621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: August 04, 2023, 10:02:10 AM
Let me say since the beginning of this year we have been getting different prediction on Bitcoin prizes and investors too have been keeping their hopes very high on those predictions...

Those doing these predictions are having so much expectations and they said, Bitcoin will recover to $25k in 2024 and then rise to $45k in 2025 them by 2030 Bitcoin will get to $69k. Other crypto analysts suggest even higher price targets ranging from $100,000 to $1 million, but we should keep in mind that all Bitcoin forecasts are predictions. CLICK HERE

With all these being said I feel is time we face the reality that all these are just predictions, is under probability.

Op, with all due respect to you, don't you know that last 2021 the ATH of bitcoin's value became if I'm not mistaken it reached 68k$, and after reaching that the value in the market continued to fall until now. Then the prediction is a prediction that can happen or. the prediction will not happen. That means it depends on each individual to believe. And I think many people are really hoping that 2024 or more will really plunge the value of Bitcoin in the market. But this is not an assurance that their prediction will actually happen.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: August 04, 2023, 09:51:17 AM
If I only had enough money to buy an asic miner, I would prefer to mine Bitcoin because there is no hassle. As long as the kwh consumption of my electricity here in my house is also low. It's just that electricity is expensive here in my country, so Bitcoin mining is not practical in my area.
So, my choice would be to just buy Bitcoin and do day trading to accumulate earnings every day, which anyone who will do trading activity in the crypto space should also have enough knowledge.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 04, 2023, 09:41:22 AM
It's good that somehow the person who won the lotto had an apartment still has something left over to make way for him to get back on his feet. So sometimes being a good person to others should also be placed in the right place, because there are people who when they know you have money and you are a good person, they will take advantage of this opportunity to make a fool of you and get what they really want.
And this story is also a bit different compared to the ones I heard about who also won the lottery but also went to nothing and went back to being poor. It's not like this, the last asset he had that was an apartment was his last resource to get back up and not go back to being poor. Nice story😊
624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: August 03, 2023, 09:54:29 AM
Not really because even if meme coin is known to be a pure scam it didn't give any big problem as a whole since many already know that there are just a scam dev take the advantage on what is the current trend in some particular season. And beside there are so many things that people would probably love about crypto and meme coin scam is just isolated cases which people can avoid if they just do there research before investing.
How sure are you though that people already know that a meme coin is a scam? Just so you know that many people are still falling for pump and dump scheme and it's easy for those scammers to pretend that they are a legitimate one. The problem with your optimism is that people will check out crypto in a more in-depth after experiencing scam is highly unlikely. Even if you say that it's isolated, news stories will still make a big deal out of it and people are most likely to associate that case to cryptocurrency as a whole.

I think what OP is trying to say is that with a lot of scam meme coins out there, it's tarnishing crypto because those are the first thing that most newbies to crypto encounters which makes it frustrating for them and crypto ends up giving a bad first impression which might discourage a lot of people from even going deeper in the cryptocurrency rabbit hole. Regarding the question that's in the title, it's not the meme coins itself that's tarnishing cryptocurrency reputation, and not all meme coins are scam per se, maybe a market manipulation toy for whales but scam is a bit far fetch.

You know if there are other investors here in the crypto space who are investing in memecoins, it is because they are participating in a small amount that they can time that there is a potential for the value to increase in the future, as happened with Pepecoin, Shiba inu, and dogecoin they can advance in life immediately. And we can't stop it if it's their choice of decision. Especially since they are willing to lose the capital they will use for meme coins. And I also think that this mentality will not disappear from other people in the crypto space, who knows if the era of meme coins will come.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 03, 2023, 09:42:18 AM
Almost majority of the community here in the forum are agreed that applying for loan to gambling only is not a wise thing decision. Which is I also agreed, in fact on this such behavior is only addict gambler can do this actually. It is because for a responsible player in a casino won't do this for sure.
Because several community in the gambling industry always gave reminders to gamble moderately, and do it for fun or entertainment only.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to DCA 1.000.000 $ into Bitcoin on: August 03, 2023, 09:28:07 AM
lets say someone wins a million dollar and wants to dca 50k weekly into bitcoin.
What is the smartest way to do so?

