Has anyone had any success with the Ubuntu wallet for Worldcoin? I downloaded the qt-linux-opensource-1.4.0-2-x86-online.run but what do I do with this file? It won't run, I let Ubuntu find an application to deal with it and I ended up creating a "parchive". What the hell? Thanks for any help!!!!

Yeah give him some time. I am in IT as well, and nothing ticks me off more when trying to deal with a huge problem then having to deal with piles of people calling in to let me know what I already know.
When something big goes down you can either have the people that can resolve the problem do 2 things. Actually spend their time fixing the problem, and saying F the clients. Or do what everyone seems to think is important, by having them waste 95% of their time talking to everyone to assure them they are working on the problem, when in reality, they can't spend a single moment fixing anything because they are busy talking to everyone. I will always vote for letting them deal with fixing the problem. And yes, I did have a few transactions held up as well. They finally made it out, took 2-3 days but I wasn't calling for anyone head.
People have to realize one thing. If Cryptsy goes down because people start calling regulators, then eventually there won't be anyplace to trade anything but BTC and LTC. The way the huge BTC markets go down constantly, we might not have any exchanges open to trade.
Or maybe getting regulators involved will let them know that this is serious and they should be paying attention to the people who pay their bills- the customer. It's nice that your IT philosophy is to let the people who depend on you twisting in the wind, but it doesn't make for good business.

I filed mine online. It is a breeze.

I did the online filing. Takes maybe 4 minutes?

All we ask is a little bit of communication.

Sad, but I am afraid this is the most logical explanation.

Of course while I wait for these people to sort it all out, the coin I was planning to buy with my deposit (still not there) just goes up, and up, and up. Has anyone asked for compensation in cases like this with Cryptsy? Or are you just so glad to finally see your money that you forgive it out of the kindness of your heart?

Still nothing from support and nothing shows in my account.

Everytime Cryptsy has ever struggled with new influx of users or a BTC crash, I have lost a couple coins here and there. Every single time they have taken the time to audit my account personally and return every coin missing.
They're very nice people working very hard so we can trade. Their job gets tough sometimes.
I sincerely hope this is the case. These guys are taking on a huge task dealing with alt coins, and are defiantly feeling the growing pains. I hope they get everything resolved, but I think it might be time to pull the plug on the site and starting auditing whilst building infrastructure. Cryptsy, the community thanks you for your services, but I think we all would understand if you had to shut down for a period of time to sort these matters out... well not close down exactly but halt all trades for now and get the site stable. Can I get an "amen" to that?

NOT last night. This is an ongoing problem.

What is up with Cryptsy.com that after 9 confirmations the bitcoins still don't show up in my account? I mean, this shit is automated, right- there aren't little people inside the website writing my balances on a chalkboard.
Ha its almost worth the mess that is cryptsy right now just for that statement. Thank you for making me laugh. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Yep same here about 14 hours ago I posted some trades and all my coins are gone. They need to stop trades long enough to fix issue.
I agree, the site is broken halt all trades and fix it first. Hire some tech people to assist because it is obvious they can't fix it or would have done so by now. Just coping with all the tickets is wasting resources. It sounds so simple, doesn't it? It's broken, so fix it. Stop pretending that nothing is wrong- we aren't fooled at all. Idiots.
