Gambling is a subject which is directly proportional to your luck! As scientists say the luck factor is related to your stars and some astrology BS.We can take Dan Bilzerian for example, he earns massive amounts by playing poker in LV!Not every poker player has made it this big ,there're a few exceptions! Also, I have heard about the stories of the people losing their homes and property in gambling.Lucky are those who're smart! At the end of the day they play it smart! As long as your greediness doesn't take over your smartness you're safe .

There are several poker strategies and there is no house edge so you have some chance to be a long term winner if you have outstanding skills.

It is not the same as roulette or other games
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: October 13, 2015, 05:15:22 PM
It is.

Credit cards are expensive and few peple use it and people fear to use them on gambling sites because of data leak. Bitcoin solves all the problems with credit cards and is quicker too
625  Economy / Gambling / Re: VOTE! What is the best bet size for you? on: October 13, 2015, 05:04:18 PM
Minimum should be the smallest unit, which is 1 satoshi. People should have right to play whatever amount they want.

Would be bad for players because of rounding errors for the reward.

I think should not be lower than 1 cent.

I don't know any casino that would allow smaller bets than 1 cent.

There are professional blackjack players that would also beg to differ.

This doesn't work long-term, because you're banned long before you make a lot of profit.

I am quite sure counting cards is illegal, so even if you manage to count them you probably won't make a profit, just like Ranlo says here.  I could be wrong but I think it is illegal at most casinos.

You're right; it is. It's seen as theft/exploitation.

I thought this was not illegal?  Isn't it just frowned upon?  How do they actually know you are counting cards as well?  Seems rather odd that they would just come up to you and say, hey you have been counting cards we need you arrested?

It's all just patterns, and it's easily deciphered. It's not illegal like jail time, but it's illegal to the casino.

Then I can't use my memory in the game?

How will they discover me, do they have mind reading devices that know when some people is memorizing the cards and when they are not?

You've never been to a casino, have you?

Yes, I never have been in a real life casino.

It is more or less unecessary when you know Bitcoin

There are pit bosses at each game watching players. Each table has multiple cameras that have various types of recognition (they can detect things like stress, certain facial features, etc.). And last but not least, it's obvious if you're winning most of the time because, well, you're winning most of the time. It's not hard to figure out.

So if you win most of the time they might think you are cheating?  I know several people who play Blackjack at a casino here and I have seen them walk away up 2,000 dollars in less than 2 hours.  They have gone back multiple times I know, and have won multiple times.  Any reason why they are not getting into trouble?

I agree.

If they ban people when they have a winning streak, I think no one will want to play in the casino. Also card counting is not miraculous, you'll get a small +EV but nothing that will looks like you are cheating.

I think the problem is with people that try to use hidden computers or to comunicate with other people with hidden earphones.

632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge: What's the best way to win 1 BTC with 1 BTC? on: October 12, 2015, 07:57:24 PM
I don't think it is possible to have anything better then a 2x bet at any dice site.  That should give you your best odds to actually win.

What are you trying to say?

What would be "better" than a 2x bet? A 3x bet has a higher payout, but a 1.5x bet has a higher chance of winning. Which is better? Why is 2x "best"?

What do you mean by "best odds"?

It's hard to argue against what you say when what you say is too fuzzy to grasp onto, even though what you're trying to say is almost certainly incorrect.

The topic is about doubling your bitcoins, so I guess 2x is the minimum. I don't know any strategy that will lower the house edge(but some may increase or decrease the variance, but still hard)

Maybe try sport bets, if you don't know anything just follow Joca's advices(split your bets to be more sure)?

No surprises so far.

Except maybe San Marino vs Slovenia with no goals in the first half
634  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: October 12, 2015, 08:17:43 AM
Go to a online casino supporting bitcoin payment, buy some chips and go to a single zero roulette game, bet all on RED: 47.3% chance to double it  Wink

go for a dice instead if you want to gamble, you'll have 49% odd and you can do it from home at any time of day

and you won't have to sell your BTC because casinos don't accept BTC
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Halvening on: October 12, 2015, 08:16:08 AM
Things can easily snowball out of control and likely will - people buying before the halving  will be reported by the media and the publicity will  lead more people to buy.... Then the halving of surplus coins will take effect so there will be a new ALT.... and it might even shock us  all  come before the halving because people I have talked to are stocking up in advance

like the Gox bubble?

I hope because bubbles are lucrative and some people always stay when the bubble poops
636  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: October 12, 2015, 07:58:53 AM
If I find a better way to earn money that is so better that make all BTC ways to earn like faucets are today for me

Just use the Core and don't hurry, so you can afford several confirmations before spending, and you will be safe
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 12, 2015, 07:52:46 AM
Never buy at the top and everyone is talking about it.

At least not to hodl and hope the price rises.

Now for example would be a good time to buy because everything is quiet
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do u invest or u trying to make something from giveaways? on: October 12, 2015, 07:40:40 AM
giveaways are much better than faucets.

unless in happy hours, but they are not as common as in the past anymore
640  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: October 12, 2015, 07:39:03 AM
Maybe you should get some kind of bonuses when you reach some wagered amount figure or some other motivation like rakeback or something.

you get bonus, a bigger faucet and a nice tittle name

other motivations are a good idea, but yet to be implemented