I know nothing and would send 50k to binance each week and set a limit order every monday. Is there a better way?

Thx Smiley

If you win or 1M$  the dollar would you like to allocate for bitcoin and hold it until the bull run arrives? Because if I ever Igot that amount of million dollars, I would separate 250k$ that I would provide it for bitcoin immediately. And I will use 50k$ in day trading and the profit I will get  it on day trading I will apply DCA for other potential cryptocurrency besides Bitcoin. Then the others are for the personal things I need in life such as house and lot, cars and business and other good investment such as real estate and mutual fund something like that.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 02, 2023, 10:19:07 AM
This kind of illustration can be said of a gambler's motivational mindset that he should know if he is in a category. The question is, what do those who enter a casino think, just to play or have fun?
Because other communities here say it is just for a moment's problem, is this a real question? Because we admit it or not the majority of the Crypto Gamblinh players are still hoping to win or get the jackpot somehow.

That is the truth nowadays.People do not enter casinos to have fun except a few cases which consist of less than 0.01% of the total gamblers who enter the casino. This happens simply because nowadays majority of us have a really busy life and have got not much time to lose and as such we enter the casino,be it online or offline with the clear intention of hitting that jackpot or the max win payout in certain slot machines. This cannot change in our time as I said because people have got not much free time to just having some fun in the casinos.
All that is meant by having fun is a healthy mindset not to focus on jackpots or wins, the fact is that a gambler will become a curious addict when they feel defeated or when their expectations are not met, that's why some say we have to change the mindset not focused on wins and jackpots but playing according to our control to have fun enjoying the game.

Let's just say that the win is a bonus so enjoying the game is the main intention and goal of playing gambling, I know that can be called hypocritical but I believe this method can make us more controlled when we don't achieve our desires then we will stop gambling, because we are already enjoying games and not really getting the jackpot won't be a problem, because from the start we have instilled the mindset to have fun not to make money. maybe this will explain a little about the healthy mindset. wins and jackpots are bonuses

Playing gamble because they are looking for amusement is much better than to become addict gambler. Because while we think about getting the jackpot price, we become more aggressive to play because we don't get it, and we don't even realize that as time goes by we didn't notice that we are heading to become greedy,  because of our focus on getting the jackpot. So I can also say that it is a responsible behavior of a gambler.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Bitcoins to never gamble again. Will you take it? on: August 02, 2023, 10:08:31 AM
If in real life someone would offer 5 Bitcoins to a gambler just in exchange for him to stop gambling, who would refuse the amount of 100k$ more, for sure everyone who will accept that amount will stop of course. It's like hitting the lottery when it happens to us.
I just hope that a true gambling addict will stop gambling after receiving 5 Bitcoins.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Crypto, The SEC Confirms on: August 02, 2023, 09:58:45 AM
Sometimes you can just laugh here at Sec, because Bitcoin has existed in this business industry for more than a decade, don't say that they just realized that Bitcoin is not crypto. And the cryptocurrency is those who imitate the nature of Bitcoin which is the reason why Bitcoin is more popular and is even happening now especially in the future.
But that's okay and the Sec knows that Bitcoin is very different from other crypto's. Good news for me, nice moved SEC😊
630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for newbies on: August 01, 2023, 05:40:22 AM
Know the Market learn the Market and it's very important to know it's financial and big instutions playground.
U got to know their rules of game.
I know the rules of game and i make all the moves according how the big guys and big funds moving.
Follow the rules of funds and wall Street sec and Fed and you Are good here.
I want to believe this advice is specifically for day traders, well, another thing which I personally think is very important is that, aspiring day traders, that is newbies, should know that day trading is not for everybody, you gotta know if trading is what you really wanna do for the love of it, or whether frustration of live is what is pushing you into day trading solely to earn money - then watch it carefully, day trading can make or break you in matter of seconds, most especially for those trading the futures market, futures market is one reserved for already well established and professional traders, do not as a newbie ever go into trading future, you will get burnt out even before you realize what is going on.
Day trading is not easy and is full of risks. So you need to study the market well and learn technical analysis on a high basis. Not just for day trading but in trading as a general.

