621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 09, 2023, 12:46:51 PM
South Africa or India have the best chances to take the second spot in my opinion. Am expecting South Africa to whitewash the Windies, India to draw or barely win against the Australians and NZ to win against the Lankans.

India need to give it their best since Australia are decimating everything in their way these days. Exciting stuff.
Even right now things are very interesting but for me most chances we will have India in final for the second time and then a good interesting final between Australia and India at The Oval which will be favourable for the Australia because mostly India is struggling here.

South Africa can whitewash to West Indies and New Zealand will be winner at home against Sri Lanka which could be ended for the both teams because most chances India will be won against Australia without any big trouble things looking positive for them at home for this series even Australia is also having positive results in last few series which bring them to the top of the WTC league table.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: January 08, 2023, 09:23:58 PM
Team should seriously work for developing the project. Though it is a memecoin but it has a good community support. It needs some use cases for increasing the people who are interested. False promise won't bear good result for this memecoin. I think there are a lot of potentiality if team take this project seriously.
With the team constantly working hard to develop the project plus having a good community it sure is a good mix,
definitely not easy to get people to be interested in the project,
I hope the team can make a breakthrough in developing
Shiba team definitely trying to build something NOW, but the problem is that they had absolutely nothing when they grew so big, and people invested just because of the hype and nothing more.

This means, in order to reach the old levels they used to be, not only we need a big bull run that increases the prices of everything high again, but it also requires Shiba to have something developed to make it cool again. They intended to be "the" ecosystem for all the meme projects, but they are not there at all right now. I am guessing that it's going to take a while for them to actually find something nice, and that means it's going to be pretty difficult for them to get high.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase? on: January 08, 2023, 08:12:10 PM
It is still unthinkable to give a seed phrase to your wife even though she is a person who has pledged allegiance as a life partner in life. What if one day a romantic relationship turns into a mess that eventually leads to divorce.
Instead of giving something as precious as a seed phrase to your wife, it's better to look for other alternatives to be safer.
It's normal for a couple to experience some fights and misunderstandings at some point of their married life but we should try our best to not break the relationship that we build for years most especially if we already have children because this will affect them badly and other than that, we should remember that we already shared our keys to our wife. In case a divorce can happen then your coins will be in danger.

I am sure we don't want that to happen. You can say that we can give other alternatives to our wife. It can be our bank account or the key to our vaults but I think it's hard to keep our cryptos in our own self as wives will try to investigate if what their husbands are doing. They will always found out about your cryptos later on.
624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 08, 2023, 06:38:23 PM
The more I learn I am kind of coming to conclusion that trading in the long run is not profitable. I mean I don't know any single person who is doing decent amount of money for living by trading in crypto. Hence the question: do you know anyone who is successful trading in crypto? or are you doing well by trading crypto?
Well, I agree that it's hard to find people who are able to make money consistently in the long run by crypto trading but I do know some personally who have done it and are doing it quite successfully. I tell you a secret today, those who are actually making money by trading will never say so because they know they are making money and they don't need to sell the idea or seek others approval.

Trading is just like any other money making idea, you need to apply yourself and actually learn the strategies, tools, etc and practice them with smaller amounts. With any profession you need a degree and years of knowledge similarly with trading if you have to actually make money you will have to take it seriously and learn about it in depth. People trying to learn trading overnight are actually soft gambling.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 08, 2023, 08:06:31 AM
For sure it would really be having those different stories because there would be people whom do find out that it was effective and working but most of the time then it would be sure that it wouldnt be something that
you could rely on.Its really just indeed the real thing that if these things were effective on the first place then lot or all of bookies and platforms would really file up some bankruptcy since lots would really be
milking out these places and this do proves out that it cant just be possible. It is really just on someones choice whether they would be using it or not.
I actually have asked it some specific questions and it was honest, to be fair, and said that it was just programmed and answers that it produces couldn't be perfect and accurate at some times.
Even if there are no disclaimers like that, we people already know that they are not perfect and it was still a new thing right? So, this bot still needs a lot of improvement to run better. At the mean time, if we want to do something more effective, then it should be the done in the old fashioned way.

