621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if there was only one cryptocurrency, which is Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2023, 06:54:12 PM
I don’t feel that bitcoin has any competitor to be honest and if they were no Altcoins the adoption of bitcoin doesn’t look like something that would be affected because even now the number of people that go into cryptocurrency are through bitcoin, so even without the other coins they will still come.

All blockchain project is Bitcoin competitor because all other blockchain exists because Bitcoin can’t handle scaling problem before way back when there’s no other popular blockchain alternative such as Ethereum.

And this is why i state that bitcoin blockchain or any of its kind are not it’s competitors. When we say they are competitors then they could solve the problem surrounding bitcoin and better it. But if they don’t solve the problem and people still prefers it than those coming to solve the problems like bitcoin cash proclaimed with scalability then it is no competition to me. Competition is only when people move to the other side but no bitcoin still remains without any

I will definitely be starting up a little business, I have alway wanted to start livestock farming most especially fish farming and 0.5btc is ok to start the business and the other half to buy altcoin will be spent on monero, aside bitcoin it is the only coin I can say I trust due to its decentralization. All the other top cryptocurrencies like ETH and stablecoins are too risk for me to invest this huge amount on
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 29, 2023, 02:33:54 PM

A strong League not lie Laliga, Premier League and Seria A.

Just like PSG in the French League, that is how Bayern Munich is in the Bundesliga.

They are only two teams in their respective leagues that have been winning the league consecutively.

Bayern wins the title every year so I won’t say it is that competitive to win it every year. The only competitive side we see in the Bundesliga is the other qualification slots like the relegation, it’s play-offs and European spot’s positions, other than that it is seems more like a one team race.

But since last season we have seen it getting a little bit competitive with Dortmund pushing Bayern till the last day and later losing it at the end. This season we already have surprise contenders already, the likes of Leverkusen and maybe Leipzig since they are not far behind. I don’t want to include Stuttgart because i don’t think they have the squad just yet to compete for the title, yes they can qualify for the Champions League but I don’t fancy them much for the league and yesterday added to my lack of confidence in them. They lost the first game without Guirassy and we don’t know what’s next or when he will return.

The price of bitcoin might increase only due to demand because without the Altcoins which promises huge returns and some people will to have invest almost all of that into bitcoin, which means a high demand of bitcoin than now.

Without altcoins many wouldn’t be in Disney world that they could be become rich over night from it and without them the scams done by fake or shit coins wouldn’t be there and the cryptocurrency space will actually gain the purity that bitcoin brings

There are many advantages of holding bitcoin aside the usual store of value, it been an hedge against in inflation and also a great ROI.

I would say holding bitcoin had taught me lots about security because the fundamental principle in holding and holding for long is on a secure storage. While seeking this knowledge I get to understand that the best form of saving money is you yourself been your own bank and not trusting custodian wallets or exchanges. Also the best form of storage is offline because once it gets online you never might know what will happen to it.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 28, 2023, 10:21:27 PM
From the beginning of the match until the 70th minute, Barcelona dominated the game and dominated the game. But in the 70th minute with Bellingham's wonderful goal, Barcelona, who went out of the game mentality that had to win at home, the gaps that Real Madrid found after that minute, a great transition game and Bellingham's surprise finisher kick determined the score for Real Madrid, we can say that El Clasico gave immense pleasure without Messi and Ronaldo.

The match was heavily dominated by the Barcelona throughout but one of the biggest mistake of Barcelona is never ending the game when you still haven’t. Madrid dominated the second half due to two brilliant changes where Modric and Camavinga came on, both of them  changed the game. Camavinga was galloping through the left flank and this caused a lot of problems to Araujo who had Vinicius in his pocket all match. This created more chances from that wing and they utilized it.

