621  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: October 30, 2023, 08:51:44 AM
The one thing that keeps me going is the thoughts about tomorrow, I have always think more about tomorrow than the present because this is what wakes the awareness in me and get me prepared for tomorrow, all what I have achieved today is because of how good I am in preparing for tomorrow, I used to tell my siblings that whatever you want to do it's not always about today, erase the present and plan towards tomorrow, some plans starts today and you won't see the result until later in the future and such plans are always better than quick results that majority of people in this world today are looking for.

Human needs are endless because we can never feel contented with what we have, some people chooses to avoid preparing for the future because they are satisfied with what they have, they don't have any goals they are chasing and they look more younger and healthier than those chasing dreams, but people who think this way are not many in the world today, I am not saying it's the right thing to do but some people found peace doing so.

If you hear some words from the mouth of Shaolin monks in China you will realize that some people already gave up on the desires of things in life, the are so peaceful and care less about having some money or increasing their worth, I could decide to be like them but I don't want to go on that path, because I have a different mindset when I was growing up, all I am saying is some people found the real peace and they don't care about needs and desires.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: October 30, 2023, 07:22:57 AM
It's greed, if it's me I would have cash out and enjoy my win, I don't know why people go extra lent on something that they don't sweat on, this is free money we are talking about, the fact is nothing is free and that's why gambling seems hard, because we are all chasing free money, this isn't going to come easily compare to chasing life goals through hard working, this is why many gamblers always lose, because they are chasing free money.

Even after they win they still believe there is more, I don't know where they get their minds, hoping from something they break no single sweat on, when free money comes you take it with no complains, been greedy on free money is the most stupid thing anyone can do.

He is lucky this time but I am sure with the mindset he carries around he will be in trouble sooner or later, this method ain't going to last for him, he is a good example of a greedy gambler, they always learn after everything that's related to their gambling strategy goes against them.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: October 30, 2023, 06:51:14 AM
I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?

How would you judge someone who says they don't gamble because it's fun, is that a sign of a gambling addiction?

If you are making $600 a day, that's $20000 in a month, and because you are only you start having interest to gamble, what do you think this is?

All these questions is been asked because someone close said all these and I think he are losing money and losing himself too, of all the discussions we had, these are the points I held unto.

Later he open up to have been using $500 for gambling per day, he said all these started when his wife left him, that he isn't into gambling at all, but I can't ask why his wife left him in the first place, but does loneliness make people become addicted to gambling or it's something else.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 29, 2023, 11:20:25 AM
I am not in my twenties and my mother is very old, I don't think it's cool to tell them that I am into gambling when they know that I am all about Bitcoin investment, even before my father passed away he always told me to never gamble and I did honor it, because I never had interest until I get to know that gambling is now available online, I don't want my mother to start getting wrong thoughts about me or put her in a position where she is uncomfortable with what I am doing.

If you are a responsible gambler you don't need to tell them that you are gambling, even if you turn into an addict it's better to seek help else where, I am staying this because all I have now is my mother and she is old, if your parent are still under 60 and you need help, maybe you are the only child and no one help can help you then you can involve them, but for me its a big no.

The reason why people get assictwd to gambling is obviously their own desires and goals they have built in mind to make from gambling, you aren't working on anything, you aren't building something for the world to consume or use, so it makes no sense to expect gambling to turn things around for you, I know few people are lucky and that's the thing, once you get luck you have increase your confidence in gambling.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think if you have a lot of money its hard to satisfy your ego in gambling on: October 29, 2023, 10:13:10 AM
Once a gambler is always a gambler is the case of you making a fortune from gambling, it's easier to quit if you aren't making money and it's more possible to get addicted once you make a win, so my answer to your question is if you make a fortune through gambling you are still in the clutch of gambling, you will always make a comeback, I feared this part in gambling because this means your gambling lifestyle can one day take it all back from you.

