621  Other / Off-topic / Re: Warning! your computer is infected call this number (Scam) on: March 16, 2020, 10:42:40 PM
I guess this can be blocked by some ad-blockers like uBlock Origin or just install a similar extension that you like, I haven't experienced this on my Desktop all ads are blocked. But on my phone Sometimes I am getting a message the same as that, like "you won a Samsung phone" etc. I just close the browser right away. Does anyone know an ad blocker on android that really works? I have installed a few but it does not block ads on android chrome browser. Maybe I should shift on brave browser.
Anyways don't set your default browser to Internet Explorer it is very slow and not good.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 16, 2020, 10:00:28 PM
To gambling addicts, If you are really an addict even using the fund for food on gambling you should not wait for Covid19 you should have stop before this virus came, But in this situation, I think it made you realized which is more important I hope you have priorities already.
It is hard to stop an addiction if you are alone so trying to communicate with other people and your family will really help.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 16, 2020, 09:31:45 PM
Some guys(whales) are abusing the situation of spreading FUDS and placing a short orders on leverage trading or futures and they earned a lot is this situation. I encourage everyone on futures to try in your own risk it seems manipulated right now it is better to be on spot trading so you can HODL how long you want and avoid being liquidated.

My bad, but I also said its better to generate offline I am not recommending it to him. Anyways, I remove the site for safety. Some sites might be a phishing attempt so it's always better to use offline. Thanks for the heads up already edited my reply.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 15, 2020, 04:01:48 PM
Absolutely yes, gambling is like a fun time or a source of income on other people, but the risk of losing is pretty big, For me, it's better to buy food, medicine, and other medical supplies. That is what we need right now, doing gambling stuff in a situation like this will not help unless you are lucky enough.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 15, 2020, 02:26:51 PM
"If it doesn't move up and down, then it's not alive" ~ Author: Unknown
Yeah sounds like a stablecoin if it doesn't move up and down  Cheesy

I cannot predict the future but I guess bitcoin is fine and not doomed, this current downtrend is caused by the combination of all the current bad news and fuds happening to our community right now. For me, bitcoin is supposed to be uptrend, cashless payments are a much better option in our situation now to avoid contact with other people concerning covid19 but anything can happen on crypto and I hope it will recover soon.
627  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning}: Another fake ledger website on: March 15, 2020, 01:52:57 PM
Is this phishing website advertised by google ads or what? where did you find it so that everyone will be aware? If on google ads I suggest installing Ads Blockers like uBlock Origin. Always bookmarked the important site and if found a suspicious phishing link help us report it here: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: March 14, 2020, 10:59:57 PM
There are two possible situations the project is a "sh*tcoin project and the other one due to current down trend.
It happens I knew a project it is down more than 200% from its IEO price. Its still exist and the ceo still active on twitter posting stuff about btc like a moonboys I am thinking that project is equivalent to a scam project I am guessing they are the one dumping their coins, No investors will sell at loss at more than 200% loss that is ridiculous right? It does not even hit IEO price on first day of trading, you can't blame those people they have their own reasons in different situations.
629  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner question on: March 14, 2020, 10:09:17 PM
There is a way to prove ownership of the particular coin address where the quantities of coins are located, and anyone can do that if they are in full control of private key/s for that address. This option is called message sign, and that way you can add specific message to any address, and by that prove that you are owner of that address/coins. As far as I know most crypto exchanges do not allow this option, and because of that we say "not your private keys, not your coins".

So if you want to sign message, first step is to move coins to wallet that is allow you to control private keys, and then follow few simple steps to sign/verify address. On this link you can find more info how to do that with various crypto wallets.

One more important thing is to always check that you download crypto wallet from legitimate source, there is many fake wallets and scams in crypto world.
This is the thing that needs to be done and the best option to claim or provide ownership on a particular bitcoin address. To OP I use brainwalletx (try in your own risk)[/b] before it is pretty easy as long as you own your private keys but it is better if you generate offline or if your wallet has sign/verify option just do it within the wallet for security. Anyways, just look into that thread Lucius provided and you're good to go.