Xavi on the other hand threw the game away when he brought on Romeu. Romeu was very poor in that defensive midfield position and he gave a way too much of the ball and this was what caused Barca the game. Not forgetting how Barca actually wasted chances most especially by Cancelo who I don’t think was wise to had started him in that position with many left footed players in the club

How can you say Balogun is better than Jesus and Nketiah, how many goals has Balogun scored this season that you would assume he is better than them,Arsenal need a quality striker, yes, but we also need Gabriel Jesus who has this high pressing method quality, and it is exactly what Arsenal needs. When Balogun was given chances to impress Arteta in the  preseason,he wasn't able to get any goal,he wasn't even able to impress Arsenal fans, but he was everywhere online making noise about how good he is and he is beched by Arteta.
For sure, this season might belong to Arsenal because they have all it takes to win the league,

I think you just quoted me out of context, I never said he is better than Jesus and Nketiah but with Similar characteristics and edges the other two when it comes to area football. There are matches were Arsenal need to win dirty like having a good talk striker who they can put in a cross to and is always available.

If you talk about how many goal Florian Balogun had scored then I will retract you back to reflect, Balogun had more than 20 goals contribution last season and already this season he has 3 goals at his new club in 6 appearances so to me it is still a good thing. Jesus is an excellent player but the his continual injury woes which prevent him to fulfill is full potential at Manchester city is currently disturbing him too at Arsenal. Arteta without a new striker had to keep someone like Balogun and probably if he gets more minutes

Kepa is not a bad choice so far he's Kept Realmadrid going and I think Ancelotti did an all round check before he decided to loan him as a temporary option, though i thought he was going to pick David Degea since he was cheaper and they could get him on a free transfer but he decided to go for Kepa,I feel Degea's age might be the reason and maybe they signed Kepa to  test his ability and probably sign him permanently if he's good enough.

However @BITCOIN4X  Realmadrid form is not shaky if it was they would had been underperforming and so far they're not and are even doing well in both their league and in the UCL, moreover they are currently the leaders of the league and are doing find even with the absence of Eder Militão, do not forget they still got David Alaba and Rudiger who are very good defenders

Degea’s age might be one thing Madrid considered against signing him as a free transfer. Another thing again could be that his wages might be too erroneous for Madrid at this time. My biggest guess of why Degea missed out on joining Real Madrid was because of his weakness of playing with his feet. Kepa was signed because he seems much re fit for those kind of pattern.

Madrid are in the right form currently and I don’t have too many doubts of them defeating Barcelona in the El Classico. The major problem is the coach Ancelloti, he twerks formations when is facing either Barcelona and Atletico Madrid which we saw against the later club. If Ancelloti decides to twerk this formation again and introduce the two veterans Modric and Kroos to start the derby match then I have an iota of believe that they will lose. The Madrid midfielder should remain as it is with young players in the midfield and Toni Kroos starting to offer his experience, which will be needed crucially in that game

Newcastle are the most inexperienced team in this group. However, their performance surprised everyone. They won by a big margin against PSG. They shared points with Milan. Newcastle team performed very well in two matches.

With the help of Luis Enrique, PSG is slowly getting stronger. Their squad is not very strong this season. Still, Enrique is doing his best to keep PSG's performance stable. And I believe Enriqu will succeed. Enrique's team will be at the top of the group. It is difficult to make predictions about the Dortmund team. Although this team is quite strong, their performances are quite erratic. Despite playing well against Newcastle, their performance against PSG was very poor.

Newcastle have seriously surprised many with how they’re taking the games and looking more like a proper club that is regular in the champions league. It will be a tough fight with Dortmund on the horizon but they definitely have the players to challenge.

PSG might seem to be a little bit disorganized after the departure of many stars like Messi and Neymar. This thing came about a new players signings like Ramos, Dembele, kolo Muani and the rest. This players seems to me more like a squad player than the others that left.

