621  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICOs asking for passport...is it safe? on: March 04, 2018, 02:22:44 PM
In the course of some ICO campaigns, sometimes they require the provision of their identity and copies of passports from investors and members of the generosity campaign. We can not know how these personal data and copies of our documents can be used later, and since last year more than a third of the ICO campaigns turned out to be fraudulent, it's quite unsafe. No one can guarantee that these data will not be used for any unlawful purpose, especially since they can fall directly into the hands of criminals.

The requirement to pass the KYC check for the participants of the signature campaign is generally illegal because the essence of such a check is to exclude the investment of funds obtained by criminal means and participation of citizens of those countries where such participation in ICO campaigns is prohibited by law. Signature campaign participants are not investors and therefore there is no sense in requiring them to undergo such a check. ICO companies use this, usually after the completion of the ICO, in order to not pay earned tokens to those who do not want to undergo such verification.
622  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will people pay taxes for bitcoin ? on: March 04, 2018, 02:00:52 PM
Any state that generates profits can be taxed by the state. Not an exception in this is the crypto currency, which usually brings a good income to persons who deal with it. If the state introduced such a tax, it will have to be paid, it is a necessary stage in the development and development of the crypto currency. Simultaneously with taxation, the state determines and fixes the status of the crypto currency, and takes legal protection of its owners and holders. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with taxation, it is necessary to reconcile with this as an inevitable phenomenon.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 03, 2018, 12:52:04 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Until recently, this scenario was quite possible. Bitcoin has accumulated a lot of its shortcomings and therefore became slow, with high commission fees for transactions. As a result, he began to lose his popularity and fall in price because of a drop in demand for him.

However, on February 26, a new version of Bitcoin 0.16.0 was released, the main difference being the full support of Bitcoin SegWit. Since SegWit compresses the volume of transactions, this makes it possible to solve the problem of low scaling bitcoin, reducing the time of its transactions and, as a consequence, reducing the amount of commission fees for conducting transactions.

In this regard, now bitcoin must again restore its efficiency and popularity, and the crypto-currency market - to revive. Taking this into account, replacing bitcoin as the leader of the crypto currency is another, more successful crypto currency is not expected.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The end of the banks due to bitcoin on: March 03, 2018, 12:34:13 AM
Banks as a part of the mandatory attributes of the state will never disappear. They are needed by any state, because through them the state's financial policy is being implemented and the country's economy is being financed. Banks, therefore, are needed by any state. Most likely, the Crypto currency will find a way to peacefully exist with banks, which, in the end, will also use the crypto currency to provide paid services to citizens.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is Delta going to die? on: February 28, 2018, 11:46:10 PM
No, it won't die. With that being said etherdelta is not the most popular decentralized exchange anymore. People switched over IDEX, Forkdelta and Kyber Network.
Soon everything will fall into place, EtherDelta will be unloaded and will start working normally.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Ico kyc ?? on: February 28, 2018, 11:38:08 PM
The KYC procedure is generally aimed at preventing cases of investment by money obtained through criminal means. Therefore, ICO companies do not have the right to require identification data, as well as copies of identity documents, in the generosity campaign participants who do not invest in ICO projects, but only practically engage in advertising to attract investors. In addition, if ICO wants to exclude individuals with multiple accounts, they can write about it directly and openly in the context of joining this campaign. However, they do not write this and do not even answer the question whether they will subsequently require such data and copies of documents so that each person has the right to choose to provide such data, or remain anonymous and not join the campaign.

ICO companies are beginning to require such data after the ICO, at a time when each token of generosity is credited with the tokens they earned. Here these campaigns do not care about the fact that the forum did not have multi-accounts. They do not care, it means losing your precious time when the ICO campaign has just ended and a lot of other work is ahead of you. They do this in order not to pay already counted tokens if the participant does not want to provide their data for any reason. Tokens not paid to a specific person are simply assigned by this command. This is pure fraud, that is, a fraud in order to seize property, in this case, tokens, which already actually belong to the person to whom they did not pay them, because the agreed work has already been done.

So is it necessary to send scammers their data and copies of their passports?

If recently there have been doubts in many people about the prospects for bitcoin, now, when a new version of Bitcoin 0.16.0 is released, these doubts should disappear because bitcoin loses its shortcomings and again will have good demand. Therefore, no new crypto currency will be replaced in the near future.
634  Local / Разное / Re: Пoчeмy людu nлaтят нaлoгu on: February 17, 2018, 10:51:26 PM
639  Local / Новости / Re: Холодильник и криптовалюта on: February 17, 2018, 09:44:34 PM
