621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to Hire Crypto Trader on: March 20, 2020, 09:00:20 AM
If I am the one that’s looking for a trader to work with, I don’t think I would be looking for one online, I’d prefer to look around me for someone that knows how to trade and then work with them, that way I would be more safe than when I’m working with someone that I don’t know, someone that I just met online, what if something happens?

Anyway, there are still people here who can be trusted, you should check the trust rating of whoever you choose to work with, to know if they are good or not. Then avoid newbies as the other forum members have said because there are scammers that are always creating lots of new accounts to use against people that are aware of it.
622  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 20, 2020, 07:25:31 AM
This virus cannot survive on high temperatures so as soon as the summer approaches, the virus will be dead. For the time being, the sports should be shifted to the countries where there is more hot weather.  The indoor and outdoor games both are effected by it, perhaps we have to quit sports betting for the time being and play casino games at fortunejack.  Wink
This is not entirely true. New cases have now been cited in countries where temperatures and conditions are sometimes high and desert-like such the Middle East, Sub-Saharan and Tropical Africa. The Virus is literally sparing no place on the planet where there are humans

It is enticing to believe that covid-19 will be eliminated due to warmer weather. However, many scientists say it's too soon to know, not enough is known about the virus. I live in a tropical country and it's summer here today, it doesn't really affect how the virus spreads, it keeps getting worse. We can't continue our sports here either. Spreading news without concrete evidence like this can give false hope to people. It is better if we should focus on containment of the virus, wash hands, social distancing, and self quarantine.
It has already said that summer (or heat actually) has nothing to do with this virus. Right now Australia just got over the fires and yet they have virus as well, I understand that most of the population lives in the northern hemisphere and that is why most people do not realize that there is virus going on at southern hemisphere as well, I know it is unthinkable for some people to consider what others are going through right now but imagine like it is September for some people on earth right now, that is exactly what is going on.

Maybe heat might be affecting at some level but it is too soon to say that it will beat the virus in general. Maybe it will help, but it is 100% guaranteed that heat is not the perfect solution, at best it could be a bit relief but that's it.
623  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: March 19, 2020, 04:18:42 PM
Numbers from both Primedice and Stake are fine, if you have watched Edward's stream this Saturday you would listen him mentioning some actual stats from when losing money was a thing and now it's back to a positive state. (You can also check Online numbers from chat even if they are bank accounts or multi accounts - meaning Gamblers do care)

About not defending stake anymore that's not true...
I can only reply to questions i have the answers to else i will always forward your doubts to any Support or Edward immediately.

As for my posts, i have to always keep the topic updated on a daily basis twice.
I will always provide useful information by the time I post, meaning if it's not worth for you then i am sorry. (We can not please everyone)
I mean the whole marketing effort, as you are the face here you do get some backlash for that as well. When I said "numbers" I didn't mean profits, which I now know that it was in negative for a while and back on positive again (which I assume could be negative again after this huge fall) so I assume there was something wrong going on, which was my whole point (and no I do not watch Edward).

People not defending was not you, it was other people who are unrelated to stake that doesn't defend anymore but we got two this time, not bad, definitely not good but not bad neither. And by your posts, you are a great guy and I hope very well in your life and do not want to hurt your feelings but sharing the hours and prizes and so forth of competition is not "quality post" or helpful at all, its just information that could basically be written in a code and automized.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] COVID-19 Hits Ethereum Community Conference, Six People Test Positive on: March 17, 2020, 05:08:00 PM
This can turn out to be the worst if the ones who are tested positive attended those conference. Corona virus gets spread much easily in crowd and it could almost cover the entire crowd. It takes 14 to 20 days for the symptoms to show and till that time the virus can spread much wider. This could turn out to be the worst as each and every attendee from the conference might interact with at least 500 persons and it can turn out to be an epidemic.

In my country, this virus is spread out because of the nations visiting other nations like Dubai, USA, China, etc returned home country and this virus started spreading its roots too quickly by infected close ones and the chain started from there. The worst case is that there is no vaccine for such virus.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin was created for time like this! on: March 17, 2020, 04:32:14 PM
Bitcoin is good and I’m happy that Bitcoin is being recognized, but I’m not going to say that what is happening is a blessing, sorry this is not a blessing. This pandemic has killed a lot of people , so it’s not any blessing. Saying that it’s a blessing a seems a bit selfish, because you’re saying it with a focus on the possible profit you will make once the price of Bitcoin starts to go up.

