621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wich coin is next? on: August 12, 2019, 11:37:27 AM
Altcoins are still sleeping, bet they won't move anywhere till September. August is not the best time to begin the rally - everybody is thinking about holidays and spending money - not investing it Smiley
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arrgh! Libra here and There on: August 12, 2019, 11:31:17 AM
Why are people not getting it?its kinda annoying hearing from people that Facebook Libra coin will take over.

The first question I would like to ask such people is why are they investing in crypto?majority of us on here wants to make profits apart from supporting the technology and that clears the fact that I'm only investing in bitcoin and altcoins because they aren't stable.

People aren't getting it that if bitcoin becomes a stable currency today many investors will start using bitcoin just like they are using tether but what about those high gain?sorry guys investing 2000$ in stable coins will remains at 1999$-2000$ forever.

Either bitcoin and altcoins bring loss or gains that's what makes them more interesting,Libra is a stable coin,no more no less and no matter how good it turns out to be its not an option for investment to me,I don't know about you guys.

If Libra gets on exchanges I like using like binance yes I would gladly use it to back my crypto Worth's just like using tether or usdc, nothing more or less.

Enough of libraphobia.

Finally! Someone smart here! Thought I was missing something or everyone else knows something more interesting about Libra than I do... Now, I'm calm and pleased, there are some sober people around  Grin
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: August 11, 2019, 06:55:29 PM
You should have some plan, some strict strategy when you invest in crypto (any other investing instrument as well). Making fast decisions and changing your plans constantly when watching the price charts is a very bad idea.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: August 11, 2019, 06:52:44 PM
If we are talking about this period of time - second half of 2019 - I would suggest not to hold anything in longterm. Buy some btc, some strong altcoins and wait fir the bullrun. When it cones, begin selling everything. You may lose your chance to earn here if you are going to play in a holder style now. This bull run may be the last one I think.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: August 11, 2019, 06:45:24 PM
I think IEO hype will last shorter than ICO one. That's obviously the same type of cryptoinvesting mania, and similar ideas have shorter lifetime and smaller opportunities usually.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if Bitcoin Dominance increases by more than 80%? on: August 11, 2019, 06:40:34 PM
BTC dominance level doesn't affect anything. This is a consequence, not a cause. And I doubt this figure may return to 80% someday in future. There are too many altcoins now.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: August 05, 2019, 05:34:24 PM
My favourite exchange is the one I need at the current moment. If I think about trading some token somewhere, I usually go to coinmarketcap and look where I can make a trade. Then I choose the exchange with the best price and high volumes. Also I prefer the one where I already have registered and verified before.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin? on: August 05, 2019, 05:30:29 PM
I would better measure ETH price in dollars, not in BTC. ETH may fall even lower in BTC if bitcoin continues to grow fast. So, nothing surprising here, ETH may cost 200$ USD and live long and prosper.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is a virtue but how much patience do you have? on: August 05, 2019, 05:25:01 PM
Now that the market is bleeding, our patience will be measured again and those hearts will start pumping so fast every time we look on our portfolios went down for more than 30%. Panic selling starting to rise and a lower low can be expected. How do you control your patience in a red days like this?

630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Trusted Managers Don't Accept Red Trusted Participants on: August 05, 2019, 05:21:43 PM
Isn't it unfair?

Most of the bounty managers has red trust but they never accept red trusted participants mostly on their signature campaign. If ico making this decision so why are they hiring a red trusted manager?

Well, because ICO team doesn't care about bounty manager's trust, they may be totally unaware of this feature Smiley
And bounty manager is professional here and he knows the rules. And he sets such a requirements in his campaign, because he thinks that this is important.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: August 05, 2019, 05:17:16 PM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.

There are several possible bad scenarios:
1) ICO/IEO fails for some reason. Low funding or some regulatory problems or something else.
2) Bounty scammers. The team may decide not to pay anything to bounty manager and participants.
3) Bounty manager - scammer. He received his payment but scammed the hunters.
4) Bounty pool decreasing. For any reason the team may do this and you can't stop them. 100 times decrease is quite usual for example. "Sorry, but we raised too small sum... We decided to decrease the bounty pool. That would be better gor all the *shitcoin name* holders. Thanks for understanding!"
5) Different kind of delays. Delayed tokens payment, delayed bounty payments, delayed KYC procedure, delayed listings etc.

Keep that in mind and don't be frustrated when you see something like this Smiley
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why IEO? on: August 04, 2019, 11:22:43 PM
Why most of the projects these days prefer IEO over ICO? , what were the lacks in ICOs that crypto needs IEO? What should we choose as an investor? Which has lower risk?

IEO often has lower risks than ICO has. I would advise to choose IEO now, but this is not everything you need to count in. ICO's weak point is lack of marketing and problems with exchange listings. IEO being held on a good exchange has more chances to succeed I think.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i realize my dream on: August 04, 2019, 11:15:24 PM
You should try, what stops you? You have two ways how to do that in fact. First - learn how to do it by yourself and begin to practice. Second - find someone who will help you to kickstart this.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cryptos in the future? on: August 04, 2019, 11:10:43 PM
Cryptocurrency as technology won't disappear - that's for sure. But the thing is - many famous altcoin projects may disappear in a couple of years easily. And most of the small projects will definitely die.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized exchanges vs Decentralized exchanges on: August 03, 2019, 03:52:08 PM
Centralized exchanges sometimes give your more opportunities to earn by creating pumps and manipulations with listed coins... But Decentralized exchanges are our future - that's a fact Smiley
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the Crypto market? on: August 03, 2019, 03:48:30 PM
Don't think, we will see any significant positive movements in crypto until September comes... August here - holidays time, people won't invest money anywhere.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: August 03, 2019, 03:46:18 PM
Are you frustrated when you experience defeat in trading? yes I experienced this ... I have lost $ 1000 dollars in the past 2 hours ... I did not switch with another coin and I just focused on the initial coin. but in fact I was still losing, in my opinion trading was not much different from gambling.

You're god damn right, bro, gambling, pure casino Smiley
99% of the traders who are going for daytrading are wasting their time and money. Other 1% got some kind of flair, intuition or something like that Smiley
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: August 03, 2019, 03:36:47 PM
Exchanges got much power on crypto market - especially the huge ones. They are controlling the market and I think they are closely connected with some big whales btw.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have lost 8 letters of my Ethereum private key on: July 31, 2019, 01:41:13 PM
Hi there
I have lost the last 8 letters of my ethereum wallet private keys. I wonder if there is a way to restore those letters. I searched the net and found out that it is possible to do it usuing a C or Python program.
If you know a way to solve my problem , please let me know
thanks

How come your missed several letters - not the whole private key?  Smiley
It's like a plot for some action film, like mission impossible, heh))
I think, it's possible to guess these 8 symbols, but it will take you too long - around 3*10e12 trials.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain is Failing and Letting Down Tokens on: July 31, 2019, 01:33:26 PM
Binance is creating a strong hype around their projects and helping to promote crypto all over the world. That's a very positive effect in summary I think, they are doing well.
