621  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC approves BlackRock's spot bitcoin ETF on: October 20, 2023, 12:33:48 PM
Even if the ETFs get approval it's still not a big win for retailers and investors in general, it is going to get ugly after this coming bull market, I am saying this because of Black Rock, by that time they will now tell people which asset is better to invest into than others, ETFs of cos and also they will take over the whole crypto market, am I the only reader of Black Rock past history on here?

Whatever Black Rock gets involved with always get trampled on by these organization, anyway maybe I am wrong but I am not willing to bet on being wrong, since this power organization is involved, I am so sure of it that all ETFs will get approved and this will start the next bull market hype, let's enjoy it while it last and do not forget to take profit.

I have my doubts that the opportunity today will be available in the crypto space by the next bear market, all because of all these ETFs and that of Black Rock out of all others.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: October 20, 2023, 11:24:12 AM
If you know how tricky this life can be you won't be surprise that those who don't have the same skills as you are surpassing you in all ways, there is more to success and life in general, do you know that seeing people who aren't up to your standard when it comes to skills field doing better than you can make you start getting jealous? This happened between a closed friend and I and this was how we separated.

I started crypto years ago when no one gives a heck, when they saw me going through hell to get better in trading and crypto mining they laughed at me, and it get to a point where my closest friend start losing hope in me, I tried to teach him but he doesn't want to end up like me, that's how I felt.

He shunned me away and I stop telling him stuffs, the country condition wasn't as bad as it is today, so he believed in his studies, and since I am not into degrees anymore it felt like I was on the wrong path, later everyone knew that I have changed, I got some properties cars and so on then instead of saying sorry he choose to compete, I am not ready to go deep about what happened later but he gave up and came back to me, to make amendments.

I am not happy about his present condition and I am ready to teach him trading and also about Bitcoin investment, he chooses to study hard and become a successful guy, and I choose to learn the power of block chain and trading. He now depends on the government salary which isn't even enough for a single person who isn't married, I am not shaming my friend I am just saying that you will never know what the future will bring, be open to any skills and opportunity even if you believe in the present one you are doing.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 20, 2023, 09:36:04 AM
If they deserve it why not? The worth of some rings are worth up to 1 BTC because they are made of Gold and other precious stones, so it depends on if the wife was already a crypto fan, because it won't make sense to gift someone Bitcoin when they don't know anything about it, they won't feel appreciative like they should be cause they don't know what they just got.

Also I think I won't be doing this if I am in your shoe, even mentioning Bitcoin at my wedding event while be scary because I don't what people to know that I am into crypto, if you want to gift your love ones something this valuable its better you do it in a private space.

It's going to be a hell of good gift is she knew what Bitcoin is all about, I mean some couples still keep their gifts they received from their partners on their wedding day, like some kind of unforgettable memories so it's not bad idea at all, just do it privately.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To protect consumers, Australia has introduced new regulations for cryptocurrenc on: October 19, 2023, 04:47:57 PM
Regulation will protect some certain numbers of people that only want to be protected from scam crypto exchanges and projects but they won't be able to be useful for others who cares more about decentralization, the hate on Bitcoin started because it's decentralized, and the only way the government can be in power is buying every piece and this is why I feel this next bull market might be the last best, Blackrock coming into crypto will make every juicer things in crypto become saturated, few years later crypto will be in the palm of Blackrock.

They can't control Bitcoin, and they want to, now we have ETFs, the whole crypto game is going to change in the next few years, I strongly believe in this, I do not believe that any government have the best interest of people at mind, they aren't benefitting from crypto so yes they can pretend to be fighting for the people.

The biggest robbers of poor people are the governments, when they are benefiting from anything, even if it's the most evil thing, they will heavily protect that thing, at this state there won't be any good or bad sides, I don't need any protection from the government, decentralization is the only chain breaker from the governments controls and monitoring.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a Threat and BTC leads on: October 19, 2023, 11:40:29 AM
Crypto is no more banned in Nigeria, remove that from your list as I am very certain that this isn't happening in the country anymore, I am not sure about the rest on your list but I am hundred percent sure about Nigeria.

These countries are trying to protect their citizens from something they don't understand, it's like aliens visiting the mother earth and they never meant no harm but humans sees them as threat and they start attacking them.

It's only a matter of time for people to realize that they are been protect from crypto not because it's a threat to them but because it's a way to break the chains from government control and also their money slavery system.