If you make a lot of money from other sources that's not gambling related you will take gambling as less addicting compare to someone who makes all his biggest money from gambling, it's a never ending rollercoaster, it takes will and discipline to escape that gambling feeling, that feeling of wanting more is very dangerous.

Like I always advice my younger ones, to choose their source of income or source of making money wisely, because the moment you begins it start becoming a part of you, even our businesses becomes a part of us, that's why you will see some elder people whom business are not good anymore but find it hard to switch into another, they are already used to the old business and it's become a part of them, so be careful what you choose to be a part of you.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 29, 2023, 09:15:08 AM
You are in a very tight position OP, you planning to invest in Bitcoin is going to be very hard for you, because you are not making any money one way or the others it's better to learn skills right now, find ways you can make money first before thinking about investment,  at your present age I believe you have the time to learn a lot of things, I did the same when I wasn't making any money, I was living with my parents and I found Bitcoin back in 2016, I took my time to learn everything about Bitcoin and crypto, it's because I was still young and I have no responsibilities at all.

That's why I said you have all the time right now, you can look for some skills to learn around crypto world, trading is a good one and coding too, just take your time to do some research you can find a niche in crypto space that's interesting to you and start from there.

Many people who don't have anything that's bringing them money forced their way into Bitcoin investment, two guys from my city also did the same thing, today they aren't holding any Bitcoin because they are tired, they are jobless and they decide to take my advice less seriously, I told them to look for job first but they make me seem like I don't want to teach them and I did, now they know why I was hesitant in the first place, investment is not going to be fun if you are not earning money monthly.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anti-Gambling Tools on: October 29, 2023, 08:40:32 AM
So, here's the deal. I've been into crypto gambling, and I've realized that, despite my best intentions, it's a bit tough to control the urge. I've tried the self-exclusion route in the past, but it seems some crypto casinos still find a way to let me back in.

I know I've got an issue, and I've accepted that. Now, my goal is to manage it better and avoid any unnecessary damage to my finances.

I'm curious if any of you have faced a similar situation and if there are tools or methods you've found effective in controlling crypto gambling. It feels like most platforms lack daily limits or deposit controls, making it a bit challenging to stay on track.

Would really appreciate any advice or recommendations from those who've been through something similar.
What you are looking for is anti gambling tools? You aren't going to find it because they don't exists, the only person that can stop this addict is you, make up your mind and stay away from gambling for a long period of time, when your expectations are high from gambling this is the end result you will get ( addiction ). It's better to quit for now and go back to your job or other good source of income, I have figured out that the expectations people have from gambling is what put them in trouble.

See gambling doesn't exists to take care of the poor, it's not a way for the poor to escape their financial problems, it's just like the banking system,  every little charges they take from each individual account is worth millions every month, even if it's just under $1, because these things are dealing with a large amount of people, it's total gain for them, and that's same with gambling, they put you up with your luck, they understand how small the chances you have are and they plan to make money from it while you are hoping to become rich with gambling.

The moment you decide to open your mind into what gambling really is that will be the day you will rescue yourself from gambling addiction, this fact is very hard to accept by gamblers, not until they have spent years of trying over and over with nothing to show for it, to me it's easy because I always follow the principles of life, do not expect to reap rewards when you don't sow anything.
628  Economy / Gambling / Re: Evolution — report for Q3 (HOW THEY EARN THAT MUCH?) on: October 28, 2023, 11:51:43 AM
In the world of gambling who do you think wins the most? The casino of cos, many people are not even thinking and that's a shame, you the gambler is the one at risk, placing bet on the future prediction, either in slots or sports bets, but what risk is there for the house? That you might win? Ok accepted, but do you know how many gamblers visits the casino per day? The number is big, and where there is large number of people is where real money can be made.

A hundred thousand gambler risking $1 per day is still 100k in one day and it's impossible for all of them to win, like this is just natural, they are placing bets on something they can't see, this is why I consider gambling to be very risky.

