I've a total of 10 days log in time today since i joined this life transforming bitcointalk forum and i must confess that the experience i've gotten so far is amazing.
At first when i joined this forum newly on 16th july 2023, i was finding it difficult to navigate and understand the activities of the forum, i spent almost a month watching and learning about the forum and i started getting accustomed to how the forum works then i began to give my opinion towards other people's thread, as time goes on i began creating threads as well and what amazed me most was when i started receiving merits from quality posts i've made, getting these merit increased my morale to study more and give more vital ideas on topics that are being discussed in the forum.
As days goes by thats how my activity started growing and merits awarded to my quality posts. My activity now has reach the level of a full member but my total merit hasn't gotten to the number required before being confirmed a full member. I believe with time i will reach the desired merits that will increase my ranks accordingly.
I encourage everyone that is new to this forum to spend more time learning from this forum rather than jumping into making posts that will become irrelevant or has no meaning to offer any idea to the forum. I'm also happy to be a member of a signature campaign and i believe i will do my best to my benefit and also to the benefit of the signature campaign i am representing.
I know most people will say it's too early to celebrate my stay in this bitcointalk forum but i tell you in this life we need to appreciate our little beginning so that it can give us an edge towards achieving great success tomorrow.
Well I don't know about other Newbies in the house but speaking for myself, I've had exactly similar experiences. Being a Brand New/Newbie isn't easy, you'll need to do your research about Topics, Study tooth and nail to gain a good number of shareable knowledge that others can learn from. Like one of my OP said in one of my threads on this local board. Waiting I come to understand for this forum how to get merit na when you create a post wey people see say through your post wey you create people don use am guide their self
That you need to use your initiative to come up with an informative article that people can actually get resourceful information that would be beneficial to them, then you can earn yourself a good number of merits to reward your resilience and contribution to the forum. And we all know that to that, you need to study and make proper research to gain that kind of knowledge. |

Especially if you copy some sentences and not originally from you, it is good to include the link because if the link is not included, it would be regarded as plagiarism and this can lead to ban. Some newbies do not like to reference, thinking not referencing it will earn them merit, but instead their account would be banned. There are a lot of posts that are referenced and yet given merits. Every reasonable person would know that whenever you borrow someone's work or idea, the need to reference and acknowledge the original author is important. Else it would otherwise be considered as theft. Although not everyone is aware of these and that's why there's need to formally educate them, because some of them do it out of ignorance and mediocrity but still suffer the consequences because ignorance of the law isn't an excuse. So they should be fully educated on these facts in order to avoid being penalized and claiming they were ignorant of the situation. Binance has already established itself as the biggest centralized exchange in terms of volume and users on a global scale. The stepping down of CZ will affect a bit its operation and business, of course, but in the long run as long as the CEO is good then it will even be growing more. I have a lot of confidence on Binance and remember that the hack that happened to it in the past never made long-term negative effect on its growth...and I am hoping the same.
Since CZ step down as a CEO of Binance, I am hoping that the new CEO- Richard Teng will handle and operate this reputable exchange just like what CZ did. I believe CZ is only officially resigned but inside the house he's still the CEO and Richard is only representing CZ. From what I checked Richard Tang do have the expertise and qualifications to handle the affairs of Binance but CZ's experience still remains the irreplaceable commodity needed to pilot the affairs of Binance, I believe CZ will still remain the brain behind the whole operation while Richard Tang will only be standing for him as the CEO. So I have no doubt that Binance's operation would still be as usual and we wouldn't need to worry about the change in government. |

If you like believe this or not, this is what I believe thats happening behind the scene right now.
For one reason or the other, CZ must go for ETFs to get approved, you might not like the sound of it but Black Rock is the one behind the resign of CZ, I know some will try to argue that its wrong, CZ did well for steping down easily, its for the greater good, but still not free of going to prison someday, since he is already proven guilty.
Sometimes to keep business running you go extra miles by getting your hands in the dirt, I understand, with the market manipulation and USDt excessive printing, its business anyways but still CZ is the best man I know in crypto.
Now that he is out of the way I am sure they the ETFs will get approved this time.
I suspected the same thing when I heard the news about the whole thing, I suspected straight away that this could be a plot because the evidence must have been so delicate that CZ had no other option than to plead guilty to the crime. I didn't think of who could be behind the whole plot at first but now I think it all makes sense now. Surely, CZ was the only one Black Rock could see as a threat and with CZ outta the way now, Black Rock remains the only one who's directly benefited from CZ's resignation as CEO. |

