They can't even get rid of the Penny without people getting upset and nostalgic.
622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some questions before launching a new project on: January 19, 2017, 06:14:47 PM
It depends on how you send the payment whether notes really public or not. I was using Blockchain.info api for a project and notes were showing, but now they are not. The notes were only visible on blockchain.info website and NOT on the blockchain itself.
623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain Best Minimum Transfer Fee - 0.00009 BTC Only - Not More on: January 19, 2017, 06:10:30 PM
The fee is higher if the transaction size is bigger than normal, which is usually the case with lots of small transactions in your wallet.

My recommended fee from Blockchain.info is 0.00014 which I bump up to 0.00018 for regular payments and 0.0002 - 0.000222 (no more, because it doesn't seem to matter) for priority payments. This is very reasonable and gets confirmed under 20 minutes almost always.

I really don't see a need to send a payment for less than 0.001 BTC.

What would you need to buy online for so cheap?
624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What if your wallet provider goes under? on: January 19, 2017, 06:05:42 PM
For my online wallets, I import new addresses so I have copies of the Private Keys saved. That way if the wallet provider goes down, I can import the keys into another wallet. The only problem is if the online wallet service is compromised and they sweep all the private keys. Then you're screwed. But that's the reason I only keep a small amount of BTC in online wallets.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin revenue sharing list on: January 19, 2017, 05:52:44 PM
By "Revenue Share" do you mean Affiliate Program/Referral Program?
626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Is Now Moving Up on: January 17, 2017, 08:42:47 PM
We are still in Early Adoptor/Smart Money investors phase, of course you should BUY and HOLD always. Never sell all your coins, work extra hours if you have to. We are far from mass adoption, no point taking large risks just yet.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation Time is now not a problem at local shops. Buy without any wait on: January 16, 2017, 10:09:09 PM
It's true, Bitcoin transactions with a 0.0002 fee are confirmed very quickly. And even credit card payments can be reversed many days later. So even though the transaction is unconfirmed, it's still received "instantly".
628  Economy / Speculation / Re: Silence! accumulation? on: January 16, 2017, 09:28:47 PM
Nope, the silence is the disgust we're all feeling from this pump and dump. The manipulators are busy at work trying to squeeze every dollar out of the fools who bought during the New Years stunt.

They are only fools if they dumped their coins after the spike. Buy and Hold should always be the strategy at this phase of the Game.

There are people that bought BTC at $30 before it dropped back to $1. Are they fools for holding till now?
629  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low do you think the chinese volume will go, now that PBOC is auditing them? on: January 16, 2017, 09:26:51 PM
In the end, the regulations will only cause price increases due to fees, restrictions, etc. Bitcoin will be harder to get, thus people will pay more.
630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who made big money? on: January 16, 2017, 09:23:37 PM
People acting like Bitcoin is a pump and dump penny stock. Tsk Tsk  Undecided

Better buy back now before it's too late!
631  Other / Off-topic / Re: In search of a tool that could find out if a foto is manipulated on: January 15, 2017, 07:54:41 PM
You can usually open the image up in Gimp or Photoshop and adjust the Image Levels. Normal photos will have even looking pixelated areas, and pasted layers will stand out in Manipulated images.
632  Other / Off-topic / Re: Friday the 13th today. Is it unlucky for you? on: January 15, 2017, 07:50:38 PM
Some people are lucky on Friday the 13th, might as well assume you will be one of them  Smiley
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bubble 3.0 on: January 15, 2017, 06:33:52 PM
I think next bubble is bitcoin bubble 7.0. See the following for the number of bubbles we have had:

https://medium.com/@mcasey0827/speculative-bitcoin-adoption-price-theory-2eed48ecf7da#.w5xwlz9hq

We must even be still in bubble 6 and merely in a correction/profit-taking phase.

With a 1500% ROI at $700 baseline, the $10,000 figure is appropriate (average price of used+new cars)
634  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bubble 3.0 on: January 15, 2017, 03:46:19 AM
It's more like:

1. Rally to $266
2. Rally to $1300
3. Rally to $35000
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly can you buy with Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2017, 12:04:10 AM
With Bitcoin, you can deposit to Online Casinos quickly and receive withdrawals on the same day. With real money casinos, it takes weeks to receive a check, and your bank may or may not deposit the funds (if they suspect fraudulent activity).
636  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Problems on: January 14, 2017, 10:02:12 PM
The Recommended fee is usually about 0.00012, and my transactions weren't getting confirmed fast enough. So I bumped it up to 0.00018 and they confirm in under 30 minutes. Sometimes I will use 0.0002 to ensure quick confirms.
637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bubble 3.0 on: January 14, 2017, 09:54:38 PM
It's coming, are you ready?

agreed with previouse poster , what makes you so sure?

638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Julian Assange met Satoshi Nakamato? on: January 14, 2017, 08:31:30 PM
I'm sure there are people that know who the real Satoshi is whether Julian Assange, Hal Finney or someone else.

And if they haven't met Satoshi personally, there's probably at least a few in close circles with Satoshi that might have an idea.
639  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin Bubble 3.0 on: January 14, 2017, 08:05:11 PM
It's coming, are you ready?
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here has the most Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2017, 03:59:29 PM
To answer your question. Satoshi Nakamoto has the most Bitcoins on this Forum. Estimated 1 Million BTC.