Tell me, how won't the casinos get rich? They will be rich in no time, this is the fastest way to get rich if you can do it right, casinos that failed lack so much or they never meant business thats why they failed, if you want to get rich build a casino and deliver the best service, you will see how money flows in, I don't doubt casinos, they make money.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spirituality and Betting - Do they Have any Connection? on: October 28, 2023, 10:09:52 AM
I have seen too many voodoo practitioners failing even when they are so sure that the outcome will be the way they predicted, even witches do fail too, it shows that they are not the master of time and the future, the almighty is one and no man or gods possessed the same power.

Gambling can easily wreck havoc on humans that's why Jesus never likes gambling, it's a sin because it messed people up, if you say no it's because you don't cherish yourself as a temple of God, maybe because you have used your body to your own taste so you don't care, gambling makes you less religious because you start believing in something else, or even probably nothing.

You can't be religious and be a gambler at the same times the more I think about this the more it makes a lot of sense, you can try it too, unless you don't just have the knowledge and understanding, nobody owns tomorrow, stop trying to be a god like, you will fail miserably.

The possibility of what gambling can cause is what I am most feared of, I guess that's why in the Bible the son of God was against it, gambling easily leads to losing yourself and losing yourself easily leads to making bad decisions, and this comes with lots of sins, you are in debt and under pressure, you will likely do anything to pay back the money.
630  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Help with cloud mining please! on: October 28, 2023, 09:07:55 AM
Hi
How about crepto tab
It is scam???
I don’t think this is a scam, because the browser is working, but on weak processors, mining will give a few cents of profit per day, and a lot of electricity will be spent. Even if this is a working computer, there is little profit here either.
If you are interested in mining on processors, then check out these statistics on popular processors for mining.
https://hashrate.no/cpus
Cryptotab browser wasn't meant to be a scam but if it is then so be it, anything is possible in crypto space, if they aren't paying up it means they are done with been faithful to their users, till this day many new cloud projects are still coming up, not necessarily cloud mining but also cloud storage, I knew like two since 2018 and they are woefully a failure, back to cloud mining, I believe they are all scams.

It's obvious because mining is all about calculations, you need certain hardware to start mining and it will get to a point where they become obsolete, also another factor is mining difficulty, as more new miners are direct to Bitcoin mining it becomes very hard to mine, and also less profitable, so cloud mining is now -99% profitable, how will someone now create a graphical detailed website for cloud mining and you believe them?

Cloud mining is dead since 2018 bear market, everything changed at that time, and Bitcoin became more popular compare to 2013 when it was easier to mine, if you see a running cloud mining today it's either they are on brand new PoW coins or they are scam if they talk about Bitcoin mining.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 28, 2023, 08:09:19 AM
If you aren't going to gamble with all the money why deposit on a casino? You don't have to deposit large amount of money to make your bankroll looks fat or anything, there is no reward for doing so, even deposit rewards now are not possible until you place some bets first.

I believe that the lower you risk your money the higher your chance of winning, I prefer to see me win than using a large amount to gamble because you want to win millions at once, if I have use $5 to gamble in ten days it's $50, compare to some one who wants to use the whole $50 to place bet at once because they plan to win millions.

This is the best winning strategy I can think of, lower the amount you are risking,  you can't tell when or if your luck is near, it can be five times far away, but the money which you should have spread out and gamble per day has been used on a single day, it means you just shut the door on your luck and throw the key into the river.
632  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Something dangerous we do when using Binance P2P platform on: October 26, 2023, 05:50:41 AM
I think converting Bitcoin or crypto currency to fiat currency always involves some privacy violation.

I think I would agree with you in this particular aspect. When making payment, definitely one would make payment with buyer and seller account names revealed which one can easily trace them from. P2P can only be okay when it comes to the buyer and seller location from different places for which they have no contact but their names revealed which means their identity been revealed. This alone tells that p2p have some privacy violation too.

I am not seeing any problem with the P2P service Binance providing even though you can not see your buyers or sellers name or identity. If the seller doesn't want to release the funds after you make the payments then appeal to the exchange with proof they will take a look at it and if your data is correct they will hand over the funds to you not to the seller. So I think it's simple and secure to use this kind of service on an exchange like binance.

