Few days after I brought Haaland (finally) in my squad, his grandma dies and now he is a major doubt for the upcoming DGW.
I had to rip apart my squad just to kick him out.
Literally peak FPL.... I guess deffo hold your TC's, and do not use them. Unless you fancy TCing an angry Salah of course.
Maybe he comes back just in time, pissed to the max and takes it out on the opponents? Did not hear about this yet so will keep an eye on it trough the week. Not a big deal for my team, other than throwing a spanner into playing TC chip. |

But I'd be cautious about putting too much time into FPL, cause that tends to mess with 3-5 GW plans and the grand scheme of things. Exactly, that why it's often almost like going from bad to worse 1-2 weeks after using wildcard despite it being the most valuable chip in FPL, and the earlier and longer you plan towards a game week that 4-5 weeks away, the worse your team becomes over that stretch, at least it has happen to me year in year out, but maybe some people are often luckier in cases like this. You can offset that by following few simple rules: Never WC before international window Never WC before fixture swings Still you can have bad luck but if you wc before stuff like that tiu are just asking for trouble.
Made 3 transfers this week, minus 8 points to start GW. Now I need some points  Kidding aside, taking hits for double GW players isn't as punishing as usual so some hits are well worth it in my opinion. |

I'm leaving this awful division next season.
Div2 is like a purgatory, you simply need to grind it out a bit more. You haven't deserved the bright lights of Div1 just yet. Does he knows he's talking to someone who played there for two fuckin seasons and only got relegated for missing game rounds? Bro must be thinking he quoted Trofo. Hahaha. You're getting relegated man and thats obvious. Damm it I almost forgot today is deadline - never opened the questions and don't know my opponent yet. Well Trofo started in Div3 since I felt it would not be fair to place myself in DIv1. But tables clearly show who is on upward trajectory and who is on downward. So far I have one promotion and you have one relegation. This season I am probably getting another promotion while you are barely out of relegation zone You sure you want to drag me into discussion after being so afraid to face me in the league that you thought 3:0 is better than what would happen if you show up? |

Without taking more damage I bought Haaland for my team on the double game week and had to spend -4 points. So even if it isn't seen in the leaderboard Trofo has taken the lead. I'm also thinking of using TC for Haaland. Because Manchester City are going to play both matches home and Chelsea's defending is in a really terrible condition.

After today's game it's difficult to imagine what have to happen that Real wouldn't win La Liga this season. In one of key games of season they're destroying Girona, 4:0 already with more than 20 minutes remaining. Girona can be great in rest of games, but in both meeting with Real they had no chance completely and they return to reality now. Yeah, they still have great chances to get spot in Champions league, what would be something what nobody expected before season, but dreams about title is over. A bit sad :/
Never thought they have a realistic chance and they lasted longer then I thought possible. Watched against Barca and Atletico and they were really good in both, started to change my opinion a bit here. Did not watch against Real and while I expected Real to win it was more in line with 3:2 result or something similar. Definitly expected Girona to score and to keep it sort of close. |

yeah, it is a practice to not let players play against parent club Isn't that just an EPL of English FA thingy ? I'm not so sure If I've witnessed players not being allowed to play against their parent clubs in other league, I could be wrong because I don't think I pay much attention to it, I used to believe it's due prevent any form of potential match fixing debate or accusation, you can only imagine the kind of investigation that could warrant or bring up especially if it's in favor of the parents' club. For instance imagine the infamous Leicester City center-back Wout Faes scoring two own goals within the space of seven minutes against Liverpool last season, if he were to be a Liverpool loaned player to Leicester City and there then that happened, I really doubt the British media, or any media would have gotten over the possibility of that being a match fixing scenario. That is the problem of his new club not his old club. It is up to them to judge the player and see if that player will be extra motivated to play against his old club or if he will be hindrance. In my opinion, loaned players love to stick it to parent club and then not celebrating. Showing at the same time they are good enough to have played for parent club and respect if they get a chance to get back. |

I agree. Good thing that you dont have severe penalties or elimination for people who dont submit on time or totally forget to do it It is not going to be easy to catch up top players, so we need some big surprises and wins for underdog teams. That is our biggest problem with BSFL. It's H2H rounds are different and we hope super fun but people not submitting are ruining the experience for everyone. In traditional pools and all other competitions. Everyone is happy if someone does not submit. They just ruin their own odds of getting into the money positions. Gonna place make picks at the last minute as usual |
