621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: December 07, 2023, 01:26:35 PM
El Salvador President Bukele says, El Salvador's BTCBitcoin investments are in the black!

The president of El Salvador took to the X platform early Monday morning to note his country's bitcoin (BTC) investment was now profitable by more than $3 million following the crypto's rally to the $42,000 area over the weekend.

El Salvador President also said "We have no intention of selling; that has never been our objective," he added. "We are fully aware that the price will continue to fluctuate in the future, this doesn’t affect our long-term strategy."

source: https://twitter.com/nayibbukele/status/1731653743668572498?t=2s_1CkxehqLs4PX2VjYEhw&s=19

Nayib Bukele wants to assure all parties who doubt the concept of investment made by him cannot be justified unilaterally and the doubts of those who assess El Salvador's Bitcoin investment decision have been refuted when Bitcoin experienced a price spike.

Nayib Bukele does not evaluate Bitcoin from the perspective of the profits that will be obtained so he firmly said that he has no intention of selling even though the profits that will be obtained by El Salvador are $3,620,277.13 USD at that time.
Nayib Bukele sees Bitcoin as a great direction for the future of the economy because of the value it has.

If at that time the profit obtained was $3,620,277.13 USD if Bukule sold, how much profit would there be if Bitcoin traded at $70,000 USD?
He's smart about this.

You have ignored the matches Fulham vs Nottm Forest and Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth in the betting list. Are you not convinced by their analysis?
Ignoring those two matches in the multi bet my gut feeling is still not sure, but I'd bet on a close match rather than the matches you mentioned.

Don't be fooled. If your gut feeling is still not sure, it would be a good idea not to include the match in your betting list. Good luck with your choice, friend.

Manchester United tried to reassure supporters by broadcasting the results of their meeting with Chelsea on their official YouTube channel.
I still doubt betting on Manchester United's win even at Old Trafford because Chelsea don't want the bad trend to continue.
Both Teams To Score (yes odds 1.53)  and the draw (odds 2.31) option are fair for both of them in my opinion.

Liverpool to win tonight @ 1.20 -

Prediction: Sheff Utd 1-3 Liverpool

Not much different from my predictions. Liverpool's victory will occur with a difference of two goals. 1-3, 2-4 etc.
624  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: December 06, 2023, 06:40:11 PM
I also placed on some matches, but I am quite curious again by betting on both teams scoring except Liverpool I placed a winning bet on this team.
Before I thought that Arsenal would win easily against Luton Town but the match was so fierce until the end.

Your betting choice makes me confident that you will win this bet. You only choose Liverpool on the 1x2 bet. Three other betting lists you choose to bet on the Both Teams To Score bet.
Good luck ajiz138.

You have ignored the matches Fulham vs Nottm Forest and Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth in the betting list. Are you not convinced by their analysis?
Fulham have good goal statistics. They always managed to score at least one goal in five matches except when they lost against Man United. Nottm Forest also always managed to score goals except when they lost to Everton.
Crystal Palace and Bournemouth can almost always score goals in their last five matches.
If you include them in the Both Teams To Score bet, the odds will increase.
Just a suggestion and not to be heard.

Here I should Liverpool not have the same fate, but I believe Liverpool won easily.

Liverpool will not have the same fate as Arsenal yesterday. My prediction of winning by two goals is very likely to happen.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 05, 2023, 04:32:23 PM
Gambling games are to be enjoyed, not to be a source of income.
These words should be able to be instilled in many gamblers in their mindset, whether they are beginners or gamblers who have become addicts, if only they think of gambling as just entertainment and looking for fun, I don't think there will be many people who will complain about their losses and those who they shared that their experience was full of fun when playing gambling.

It should be like that, but gamblers generally apply this mindset in their gambling.

Your mindset will change when it comes to money. That's where the hardest part is for gamblers to control it so that emotions come out which makes them complain when they lose a lot.
The mindset of gambling to be enjoyed, not as a source of income, must be instilled from the start - before he starts gambling.
Even better, before gambling, the gambler must know all the risks involved in gambling so that the application of this mindset is strong when he becomes an active gambler.

That's roughly my understanding of gambling based on other people's experiences that I apply now.
Complaining is a sign that you are not ready to gamble.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 05, 2023, 03:36:05 PM
But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!

I don't think I can make gambling a path to a career that can generate income as a gambler. I also cannot abandon other sources of income and focus on gambling even though I still live alone without any dependents such as children and a wife as a husband.
I still have a very short time in gambling as an active gambler, but from the experience of other active gamblers I learned that focusing on gambling as a source of income does not work.

I am a gambler, but not a gambler who is classified as an addicted gambler. I only bet on football bets which I do for fun while enjoying team matches.
Occasionally I play slots and I also do that just to get rid of boredom due to college assignments.

So there is no advice I can give other than what I got based on the experience of gamblers who have retired or quit due to bankruptcy.
Gambling games are to be enjoyed, not to be a source of income.
627  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: BAGAIMANA NASIBMU JIKA FORUM BITCOINTALK TIDAK ADA ⁉️ on: December 05, 2023, 08:43:23 AM

Bawa santai saja.