I still think that bots like this are created for other things and not necessarily to help people to win on gambling, to help them finish their daily jobs, to do their homework in school, etc. Imagining it would be crazy. Technologies are so amazing and no doubt helpful but people shouldn't cross their limits and abuse what these technologies can do as it can only cause more harm than good.
626  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 07, 2023, 08:48:22 PM
Sponsorship could be a huge role for stake.com to get their casino become the biggest crypto casino, but also the way they handle its users in any case be it withdrawals and also every complaint that appears plays an important role.
Sponsorship makes stake increasingly known in many sports matches so that they attract a lot of users and the way they take care of business keeps these users at stake because they are satisfied with everything they get, and it's all supported by the large capital they have so they have many strategies to make it even bigger from time to time.
yes, of course every casino needs people who are smart with marketing and know how to promote this casino, Stake has a good team in promoting their casino, not just sponsoring it because Stake has done a lot to become famous even though they have to spend a lot of money to run each their campaign, but they managed to get satisfactory results
I think they were already good with it on the core team and that's what made it work. When they first started, and I mean like even the very first day of primedice, they knew how to do marketing but didn't had that much money, not as much as they have with Stake at least. Of course through the years they made thousands of bitcoins in profit, even the Hufflepuff thing didn't make them bankrupt, and eventually they got enough money to grow their marketing to these levels.

But, even on the very first day they were always great and amazing. I believe that their future is insane, they will put the name of Stake everywhere that accepts casino brands, won't stop anywhere.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: January 07, 2023, 06:58:46 PM
Aside the advantages of playing on home turf and all, Nantes have been awful recently while Juventus seem to have gotten their form back and even have a shot at the league. To me, Juventus would win easily. In fact they'll win both legs of that tie. Nantes is no where near where Juventus is right now. If the match took place when Juventus where in a poor form then Nantes would have stood a chance but right now they're currently 15th on the league table. Their last win against Auxerre was their first win in 6 matches.  I really don't see how their going to qualify ahead of Juventus in the Europa league.
Most chances Juventus will pass through this early test in the UEFA Europa Cup because they have enough quality for giving punishment's to team like Nantes which is already near the relegation zone in French Ligue 1 and Juventus form is amazing with seven matches winning streak and conceding no goal in these all matches mean they are doing more than expectations hopefully they could be considered this event as good priority because with this spirit they will be able to perform good and having positive result in this match and event.

Even at home any team can shock opponent but still for the team like Nantes could be the toughest job because their quality is not near the team like Juventus which is now third in the Serie A.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2023, 06:01:26 PM
Sri Lanka’s batting drastically fall down with a target of 228 runs. Such a situation is also normal when the target is big. The Indian team's bowling action was superb. In this moment everyone's attention fallen in Suryakumar Yadav. He scored 112 runs off 51 balls as well as a century in the T20 format. He ended the innings unbeaten with 219 strikes. May be he will be awarded as the man of the match. Sri Lanka scored 137 runs and India team won by 91 runs.
While you are chasing target like this with mostly Lankan's batting is also new feel pressure and goes down badly it's nothing new happen but today surely Indian batting were amazing specially T20i no 1 batsman SKY was at the top of his game amazing stuff from this clean hitter allows India to have target like this while after having target of 200+ bowlers were also done amazing stuff specially experienced Chahal and young Arshdeep both having good time in bowling which give good boost to this youngster side hopefully now this success will give them good confidence for the future, and they will be able to have more success in this format in coming years under Hardik Pandya's leadership.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 07, 2023, 02:36:09 PM
Sassuolo is indeed not ready to contribute fully to the Serie A League, but at least Sassuolo is trying to perform well and provide full support by continuing to play in this league even though they know that the opponents they face are not easy and very difficult to beat. Hopefully, they will have the opportunity to compete with the big clubs in the coming season.
Sassuolo is surely having trouble and want to change their strategy which give them better results in last five matches they have only one point which is clearly indicating they can go down, but now they have match against unpredictable Fiorentina which was in bad shape in early rounds of this season.

Before the break have good fight back, but now things are not looking positive because after break they have first match at home against Monza, but this ends in a draw even they have early lead now today they are facing another weaker side Sassuolo which is the worst by their form hopefully things could be better for them, and they will try to beat them by good margin which will help them for having positive development for the future in this season.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 07, 2023, 07:16:04 AM
I always have bad luck with gambling, and last year was no different. I always like to play sports betting casino is not my thing, but this year I want to focus on casinos.
I will just test out my luck this year and will play casinos more regularly along with sports betting.
No you are not unlucky but you simply lack knowledge and experience on the sport that you are betting. If only the type of gambling that you play is casino then being unlucky is a valid term. Even though sports betting mainly relies in knowledge and experience, losing can still be inevitable sometimes but that was fine as long as your winning rates are still higher than 50 percent.

This ensures that you aren't only burning money but you are still gaining something. It's great that you will go out of your comfort zone and try something new but you shouldn't think that playing in casino can give you a better win than in sports betting but they are great only if you want to have fun.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 06, 2023, 09:53:01 PM
Mercedes claims that they got a new fuel from Petronas, which means that it's going to be easier to run faster while spending less fuel. This could be a huge huge advantage for them because most teams take care of their fuel so it doesn't end before the race ends, if you could run full speed all race without caring about fuel that would be insane benefit.