They claimed that crypto is a threat to national security but not casinos? There are programs for the governments that have ruined peoples lives and these governments still allow these programs to run, they also certified them, nonsense, if people are financially free how will the government wrapped their hands around their necks? They are not going to like it anyway.
626  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Few solo mining questions on: October 19, 2023, 10:07:33 AM
You are looking for a pool website that just solved a solo block to encourage your mining journey? I don't know how this will help because just because a solo mine was solved on a pool doesn't mean you will be lucky on the same pool, do not worry yourself, just find a popular bitcoin mining pool and connect your asic miner, since you have a long term goal you will be fine.

I suggest you leave things at default settings and let the asic do its thing, you claimed you as ready to do this for long, how long are we talking about?

Visit CKpool itself and pretend as if you want to connect your miner, you will be given different server location, USA and others should be present there.

Every miners always want to be sure that they are on the fastest server I get it, you can use this to do your thing. https://stratu.ms/latency-check
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Bitcoin investment time on: October 19, 2023, 08:52:59 AM
Bitcoin is not for everyone, if you need money fast to rescue yourself from financial difficulties Bitcoin isn't the answer, you need a job and start making some income every month, do not come near Bitcoin if you don't have a job unless you aren't a man with some responsibility

I was able to survive the faucets and raindrop journey in my parents house because I was been feed by them everytime, I was not lacking a lot and all I have in mind is to build a strong foundation with Bitcoin, I was able to do it successfully because of my parents help and I am glad it paid off very well.

If you already have a family to look after, a wife or a husband,  what you need isn't Bitcoin because its a long journey to start making money off Bitcoin, what you need is a job or start up a business, investments are only good when you are able to take money out of your salary and put it into Bitcoin or other assets.

Today everyone is looking for a fast money grab, Bitcoin isn't going to provide that, it's a long term way of making money, most people don't have patience with investment because they are doing it wrong.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: A dog that vomited and then ate the vomit again on: October 18, 2023, 05:02:16 PM
Warren always be so cold on Bitcoin and crypto, calling it scam here and there, it's normal when you don't understand something to the core you know, how many people are like Warren in the past? For example Micheal Saylor also talk trash Bitcoin years ago too, there are others too that I couldn't remember their names anymore, what happened after? They realize their mistakes and slowly start learning about crypto.

Warren case is different because he is older and his style ways of earning money is from stocks and real estate, this was all he did his whole life, including Gold, but now comes digital gold? It's easier for who he was to call Bitcoin names honestly, anyone can also do the same.

If later Warren decide to embrace Bitcoin I won't be surprised, because he isn't the first and he isn't going to be the last too, so it's not something to hate him for, lack of understanding is always why people condemn Bitcoin.
629  Economy / Services / Re: Suppliers from China on: October 18, 2023, 04:12:23 PM
I so use aliexpress to buy some GPU's for mining and also some basic miners, but OP I am not so sure that I will buy such expensive things from you, because you are a newbie, I have my way to making contacts on aliexpress and it's very easy but I can't trust you because you have no past reviews from customers you sold some goods to.

If your products are available on alibaba or aliexpress you should give is the name of your store I will look into it and see what's up but a newbie account telling us that he is a suppliers from china?

You should know that both of these websites have escrow ways of releasing funds to seller after buyer get their goods in the same china, if not you can always get your refund from the website customer care but how is that going to work here? As a matter of fact you got nothing to lose, there isn't anything stopping you from taking cash and running away as you can always open a brand new account again.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am 19 years old boy living in South korea. Please give me an advice on: October 18, 2023, 10:03:08 AM
There are skills that you can apply to improve yourself and this will help you have more Bitcoin as time goes on, I am not saying you can't start DCAing into Bitcoin right now but since you are doing this from your pocket money makes me feel somehow.

Someone who relies on such money will fall for emotions when Bitcoin moves anyhow, I recommend you start reading about Bitcoin wallet, you can use this forum search engine to find good information about which wallets are safest for storing your Bitcoin.

Normally I believe that hardware wallet is the best if you can afford it but there are also other ways, so while you are dollar cosy averaging into Bitcoin find a crypto related skills you can learn, like trading and be focus on it for the long run, if you end up becoming a good trader you will have many more Bitcoin on the long run.

Trading is risky and that's why you don't have to rush it out, take your thing and learn slowly while you keep buying Bitcoin with your pocket money.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is different from other means of investment on: October 18, 2023, 08:59:38 AM
Even though some people will argue that Bitcoin was not created primarily as a means of investment, it has become obvious that Bitcoin presents a good investment opportunity. Many people even use Bitcoin as a hedge against fiat is plagued by inflation. One aspect that have created much argument is real estate with many saying it is more reliable than Bitcoin that they claim is risky.