Motivasi saya berada disini sama seperti kebanyakan member lain.

628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin introductory history on: December 05, 2023, 08:17:31 AM
Can I believe that there is a Bitcoin support group that goes around several organizations to advertise Bitcoin because in 2019 many countries in the world have implemented lockdowns and there are no crowd activities. All types of activities are carried out without face to face.

The Bitcoin support group which makes efforts to promote Bitcoin and even holds seminars for me is an extraordinary initiative as long as what is being promoted is about Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is different from crypto in general on the market. Bitcoin is limited, crypto is not.

After you become part of Bitcoin because of an incident that you have described above, you must learn how to use Bitcoin properly and learn how to store Bitcoin correctly.
This is not a sermon from the pulpit in church.
629  Other / Meta / Re: [Voting 2023] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: December 04, 2023, 04:12:36 PM
I would like to participate in the bitcointalk community awards show, but I don't know many people who I would choose based on each of the available categories.
For example, the moderator, admin and three other people whose work includes tools that are often used by forum users, namely ninjastic.space, bpip.org and loyce.club.

I would probably choose Satoshi in the absolute hero of good category and choose these three people in other categories that are appropriate in my opinion.

I don't know them well, if I choose them for each category in this awards show, is it possible. I ask this question so that I don't make a mistake in doing it rather than trying to choose based on other people's choices, aka imitating.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 04, 2023, 02:05:31 PM
Now I am angry at my friend because he didn't keep to his words. Although I am still happy about the win, I wish he had given me back the $10. Then, I would have win bigger money.

It would be different if the money your friend asked you for did not intend to provide a loan, but you considered the $10 he asked for as a voluntary gift.

Giving loan money to friends to gamble often will not return as originally stated. The effect of lending money to other people, including people who already have the status of friends, will end in disagreements which will damage a relationship.

I think your anger at your friend has a reason. And the reason is he didn't keep his promise to return in 3 hours.
If your bet wins after your friend asks for $10, I'll just let it go. Who knows, in the next few days he will return it.

Congratulations on the win bet.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sympathetic gamblers looses itself on: December 04, 2023, 01:41:53 PM
I have seen some facial expression gamblers that I am emotionally touched about and feels they have loosed more than they can handle and feels they deserves an condolence winning. While I empathic with him his amount of lost, I am then to consoling myself that someone on here has lost more than I do.

They are even willing to spend a lot of time every day in the hope of winning at gambling. The look on their faces when they are losing is quite sad to see, causing concern for those of us who see it. We shouldn't have to think like that when we see their sad faces due to losing at gambling because they have experienced large amounts of money earned from gambling.

They are basically to believe one who lost $20 has lost more to them who looses $10.

This is what is meant by why we don't need to have sympathy for them, because each of them has personally gone through various conditions in the gambling games they play.
They have felt that the number of wins is large or medium. It is their turn to experience continuous defeat, they realize that losing the amount of money due to defeat is not comparable to the amount of money they have earned through winning.

Daily Specials
Man City - Tottenham @ 4:30pm GMT

I was late for the Manchester City vs Tottenham match. The odds have changed because the score is 2-1.
Dare to bet on a draw on a 1x2 bet, odds 12 on sportsbet.io which will be multiplied. This is difficult to happen because Manchester City is performing quite well. 61% of ball possession belonged to Manchester City until the 40th minute. Anyone brave?
Half time: 2-1

Selected odds for those betting FC Barcelona 1.97, Draw 3.80, Atletico Madrid 3.65
I don't dare put my hopes of winning on Atletico Madrid because Barcelona is targeting victory after Barca was held to a draw in match 14 by Rayo Vallecano.

Actually, I am more confident about a draw because Barca and Atletico Madrid have the same desire and the same points.
Choosing under 2.5 is more confident and the odds given by sportsbet at Asian Total are fair enough at 2.08 to play safe.
633  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: The best passphrase on: December 03, 2023, 01:22:35 PM
The combination of several capital letters, lower case letters, several numbers and several characters with a total of 10 to 15, for me is strong enough to be used as a password and passphrase. Using this combination makes it easier for me to remember a time.
For one device and another I use different, but not more than two passphrase.
634  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoSteel - for Seed Phrase and Password Storage on: December 03, 2023, 12:55:58 PM
It's my first time seeing a cold storage wallet like that, which, when I look at it, looks like a screw. I wouldn't think it's a storage wallet. What is that? Is it only for Bitcoin, or are there other options for others? cryptocurrency like Ethereum, Binance, and others?

What the OP is showing is steel for storing the seed phrase of an address generated from a wallet, not a wallet for storing coins.
Each steel circle that has been printed and circular on the bolt contains letters starting from A - Z.

Users who have a wallet can make each letter in one set match the seed phrase. Offline seed storage media like this provide strong security and are recommended over storing online. The steel in question is not only for Bitcoin, users who store other coins such as Ethereum can also arrange each letter according to their seed phrase.
OP can correct me if I'm wrong.