So, this is no blessing and moreover we don’t need situations like this for Bitcoin to grow, without a situation like this Bitcoin is still going to grow and gain adoption. I’m only hoping that the world finds a solution to this problem and end it once and for all.
626  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we agree BTC is not a store of value? on: March 17, 2020, 03:59:12 PM
Listen to this podcast.
https://unconfirmed.libsyn.com/coronavirus-how-it-will-impact-bitcoin-and-the-halving-ep116
However much you want it to be, BTC is NOT a store of value.  It has been a few years since $20K and even now, each peak is smaller than the previous peak.  Probably be $3K by the end of the week.
I’m sorry mate I am still not going to agree to that. What about gold? Everyone keeps saying that gold is a safe haven, but didn’t you see that the price of gold dropped from the over $57k and down to $45k or so (I think a bit above or less that). And yes Bitcoin was also affected, but does that make gold to be anything better than Bitcoin? No! They were both affected so they are probably the same.

If you’re looking for something that can be used as a means for store of value, you should go for whatever you want to use, anything can be used as a store value, as long as it works for you. They can’t be profitable at all times.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: March 17, 2020, 09:17:55 AM
That’s the new thing, though as of recent it seems that the attention of everyone has been drawn away from it to other issues that are more important, like the outbreak that has happened recently. So, nobody is talking about that right now.

But, I’m hoping that things gets better very soon and we can go back to normal things and also talk about this. China announced their cryptocurrency last year and it seemed they have halt the project right now because I have not been seeing any news concerning that as of now. Between Blockchain and cryptocurrency, Blockchain seems to be getting more attention and adoption by a lot of companies these days than cryptocurrency.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 16, 2020, 04:44:20 PM
I ask this because of the corona virus where people are too scared to hold money.

The issue is that we value btc against the usd and other fiat currencies. If fiat currencies were no longer how would bitcoin be valued...inflation etc? Can't get my head around how it would work.
My question is –is Bitcoin the only digital form of payment there is or have you forgotten that there are lots of other methods that are much more recognized? I make use of Bitcoin but I have not been able to use it to purchase anything because there are no places where it’s being accepted. Stores and places I go to are either accepting card payments or PayPal and other similar payment methods like online banking and QR codes scanning methods.

These types of payment methods are way more popular and widely accepted than Bitcoin. I even read news that Chinese people are now making use of WeChat Pay. I think we need create more places where Bitcoin will be accepted to draw people’s attention to it.
629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 16, 2020, 03:58:04 PM
I think you can share your ideas here so we can know if your idea can help people here, and we can also help to spread the idea among the other people in other places. We cannot say that Corona Virus might affect trading because we don't know how big the impact on the crypto market. But if many people in one country have traded in the crypto market, and many of them got infected by the virus, I think they need to recover their health first before they can start to trade again. So if you can help with the vaccine of the Corona Virus, then it will help many people out there who got infected so they can cure themselves.
Even the experts are not yet successful in creating a cure for this virus which is making a lot of people lose their lives. OP should never spread a fake awareness about creating a vaccine for this virus as it might even create a strong hope for the families of the infected ones.

This virus is been declared as a global cause and even the president of the US declared a national emergency for corona virus. Foreigners are been treated as a threat in each of the nation which is almost loosing humanity. Also corona virus has highly infected the stock markets as well as the crypto markets. People are moving their money out from such markets just to be prepared for what comes next.
630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 16, 2020, 03:24:42 PM
Every people start with zero knowledge. They don't have proper skills to trade, but they are still trying to learn more about trading. Some people say trading is hard, but that depends on how they can learn to trade themselves. You are not alone, and I am sure many of us are still learning, and they still got lost, I got lose too. But if we can learn how to analyze the market, I am sure we will get our time to make a profit.

