Al tawwoun making a come back, seems like they have a good run right now, i dont think this can last so much, but good for them.

I was seeing the Al Hilal stats and man, what a numbers they have, asides of the 0 defeats, they only allowed 3 goals in eight home games, truly amazing defensive performance.

Finally last round!!!!

The most exciting round of alls, at least for me, more than 16 round or even quarterfinals, i love the quantity of games in the last round and all the teams played for any, it can be a place in the next round or a place in the third position to go into conference.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 10, 2023, 04:50:54 PM
Atletico Madrid with a very narrow victory against one of the most weaker teams in the league, i dont know why they strugled so much against this kind of team, but a win in the end, and a needed win after losing against Barcelona in the previous gameweek.

With the drop of points from Real MAdrid, and maybe from Girona they are again in the fight.

I cant see the game yesterday between Besiktas and Fenerbahce, but for what youa re saying the refeeree was deeply involved in the way the game occur.

What a shit when that happen, it destroy the whole game, and more when is a derby, Fenerbahce has a better team but they need to become more solid in some areas.

For Liverpool the only good for them it was to become champions of this tournament, all below that ita can be considered as a failure for them. And they were champions of this before in the early Jurgen Kloop era, so they know how to make it asides of them already win one Champions League under Kloop management.

haha...that said...That $622 node/small miner is cool.
1tb disk seems enough for now (maybe for 4-5 years longer), but a question to those who run a node: is pruning to reduce the size OK to do once you downloaded the whole chain?
Thinking of starting running a node, at least from time to time.

i vote full non pruning node for several reasons:

the most time consuming thing is the initial blockchain download.. that could take weeks/months depending on your connection. why throw away data you may want later (for re scanning wallets etc)

you can run your own block explorer against your full node

you can run other wallets against your full node

you can rescan multiple wallet.dats you have with your full node

storage is cheap

That is the one thing that wasn't taken care of in the Bitcoin conception. Size of the blockchain.
Sure, storage is cheap (at the time), but if the BC gets to sizes that are no more manageable conveniently at the private level, and the initial blockchain download becomes so effin big that it takes months on a standard connection (let's say, for now... 50mbps or so), less and less private full nodes will be added to the  network, while the mining companies continue growing. In the end, a few big miners survive. I am thinking about slow, indirect movements towards decentralization.

I agree with you in the theoric part, but i dont know why you are thinking in that way, because as far as we see we are experiencing a revolution in speeds on connections and also in storage, 10 years ago we have only HDD for normal people and now we have such smalls and super fasters SDD, connections the same, ten or 15 years ago it was a miracle if 3G was connected at slow speed, now we have 5G and we can stream from whatever place we want.

So i think until the speed of the evolution in this things is faster than the weight of the blockchain is not even a real problem.

A derby is always important for the season, not only for the fans, but i had seen this behavior so many teams, in big and in small teams, some times win or losing the derby is a whole turn in the season, you can go from hell to heaven or from heaven to hell after that game, is a phiscologycal thing.

The main atraction in this season is gonna be if Ajax can recover the gap between them and the third spot.
For me seems like they are already wake up, and AZ is droping a lot of points, so maybe in the 3/4 of the season we can see Ajax surprasing them.

AZ Alkmaar has 30 points and Ajax 21 points. That's quite a difference in my opinion. Although Ajax won 4 of the last 5 matches and AZ Alkmaar lost a lot of points but I think we have to see a few more matches if Ajax can be consistent with their game.
I think Twente is still very strong this season. They will probably secure third place at the end of the season. For Ajax I think fourth or fifth is a fairly realistic target for now.

Nine points gap its not significant with more than a half tournament ahead, also that mid teams like AZ Alkmaar or Twente always lack some extra faith or force in final instance and they ended up crumbling against the pressure and start to lose some points against weak tams, so Ajax come back for me its quite possible until third position.

Guys its not healthy to follow the price of a token from a casino or a not so big token in the intradiary or intraweek, or even intramonth, you can see so much volatility or fluctation to the price like we see this week, but that doesnt significant any. So chill and enjoy.

Yesterday two not so big teams make some big victories, Damac against Al ittihad and Al hazem against Al Fateh, so maybe this is the round of the surprises and we can see another big teams losing some points. Until now Al Hilal keeps winning lets see how it ended.

Yeah i think the Manchester United fans are gonna see most the game in Copenaghe between Galatasaray and Copenaghe than the match between them and Bayern Munich.  Grin

They have a tiny expectation to go into round of 16, but we have one more chance, what if they ended in the last spot of the table? total shame.

For me the best thing about this Bullrun we are having is the BTC is going up by itself and the shitcoins are not going up so fast, so BTC relevance is better.

Obviusly the shitcoins are dragging up but not so much compared with others runs.

We are discounting the 10 january resolution about ETF? OR for what reason you think we have this run, before that happening.....  Buy the Rumour, Sell the News ??
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 07, 2023, 04:00:44 PM
Until now this season of the tournament is very divided by half, the top half of the tabble is for teams who spend a lot of money and have big stars coming from europe, and the bottom half, is for teams who doesnt expend so much money and are full of arabs players, and they seem only to be in the league to make number.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: December 07, 2023, 03:59:14 PM
Anyone knows who owns and what is the record of points in the Eredivisie history?. Because if PSV still in this path maybe they can broke some records, and that can be a very interesting thing to follow and catch for the team, to keep the concetration high when you see the second team far below.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 07, 2023, 03:55:13 PM
Villarreal was already qualified so, for them they dont have so much importance that game against Maccabi, for Macabi and Panathinaikos yes this have some wieght because they fight for that third spot to go at least into Conference league. And they play each other in the last round.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: December 06, 2023, 03:12:32 PM
PSV in champions seems to be having very big troubles in defense,i think is not a change in the way they play, its most like the quality of the teams in Champions make them pay every failure, and eredivisie that doesnt happen, for the lack of the offensive players in the teams.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 06, 2023, 03:09:29 PM
One of the Cristiano aims for his ""arab spring"" is win the champions of Asia, so he can be called the king of champions in both tournaments, Champions League in europe and in Asia also. But is not a easy tournament, the first step was made, reaching the next stage of the tournament.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 06, 2023, 03:06:26 PM
I still give United a 20% of chances, for me is most difficult to see them winning the game against Bayern Munich than wait for the draw between Copenague and Galatasaray. Because the other two little teams are gonna be so idiot that they destroy themselves with a draw who doesnt help any of them
