621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is done on: August 15, 2018, 04:27:32 PM
If ethereum will be over then it is not us who will have the final and official  announcement. So far, for now  I just wanted to listen and read some bits of information from the internet.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: August 15, 2018, 01:28:12 PM
It would be good to set stop loss in case of dropping prices. Though there is a significant loss even with just that of selling in a price lower but on the other hand holding your money and buying back again at a lower price maybe or could be a gain in terms of crypto value. And if should price will again go up it will surely be an advantage than when you buy at a higher price.
623  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 14, 2018, 05:32:40 PM
If we will accept that cryptocurrency will replace fiat, how will the government control its value so that there will be stability in a country's economy. I think we really need fiat beside cryptocurrency for a more progressive future. Thank you !
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: August 14, 2018, 04:48:42 PM
Litecoin is also another potential coin and I would agree that it does have a chance at beating bitcoin. But I would say it has to beat the second top coin which is as of now ethereum. So far many have good feedback about litecoin.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: August 14, 2018, 12:44:29 PM
I think real estate would be a good way to invest money aside from cryptocurrencies. I think real estate doesn't just go on dropping in price but rather it goes up with time and loses isn't always that expected except good returns as need open arise each time the more people lives in an area.
626  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: August 13, 2018, 09:13:48 AM
If the prices hits the bottom for altcoins and bitcoin, maybe I will buy. If this is not the possible bottom yet I will wait for the time where coins will be rising up again to make sure that I will be gaining later. It is hard to predict but at least you have selected the smallest price for buying and a higher price for selling the coins.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: August 13, 2018, 08:32:50 AM
Anything you do in business would be a risk if involves money. Gaining in crypto is almost similar to business but even more risky because of its volatility and may result in losing maybe more than half of your money as I have heard from an investors who posted here. So careful financial management must be considered before taking the risks. And I would agree that cryptocurrency is for risk-takers.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: August 12, 2018, 09:38:04 AM
We have a lot of problem this year and predicting when will the fall of this market ends is very hard to do that even professionals fail. Maybe more usage would be necessary to make it go up in value again and I haven't heard about businesses using cryptocurrency as payments. And because of this there would be a lot of trouble in the market which will also cause investors to flee the situation and sell most of there coins. Yet If all will have the trust back again maybe a sudden rise will be expected.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: August 12, 2018, 08:42:50 AM
As a totality maybe bitcoin failed on that part and many would agree on you. This is because of the stability issues where bitcoin is known for its volatility. But there are also aspects where bitcoin might just be good at. For example as a payment system bitcoin might just be used but we do have limitations though as money paid should exchange immediately back to the fiat money as it could drop in its price. Maybe there is something to do here to solved this problem. But it is up to the brilliant minds of the originator or developer.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: August 11, 2018, 11:49:37 PM
I think the same as others here in this forum. Waves is not in anyway in competition with ethereum. Every coin is competing with each other and looking at the ranking on exchanges I didn't see waves getting closer to ethereum except ripple that is always following next. So for me it is not waves but maybe ripple.
631  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and Medicine in Africa on: August 11, 2018, 10:50:26 PM
It would be good for africa. We know that the country is struggling economically and most especially in health aspects and maybe such idea as this, which is so important to people, would benefit many.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Economy Grow Forever? on: August 10, 2018, 09:42:31 AM
Economy don't actually grow endless. All things has limits and the resources that we use where the economy relies will soon be depleted. Why is it that oil is making a country economically stable or unstable when its price go up? It is because these resources are really important and because it is used by many the country having these oils have become rich but if time comes it will be depleted those country will change drastically in terms of economic status. Instead of supplying other countries, may they will be the ones who will be supplied with oil and therefore will be using their income to buy the resources they need. So the seller will become the buyer which decrease their economic status not unless other sources of income will be available to compensate for this loss.
633  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: August 09, 2018, 02:30:00 PM
Well for me everything depends on how big the impact of bitcoin will be made in a certain country by people investing on it. In our country bitcoin had been so popular and too many curioius investors wanted to participate which is the reason why some are even drag to scams and even lost millions in our local currency. So I think because it is risky the government, especially the developed countries are regulating it to avoid economic instability.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: August 09, 2018, 11:27:01 AM
Banks do not have to worry much about the impact of cryptocurrencies to the entire community because it does not really affect that much to their customers savings or loans. People need real money each day to put up business or for whatever profitable reasons and they need real cash as starting capital and not just any cryptocurrency so I think banks will not consider crypto a real threat but a good addition to services in my opinion.
635  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US Dollar Too Volatile? on: August 08, 2018, 10:15:54 PM
I don't think so, and I am not accepting your idea of volatility as presented. While it is true that the US dollar might have change extremely in a span of ten years, consider also that there are events that could have happened during those years. I didn't do a lot of research but the year around 1910 to 1920 but that is the time when the economy might not be fairly well and there were a lot of chaos or civil war and unemployment most probably. When movies and other industries are doing good around 1930 to 1940 it did make a  rise to dollar but goes dropping again during the world war 2. And also notice that 10 years was a very long year to consider for the volatility. So I am not agreeing with you certainly.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: How does a decline U.S. Dollar can affect Crypto? on: August 07, 2018, 04:31:55 PM
I dont think cryptocurrency will replace dollar. The government controls dollar value for economic stability and cryptocurrency is something that can not be set easily. It has a system on its own which I think will block it from being used as a currency. Volatility is present that causes it not to be used easily. Gold and silver on the other hand are resources that may affect the value of dollar which could also be used as a currency. I think Gold is a bit stable but  carrying gold and silver anywhere is quite dangerous. I also believe that dollar may have an effect on the value of bitcoin because it is the currency that is used to buy it, so that should any crisis occur with the dollar, the volume of bitcoin may as well be lessen.
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US GOVERNMENT CONFISCATES IRANIAN BITCOIN HOLDER ASSETS on: August 07, 2018, 05:31:52 AM
Maybe there something in that account or the users of the account that could be a threat to their national security or economic stability.  I have heard the US is always been monitoring big amount of transaction like this one. We all know that cryptocurrency could be used for illegal activities since it can be exchange for money. I am not concluding though that it is true, but it is always their concern so whether it might be true or not, they will always be checking on accounts that could have stored such a big amount of money as this one.
638  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors that affects the value of bitcoin... on: August 06, 2018, 08:52:20 AM
You are definitely asking a very broad question. The idea about value of bitcoin is influenced or affected by too many factors. It may even be personal judgement or fear that could affect its value. But not considering everything the main idea would be that the demands for the coins increases its value as the supply of coins is also getting lesser in volume. This is the general basis not considering whatever reasons is in the background for the increase or decrease of the volume of coins.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin become obsolete? on: August 06, 2018, 05:16:23 AM
As of now and maybe somee 20 years I think bitcoin is not going to be obsolete yet. The reason is simple it has not been even made known to alot of people. Bitcoin has just started yet. And while bitcoin will have a good purpose or utility to the masses it will continur to be known until another system may come to overthrow it. But this is way too far from happening yet.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make cash without investing? on: August 06, 2018, 01:27:34 AM
Well it would be hard to earn more without investing. Maybe you just have to particpate in all sorts of bounties. If you don't want to spend money then give your service. But be warned sometimes bounties fail you earn nothing for hard work and it was sad for bounty hunters. So it is up to you now.