Trading and holding have advantages and disadvantages. Whether we want to trade or hold, we need to have the skills or knowledge, so if we trade, we can make a profit, and if we're going to hold, we need to know which coin is good to hold. The important thing here is you should keep trying to learn about trading and hold because sometimes, hold the coin will be the best option that you can do while the market is not moving anywhere.
Even trading might involve holding as mostly for long term tradings, we need to be patient with our coins in our exchange and try to hold those until we see the price rising again. This is what makes trading and holding somewhere similar.

In short term trades, we might usually buy and sell instantly for profiting some bucks but usually for mid range or long range trading we do have to hold. Holding can give us good and somewhat stable profits as we do not need to panic and sell our coins in those market conditions. Trading might usually create panic in between the traders which might not be good for their health. Even I would prefer holding some top coins rather than trading for short term.
631  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 16, 2020, 10:02:18 AM
People are talking about billions of dollars worth of entertainment here, teams do worth hundreds of millions of dollars at least and the players are getting tens of millions of dollars per year, the advertisements are a lot as well and many other stuff from the hot dog stand outside to team owners but simply I can't even imagine the economics behind it. So, basically when this is suspended like this, I have zero clue what the hell they are going to do with the money part of it, I personally would have suggested a delay of everything a slight bit after it starts back up and keeping it as it is. For example, start the leagues back up on May if everything is better, after that postpone everything a bit but squeeze them closer, players would be tired like hell but at least everything go back to normal next year.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What To Do? (For People Who Mostly Gamble on NBA Games) on: March 16, 2020, 07:03:52 AM
Time to rewatch old seasons I guess. I really have nothing to do atm, and I can't even leave with the quarantine in the area I am at right now. Plus, even the Esports league has moved their events at a later date, which realllyy kinda sucks imo. Time to play some rounds in casinos then play/find some random stuff to do. Can't even try to meetup and play with a few friends cause of the curfew. That, or I'd just take up cooking since I've been curious about it for a very long time, just that I really have no idea how to start it off plus, I don't have much money I can spend on ingredients and the like.
But, you cannot bet on past seasons right  Grin so while you can have fun watching those old seasons and maybe best moments type of videos you cannot gamble on anything right now since NBA has been stopped for corona.

I am myself a big fan of NBA but I am not only restricted to NBA as I also love betting on other sports like tennis (although a lot of tennis matches have been abandoned as well) and I am also a big fan of esports betting so I find some matches there and have fun with them. Look at the end of the day you must have fun with gambling and like you suggested if watching old seasons of NBA can give you entertainment and thrill then you should maybe not look for other sports or betting options but if you feel like you don't have any fun then go for esports I promise you will have fun once you get the knack of it.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be a good idea to gift bitcoin? on: March 15, 2020, 04:41:55 PM
I know it can be very risky because BTC is illegal here in my country but I may not resist myself with doing that. I have planned to create a paper wallet and filled the wallet with my desired amount of BTC and gift it to her.
I was so happy and positive until I read this statement and I honestly suggest you not to gift bitcoins for the sake of legality because your friend might think that you are into some deep web thing or such. I guess the better idea would be to gift her something that you actually buy with bitcoins because really whenever I personally try and explain someone about bitcoins it ends up being bad and they think I am doing something wrong.

Although if your friend is close enough to you and trust you, then go for it, maybe a small gift that will make her remember you for lifetime as price may sometime touch sky high values.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: March 15, 2020, 04:09:51 PM
At this time it is very natural to see the numbers of btc holders increasing, the price is very cheap ones again for those who can afford to buy a whole btc to do so, unfortunately I can't afford to buy 1btc to be among the people but I can some part of it now that the price is very low,
This is good opportunity, people should take advantage if they can afford it not be sad, price will go up again.
Yes and I believe as any price drop happens which is caused by big holders divesting, this actually happens for the good in long term and those bitcoins are then gobbled up various small investors and more the participants better the liquidity and stronger the price walls.