Dortmund are not a club that one can actually just back to get result against top clubs like them. Dortmund switch off easily and I wouldn’t be too surprised if they lose the remaining matches

That wasn't a bad move either now Cole Palmer has to do all he can to be consistent for the next ten to fifteen years with Chelsea. The lad is too good to sit on the bench and having player's undropabble around how do you expect him to get more game time?
Players leave and become legends else where. I'm pretty sure Pep Guardiola has not been the one pushing him out, Cole Palmer must be the one asking for game time and the only way out was through the sale and signature for Chelsea.

Composed finish he has against Arsenal. I'm looking towards a great partnership yo be formed between Nkuku and Cole Palmer as they link up with whoever's top front of the attack. They should get another win against Brentford if they attack and defend.
They have good set of players who're growing into top notch players.

I can’t agree less with you, once a prodigy is sold off to a new club many fans and pundits raises eye brows not thinking that some of this move are actually the best for his progression. This case of Cole Palmer is just same as that of Kelvin De Bruyne, not that the club doesn’t notice his brilliance but because there are other better players in his position, in this case there are players like Bernando Silva and Foden at his position. You don’t expect him to get the minutes he would have wanted with This two around.

Also many people will come with the intuition that it should be a loan spell, but if you look at Managers like Pep and Mourinho, they don’t believe in a player going out on loan because they feel that player will be under used. And this is true, we have seen many players going out on loan and hardly get the minutes they seek for. The other thing will be a buy back clause which no top club will accept in this era. So I see nothing bad in both parties going their separate ways
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 26, 2023, 01:58:07 PM
Manchester united and Chelsea have suffered this season due to injuries and inconsistency in league games. They're unable to meet the high competitive standards of EPL but they are actually trying to recover, this is good news for these teams supporters. I'm a Chelsea fan and I'm more concern about the current status of my club. Chelsea performance is all we need to have to possess confidence in Mauricio Pochettino. The Blues have bounce back quickly and this time they're not relenting, always striving for better results and aim at reaching essential positions this season.

Chelsea misery seem understandable to me because losing those numbers of players they did and how important they were to the team will definitely affect them. Also they have a very large new number of signings which is one of the thing that cost them this season because you need to have this players blend together. Also the coach is new and his playing pattern wouldn’t be easily implemented even Pep Gaurdiola had to go a season before his pattern could be implemented at city. So I think Chelsea are on the right track.

But Manchester United is quite different although they needed to add more players but they still had the same players as last season with just few players leaving. I didn’t expect them to have this difficult at this time last season, but maybe the takeover issue is affecting even the performance of the players.

I don't understand with this, isn't Newcastle should be on the second position since they're leading in goal difference? Newcastle has 2 points while Dortmund has -1 points, but Dortmund overtake Newcastle's position.

However Milan seems hard to be qualify into the next rounds.

The Champions league is not like the regular countries league we have that prioritizes goal differences but they prioritize the head to head because they believe everyone will uses his home game as an advantage against the other teams. Before the new editions there were times where when there was draw in the knockout stages the team that scored the more away number of goals will go ahead but they change it. So it is nothing new, if Newcastle manages to win with same score line against Dortmund then they will make use of the goal difference.

Manchester City have outstanding quality players that are capable of netting goals and providing crucial passes for goals for the purpose to accumulate points. Manchester City, the reigning UEFA Champions and they will put a top challenge for defending the title this season. In the group G, they're ranked #1 and have everything within their position to qualify. There's absolutely no match for Manchester City in Group G, watching them thrashing their opposition in every UCL matchday, it's consider good results for Pep Guardiola and his men, what they basically need is a tough competitor for UCL this season, because recording thrilled victory against all these average teams doesn't count for me.

Manchester City since past years have always used to have one of the easiest group in the UCL. This easier group guarantees them a top finish in the group and towards the knockout stages they also get easy fixtures. There games are only intense when they reach either the quarterfinals or semi finals and that’s why they reach this stages without even losing a match. So even this season I see them going into those stages easily

I was greatly disappointed with the performance of Newcastle United when they faced Dortmund today. Newcastle that was yet to lose to a German side just spoilt that record and with a bad performance. After they displaced PSG, I felt Dortmund would have been an easy game for them but, the German side held them to a stand still.
Yeah, they had some balls that came off the cross bar but, they could had some good chance to have easily converted a goal.

