2014 early autumn... colleague at work told us we should all buy hashlets cause its the next big thing... And I bought some... damn... I was lucky enough to nearly get even. But I know a lot of people lost money in this scam... Later I was tricked by some shills on this forum to buy into AMHash scam and this time I lost some... Not much, but still...

Yes - it has happened to me before, but they paid.. I am really thinking to switching to another micro-wallet payment system because of the delays they make, but I still think they will pay you ;] They delayed payment for like 20 days before for me, but they paid in the end and it seems not that they are scammers or smth, but they are just lazy or doesn't give a shit about making on time payments because of other ''important'' things Shame on them for that

I doubt this could even be possible - if the regulations come to the point where they will enforce the code, then there will have to be a radical change, I don't know - maybe some kind of hard-fork change, that we will all jump on because of faith or smth, but bitcoin CANNOT be allowed to be enslaved... Its natural purpose is to get rid of all centralized power and if it fails to deliver that - it has to shift to be able to...

Certain investors might have even roi'ed in this scam, but overall they made profit at the loss of other victims with successful and insightfull trading... GAW did not make money for anyone - they only allowed early investors to profit and shill afterwards at the expense of all other customers... very sad...

Do you really believe anymore in this shit? It's one of the most obvious ponzi scams in the field if you do any research Shame on them.. sorry for the ones who lost money...

And I think it's just the beginning... And if regulations are fundamentally very harsh - bitcoin will not comply... Because it is not just about fees... It's about the idea... Of freedom... And about outgrowing the current system making it obsolete...

I recommend Genesis Mining and HashNest. You can generate a decent profit with any of these companies, and they seem to be 100% legitimate. Cloudminr.io is a possibility, but it's a high risk / high reward situation, so buyer beware. They might be legitimate (well, hashnest, I mean, for sure it's legit..), but I doubt you will roi soon enough (if at all..) with genesis-mining But with genesis you can mine various coins and trade them for profit if you are lucky

If Homero is jailed the price would fall oh so hard like a rock that the coin would become obsolete (not that it's not obsolete now but still..) The only thing that keeps the price so high now is that some people still believe they were not scammed But they were And I was.., with a small amount, I even sold and 10$ plus but still did not make a profit at those bastards

Any plans to add paycon? Since paycoin turned out to be backed by that homero scamming company and removed - you could add a legit paycon Paycoin was a scam!?! (BAC said sarcastically) Appears you have no CLAMS to sell and aren't buying CLAMS either? No, I don't have CLAMS really.. Should I..? I like altcoins, I could buy some, but aren't the only use of them is for some special casino? Not that its too little if that's the case but, you know, btw, where's the best place to buy them - is it at ShapeShift.io? And another question is - where to keep them - just don't tell me to install another wallet on my pc... I'm not accepting this

There is no need to destroy anything Keep your calm If! If btc is to take global dominance the price will rise no matter what It doesn't matter if the price today is 50$ higher or lower There is a big road ahead of us, don't panic There is not too much bitcoins for sure and there will not be too much - be sure about that. There is a problem that there might be too few btc, but I am sure it will be addressed Keep it cool guys Woouw such emoticon, only one question: will you use bitcoin if tomorrow the price will be 100 dollars? Yes or No. I hope you will reply to my question with a full explanation (and please don't use a lot of smilies, thanks). It is a simple answer really I bought some bitcoins so I would be sad a bit about 100$ price, but not that much since I would think the price would go up As to using them I can't even see how that is an issue; that is if you want to USE bitcoin - you can use it no matter the price. Just buy it for a current price and use it for a current price, whats the problem there Ups... those emoticons...

So what is the consensus? Will Paycoin survive or not?
Paycoin will definitely not survive because of a huge pre-mine by a shady-scammy company backing it Paycon might survive as an altcoin.., but it is a bit of kinda meme coin so I don't really know.. it depends i guess.. If paycoin survived it would be such an insult to crypto community - I could not be comfortable using it in future knowing its origins... (well not only knowing, but actually living through them..). Imagine - if a coin that was only ment to scam people in a certain situation was to survive and I am not even talking about thriving.. How would you feel about that

Bitcoin is here to stay, if it will need some changes - they will be implemented. As of now everything is o.k. Sometimes things get tough but what can you expect here... If there is an immminent serious threat that would kill btc I am completely sure btc would adapt, a solution would be found and we're good to go again. In fact I even like it that there is no hurry to ''upgrade'' btc ;] It is good as it is given the global circumstances...

Don't really understand what are you guys arguing about... We are on the same boat, we can do both - accept the part of the stolen money they offer to return and still proceed with legal action against them. I thought about it and I can say that now I even doubt whether they would even play that AmhashLC (25% compensation) card in court because it's a joke. This kind of shit might be functional in their own schemes - havelock etc... but in any court they would be laughed at. I never saw a case where a thief would state that he owes nothing because he has an agreement which says he returned 1 of 3 stolen cars so he can keep the rest for himself

Does dogecoin have a bright future?
I guess no too At one point when I got interested in crypto I even held them expecting price to go up. But as of now this seems to only go down. You see it is a meme coin. And fun aspect aside it has little to no advantages compared to other altcoins. I think if any altcoin will ever even get close to btc - it has to be more innovative than just have a cute dog painting on it All that said is still like this coin and have like a hundred thousand just for fun.

I find it laughable that you wish to report Havelock to badbitcoin.org like that means something.
The owner of badbitcoin openly supports the XPY/paycoin scam amongst others. The credibility of that site is precisely zero.
Agreed badbitoin.org is crappy anyways...horrible layout + shilling for such an obvious scam. I wonder how they will respond after GAW gets owned by the letter agencies? I think they will just remove any info about GAW and will pretend that nothing happened and there was no shilling for this scam. Because their target reader is newbie to btc and he will not know about their past lies, so they don't even care.

Maybe the idea is not worth a separate thread - but yes, of course, we should report havelock to badbitcoin. Not all people know which site is credible and which site has precisely zero credibility It might help some people to decide who is who in this dangerous crypto world. And the level of involvement of havelock in AMHash scam seems bigger than they take the responsibility for it. Btw, did they even apologize for this fiasco to their investors? I think not.

Maybe there is a lot of evidence, its just that we can't find or understand them.. Btw, I heard that gaw miners are funding a space mission with their paycoin (aka peecoin) - maybe they get lucky and find them aliens for us

What is most unacceptable of this ridiculous offer is not only the price, but the infuriating fact that they want us to wait A MONTH FROM NOW and then 5 WEEKS MORE to receive 1/4 of what we invested!!!!!
For AMHASH: I will send the papers to my friends in the Russian government who will in turn send them to their friends in the Chinese gov. and they will fry you as a cat
For HAVELOCK: I will contact Canadian IRS and denounce the whole maneuver to avoid taxes in Canada, and also file a police report against you and your brother.
AirWolf, would you be so kind and merciful to delay frying them as a cat for a few months cause I want to get those 25% they now agree to give back from the stolen money?
