Okay. Does developers have any deadline or expected period to deliver on wallet? Are we expecting it before year end, or January, or after the redemption period end (90 days)? within week?

Just not expecting an answer like 'Tuesday'! Cheesy

After the 24th we (Russians) go into a binge for 2 weeks, so January is better (in case if something goes wrong I need to be available).

Thanks for giving some clarity.

Enjoy holidays IOTA Team! CfB, David and Serguei. Smiley

We'll be working pretty much everyday, so it's not really holiday, think of it as less than 12-14 hour days Smiley
But thanks, and enjoy the holidays yourself!

Does this mean we can expect wallet release and possible exchange listing this year?  Smiley

January bro. January. You can exchange innovate post-blockchain quantum secure technology to Bitcoin. I'm rescanning that damn 30GB bitcoin blockchain for an hour.

What's next thing to do once the IOTA address starts showing here: http://188.138.57.93/ac

Send the money from the same BTC address.

It's sent already from both NXT and BTC account. The address is showing two times there. That's all for now?

What's next thing we are expecting/waiting? IOTA Wallet? Online or Offline ?

I think they are collecting public keys onto wich coins will be at genesis...
So after the procedure complete just wait official launch in January.

There is a boy who send 10 000 JINN, which is like 63BTC https://www.mynxt.info/transaction/12896754420028738317
JINN whales really JINN  Cheesy

Good catch. Incredible! I have just 10 Jinn - and keep them of course!

I wanna to share some of my thoughts.

First of all I don't feel anything about this whale, cause he/she really buy JINN tokens, thus support Triangle and development of JINN hardware CPU.

Secondly, IOTA may be the only "altcoin" which can survive in long term (5 - 10 years) cause it's planned to be preinstalled on JINN CPU and today competition is so crazy, that I'm not sure that even Ethereum will survive. The current trend is private blockchains, like a bank which develop or buy private blockchain tech for itself and don't care about Bitcoin. If IOTA indeed will become the standard IoT ledger - we win.

Thirdly, I have no doubt that in 5 - 10 years CIA/NSA/IBM will get its first, very very expansive quantum computer - just to crack other countries intelligence stuff. I don't want to store my money in Bitcoin in this case.

Are the last 2 transaction valid for the crowdsale?

https://blockchain.info/tx/e27d9cb32176cc2e9e711a43da55e7474d68a8c6e67670d4d67e1656bbf3cca9

they are sent @ 2015-12-21 23:37:19 and @ 2015-12-21 23:33:59

but the  Block #389582 is timed  2015-12-22 00:04. https://blockchain.info/block-index/1003801

I hope that we would escape this situation. The question is to CfB.
But I belive that to be consistent we need to refund this two transactions, cause we did not give bonus to:

I made the following transaction which shows the received time to be "2015-12-12 13:21:47" but the transaction confirmation happened later and block time seems to be  "2015-12-12 17:20:34 + 239 minutes".

Does this mean my transaction will not fall into the "early adopter" phase which ended on 2PM of the 12th?

I hope that is not the case since I made the transaction using the blockchain.info wallet where (I assume) the transaction time cannot be faked.

IOTA CROWDSALE IS OVER!

Congratulations to all participants and dev team!

Thanks for all the support guys! Early 2016 will be extremely interesting weeks and months for IOTA. We, as well as several others, got some really cool projects under development that will use IOTA. Plus we've already begun establishing contact with some of the biggest companies in the world that are banking on IoT. What we need post-sale is every activist and enthusiast to help us keep this momentum going!

Yeap, in first weeks after launch you have very active community full of enthusiasm which will do what you ask it for.
So it's very important to gain maximum traction/interest (especially outside bitcointalk.org). You see, enthusiasm of community is energy which you can set a direction to. It decreases overtime, so you should push marketing work during first weeks like crazy. One month after launch comminity will moves slower and people become sluggish.

I'm in.  I will help the project with all my abilities.  This will be the beginning of a new era.

Hello!   Smiley

You can greatly accelerate the marketing just by login your old account (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3) and wrote that iota is intresting project. Thank you  Smiley.

632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: December 21, 2015, 06:19:25 PM
After thinking about how the test should be conducted an idea came to my mind. What if the testnet becomes more popular than the mainnet? And those who didn't purchase the iotas will run their own competing version. Due to the first mover advantage they will increase their odds of world-wide adoption. Any suggestions how to solve this issue?

About the test net: just send the participiants no more then 10 nanoiotas, thus you will be able to test transactions, but iotas will be not usable in real cases cause it will be not divisible to the proper extent.

The problem is a forks: I already image UtopianFuture suckpoppet creating thread about "Iota fork but with fair destribution", as he done for NXT with NEM and for Qora with Kora.

Launch without testnet.

Never had any problems with Poloniex.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: December 18, 2015, 06:42:04 PM
In short, you may need to roll your own toJSONString() method (or methods) for your base-type(s) and then convert your Map<string, object> to a Map<string, string> and then just call any standard toJSON(...) call for Maps.

It's a standard way of doing such tasks but if I add all this syntactic sugar it will occupy 30% of all code LOL.

You can move this additional code to external library.

635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA Crowdsale on: December 18, 2015, 12:27:26 AM
Can someone please clarify this for me?

Yes, cause you set a very low fee as 0.0001 and not 0.0005 your transaction confirmed later and you lost "early adopter" bonus.
The good news is that IOTA will not have such a "fees" at all.

IOTA has been accepted into Wanxiang's Blockchain Lab grant programme: http://www.blockchainlabs.org/blockgrant-x-en/

Wow, excellent congratulation for the 4.000 USD. And look at the compeditors, well done!

CfB: I have a dynamic IP and not a lot of knowledge how to set up an Node. I'm just the average joe. But if there would be some advice "setting up a IOTA-Node for dummies" I can probably help, because it's in my own interest as investor.

Exactly the same three colors as on CFB-s avatar.

CfBs avatar has 4 colors. Tongue

You you look you'll notice that the color of 999'999'999 is more "white" then other white parts. So its the same 4 colors.