Your assumption of Newcastle wining against Dortmund was maybe they have been in serious form and also have beaten Madrid and shared a point with AC Milan. But that’s not how this game has taught us most especially the champions league where teams are unpredictable. Newcastle in the last decade can not be compared to Dortmund. They might have been on a good side on the wining and qualified to champions league Against many odds last season but even Dortmund were on a superb run last season and only fell short of winning the Bundesliga last season. The only thing was that Newcastle actually lost an advantage today to at home to go home with at least a point. In this kind of tight table or group you make sure you win your matches and trying to get a draw in the opponent home.
The four teams are open to go round of 16 but the next game will determine a club like AC Milan, if they will qualify which I doubt currently.

Arsenal are going to go again for the Tittle charge this season, and despite not placing them as the favourite, they are still doing their thing, and they will continue to do their best whether people believe in them or not.I know they
dissappointed a lot of people last season, but it isn't a problem, they can go on to win this league this season,I am not very optimistic about that, but they have improved  in a lot of areas this season.
If Arsenal do not win the league this season,I am sure it might be some other team and not Manchester City.
City have tried, winning the tittle back to back, and I'm sure they won't allow that happen again, some other team will snatch it from them now.

They were the first title challengers that everyone called out alongside Manchester city this season. The likes of Gary Neville who last season was continually saying Arsenal are not going to win the league even after opening an 8 points lead as this season said he is banking on Arsenal ahead of city. I am not bringing up to suggest maybe he is a spiritualist but just to say that even the haters are currently wowed with this Arsenal’s squad this time around. Last season what they lack was a quality squad to help them when the season went long but this season almost all the positions has better back except the Striker role. Both  Nketiah and Jesus are not enough for a title charge. Arteta should have sticked with Balogun because he offers more on a area battle than the other two.
635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone explain how liquidation works ? on: October 25, 2023, 08:51:01 PM
This liquidity of a thing is something you need to read and understand base on your own perspective of it. But what I understand it to be is that the ability to buy and sell that particular coin is it’s liquidity. For example we will be saying something like bitcoin has more liquidity than altcoins, this is because whenever you wish to buy or sell any amount of bitcoin you will easily get a buyer or seller, but if it is the other coins you won’t get for the amount you wanted mostly if it is large amount.

We also sometimes say CEX like binance has more liquidity than DEX like Bisq because their more people to buy and sell on CEX than on DEX, and hence converting your coins to cash is easier their.

Manchester took over the second half and used that as an advantage to net the post. Maguire did great today and I think that he has started performing well and bringing victories to Manchester United unlike last season that he was causing defeat for United. I am happy that Maguire can put a smile on his face and be proud of himself again. For he scored at the right time that the goal was needed.
Manchester United had a better second half than the shambolic first half they played. The main player that changed the game was Christian Erickson. When Erickson came into  the game his composure and ability was the reason United dominated the midfield and one of his long balls was the what brought about the goal. Garnacho was missing one on one chances with the goalkeeper but also had a better game than Rashford that played complete nonsense. Garnacho should be given more playing time.

The two players that weren’t in the game was Scott MacTominay and Bruno. Aside the goals MacTominay doesn’t provide nothing more, he is part of central midfielders and could not dash back to recieve the ball more often when the defense has it. This was the space the opponent exploited and use to cause united problems in the first half. A better team would have done damage to united
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 24, 2023, 02:45:03 PM
Stuttgart and leverkusen. I would like to see the winner from these teams. Stuttgart looks worthy enough caused by guirassy may also win the to scorer of bundesliga this season and beating kane from bayern.
This guy is really talented striker at this moment but he may leave from stuttgart during winter transfer.