I know several threads have been made in this regards with most of them moribund. I created this post because I feel so bad regarding what happened in my country. As you can see in this post and the video in it, the state government demolished an entire estate with several buildings and properties inside. This is peoples investment that just got destroyed. This was a property approved by previous administration but demolished by new government...another risk many people do not put into consideration in real estate and some other physical investments.  This is a confirmation that Bitcoin is safer and better than many conventional investment portfolios.

Anyone still doubting the freedom, comfort and peace that Bitcoin offers is probably yet to embrace reality.

What gives you the clarity that those properties are actually build where they are supposed to be build on? If you are ready to pay me bigger amount of money for lands that illegal to build anything on I could consider taking that money from you, and also people loves illegal things very much, they believe with money anything is possible but they don't know that it's completely foolishness to spend money on something that's not plain and pure.

Do not be too fast to talk trash about your government, if roads are meant to be build on that land then it's illegal, we are currently facing this problem in my street, some crazy people bought land and built houses on it and those spaces are meant for drainage and now we are facing issues when there is rain, there is no space for dirt water to flow by, I am just waiting for the government to come to the rescue and start demolishing those houses.

People are just so greedy, those lands are sold to them for cheap price and they don't consider that they are taking a big risk building the houses where as it's left for main road and water drainage, so I have nothing much to say about the link you drop, I know how people behaves when it comes to properties and building houses.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 17, 2023, 07:08:53 PM
Either ways it's up to you, depending on the situation of the investors, if they choose to sell all their Bitcoin it's not bad at all, assuming you buy 1 BTC for 28,000 in this bear market and you hold till Bitcoin reach 120,000 and you start taking profits, and you maintain your patience into the next bear market, maybe by 2026 then Bitcoin makes a new low around 20 or 30k and you buy back Bitcoin, you will have more Bitcoin than those that refuse to sell theirs.

Like I've said it's not a bad idea at all, which ever ways you decide to go is fine, profit making is profit making, not getting  any profits in return is the only bad part I see as an investor, I choose to sell all mine and wait for the next bear market, everyone is free to do whatever they want with their Bitcoin.

So far the past histories of Bitcoin bear market shows that Bitcoin always makes a new higher low, in 2020 it was 3,800 or less, I can't recall again, and this time it's 15k so far, maybe by match of 2024 Bitcoin finally make it down to 12k nobody knows.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Misleading Report on SEC Decision Shakes Bitcoin Market on: October 17, 2023, 06:09:28 PM
Its a positive sign that the ETF approval will cause bitcoin to spike up even more when they decide not to spread fake news anymore, I think this is all planned out to liquidate some people in the market again, Cointelegraph will just apologise and things will go back to it's old way like nothing happened, a minute of silent for all those who got liquidated by this fake news, I really feel your pain.

Manipulation like this will always show up in a bear market and that's where news have most impact on the market the most compare to a bull market, so be on the lookout as more manipulation like this will unfold, do not be too quick to react to news about crypto.

Cointelegraph is also ruining their reputation as this news was able go get the best of people because it's coming from Cointelegraph, most people instantly believe it without looking for another source, also Coinmarketcap skilled the same news as this was how I read it online before even knowing that it's originally from Cointelegraph.
634  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Help with cloud mining please! on: October 17, 2023, 05:22:28 PM
Hi everyone, I need a cloud mining service that is reliable, safe, and actually pays out. Can anyone recommend one, even if it's a paid service?
I hope you listen to people on her about this cloud mining thing, if anyone is telling you that you can earn with cloud mining today it's a scam as it's not profitable to run any cloud mining business anymore.

Years ago I joined four different types of cloud mining platforms,  one is called Genesi mining and the other is called Eobot, I can't remember the other two anymore, I make some money off them, because they constantly pay out weekly but it get to a point where they said they can't keep running the business because its not profitable anymore.

They closed down and announced it publicly, it shows how true these companies are until they quit, back then it's easier to mine Bitcoin and the difficultly isn't this big, CPu mining Bitcoin was very possible back then, and now outdated Asic miners are kings of Bitcoin miner back then.

We have come to this point where it's impossible for any cloud mining to make money off mining Bitcoin, if you any they are going to scam you, after Genesis mining quit so many new scam cloud mining platforms came up and they scammed a hell out of people.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was ripped off on: October 17, 2023, 04:40:37 PM
I sent a guy a down payment on a car. I use a program called Electrum. After I sent him the money I figured out I was being scammed. Do I have any recourse? Any way to recover my money?

I do have the guys wallet ID and the transaction ID.

Thankfully is was only 55.58663 mBTC
I am sorry for your loss and there is no way you can reverse this transaction, even if you have the address and transaction ID there is nothing anyone can do, this amount isn't even big enough to contact CZ for help, maybe to freeze the fund or something, I hope you learn because it looks like your complete fault.