However, even if you become a professional and a very experienced trader, that is not an excuse from losing. Losses are inevitable in trading, that’s why if you are weak and easily faints, then trading is certainly not for you.

In what you said, I really agree with your point here, because the only people who do day trading are scalpers, or professional traders. As long as you have a deep knowledge of crypto trading, you can get into it somehow. I've been in this industry for a few years, I still haven't perfected day trading because it's not easy to do honestly.
And it is not easy to determine if the value of the coins you bought will increase or decrease. You really need to have a deep understanding of trading, you can't know nothing.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 01, 2023, 05:30:24 AM
There's this scene I witnessed today at a local sport betting house  and I found it very funny and unbelievably true at same time. A certain young man after making his predictions placed his bet and his betting slip was printed to him then another gambler in the house approached him and asked to make a rebet of his games for himself but I was shocked when the young man refused with the excuse that he doesn't share his predictions that sharing it will make him lose his bet. More like having his luck to win reduce or changed maybe because the person he shared his games with could be someone with a bad luck on that day.

Although I have heard of behaviors like this with some gamblers  but I never believe it not until I witnessed it myself today and it was weird to me imagining how you will get to lose your bet by allowing someone else rebet it. In all my years of gambling I believe that a game prediction that will play as predicted will definitely play not regarding the number of people that bet on same prediction.

So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?

We know that there are other people who believe in superstition and there are others who do not. Then it's just common sense, why tell others your prediction because after you did it, it will appear that they can also copy your prediction and get it right, there will be many of you who will share the winnings, at that point will you agree that there will be a share in win?
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 01, 2023, 05:09:37 AM
In my understanding the demo is for us to know what is in the slot games, and we can feel if it is fun to play with these features of the casino. But we won't be able to get the amount that we can win in the demo with real money because it's just a demo.
Rather than live gambling, it's a matter of real gambling. and not just a kind of illustration.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UFO tokens on: July 28, 2023, 10:06:29 AM
scammers will not miss any opportunity to get rich at the expense of the greedy and stupid. As the zasad@ said, the best you can do right now is to "watch this from the side with popcorn" or even better, ignore this phenomenon entirely, because even searching for tokens, writing about them, gives scammers and their coins extra attention.

BTW coins listed by OP are not new coins.

You're right there, then for meme coin hunters, they might invest in UFO, shiba memu and Allien, maybe if I invest in UFO, I'll buy even if it costs only 15$ and then just hold, even if it loses, it's fine. We know that meme coins are high risk. Maybe if I have a lot of money, the maximum I can invest in meme coins is around 30$-50$.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be pulled by the hype of meme coins on: July 27, 2023, 05:26:02 PM
As long as we always remember that most meme coins are very high risk, only a few of them can be said to be somehow okay for me like the Shiba inu, even if it just started for fun but in the long run it became serious it and we have seen the improvement and development made by its developer. While Pepecoin was brought by manipulators who at the same time are whale holders of pepecoins which in fact are higher risk than shiba Inu and Doge. so invest at your own risk anyway.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto EGG Meme Run to $1 on: July 27, 2023, 05:15:55 PM
How can you be sure it will go to $1? Seems like you just promoting your memecoin and only hoping for that.

Just a claim for people who created it to hype their project and attempt to attract people on that figures they give. And if you look closely on their supply or even the demand its hard for it to reach that far, also most of the scammers use that words so I guess we better avoid any to good to be true offer since we know how it will end up. Much better to be selective and have critical thinking on this kind of investment so that we will not get scammed by them.