Let's see who is going to be the club that will try to sign him from stuttgart. Stuttgart will get bunch of money from selling him.

I doubt Stuttgart could go along because of the same reason you believe they could which is Guirassy, the team defends so much on him for goals such that if he should be sidelined for a very long time I doubt they could cope. Although they did well In the weekend game when he was substituted in the first half. His replacement Undav and Silas look like players that fill his shoes in that game but i strongly doubt they could. I had similar believe about Union last season but their over dependence on Sheraldo Becker caused them problems when the goals dried off for him, same way I don’t want to fall into Stuttgart too now.

My number one club to challenge Bayern is Bayer Leverkusen. They have an all round formidable squad and are not too dependent on a single player. They also have leaders that have played high competitive football for a very long time, players like Xhaka, Hoffman, Tah and goalkeeper Hradecky will help guide the young squad to the tittle better than Stuttgart has
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 23, 2023, 10:14:11 PM
It is just our guess, in fact there is no a drop of Tottenham performance. They even can play more solidly because some new players can adapt quickly and they can fit into Tottenham's game style. Ange Postecoglou (the new coach of Tottenham) signed the right players to build Tottenham squad in the previous transfer window. I really appreciated what Ange Postecoglou has done with Tottenham squad.

Ange Postecoglu has been the one behind this tremendous run Tottenham are having, if you look at their games it is not only about them winning but about how they win. Tottenham control or dominate most part of game against their opponents. Ange’s tactical twerk of having Son as the striker and moving the likes of Johnson and Richarlison to the wing even though they are strikers have actually paid off as the link up between summer signing Maddison and Son has grown concrete.

Another area that is been effective in helping Tottenham gain stability is the midfielder where the duo of Bissouma and Malanga Sarr have controlled well. The two are defensive midfielders that can carry the ball very well and they have done just that properly.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin were a physical currency. on: October 23, 2023, 08:50:55 AM
If Bitcoin were a physical currency, its value would not have gone this far, and just the way people do fake currencies and gold, there will be fake Bitcoins, which is not proper, and moreover, if it were a physical currency, the government would be in control of its circulation and also its value.

This is part of the major challenges associated with physical currency and one of the reason why it’s devaluation happens. A physical currency is always expensive to print, expensive to maintain and then needs a central authority or mint to print it. If bitcoin was a physical currency the advantage of it not been manipulative wouldn’t be there because it would just be printed more to cause large circulation of it and causes it to devalue.

Other things like store of value and limited supply wouldn’t be also there. Another biggest issue is cross boarder transactions that can be done swiftly without intermediaries will not be possible with a physic currency of it
640  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [Tutorial] BlueWallet - Bitcoin Wallet Discussion on: October 23, 2023, 08:41:35 AM
Today I faced a challenge while trying to make a transaction out of my BlueWallet. With the mempool less congested and the estimated fee rate from mempool.space was 2sats/vbyte same was shown as the top priority on the BlueWallet with 1sat/vbyte been the minimum I decide not get greedy although I didn’t wasn’t in hurry for the transaction so I customized fee rate 1.5sats/vbyte, and I got an error so I opted for the high priority fee rate of 2 sats/vbyte but still the I got the error in the image below. I thought it was sync error and I logged out and log into the BlueWallet again and sync it but same thing occurred at that 2sats/vbyte fee rate, I was only able to get my transaction broadcasted with a 3 sats/vbyte.

Does this mean BlueWallet doesn’t allow a transaction to proceed with a fee of 300 sats less. If at all the mempool was congested and the purging fee rate was above my fee rate I would have thought other wise although it wouldn’t still be proper. But I wan snyc the mempool then and 2sats/vbyte was ok to get my transaction confirmed in the next block but BlueWallet didn’t allow me to proceed.

Has anyone else experienced similar problem before?