For the OP, has this steel gone through a testing process such as how long is it fire resistant in the event of a fire? How heavy would it be if there was a flood? Can it be carried away by the strong current of the flood?
635  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Segala tentang Mixer akan diban Bitcointalk on: December 03, 2023, 04:57:45 AM

636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 02, 2023, 03:47:47 PM
Less than 17 minutes and arsenal are already in front, they play now like a team wanting to win the English premier league, after their six nill trashing of lens in the champions league they are two goals up already against wolves.
A win for Arsenal would shift lots of pressure to Manchester city as the face a faulty Tottenham Hotspur, I believe city would find it hard to win.

Arsenal's game was quite entertaining in the match against Wolverhampton. In this match, it wasn't how many goals Arsenal players scored, but the process by which the goals were scored was very entertaining.
The second goal scored by Martin Odegaard actually happened in a quite beautiful process. The goal, as it was written in their scenario book, came from where and by whom the goal was scored.

The competition for the title is still tight because four other teams are still trying to get it. Indeed, Arsenal always appear with entertaining games, but the end of their struggle in the title competition is always unlucky.

Tomorrow four other teams will compete against their respective opponents. Manchester City will face Spurs and Liverpool will face Fulham.
We don't think Tottenham is weak. Spurs are our tough opponents tomorrow at the Etihad. We have high hopes that Manchester City can beat Tottenham in order to keep the standings from getting too far behind Arsenal.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: December 02, 2023, 03:09:49 PM
With hundreds or probably thousands of games online, I'd like to ask why would you choose sports betting?

Because sports betting can test your analytical skills in reading the teams that will compete in a match.
Analysis in sports betting on the teams that will compete includes knowledge about the player's personality and extends to other statistics.

Moreover, I like to know if you really believe you can win in sports betting in the long run, or you just really think no chance because every game can be win by luck, sports betting is not exemption.

The belief in being able to win at sports betting is the first capital that drives the desire to bet. There's no way I would bet on sports betting if I didn't know about it. Of course this continues with other online betting.
Betting on sports betting for me is something that can be implemented between a hobby and a test of ability.
638  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: December 02, 2023, 11:18:00 AM

Hardly one Newcastle player was replaced by Eddie Howe in the draw in Paris. With Newcastle's incomplete line-up at that time being able to play disciplined, it was difficult for their opponents to develop their best game despite Newcastle's status as the visiting team.

Round 14 of the English Premier League, Newcastle will play at St. James' Park. Still using the same line-up when holding PSG to a draw in the UCL, I think the Magpies can make Manchester United fail to get the target.
From another point of view, Manchester United still has several weak points which can be maximized by Newcastle even though in the last two matches Manchester United was able to surprise at the start of the match.

I put a prediction for Newcastle to win at St. James' Park.
Odds of 2.08 are fair for a 1x2 bet at sportsbet.io
639  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 will not pay anyone for the last week /Sinbad campaign/ on: December 02, 2023, 10:54:20 AM
Royse777 will not pay anyone for the last week, but the Sinbad Bitcoins will still be in his possession.

If this manager does not pay the participants of the campaign, then one of the participants should bring charges of fraud against him. Otherwise, on what basis does he decide for others what and to whom to do with his payments? If he is concerned about the safety of others, just let each campaign participant send a new Bitcoin address to which the debt will be paid.

People, do you want your money to be kept by Royse777? Just because he cares about you.

The case is serious and I am considering not to touch any funds that is in the escrow address right now unless I speak to a lawyer. This means no one is going to receive anymore payments unless I have a direction from the lawyer. It's for the safety of everyone.

I do not participate in campaigns managed by Royse777 but I have an opinion on this topic. So, let me give my opinion based on what I know about what constitutes a scam, although I have the freedom to express my thoughts on all topics published here unless a topic has special requirements that make it impossible for me to leave a response.

Fraud is an effort carried out intentionally to benefit the person of the perpetrator at the expense and harm of others. The definition of fraud can generally be found in many sources so that you can interpret the truth.

From what I understand the meaning of Royse777's statement in the part you quoted in the OP, Royse777 has not decided not to send funds to participants as a result of the work they have done. He will not touch the funds from the escrow wallet to avoid things that impact him such as legal problems. He also made an exception, he would only pay if there was direction from the lawyer.

Royse777 publishes publicly about the funds it has and explains what it will do with these funds.
From which point of view a campaign participant can make accusations — to him that he committed fraud. CMIIW
640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 01, 2023, 05:35:17 PM
Bitcoin has surged for 2.87% today and reached the highest level in 2023.

2.8% is just a percentage increase in 24h or 1d. If you look again at the Bitcoin price graph on several sites, it has changed again - it has increased by 3% and will still be able to increase and decrease according to my analysis when monitoring the Bitcoin graph rate on tradingview.

Does this year has more surprises for us and we can break all time high of bitcoin ?

I don't know how it will go at the end of this year. I think this year there will not be a high price because in the cycle it still takes many days to reach a new historical high price level.
I referred to several sources regarding the Bitcoin halving time which said it was around 130 days away plus the number of days after the halving. Here I said the highest record still won't happen this year but based on current calculations it will happen in 2024 and I still don't dare say it will definitely happen.
