621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Physical Bitcoin Mints? on: October 13, 2015, 08:06:08 PM
Ask the people that sell the coins in the goods sections.

I think it is not much different than other physical coins, except byt the hologram, so people that mint coins probably will be able to mind physical cryptos too
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: October 13, 2015, 08:04:33 PM
With nothing that I can really offer, I can only really suggest a set of good faucets or something, moonbit is a faucet that is my fave recently

You can earn coins there quickly I will admit that.  He also wants coins to come in large amounts.  This is not possible from Moonbit or any other faucet unless you get super duper lucky.  Try other things though as I suggested earlier.
faucets could be effective if you have a set of referrals to back you up and increase your earnings in a small amount of time
but as stated in the op he has some skills in coding which could boost his earnings

referrals are better in other sites, like gambling sites and similar

you basically will get a tiny part of the tiny amount the people you refer get

I think it is not even worth the time you spend to spread your referral
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more you know... on: October 13, 2015, 07:59:20 PM
Yes, but things won't look so good when you compare PIB and number of units in circulation

625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 13, 2015, 07:48:17 PM
Market is never too saturated for creativity and some skills ! Even though most of the promoters around are into gambling or betting sites you can always out run them in the long run by creating something which is not there ! Start a gambling site  maybe with free option to play or better games to play ,overall a good user experience. If once players get hooked up to it, you will have your bacon! The idea is to make something which has not become  a cliche !

What if I truly believe I've got the creativity and have a brilliant idea for a new gambling game/site, but don't have the skills to code nor the legal standing to host one since I'm in the US?  I really believe the game I have in mind will be a big hit.  If any one knows any body who would like to start a partnership to create the "next big thing" for online gambling, please respond to me, or shoot me a PM.  I would love for someone to jump aboard and help create it, if they are in a jurisdiction that allows them to make online gambling site; and in return I will do all campaigning and marketing of the game.

I've also got some spare funds to fund the creation of the site, but with this game you don't need a bank roll to start out (No it's not a ponzi).

Have you already made all the business stuff that the business people tell you to do before you open a business?

Like: what will be your public target, how much setup and maintain the site will cost, etc

629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 13, 2015, 05:24:27 PM
Gambling is a subject which is directly proportional to your luck! As scientists say the luck factor is related to your stars and some astrology BS.We can take Dan Bilzerian for example, he earns massive amounts by playing poker in LV!Not every poker player has made it this big ,there're a few exceptions! Also, I have heard about the stories of the people losing their homes and property in gambling.Lucky are those who're smart! At the end of the day they play it smart! As long as your greediness doesn't take over your smartness you're safe .

There are several poker strategies and there is no house edge so you have some chance to be a long term winner if you have outstanding skills.

It is not the same as roulette or other games
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: October 13, 2015, 05:15:22 PM
It is.

Credit cards are expensive and few peple use it and people fear to use them on gambling sites because of data leak. Bitcoin solves all the problems with credit cards and is quicker too
631  Economy / Gambling / Re: VOTE! What is the best bet size for you? on: October 13, 2015, 05:04:18 PM
Minimum should be the smallest unit, which is 1 satoshi. People should have right to play whatever amount they want.

Would be bad for players because of rounding errors for the reward.

I think should not be lower than 1 cent.

I don't know any casino that would allow smaller bets than 1 cent.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: October 13, 2015, 05:00:08 PM
Lots of international games, from America, Africa, Europe and Asia

Italy vs Norway Italy wins
Holland vs Czech Republic draw
Malta vs Croatia Croatia
Belgium vs Israel Belgium
Wales vs Andorra Wales over 3.5 goals
Turkey vs Iceland Turkey with clean sheet

There are professional blackjack players that would also beg to differ.

This doesn't work long-term, because you're banned long before you make a lot of profit.

I am quite sure counting cards is illegal, so even if you manage to count them you probably won't make a profit, just like Ranlo says here.  I could be wrong but I think it is illegal at most casinos.

You're right; it is. It's seen as theft/exploitation.

I thought this was not illegal?  Isn't it just frowned upon?  How do they actually know you are counting cards as well?  Seems rather odd that they would just come up to you and say, hey you have been counting cards we need you arrested?

It's all just patterns, and it's easily deciphered. It's not illegal like jail time, but it's illegal to the casino.

Then I can't use my memory in the game?

How will they discover me, do they have mind reading devices that know when some people is memorizing the cards and when they are not?

You've never been to a casino, have you?

Yes, I never have been in a real life casino.

It is more or less unecessary when you know Bitcoin

There are pit bosses at each game watching players. Each table has multiple cameras that have various types of recognition (they can detect things like stress, certain facial features, etc.). And last but not least, it's obvious if you're winning most of the time because, well, you're winning most of the time. It's not hard to figure out.

So if you win most of the time they might think you are cheating?  I know several people who play Blackjack at a casino here and I have seen them walk away up 2,000 dollars in less than 2 hours.  They have gone back multiple times I know, and have won multiple times.  Any reason why they are not getting into trouble?

I agree.

If they ban people when they have a winning streak, I think no one will want to play in the casino. Also card counting is not miraculous, you'll get a small +EV but nothing that will looks like you are cheating.

I think the problem is with people that try to use hidden computers or to comunicate with other people with hidden earphones.

638  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge: What's the best way to win 1 BTC with 1 BTC? on: October 12, 2015, 07:57:24 PM
I don't think it is possible to have anything better then a 2x bet at any dice site.  That should give you your best odds to actually win.

What are you trying to say?

What would be "better" than a 2x bet? A 3x bet has a higher payout, but a 1.5x bet has a higher chance of winning. Which is better? Why is 2x "best"?

What do you mean by "best odds"?

It's hard to argue against what you say when what you say is too fuzzy to grasp onto, even though what you're trying to say is almost certainly incorrect.

The topic is about doubling your bitcoins, so I guess 2x is the minimum. I don't know any strategy that will lower the house edge(but some may increase or decrease the variance, but still hard)

Maybe try sport bets, if you don't know anything just follow Joca's advices(split your bets to be more sure)?

No surprises so far.

Except maybe San Marino vs Slovenia with no goals in the first half
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: October 12, 2015, 08:17:43 AM
Go to a online casino supporting bitcoin payment, buy some chips and go to a single zero roulette game, bet all on RED: 47.3% chance to double it  Wink

go for a dice instead if you want to gamble, you'll have 49% odd and you can do it from home at any time of day

and you won't have to sell your BTC because casinos don't accept BTC