CZ is not Binance so I’m sure it will recover since they are the number 1 crypto exchange. This is different to FTX issue since CZ part ways properly without any funds taken away from the customers.
It wasn't only CZ that was implicated but Binance as well so Binance is likely to take the fall too. |

For anyone wey don write project proposal before, dem go sabi say e dey very important make you do research. You go need spend time do research and discuss with experts for the subject wey you wan write about. You go find out if person don write about the topic before and if solution dey. You go also check if there still more things to talk about for the topic. All these go help you decide how to continue and avoid dey repeat wetin others don already talk.
CREATE POST WEY GO ENTER EYE.
To create post wey go enter eye na to make your idea or topic fine and attractive. Just like how perfume wey smell nice fit make something more appealing. To get people wey go dey interested for your topic, you need make you get one good presentation. Example, if you get choice between to watch movie for black and white TV or colorful HD TV, you go probably choose the colorful one. Like person already talk here, if you get the money to buy am, then buy, nobody wey no deserve to use better phone or wear luxurious clothes. To me, that also seems to indicate that the soonest that any Spot ETF would be approved would be two weeks from yesterday.. which would be right around December 1, at the earliest.. .and sure.
To me, I doubt they would even give any approvals, even after the Spot Bitcoin ETF applicants provides the Cash Creates in two weeks. I bet they'd request for more time to review the cash Creates, maybe this could be for another two weeks, who knows. We might likely not be expecting an ETF approval from SEC this year. |

Your theory (or your explanation regarding what is going on) sounds backwards Gormicsta.
I would think that if there are other kinds of ETF product on the markets or other somewhat competitive products available then that could effect the direction whether premium or discount, and surely if there are prospects of an ETFs getting approved and coming onto the market, then that could well affect the differentiations in trust fund price (and the directions) relative to NAV... so I doubt the direction and/or the distance from NAV is a reflection of the quality of the underlying product.. .not that I am trading or playing around with any of those products, in regards to by preference for spot and also my preference for BTC rather than screwing around with shitcoins whether buying directly or buying them through some kind of a trust fund or an ETF.

But looking at it from a different angle, While the prospects of ETFs getting approved can impact trust fund prices relative to their NAV, you can't elude the fact that trust funds and ETFs can serve different purposes and relatively attend to different investor preferences. For example, trust funds may have different investment strategies, focus on specific sectors or regions. This differentiation can create a special value proposition for trust funds that may certainly give investors reason to choose trust funds even with the approval and presence of an ETFs. |

Speaking of those funds, it is absolutely mind blowing how they are trading: none at NAV, BTC and ETH at discount, ETC at huge discount, while other LINK for example at an astonishing premium.
Well that's certainly because the demand of LINK from the investors drives its trading price. the demands are pretty high, Hence the reason they can trade at a premium, investors are willing to pay more than the NAV of the funds. They are pretty optimistic about the prospects of the assets so you can't blame them for being willing to pay a premium for those assets. I believe the investor's sentiment isn't that optimistic about BTC, ETH and ETC, Hence the reason the funds are traded at crazy discounts. It sure is Mind blowing lol. |

If there's one thing I've learned about knowledge is that, you can either acquire it the easy peasy way or the hard way, the choice is entirely yours, easy way is when you sort for it, study and do researches, ask experienced people to transfer knowledge to you, and the hard way is when you act out of greed and stupidity and then loose money to scammers or a shit project and then you learn your lesson from it, either ways, you learn, so it's up t everyone to choose which way they wish to learn. |

For sure the ETF applications did create a short-term hype but we all know that the impact of the ETF applications is far from short-term. Because when news breaks out about an ETF being rejected or approved by regulatory bodies, it can generate interest and speculations amongst Bitcoin investors which are going t be there for quite a long time. Let's assume an ETF is approved it sure would lead to increased buying activities and make Bitcoin more available and accessible to investors making the price to take a positive trend, and when an ETF is rejected, reverse might be the case and there would certainly be a decrease in market sentiments amongst investors and there is likely to be a dip in the price of Bitcoin because traders and investors market decisions are likely to be influenced by the news. And at this point this can't be considered to be a short-term hype. |

When gambling we don't need to analyze, just play and enjoy. However, when trading we need analysis, trading without analysis is also possible but the trading model is the same as gambling, just relying on luck.
This is far from true my friend, even in Gambling analysis is very important, that is why gambling has some analysis tools used to be able to at least give you a hint of what the outcome and result might be. Let's take for instance those that gamble on soccer, you have the leverage to check the strength of the both teams, their H2H(head to head) which is the results of their previous encounters and possibly their last matches with other teams. These informations help you analyse and gives you an edge to come up with a reasonable predictions. So as much as Trading requires analysis, so does gambling. |
