621  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: March 23, 2016, 10:29:49 AM
I believe that some people turned on their miners till the halving ,this way they can collecte more coins before the income of them get reduced, even runing into a loss montly ,if they hold the debit and hold the halving they will be able to sell and take profit. If not going to sell at it just hold it till end the year where the price should reach 600-800 dollars.

January one year ago this bullish baseline started. Very low like 150 dollars. Projecting from that local low I would guess 600, not so likely 800 on peak.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: March 23, 2016, 10:10:16 AM
It's not a bad idea, it's definitely allot saver then using your credit card or you bank information.
Many people are afraid they get hacked or a virus en people using there information for there own good. this is a better way to prevent that.

Not only that. Profiling, credit scorings, datatrails that could affect your life.

edit: Wooops Vika! ... a picture is telling more than words. But there are coin mixers for the people who do not require the openes of a public ledger.
623  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: March 23, 2016, 10:08:49 AM
Yes, i still believe in bitcoin. As long as we all keep believing in bitcoin and hoping the price go up, it will make more people and stores to believe it.
The Grassroots approach, indeed.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin on webcam sites ? on: March 23, 2016, 10:08:16 AM
i do believe that girls get paid BTC for using webcam websites but there is not much proof
Pics or it didn't happen  Cool

Maybe BTC is late on that one, imagine the famous JenniCam (In June 2008, CNET hailed JenniCam as one of the greatest defunct websites in history.[3]) would have had the possibility.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: March 23, 2016, 10:05:43 AM
Exactly. I think many years should pass untill Bitcoin will replace fiat completely (if it ever will). People generally don't like to change their way of life and using Bitcoin is a change, maybe not that big but definitely a change, that's why they don't like it.

Now if these poll results don't show inertia, what else could? And this poll has been done amongst the inner circles of Bitcointalk  Wink

..., the majority of people think what they think, and see through the attempts to manipulate the public opinion.
Surprised to meet a fellow landsman. Living on a different continent, that may be, but still the same country. Always the same country in these regards, everywhere.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACT] Spoetnik supports IPO/ICO coins.. on: March 21, 2016, 02:51:33 AM
But we can make so much money if we invest in the right ico.
Look at eth.

So I did. Now tell me why should I have been part of the ICO?

Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan been the better monthes to stack up on ETH.
Each ICO usually drops like 60% down in value on market entry.
It's proven best practice to bypass the ICO and buy later.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is a billion dollar bubble on: March 21, 2016, 02:46:01 AM
Ethereum has a more complete scripting language than bitcoin.   These scripts that live on the blockchain can keep Ethereum and can give up some depending on logic stored on the blockchain.   It would be useful for insurance for example.   See the Ether Review on Let's Talk Bitcoin.

sdp
This is the first bit of useful information anyone has been able to tell me about it. Now though, what would make this more useful than handling insurance the traditional way? What exactly is the revolution here?

Not even evolution there. To no surprise, it's still handled the traditional way.
629  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: Superwahl-Sonntag on: March 19, 2016, 09:10:12 AM

630  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: March 14, 2016, 10:37:28 PM

Exchanger klauen.
631  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E TRADING SYSTEM HALTED, WITHDRAWALS NOT WORKING, TROLLBOX PANICKING on: March 13, 2016, 03:38:11 PM
maintenance they say:

Such impatience, very wow! Aren't they allowed some hours of downtime while migrating from Bitcoin to Ethereum  Grin
(just kidding)

BTCe has been knocked out many times before, flatlined charts at Bitcoinwisdom, it is just lasting longer than usually, to my observation.
632  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: March 13, 2016, 11:06:58 AM

633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bag Hodlers on: March 12, 2016, 08:05:31 PM
Garza's Prime stakers and Paycoin was the worst for me.

And I usually hold coins that I mine way too long.

I think a lot of us have this problem. I'm not holding anything anymore other than LTC and BTC.

I am a collector.
From the not so scarce coins usually none, others some.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL - Which crypto do you feel is the biggest "scam"? - - REVISED 4 ACCURACY - on: March 10, 2016, 03:21:34 PM
I only came up with 8 niche crypto business sectors.  Please let me know if I am overlooking any sectors.  Again, I want only the largest cap company in that sector, but not if it has ever been ran a Dictatorship:

1.   the largest (biggest market cap) data storage company is Maidsafe
2.   the largest records database company is Factom
3.   the largest social networking company is Synereo
4.   the largest music monetization company is MUSE
5.   the largest public Turing complete computer is Ethereum
6.   the largest anonymity solution (omitting DASH) is BitShares
7.   the largest file swapping service company is Florincoin (The Alexandria Project)
8.   the largest domain name company is Namecoin

So to summarize:

1.     did they delivered any product so far? Last ten years, perhaps?
2.     Namecoin entered the market earlier
3.     Facebook?
4.     iTunes.
5.     Cloud Computing. The better approach to rent CPU cycles.
6.     Bitcoin. Use a darknet search engine on "Mixers"
7.     The Pirate Bay
8.     DNS runs just fine if searching for an alternative

There are no such "niches" to deploy. The Dictatorship argument is void, proof: Apple. Microsoft. Oh, Facebook. Google.
635  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: March 09, 2016, 02:35:48 PM

636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL - Which crypto do you feel is the biggest "scam"? - BE HONEST PLEASE on: March 09, 2016, 12:50:23 PM
Monero supporters will tell you DASH is a scam,
DASH supporters will tell you Monero is a scam,
Bitcoin supporters will tell you Ethereum is a scam,
almost everybody will tell you Ripple is a scam,
nobody knows BTS (but sounds similar to BTC)
and Maidsafe does not really do exist, how could anything be a scam that doesn't exist?

For an astute businessman, drawing polls on that background must be really frustrating. You can only estimate the rough numbers of supporters for each coin.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One thing Ethereum has which BTC hasn't on: March 09, 2016, 01:48:28 AM
uhmmmm, nahhhh, u got something very wrong my nifty boy Smiley

'Reductio ad Hitlerum is a humorous observation where someone compares an opponent's views with those that would be held by Hitler or the Nazi Party.'

i dont compare any1s views with those that would be held by hitler, the nazi party or even ur momma.  i was saying that such ' strong leader ' can certainly lead to collapse of dem project, be it germania or etheruria.

638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One thing Ethereum has which BTC hasn't on: March 09, 2016, 01:36:40 AM
Ethereum has a clear, identified leader: Vitalik Buterin.

BTC had Gavin Andreesen as its frontman for a long time, and now that he's gone, BTC has stalled. Well, it's actually more complicated than this, but everybody can see that BTC has a governance problem [...]

Then again,
Germany had Hitler

640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 08, 2016, 08:13:10 AM
They wont use Monero or Dash or anything. They have much poorer liquidity than Bitcoin. There are no Localmoneros to get it from cash, only few USA-based exchanges deal with monero, xmr.to has limit of 1 or 2 btc for transfer. Monero is far from ready to be used for some serious transactions.
Only one exchange factually, which is KYC/AML conform. The vast opposite of privacy. The implementation is imperfect, lacking I2P to cover one's assIP.
