621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 04, 2017, 05:38:03 AM
I felt terrified when I was going to buy altcoin, because bitcoin continued to peak and I think altcoin will continue to throw away so I feel confused to determine the exact moment to buy some altcoins.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Car Taxi ico on: November 04, 2017, 05:31:57 AM
cartaxi does not seem to be a scam, but it just does not reach hardcap. should the bounty hunter be grateful to have his share even if not as expected.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin going on fire! on: November 04, 2017, 05:24:29 AM
bitcoin goes on a rampage and seems to be going up to the top until the end of the year, this is a happiness for btc holders.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: November 04, 2017, 05:21:13 AM
Attention ! The winner who invested in Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December.
I have doubts about what you have said. because many people think that doge coins will die and it has already started by continuing to throw away the price of doge in recent months.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why most alt coins price is dropping down? on: November 04, 2017, 05:10:07 AM
the only reason why altcoin goes down is because bitcoin peaks. it makes a lot of people sell their altcoin and do buy and sell bitcoin.
now most altcoin is red and not just altcoin you invest.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt buying time on: November 04, 2017, 05:02:30 AM
it is very difficult to predict the future without any information that can be a pedestal. personally I have not dared to buy altcoin and better wait and be a little more patient to determine the right time.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta strange trades! Please try to help me solving this mistery on: November 04, 2017, 04:46:50 AM
honestly I am just like you, I do not understand with etherdelta so I very seldom do buy and sell in etherdelta especially etherdelta errors often occur and slow to renew, it makes me very dizzy.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to choose a good ICO ? on: November 04, 2017, 04:04:29 AM
try to check their official website and check all the information they provide from team start, project objectives, whitepapers, and you should be able to read community feedback on the project.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin gold ? on: October 24, 2017, 11:55:18 PM
it's not hard to get BTCGold, you just need to do a Bitcoin hod that you have on one of the exciters that support Bitcoin Gold. and you will get Bitcoin gold with a ratio of 1: 1. bursa bittrex and yobit already support.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold is useless on: October 24, 2017, 11:50:26 PM
This is very alarming for those who hold Bitcoin just to get Bitcoin Gold. BTG price is dropping very quick so useless for those who hold their bitcoin just to get BTG.
why are you saying that?
I think BTG is very profitable, especially if we are a trader, BTG can give us big profits. and also because we get it for free Grin
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do altcoin bounties crash the price? on: October 24, 2017, 11:47:15 PM
It seems most ICOs fall below their ICO price shortly after they're listed on an exchange. This seems to be mostly due to pre-sale bonus investors and bounty hunters selling off their tokens rather than panicked ICO investors. I think it is far more ethical for new project teams to pay bounties in BTC/ETH rather than their token, and to not allow huge pre-sale bonuses, as both these things in my eye corrupt the value of a token. I've decided I'll no longer join any ICOs that utilize either of the above two practices.

If you've invested in a few ICOs, then I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.
it's true a lot of altcoin nasty price after entering the exchanger because it always experienced a dumper by the hunters of the prize so they decreased to much below the ico price. maybe i will also think the same thing with you.

633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you keep track of your wins/losses ? on: September 18, 2017, 03:53:02 AM
I personally use a spreadsheet but I'm sure there are better way to do it.

Do you know any good websites/apps to do it?
it seems like the way you do is also good. I usually monitor my advantages and disadvantages by taking notes on paper making it easier for me to view my trading history on a daily basis.
634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you lost today, including profits. on: September 18, 2017, 03:50:02 AM
a few days ago I lost 50% of my money, when Bitcoin price throw away and make all red altcoin. until now I'm still trying to do a hold with the coins I have. in the hope that everything will come back to normal.
635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: September 18, 2017, 03:36:44 AM
I think the fastest way to grow bitcoin is by trading, despite the risk of losing but it is quite promising and unlike gambling that has little chance.
636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoin with BTC ? on: September 18, 2017, 03:29:55 AM
Hi all,

Do you trade altcoin with BTC or fiat ? (or USDT)
Why did you choose this option ?

Thanks Wink
I honestly do both, trading altcoin using bitcoin and fiat. I always compare the price if do trade by using btc and fiat, if one of them give advantage then i will choose it.
637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 18, 2017, 03:25:09 AM
Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
there are only 2 things you can do when the price falls.
1. You hold it and wait for the price to go back to the original regardless of the time period, even if it will keep you waiting for a long time
2. You do cut lose and are willing to lose some of your money, when you feel panic and fear if the price will not go back up.
638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading strategy? on: September 18, 2017, 03:15:13 AM
at first I was trading with the capital I was able to lose, then I searched for more information and news about coin, so I did not lose any updates on the information. I hold a coin only if the price is throwing away, and I will sell when I feel the profit.  Wink
639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My answer to the big question of Hodling on: September 18, 2017, 03:10:40 AM
The question is when to sell of course. Because eventually you do have to sell something to realize any profits. My strategy is outlined below, let me know what you think and feel free to share yours. Mine has not been tested as I'm still fairly new to trading and should not be taken as investment advice.
First and foremost, i only invest with money i can afford to lose and only into projects i have throughly researched.  What I plan to do is buy  and hodl until the price is 2X. Then sell half, essentially giving me back my initial investment, anything I sell afterward is pure profit.
I hodl again until  the price reaches 10X. Then sell 20%, giving me a 100% return on my investment again. This would be my first actual profit. I hodl again until the price reaches 100X. Then sell 20% again, giving me a 800% return on my investment.
I hodl again until the price reaches 1000X. Then sell half my remaining balance, giving me a 1600% return on my investment. At this point I would still retain 16% of my original balance and have recieved a 169X return overall on my investment. Obviously I would have to get in early on a coin/asset and still then wait years potentially to see the returns I want. I'd have my stop loss set at 75% of the orginal price until my first selling at 2X and 50% of the original price there after.

So that's my plan, how's it sound? Obviously I could hodl for the 1000X the entire time, but I feel this is a nice way to lock in some profit early while still holding for the long haul.

I like your strategy, but you only talk if the price increases up to several times, I wonder what would you do if the price throws away? will you teus do hodl and ready to lose? or you will do cut lose?
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: September 18, 2017, 03:07:07 AM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
yes that's true, even more so in trading you should be more able to control your emotions and do not easily panic, because in trading profit and loss is quite common thing.