That's the good thing with binance p2p, if you have complaints, you can easily file as they have buttons to report your tx.
And if you happen to use their p2p services, it means, you agree with the terms and conditions attached to it.
This is why if you have privacy issues, then, don't use this type of trading. However, it is hard to find trustworthy p2p services these days.
You can't avoid such privacy concern because it is hard to send funds to someone if you don't know their name and acct number, if you opt to send it to your bank account for instance.

One thing about Binance P2P service is you can't get scammed, I have been scammed using a p2p website before and the customer services don't helps instead they supported the criminal that I was paid with, since that day I was scared to use any P2P services, until I started using Binance exchange, the way they handle transactions is very well planned.

If you don't worry about privacy I don't think there is another exchange that's better than binance exchange peer to peer service, I have used Luno and Kucoin in the past too but the feel of security is not like Binance, it's true that Binance is centralized, but securing my transaction is what they do really well.

About what OP is talking about, not all those who asked for phone numbers plan to take advantage of you, they want your number to alert you to release fund when you get your money credited to your account, have none of you on a single transaction for over 24hours? Especially when there is a network issue with your banks, so I don't really think it's wrong, but this is a matter of choice, you are free to say no to submitting your numbers.
633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First bull run - how to not sell too early? on: October 25, 2023, 09:02:27 AM
Some people have the right tools for tracking the top and the bottom of the market and they have been using such tools for years, I know these tools are subscription based, maybe monthly or so that's why they aren't available for millions out there, also if its widely available, how will they make profit out of others because all decisions will be the same.

There is one I know called blocknode or something similar, where it display the top of the market and the bottom, it's very accurate as it shows the past market cycle too, I believe this isn't any form of prediction, it's too accurate.

For average investors that don't have the right tools it's better to make up your minds and think about what you want in this market, a 10x or 30x? Then work accordingly to making that dream come true, normally I don't expect more than a 5x from Bitcoin, so I will be taking profit from that range, or even under, but for altcoins I will definitely be making more, since you will have more than one asset in your wallet, you can decide to take profit starting from every 10x es.

You can leave some for 20x profit taking and so on, just have a strategy before bull market gets here.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 25, 2023, 08:09:04 AM
By not gambling at all, this is the only way to protect your privacy in gambling, because for the safety of gamblers we need to use a regulated casino for our good, you aren't safe either if you start using any casino that promised you that no form of verification will be carried out.

Trust me, such casinos are capable of doing anything they like because asking for KYC is an act of legal operation, nothing makes sense than a casino having the appropriate license, before you make deposit on any casinos you must be certain that they follow the regulations or else your money isn't safe either, not even your information is protected.

If you crave for privacy when gambling, use crypto for your bets and use a well regulated casino, if you don't like KYC do not gamble, find something else to do, but if you don't care about your privacy and information, you can use any casino you see, including those that don't need your KYC.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 25, 2023, 07:24:47 AM
That is why gambling sites want their players to wager first before they can get out. It's because of this kind of activity that some people would like to wash their money through them and just get out with the same money as they deposited. I think that's the term for it "washed money". They need to clean it up especially if those bills are marked or should've been listed somewhere else.
There's a movie about this "Den of Thieves" where the money they will try to steal are those that will be shredded and so it is clean money. It's not about gambling but it's a good explanation of why people are trying to wash their money and the evil ones trying to get the cash that is already in circulation in exchange for their unclean ones.
Gambling is illegal if not registered in one country because there's no way they can regulate it and if cash is flowing there without the government tracking it then they might arrest innocent people who will be holding those illegal money without knowledge about it.
Nice write up legend, I believe this point is all about casinos that have locations, there is no form of clean cash or dirty money when you are running or using a online casino, correct me if I am wrong?

Been fairly and safely treated is one of the reasons why online casinos must be regulated and also all online casinos must be compliant with the laws of their operation jurisdiction and they must also engage in ethical practices.