Absolutely, op is just misleading others about this egg meme coins,  I never see it listed on the top exchange in the market, and yet He is telling that it could be better than the old top meme coins here in the crypto space, in which is not true at all.
That is why I suggest others to be more careful and be vigilant in terms of investment here in this industry.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Advise People To Stake? on: July 27, 2023, 04:13:53 PM
I'm a beginner so I put it in the Beginners & Help section.

Coinbase offers "Cosmos" with a yearly annual return of 17.66%.
I did some research on Cosmos and its future looks bright.
On my research, it says to only Stake on huge platforms, such as Coinbase.
I realize the drawback is you freeze your funds for a certain amount of time.
The other drawback is because of Crypto's ups and downs, you might lose money if it goes down. But that's true of any crypto, including BTC.

As far as I can tell, the annual return stays at 17.66% for the duration.
Is there any drawback I'm missing?
Why don't people just buy Cryptos that they can stake?

if I have a platform to use to make stakes or Farming it is only Binance and Biswap, because I tried to stake Bitcoin using Binance for 90 days and based on my experienced it was good and I never encounter any such problems.
And in dex, biswap was one I trusted this platform never fails me it always satisfies me every time I made a staking here. it may not be good to others but for me it was good in my experience as well.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 25, 2023, 02:47:49 PM
I know that it is not too advisable to teach kids bitcoin, but you can still teach them if you want them to have the idea of bitcoin. I want to share my strategy on how to teach kids bitcoin and you can try it. Especially, those of us that want our kids to know what bitcoin is or have the basic knowledge of bitcoin. If you have a cartoon on bitcoin, you can put it for them to watch and after watching, ask them if they enjoyed it. Tell them that whenever they watch the cartoon, you will give them a reward, and it should be the something that they like most. Maybe candy, ice cream whatever that you know that makes them happy when they eat it,but something easy to afford. Like down here I can buy some chocolates for him. Tell them to watch it every evening or when you think is cool for them. Don't forget to keep to your promise whenever they watch the cartoon. You will see that they might not like the cartoon but they will love to watch the cartoon based on the benefit attached to it,and some will love to watch it not because of the benefit. You will see that consistent watching of the cartoon will begin to send messages to them about bitcoin and before you know it they will start asking you questions from the cartoon that they don't understand. From there you might take over from there. This is what I think that will work for me but it might not work for everyone. Newbies can also watch this cartoon to get a glimpse on what bitcoin is.
I have two cartoons on bitcoin

Turtle Twins

Tears of Clowns

What are your views on this.Let's discuss.

I like the effort to make cartoons about Bitcoin, but for children aged 7-8yrs up to 10 yrs. old, it seems like they can't appreciate the explanations that are said in the show. If you watch him, it seems that the child will easily understand Bitcoin, but in reality it is not.. so the best thing to do is to familiarize the children with its usages first, this is just my opinion and my suggestion.

639  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: July 25, 2023, 02:31:18 PM
Does that mean op, these casinos you mentioned are the best casinos for you? almost all of what you said are long lasting in the crypto gambling industry. That's why I'm wondering why sportsbet's rating is only 1.9 on trustpilot, why did sportsbet have a problem? or it's possible that only a few people play at sportbet, because I don't have much news on this crypto gambling to be honest. seems to have been overshadowed by emerging casinos in the crypto space.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: "Prepare for defation in 2023" on: July 25, 2023, 02:01:39 PM
The Federal Reserve is now watching the markets closely, and the continuity of withdrawing liquidity for a long period will accelerate avoiding deflation. It is easy to pump liquidity, but it will make it difficult to reach “healthy” inflation during the current fiscal year.

I am afraid of what is happening in China. The last thing we are waiting to see now is the return of  COVID19 with a good mutation, which means more health restrictions.
And the war that is taking place in Ukraine and the lack of control over it.
The energy crisis and its problems, especially with the European economy.

So we have enough problems to fear deflation

It may not happen that we will return to covid19 again, because we have seen its effects and effects all over the world and that is not good. After all, we haven't fully recovered after several years of pandemic.
Then I don't think the FED will let that happen, as long as they find a solution, they are for sure already doing it and preparing to not lead to such a situation.