I am not sensing it would be that big of a difference, but even just a big, even 0.1 per lap is a huge thing in F1 as we all know. Three is like 5km top speed difference as dominating others, so 0.1 second faster would mean big help. All three at the top doing their best to be fair, that's just good for us viewers.
632  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁XMAS PARTY for $1 200 000| Win Mercedes-Benz G-Class & Crypto😎 on: January 06, 2023, 08:23:50 PM
I also don't agree if the faucet is used as a promotion. because people who come here will only rely on the free faucets without making a deposit. even though the gambling platform needs funds for the development of the platform, unless the platform has been around for a long time and already has many customers and provides faucets to attract more customers that would be even better.
but in my opinion for Betfury there is really no need to include a faucet on the platform, just by promoting a signature campaign later it will be able to develop like other large gambling platforms.
The sad part is that betfury already lets us to make some money via the BFG token, and that means if they also give out on the rewards like this, and we can see the huge xmas rewards and now faucets, that all comes out of their own pockets probably. And that means we are not going to really get anything that would be developing this website any further.

I know it is not that common to expect casinos to constantly grow, because they just build it and then most of it is marketing after that which is what they are doing. But that doesn't mean that we should not be expecting them to make good profits neither, if they do that then it would help us too.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: January 05, 2023, 09:14:02 PM
Let us begin the fun of 2023 by guessing what would be the highest bitcoin price in 2023.
Yeah, it fun still for me it is surprising to see people being so pessimistic about the price. I get that around 30-40k as the highest is still quite good, and that's the majority because people said those two as highest two, but that still is a bit pessimistic, not many people see 50k+ as a possibility neither as it seems.

I am not saying that we will be there, but at the very least we should be hoping for such a thing in the long run as well. I feel like we are living in a situation where people are overreacting to the bear market and lost all hope about it. I am not saying it should be horrible or anything but it should be at the very least be a bit more optimistic about what could potentially happen.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: January 05, 2023, 06:41:21 PM
According to you your TA looks so unreliable to be trusted. I meant you can draw whatever you want but the market is still remain unpredictable at this moment. I meant look at how bitcoin just like losing its volatility in the market. Ethereu will not move to the somewhere if bitcoin was not doing anything. So, which factor that makes you think your drawing was reliable? The bearish market has become the new trend since last year and people were dropping crypto and moving toward another instrument. This is also happening so many times in the crypto. The volume drop was meant nothing as people prefer to hold their assets rather than trade it for crypto
The OP already admits that he isn't an expert, which is why his drawings are kinda messy but even if it's perfectly drawn. What you said there is still going to matter. There will still be a chance that the market will move on its own or will move randomly. Again the OP admit this on his last sentence but still pushes that it's better to use TA's.

Well, I think there is better than TA's and that is no other than FA or fundamental analysis because this is based on real-time events which mostly have happened already. Eth looks weak, that is because we are still in the bear. Even the most known strongest coins like BTC aren't also exempted to it but we shall not worry as this soon shall pass.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The founder of Clucoin just quit after admitting to have gambled investors fund on: January 04, 2023, 06:33:05 PM
Link to his post
http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1ss7f8q

He got addicted to gambling and lost even the investors money to gambling. He plans to soon announce his next moves related to crypto projects he was involved with including Clucoin.

If you have not heard about the coin, he is coinmarketcap link https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/clucoin/

Now I do not know how many people invested in this project but whoever showed trust in it is now cheated.

Lesson here is not to trust every other new altcoin. Only invest in solid projects.
So, it was a coin? I thought it was some kind of an exchange because its name sounds like kucoin (a well known crypto exchange ) I didn't check the link yet so idk but maybe one of their plans later on is also to build an exchange however its great that they have been busted out too early. If not then a lot of people are going to invest on them and this could be the next big thing after the FTX because there are stories that the founder of FTX do also got involved in gambling.

This could be one of the reason on why they use the money of their customer and losses it all. They aren't an old project either so let's not only judge the new coins here shall we.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 04, 2023, 06:06:25 PM
Sports betting relies more on analysis than luck to win.  Because if you have a good knowledge of the game then you can predict which team is playing well and which team is most likely to win.  And it is very easy to do and if you have good knowledge about the sports then surely your prediction will work very well here.  And you will win your bet very easily. And because of this I love sports betting the most and feel more comfortable betting here.
He shouldn't say that he is luckier then, but what truly gives him a win is his knowledge in that specific sport however I wouldn't say that it was easy because I believe there are no sports bettor who has a 100 percent winning rate and even the big bettors like drake for example. I think most of us see his bets in stake and there are times when he still loses.

