Pure PoS coins are never going to be valued high since there's no actual money (invested in hardware) backing the price. Not to mention they are unfairly distributed, they benefit just early adopters who had the chance to mine them in the brief mining phase. Just look at PeerCoin for a PoS coin done right which allows mining besides staking.
If you think that hardware is backing up the price of a coin...man, your math is so wrong... |

Teka, at the most recent AMA, you said that there were 5 developers / coders working full-time for XC (atc & jasinlee included). You said 2 on Xnode, 2 on EMs/Ec and 1 on QT.
However, in the OP, it only lists atcsecure and jasinlee as full-time developers.
My question is: Why are the other 3 developers not listed anywhere?
Is that even relevant? Who cares who they are? Maybe they don't even want to make their name/username public... Do you feel the urge so badly to ask irrelevant questions? |

Let's put it this way, I think that with the massive privacy concerns being bought in mainstream audience, top 3 alts after Bitcoin will be XC/Dark/VRC . Also the supply of XC isn't that big compared to other alts. On another note XC was never 0.02BTC . I personally don't see anything special about VRC (as of this moment). Verisend is both trusted and centralized (aka, very bad). And veribit is the biggest gimmick I've ever seen in altcoins, ever (altbeit, a successful gimmick). VeriCoin is a very stupid name... Alarm going off AGAIN this time hitting under 120K. My sign to buy.... to bad I only have .5BCT right now :/
it's reaching 120k or less at least two times per week... Seems that way. Every time I buy more it seems to go up, then to come back down a few days later, its like a cycle. What worries me is am I getting too deep into this coin. Not that I doubt it, but the market is so dang funny. You see other coins with all the issues, go up and up, this one is one of those who does not seem to ever have any real issues, just bounces in a tight range. Guys, DRK remained from 120k-160k sats for nearly 2 months before it broke 1m... Yes, this is an accumulation period... taking into consideration the almost one month stability ~130k +/- price, this is called stable price in a coin offering such potential, and having a maximum 5,5kk Coins... The real price of the coin should be over 0.01 BTC, and stable over that price... |