This is why I don't have trust in online casinos that aren't regulated and one of the ways I sometimes suspect a casino is when they don't ask for KYC at all, it's hard for the law to stop rouge online casinos but as the customers we also need to remember how important it is to use a regulated casino instead, it's for our own safety.

A rouge online casino is more likely to be involved in illegal activities more than those online casinos that are regulated.
636  Other / Archival / Re: CEO of Stake.com (Eddie Craven) Found Decapitated In Home on: October 25, 2023, 06:47:29 AM
I can understand how rageous this person must have been for the denial of their withdrawal from stake platform but this action is a bit too far, it could be considered a life threatening situation, and the law will be forced to go on hunting after those who are behind this mess, like why would anyone went this far?

The crazy thing is stake don't just deny you from withdrawing on their platform, something must have happened that make them do that, stake is one of the most trusted online gambling platform out there and they are always transparent more than every other casinos.

This online casino is also one of the few ones that don't deny you after winning several times in a role on their platform, some others will block you off their platform for winning several times but not stake. This is not funny at all as I don't understand what this maniac plan to get out of this, it will just caused a manhunt on him or whoever they are.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cross addictions is Just as Bad. on: October 24, 2023, 10:40:21 AM
Addiction to video game is much more better.

There is no slightest form of panic in you, as there is nothing to lose here, spending a certain amount on games every month makes sense because if it's costing you just $20 and you are making a lot more than this amount, why not? We only life once.

Playing video games only turn addiction if you can't drop the pad and go to work, sitting in front of your monitor or TV all day is signs of irresponsible person.

I know some guys in the U.S Illinios, they are hard working and very responsible, one is taking care of their grand mother till date and he isn't the only child of his family, these guys are hardcore gamers, and they don't joke with their life, savings and investments, see? You deserve to have all the fun you can get while grinding hard.

A famous musician once said that " Work hard and Play hard". You won't always be here.
638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much money can you make by investing in Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2023, 09:41:09 AM
Maybe 5x or a bit more, nobody knows but I don't do depend heavily on Bitcoinn because the return is much lower compare to other crypto projects that's why I diversify my money into other projects too, even if I can make a 20x I am good with it, only the big whales are going to make a lot of money from Bitcoin, not someone like me who can't afford one Bitcoin.

Right now Bitcoin is pumping, it seems we already hit the bottom of 15k months back and people are still looking forward to 10k Btc, I don't think it will happen and still I advice against rushing after green candles, now isn't a good time to start buying, so it's possible that retracement will take over soon.

If you know how to do good research it's better to look into other good assets too, they will be more profitable than Bitcoin, find different asset class in crypto and pick, from really world asset to artificial intelligence and also Layer 1 projects.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 24, 2023, 08:05:00 AM
Not just in gambling world only, anything the streamers around the world offers are been sponsored, this is how they make their own money, if you are the type that believes in things easily you will be filled easily, I don't always believe such entertainments because it's fill with lies and staged games.

Most streamers gets paid by bringing in people to the casino, they have only one goal, to influence many people as possible and that is what increase their paycheck.

Avoid them and gamble within your limits, use only trusted gambling platforms and leave the rest, some reputable casinos use streamers also and that doesn't make them bad but be careful when picking your online casino.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 24, 2023, 07:25:16 AM
It's gambling not a job, so yes I will leave gambling if my partner tell me to do so, I will only have problem with my partner if they tell me to quit my job when it's a paying job and not illegal, it's not as if I keep winning in gambling anyways so for me it will be easier to quit gambling.

Those who will have problem with this question are gambling addicts, they choose gambling first over every other things, and it takes a long time for them to learn, I choose to be happy and always smiling, so my gambling activities is based on me enjoying myself, since many gamblers are into gambling for constant money we aren't on the same path.

If you are addicted to gambling you will never be in fun mood when gambling, because you aren't there to have some fun, you are into gambling to make life changing money, and there are millions of people chasing the same goal, it's never going to happen with ease.
