The second ODI game was not held and not even single ball was played in pitch because of poor weather condition. If we compare past game condition then Afghanistan team have good opportunity to win this 2 nd game but unfortunately this was not played and in 1 st game, Afghanistan team played very brilliant and they made a good gaming strategy and also scored 310 runs target in 50 overs which was not bad. But Ireland team was played there batting lineup very slow and they played all 50 overs but did not chase 310 runs target and lost this game. We see some Batsman effort of Ireland was outstanding and better then Afghanistan team Batsman but only few ones. Next 3 rd game of this series will be held on Tuesday after two days let see Afghanistan team win this series or will tied this series.
The match was really challenging but due to weather it didn't held. It's sad for both teams because Afghanistan played well in the first match and set a tough target of 310 runs. Ireland lost the first game because they batted slowly even though some of their players did well. Karachi Kings team is performing very well towards the last. Today is the second ODI match between Afghanistan and Ireland. Afghanistan outstanding performance in the first ODI match winning by 35 runs and leading the series by 1-0. Directly or indirectly of course Bangladesh’s top orders batsman are responsible for losing this match. Liton Das getting out in 0 runs, Soumya Sarkar taken 12 runs, Nazmul Hasan Shanto 20 runs and Tawhid Hridoy only taken 8 runs, that means top 4 batsman taken 40 runs, it was very disappointing. So, definitely they're failed, if Bangladesh lost for 3 runs, so if the top orders batsman can take some runs then they can win easily.
I agree that the top order batsmen of Bangladesh played a crucial role in the team loss in the match. Scoring only 40 runs collectively is definitely disappointing and it put a lot of pressure on the rest of the team to make up for the lack of runs. If the top order batsmen had been able to contribute more runs the outcome of the match could have been different. And it's important for the top order batsmen to take responsibility and perform consistently in order for the team to succeed in future matches. It's great match to watch where Multan sultan continue his winning run to dominate the league points table while thier opponent Karachi hold bottom of the table and look like Karachi and Lahore will be out of the tournament according to current performance. If we look at score board Multan middle order batter Usman khan who was unfortunately unable to score his century in last match by four runs finally able to score his second century of PSL at that match against Karachi, while after Amir transfer thier bowling were not looking more challenging and tough in order to put any top batter in trouble and now after pollard absence especially at middle order really create difficulties for them and we can say if pollard were there definitely he will deliver huge and will get such important match.
I agree with you Multan Sultan is doing really well in the league. Usman Khan scored a lot of runs in the match against Karachi but he didn't quite make it to a century in the last match. Karachi bowling isn't as good since Amir left and Pollard not playing in the middle is hurting their team. Multan Sultan is a strong team and they are winning a lot.
