621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't bite more than you can chew on: April 20, 2019, 06:36:09 PM
We already knows cryptos is one of the most unpredictable speculative investment so invest on only at your own risk and not any life saving which is needed in near future.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade on: April 20, 2019, 06:03:15 PM
I have no doubts after a few observation but ieos are just an upgrade how ?

Ieos that successfully sold out on binance bittrex and kucoin, can they sold out on latoken? Or dobi trades  ?

Main focus is; in ieos hundreds get to participate , then after ieo is over; it leaves thousands of people eager to get in and be a part of the movement

This causes an upturn in price for few days; then the usual dip that follows ico token after listing takes place too

So what’s the difference exactly ??

NB: just my thoughts ; feel free to modify, suggest and contribute
Project team looking for better way to make money that is why IEOs were in the trend for now and it is same as ICO,if a project is good the people invest on it but when it is promoted by exchanges then chances of getting traffic to that project is high.
623  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Keep religious beliefs personal to promote peaceful coexistence on: April 20, 2019, 05:28:28 PM
Religions were made by us,to show how we need to live our life as community and supporting each other but ow people uses that to dominant over other religion which makes clash among the people.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: April 20, 2019, 05:23:47 PM
Listing doesn't kill a coin. It is usually because of the bounty hunters dumping it or the project itself wasn't worth the shot. Listing rather helps in pumping the price for short term.

I have seen projects with bounty campaigns getting dumped to ground after listing. As bounty hunters doesn't really care for the price. I always suggest projects to rather pay in btc or eth than ruining their projects.
Hunters have enough tokens to dump the prices? Not really it was just used by most of the people but the investors are the reason why prices dumps soon after it listed on exchanges especially the ones who invested only on very short term basis.

627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: April 19, 2019, 06:30:06 PM
I would like to know why people are trusting their luck more in sports gambling compared to other type of games.
Personally, I put bigger bet on sports because I believe I have a little skills that would give me a better chance of winning, but I'm not really serious with sports gambling.
It is not completely luck based so people who believing their skills on the game and betting more. There are some kind of sports where most of the bets were done by millionaires so the money involved in sport betting looks much more than on luck based games.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why IEOs Came Into Existence? on: April 19, 2019, 05:42:24 PM
Have you ever thought of this before?

When I first heard of IEOs from smaller exchanges, I thought they were simply catering to one of the demands of ICO investors which is immediate exchange listing.

Then came the bigger centralized exchanges like Binance, Bittrex, and Kucoin. It somehow made me wonder why would they open up their platform to crowdfunding. Maybe because they also think that the ICO market is dying? If so, then that would mean less new projects. With less new projects, less potential source of income (listing fees).

So in the end, it is still all about the $$$. These exchange are probably afraid of losing one of their major source of income  Grin

What's your take on this?
Yes,the main intention is to make more money from advertising on big exchange and also people will trust more when it is advertised by the big exchange like Binance.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty that paid you some good reward on: April 19, 2019, 05:18:16 PM
Didn't earned much from bitcointalk in 2018 because most of them were scam and the remaining campaigns were filled with participants so we only got few pennies. Now only participating on bitcoin signature campaigns where the payment is less but no need to wait for tokens getting listed.

You can try merit giveaway threads but for that you need quality post history.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 19, 2019, 03:47:33 PM
Here are my solution to growing complained by the bounty hunters regarding KYC.

1. As we all know KYC by its definition. We all know that we aren't obliged to do so. Since no fiat or investment we did to get the tokens which solely the purpose of KYC to monitor the funds ans circulation of token during purchase. Don't comply and don't join bounty with KYC! Simple as that.

2. If youre afraid of KYC asked someone to do it for you and gave him funds in return. I think this is happening on some cases ( But this is form of cheating)

3. Read again step 1. If youre still have complain and still want to join that particular bounty and you are really a nutcracker!
But is this solution worked yet? Still lot of people were joining on the bounties no matter kf KYC asked ir nit because only at the end they find about it and they can't do much for asking abiut this as well.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 19, 2019, 03:39:25 PM
ICOs, or Initial Coin Offerings, have become a popular way for cryptocurrencies to raise funds from the public. However, they have also become an easy way to prey on the vulnerable, and the financial regulator recently warned customers about what it calls “these very high risk, speculative investments”. It warns that there’s little consumer protection and high potential for fraud, as well as high volatility. Some ICOs are regulated by the FCA, but this is on a case-by-case basis, depending on how they are structured.

As the FCA says, you should fully research any ICO before handing over your money. “You should only invest in an ICO project if you are an experienced investor, confident in the quality of the ICO project itself,” a spokesman says. Alternatively, consider investing or trading with a regulated provider.
Blind investors are the reason why scam projects are still launched everyday, they attrafted by the offers and prices but they are nit doing any research about the team or about the whitepaper or even in the scam accusation section but at the end they will blame cryptos for getting scammed.
634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: April 19, 2019, 03:33:18 PM
We could not deny that fact. The binance team has taken all the trust and interest of many traders compared to others because of their transaparrency. Any token that gets listed there will always have a good liquidity because of the active trades and huge volumes and very easy for anyone to take advantage of that.
So Binance is making more money than other exchange rather than saying Binance traders are making more money than other traders.
635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who sell? / How this happens? on: April 18, 2019, 08:21:04 PM
We can see sometimes during trading that a coin dumps to a minimum price and again starts to trade sideways. Today I have seen waves down from 0.0005200 satoshi to 0.0000001 satoshi. You can see this photo:-

So my question is why someone sold their coin at this low price 0.0000001 satoshi? But If He will sell the coin slowly then he can get more BTC.  And who sold the coin? Investor/trader/ The team?
Thanks
When someone selling huge amount of coins for very cheap price then it can be considered as manipulation from whales because chance of making errors at the price is very rare.

639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: April 18, 2019, 06:07:32 PM
If you ask these questions then don't think you know how to trade and if you don't know what to do then it's very risky to start it and you must know you can lose all that money at once so if its your free money then try to make money but be ready to lose money, so don't upset,if it will happen, good luck.
So people who want to be a crypto trader need to be born as crypto trader itself? Not sure how we can learn something if we didn't try it.
640  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electric cigarette yes/no/maybe? on: April 18, 2019, 05:47:47 PM
No to an electric cigarette. I am one of the smokers here in our city and I cannot let our child to inhale any type of smoke that can harm their health. Electric cigarette can also lead in an accident like when sometimes your cigar overheat and then explode.
It is not going to do more harm than inhaling tobacco smokes. Smiley

Anyway smoking is injurious to health even if it done in e cigarette.