I don't think he isn't knowledgeable or has less experience in the sports that he is betting on because he is risking huge money (millions/billions) every time he places a bet. This is why we shouldn't be overconfident sometimes and it will be better if we will just use the money that we can afford to lose easily.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: January 03, 2023, 05:41:53 PM
As many cryptocurrency investors, I also think hard capitalist controls are always bad. Boomerang effect should be considered. People may hate to be taxed through gambling, and may move all their funds through crypto currencies later. I think it can hit gambling taxes hard over time if all people turns to crypto.
So I think, cashless casinos are bad idea even if it may have positive effects like protecting minors etc.
Tax is normal and has a purpose but it must be charged properly and not thru gambling because this was only the time when people enjoy and relax. If the reason why they want gambling to be cashless is because of taxations then you might be right that people will be forced to switch on cryptos which is a good thing for the investors because this can make the price rise.

You should not worry too much because people are still going to pay their taxes in the common/usual way and also not all people are going to switch on cryptos, for some reasons like they find it complicated. When it comes to protecting minors, I think they can actually play now if they will use a crypto but not if they will play locally since they can be spotted easily.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin to look out for on: January 03, 2023, 02:49:52 PM
honestly considering the fact that coins like eth, bnb, and similar good rank coin are plummeting so hard in term of value you could easily figure out that investing in newer coins might seems less good decision since you could just make profit when these coin make recovery. still investing in new coin sometimes could bring good fortune, it's still a good choice nevertheless, but I think new coin that's good is matic, at least it has same potential like eth if you analyse.
Matic isn't a new coin but this coin was released on 2017. That was 5 years ago but many of us didn't pay attention to it before. The coin only gained popularity by the time ETH have experienced an issue in its fees. People are then looking for alternatives and matic is one it. Overall, matic was still a worthy investment. The coin haven't pumped too much so I expect there are more to come from it.

A much older coin like ETH and others are falling hard right now but it shouldn't be a reason for us to look for other alternatives. There might be some coins who are shining during this bear but this are only temporary. We shouldn't fall for this trap because once we got in, these coins will only fall down and won't recover anymore.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: January 02, 2023, 07:48:03 PM
A lot of people would likely choose to be a boss of their own but the truth is not everyone can run a business. As an employee, you have little decision making to do hence you're not liable to take risks that can make or mar the success of the organisation.
That would serve as advantage for people who have problem deciding when face with the fear that whatever decision they make may bring their whole business down.
Yeah, a whole lot of people would likely choose to be their own boss cause they think it’s a rosy and easy path to becoming successful. Well, it may be a rosy and easy path now, but that wasn’t always the case.
Having and managing a startup is never easy. It takes a whole lot of time, effort and a shitload of capital in order for the startup to actually stay afloat.

Not everyone could successfully start and manage a business as it takes a certain skill to be able to manage a business and people(employees). Knowing that there are bigger and better competitors out there would deter most people not to delve into business.
I think there is a good distinction of why people want to be their own boss, and we are missing one important aspect of it. Not many people want to be their own boss because they want to have more money and think it's easy to do so, most do it because they overgrown the place they work at and can't find a CEO job neither, and won't be paid what they truly worth (or at least in their mind) and that is why they want to open their own business.

Let's be honest, these days workers are underpaid almost everywhere, so if you could start a job related to the business that you do, then you could make a lot more, yes it will be harder, but it would at least mean more money and would worth how much you work, even if you fail, at least it would be because of you.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: January 02, 2023, 06:15:41 PM
Not only unsafe, but it is also so lame as an idea. Gambling sites that are to be trusted with our money are not many, and the regulations of the industry are still weak as far as I am concerned, except for some that are in advanced countries. Regardless, it is safe to keep our coin in our trusted wallets, not with the gambling site that could do and undo it.

So gambling sites are even involved in some shady deals like money laundering and others, such will not have a conscience in stealing your money too. Aside from that, what if the government overseeing their domain now shot it down, then your money is gone just like that.
It is lame if you will use it like a wallet when there is already a crypto wallet but not really lame when you do it for a purpose like you are earning some dividends but I salute those who have a balance inside the gambling site that is unused for a very long time.

This only means that these people can defy the temptation caused by gambling. If only regulations are strong in crypto gambling then scam gambling sites will get lessened but I think this is being worked out now. Have you noticed that KYC's are now being implemented left and right? But maybe after this, many people will be confident to store their money thinking they are now safe.