631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Now Legal In India? on: March 10, 2020, 11:42:09 PM
Blockchain advocates have hailed the recent Indian Supreme Court’s pro-crypto ruling as a landmark for adoption and development. Now, new forces are emerging that seek to put the brakes on India’s rapid embrace of cryptocurrency.  What do you think about the future of crypto in India, guys?
That was a great move by india legalizing crypto in their country it really help the cryptocurrency adoption, following india I think south korea also making the same move. I am seeing most indian base project are also making some noise right now.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 10, 2020, 11:21:18 PM
That is a good advice, if someone there experiencing it if you are still capable try to engage yourself in different aspect in life like sports but avoid betting just do it for physical fitness and fun. Also, if you dont have a partner try to get one sincerely or if you already have a family think about them, about their future. It is really hard if you are just alone.
633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn to put some good deal of restrictions on your device on: March 10, 2020, 10:46:36 PM
Aside from making 2FA and strong passwords, for our security we need to avoid connecting on public networks/ wifi. Recently I just realize I made a mistake for connecting my device on the bus built in tablet for charging, The tab might be infected by malware so I change the USB option to "charge only" or much better dont connect it.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto tracker is the best?? on: March 10, 2020, 10:22:42 PM
I have built a cryptotracker with google sheets (google drive). Data are taken from coingecko.
there are some advantages:

after first setup, it's very easy to run, add coins and whatever (you need only coins ticker), you can customize or add new functions etc etc...
it can track "all" tokens/coins, even small one (using btc eth usd ....)
it's private (no one will know how many and which coins you have).
every time updated.
data can be exported in csv, you can run also automated graphs....
That's sound great, Are you using coingecko API? is it automated the change of price? do you mind sharing it here ? or if you already have a tutorial it is much better. Sorry I have a lot of questions  Cheesy
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do ? on: March 10, 2020, 09:37:49 PM
I want to be honest if I experience a bug like that I will try to recover all of my losses in doing gambling and report the bug afterwards and consider it as a reward for reporting to prevent more loss, The house has the majority of the wins so I guess its okay, I know everyone will do the same I hope it will not happens in reality.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto tracker is the best?? 🚀 on: March 10, 2020, 08:50:52 PM
Well, for me the best is those trackers that almost coins are available, Some trackers has this coins and some are not so I end up using more than one tracker, you can also check this one it is like coinmarketcap but you can also put the amount of coins you have. I am not saying its the best, just check it out https://coin.fyi
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 10, 2020, 07:33:14 AM
It really affects Physical Gambling casinos because it needs contact on people and it is really not safe, I guess Online gambling casinos excel right now it is very safe and convenient. I am guessing some casinos now are already closing to prevent spreading this Virus, prevention is always better than cure.
I encourage everyone to play online gambling and be safe always.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties? on: March 10, 2020, 05:35:08 AM
The solution is to stop promoting suspicious bounties, Only select few good one's. Take note on our current situation even promising projects does not pay off. No funds, No investor will result to a failure. So better select bounties that is already listed with decent price or has an upcoming IEO on a decent exchange with real team too.
from previous experience i am sure bounty hunter will cleverly pick their bounty campaign. and now we see several good campaign that already have IEO confirmation from good exchanges. working in this campaign will give us high probability to earn reward and didnt need any postponed again for long time.
Yes, That is correct hunters have learned their lesson but the newbies I guess are still not aware and they are joining every bounty in the forum.
Some of these projects have some aggressive move too, they are launching a tokensale and they are saying that they have already a confirm listing to a decent exchange but it is fake so we need to be careful to verify the listing first if it is real or not, Simply go to the exchange telegram and ask the admin.

640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin & Altcoin ATM around the world on: March 09, 2020, 11:59:33 PM
Thanks for compiling, that is a lot of ATM's but In my country I got one testimony from my fellow crypto enthusiast about a particular ATM. The rate is not that updated a bit high or lower compared to the current price, I hope not in all ATM's and some lack technical support. But it just started a few years ago in my country for sure it will improve its service in the future.