Sorry to say but I want to know how you meet this person, how can you decide to pay for a car when you haven't meet the seller before? Who introduced you to him? How did you guys get in touch? You should have feel suspicious when he ask to get paid in BTC I believe.

Is this person running a website? If yes I think you should share the link so that we can try alerting others from falling into the same trap as you, Electrum is a bitcoin wallet just like the rest and they don't always have a way to refund a sent transaction, unless it's not confirmed yet, now it's already too late, next time make sure you do deals with genuine business men. Always do your research and ask questions before sending money to anyone.
636  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Approval: Fueling Bullish Momentum? on: October 16, 2023, 04:50:49 PM
It turned out to be fake, I almost long the market because I knew it would be a big pump but coming from Cointelegraph makes me halt, because this website is always filled with nonsense, mostly lies, I remember in 2020 when I was doing some research on new projects, this same Cointelegraph shilled some new projects and it ended up a scam, and I couldn't find the link to the project on their website anymore, I noticed they got rid of it so fast, there are also some projects that are not even listed on Binance exchbage but for the sake of creating FOMO they named Binance as one of the exchanges that the project will get listed on, later it turned into a different story, to cut this short Countelegraph can not be trusted, they have been doing this for so long and maybe many don't notice it, like 100M have been liquidated because of this fake news today, I escaped this because of my past experience with Cointelegraph.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about trading feature? on: October 16, 2023, 04:04:35 PM
Few new projects are basically existing because of this idea OP is talking about, for example a project called Guessonchain, I don't know if this project will survive but the idea of earning on your prediction makes it fun and even better than slots and poker games, because you aren't fighting your chances off the house in casinos, it's just you and your answers.

I do think it's a bit comparable to trading, since it's all about price action but it's still different, predicting on what Bitcoin value will be in the next 24 hours is not the same thing with using charts to follow price actions, you have the chart and the tools available, it's why gambling is a bit comparable to trading too but not exactly the same, since they don't work the same way.

Gambling requires your luck more than your skills and trading requires analysis and skills to beat the market and make money, I will always choose trading over gambling for this exact reason anytime.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs Ethereum VM to reach its full potential — Web3 exec on: October 16, 2023, 03:36:20 PM
It's hard for many people to accept gbs fact that Bitcoin can't be everything, this is why I am investing in other projects as well, Bitcoin is good as it is and doing more can open the door to centralized manipulation, I believe that is Ethereum was never a smart contract project and just have one thing, in particular, it will still be a successful project and I started hating on it when the team decides to leave proof of work for PoS, that's when I accepted that Ethereum is now fully centralized.

I honestly don't like how Bitcoin Ordinals are running on Bitcoin still, the BRC-20 idea is never meant to be live, I am just waiting for the bull market to prove some people wrong that having Ordinals on Bitcoin is a very bad idea, don't get me wrong, I like new ideas and if Ordinals become successful in the next bull market you will see how it will be near impossible to do any Bitcoin transaction for a long period until the Ordinals isn't hyping anymore.

Bitcoin is good just the way it is and it's purpose is to be a decentralized network that people can trust, it's less of a payment solution to me, it's useful for payment options too but the main goal was decentralization.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CZ's view on Halving on: October 15, 2023, 08:01:40 AM
Ok now this is getting serious, it seems people are now focused on the next Bitcoin halving as the start of the next rally, I believe it's not going to happen then since many people are too concerned about this time, CZ only used the past history and that doesn't mean the same will happen in 2024, I believe there will be a delay.

When people focus their minds on the same thing it doesn't always go as they plan, the market could crash even further after the halving and that will be nice to see because I will always be ready to take advantage of the dump.

Do not follow what people are saying, have your own plans in place, when loads of people go the left way you should go the right, be prepare for any possible future dumps, because it can be the biggest opportunity, way better than 15k we all called the bottom.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easy to trust someone? on: October 15, 2023, 07:00:43 AM
This quite reminds me of the discussion about why we should all drop our Bitcoin wallet to the ones we love so that it doesn't go to waste, do you really know that if your home is free of an enemy the enemies outside can't get you? When your family is full of bad people or people you just can't trust you should build a family, your own family, and have your children, if you can't trust your wife or husband you will have a kid you can at least trust.

I believe your ATM card pin should be safe with your partner if you trust them, or your kid if you trust them, it's all about trust just like you said and you have to make sure there is trust before taking any money step or you will be betrayed.

There are many rich men then died without letting their families get ahold of their money, they only left behind their properties for them, it's because they believed it would be the cause of hate and even wars within the family.

ATM PIN code should be private though, you don't have to share with anyone but if you see the need to do that it's fine, and that is if you trust the other person.