I think there are still lots of big holders and once almost all of them have sold their coins that would be a perfect scenario because then the price swings will be minimal since there will be no one who can manipulate the market alone and there will be some trust in bitcoins from big investors too because right now even a few guys can shake the whole market and investors while like price drop/increase but no one wants to see his portfolio going down by 20-30% every week.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Now Legal In India? on: March 15, 2020, 03:35:13 PM
Blockchain advocates have hailed the recent Indian Supreme Court’s pro-crypto ruling as a landmark for adoption and development. Now, new forces are emerging that seek to put the brakes on India’s rapid embrace of cryptocurrency.  What do you think about the future of crypto in India, guys?
The legalization of bitcoin in India will have a huge impact to the current economy of the market. It might lead to rising up of the price since there are new community that supports the usage of bitcoin. It might encourage also other countries to legalize bitcoin in their country also if they saw the positive impact of it.
I agree and I was also of the same opinion but the price has dropped dramatically since then and there were some rumors that as soon as crypto was legalized there were big whales in India which cashed out their bitcoins which earlier they could not and that caused a sharp drop in the price but I believe as many sellers there are more are the buyers in the market so that rumor just seems to be funny and illogical.

On a funny side, I don't know on behalf of what rules there was a ban on purchase of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies so it is pretty impressive that the governing bodies are working properly and lifted the ban, I wanted to ask a question if bitcoin mining was also legalized or it was already legal? Because if you allow something to be purchased then you cannot ban it's mining either, right?
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple explanation of the crash. on: March 15, 2020, 03:05:44 PM
I do not want to change your mind but consider the follow situation which I believe is the real reason behind the crash that happened. There used to be a scheme that paid paying around 10-15% interest per month and it was fondly known as Plus Token and they have been running quite nicely until recently when they scammed everyone and left behind crying investors and the scam is not a small one, the volumes involved are massive and you might want to read more - https://cryptonews.com/news/plustoken-scam-still-has-btc-61-229-undistributed-report-6010.htm

So while I believe whales and others might have dumped and caused a panic sell but I do believe the main reason behind the drop that happened is the plus token scam scheme that finally ran away.
637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: March 15, 2020, 02:32:36 PM
I don't know how the numbers for stake is doing and if they are still profiting quite well or not. However, it looks like either their own forum worked out or they are not really doing as well as they used to. I mean looking at the topic you will see that most of the messages are either symphonized writing useless stuff that nobody cares about, or people complaining.

I mean symphonized has done that before so that is not the issue here but there is no one defending stake anymore, that is the weird part, normally when a bad thing happens and there is a complaint there would be heaps of people rushing here to defend stake, not anymore. I really do suggest stake getting a good PR person and a marketing team to turn things around or the competition will keep on getting bigger and bigger.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Coronavirus and it’s impact on sporting events - please add on: March 15, 2020, 08:58:52 AM
Being a cricket fan I was following the Corona virus news since sometime and already the ODI series between India vs South Africa (cricket) has been decided to be played in an empty stadium which is in itself a historic decision.

Moving forward I heard that IPL might be cancelled as well for this year and there are rumors that a lot of other cricket events are being cancelled and there are some tennis opens that are now cancelled because of the Corona fear and to avoid public gatherings.

I appreciate such measures but being a sports fan and bettor I am really upset with the delays and cancellation of events.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: Dow Jones Price Drop & The Corona Virus? on: March 14, 2020, 05:50:16 PM
I must appreciate OP for writing about Corona by the end of last January itself. Now I feel the pain of a virus affecting all the economies including bitcoins. The Corona virus has affected a lot of things and people in countries where the situation is worse are now afraid to move outside and everyone is staying indoors. Most companies now wants their staff to work from home. Some experts have even said that the Coronavirus outbreak is likely to be part of what caused the decrease in Bitcoin as of recent.

There have been other things that are being mentioned as well, and Coronavirus is at the top of the list, maybe because it affected world market in general. Really hoping that they find a solution to end this once and for all. I’m still confused about this situation and I’m trying to do more research and understanding what’s going on and how it started.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news for bitcoin from India, should other countries also follow the suit? on: March 14, 2020, 05:11:54 PM
I was too really happy when I read this news that the Indian court has declared Bitcoin legal. All this while I have been worried about the issue because there are some people I work with, and we work remotely and some of them are in India, I was very worried that they might be stopped from having access to Bitcoin, fortunately for us it didn’t happen that way, rather Bitcoin was declared legal. I hope that other countries that have declared Bitcoin illegal should follow the same step and turn Bitcoin to legal. There is nothing wrong with Bitcoin and it should be accepted everywhere in the world.
