621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Now! delay 1 second and lose 1 dallor. on: August 10, 2017, 10:36:32 PM
Bitcoin all time high was over $3500 and current price is around $3408, consider it as a discount to buy bitcoin because sooner or later the price will increase more than $4000 level, especially after segwit be activated. Maybe, most people are waiting until bitcoin get correction, but look at the price movement right now, it's steady and slowly, not on rally obviously which usually ended to crash. Another chance to buy bitcoin at cheaper price is in November if segwit2x chain split really happen.
622  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-09] Upcoming Bitcoin Core Client Will Disconnect SegWit2x Nodes Automat on: August 10, 2017, 10:01:47 PM
If segwit2x hard fork likely to happen due to core developers have no intention to support 2Mb block size and most miners agreed to signaling segwit2x. Then, there is nothing we can do about it, just choose the best nodes and it's look like many people will support the most profitable coin which gain the support of the hashrate majority.
623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Segwit2x Hard Fork a fact? on: August 09, 2017, 11:59:05 PM
Maybe yes, and maybe no, depend on how much blocks will signaling segwit2x. But, according to https://coin.dance/blocks, Segwit2x (intention) has reached 92,2%. Since core developers don't want to support 2Mb hard fork, then the new idea is Bitcoin Core 0.15.0 which automatically disconnect nodes running Bitcoin-ABC and the Segwit2x fork. So, hard fork likely to be happen in November and we will have another bitcoin chain split.
624  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ATM Profibility? on: August 09, 2017, 11:18:58 PM
Hi, I am just trying to figure out how profitable if at all Bitcoin ATM operators are in my state. I live in Georgia, United States and I know there are a good bit of Bitcoin ATMs in the northern part of Georgia and I am interested in possibly buying one and putting it in my part of the state which is Middle, Georgia. But I would like to know how much the ones in the northern Georgia area make first before I decide on whether its worth doing or not. If anyone has any statistics on this or know where I can find the statistics then please comment and let me know. Also I do not know if this section of the forum is the right place for this thread so if it needs to be moved please move it. Thank you and I hope to hear from you all soon.

I don't how is it going in North Georgia and I hope someone in there could tell you, maybe you can find out by yourself, by contacting someone who has bitcoin ATM for at least 6 months or years, so you can figure out how much it costs and how much profit it can make.
Meanwhile, you may check this site https://www.atmmarketplace.com/news/12-months-on-bitcoin-atms-are-making-money/, this is an old article from 2014, but you may have a picture about this business.
Internal Lamassu surveys show that standard cash-to-bitcoin locations are averaging $20,000 in transactions per month, while prime locations are averaging $40,000–$60,000 per month. With an average commission of 5.5 percent, operators are looking at $1,000–$3,000 in gross profit monthly for each of their machines.
625  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-08] Dear Bitcoin: I’m Sorry, Fees Will Rise on: August 08, 2017, 11:40:31 PM
I consider bitcoin fees are expensive if more than 150 sats per byte, and my last transaction 3 days ago, just paid 112 sats per byte, very cheap I thought.
I didn't realize how long it takes to be full confirmed but maybe around an hour, still faster than bch and I didn't mind about it.
Right now there are over 29K unconfirmed transactions and I know the fees already increase, but segwit suppose to solve this problem, and we have 2 weeks before it will be activated.
626  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: search Investor for Next Generation of money: Coincard on: August 08, 2017, 05:26:57 PM
Next generation of money is already here, its called bitcoin, a digital currency.
Well, to gain more investors, you need some translator or at least translate it into English language.
I don't want to read someone who offer steemit article, moreover I don't understand if not in English.
However, good luck with your project and I am waiting for a translated article about it.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is unstoppable on: August 08, 2017, 03:17:02 PM
Every uptrend has a end, if u can go out befor it Drops under ur pruchase Price its okey, problem u cant read Bitcoin Chart like an normal Chart on stockexchange, and another Problem its not forbidden to manipulate(and whales can do it easy), and bc u all say Banks suck and goverment etc. etc. Yes they do some shit too and sometimes scam us all, but on the other side they protect u from even harder scams.
Like it happens here, and again a non regulated System  fucks poor peopels even harder.
What are you doing in this forum man? talking about bitcoin as a way to get scammed? simply because its not regulated?
Look at Japan and South Korean, their govs have regulated bitcoin, even in USA already did I believe, but not as a currency.
Whales can manipulate bitcoin, but only a few people will follow them and bitcoin will recover again, fluctuations happen everyday, it is a normal day, if you don't want to get involved, DON'T.

And another Thing is, this massive gains make "the hated" goverment watch at Bitcoin more and more closely, and when they regulate it ( they allready talk about it in eu and us), all the rich peopels which wanted to scam the poor ones will leave Bitcoin( they dont want a regulated system with rules bc they dont get richer with it that easy)
Then Bitcoin can be a normal payment method, but its not worth that much anymore and will not pumb and dumb like hell.

We know there are some country already banned bitcoin as a digital currency, but Which goverment you mean that "hate" bitcoin? and what the impact to bitcoin right now? Nothing. Whether those government accept bitcoin or not, this technology will continue to develop even further.
628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HUGE BTC rise and XRP dip on: August 07, 2017, 11:46:33 PM
So today the price of Bitcoin was $2900 and it has rose to $3140 within 3 hours and on the other hand XRP was 0.000063 btc and had a huge dip to 0.00005500 btc. The price fluctuations were good and i hope traders made profit from it.
I am thinking to make a long term investment in Ripple. Can somebody suggest me is it a good investment and where to store the coins.

Yes, just buy it, because XRP will rise again. Spend money that you are willing to lose, because there is no guarantee you can make profits through ripple, but the chance to get it, quite big. On the other hand, bitcoin price keep growing and it may not stop until some point, maybe around $4K. When people start to extract big profits, people will panic sell and that's the time for altcoins rise. Because the money from bitcoin, will spread to altcoins again.
629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: August 07, 2017, 11:26:45 PM
Many people underestimate bitcoin, only $3500 and it need another year? Bitcoin will reach $4000 and even over $5000 in this year due to segwit will be activated and solve the major scale problems. The all time high is $3400, and I guess it will reach $3500 today. There are several reasons why bitcoin could reach those prices, and the most reasonable is bitcoin being used as a currency, just like any other fiat currencies even though it need more time to achieve that. Next year, I would like to see bitcoin reach $10,000.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: At Only $500 on: August 07, 2017, 11:10:49 PM
Now this is a very theoretical question: What if one day Bitcoin would crash and within days it would go back to its $500 level...would you still support Bitcoin and HODL it or would you decide that it is becoming worthless and also join the sell market?

The thing is, bitcoin won't ever drop back to $500 again, the last crash proven it held on $1800 as the lowest price, reluctant to go further down.
But, if bitcoin somehow crash and fall to $500, maybe because something - big problem, I won't buy it unless it won't fall even further. I will buy back, but at the lowest point obviously, as I know bitcoin will recover to the ATH and rise again. No doubt about it.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit Activation Tomorrow 8th August 19:50 UCT on: August 07, 2017, 10:46:08 PM
You're right, really excited about this. There is no chance for daily traders spread a misleading news and trying to dump bitcoin for now obviously.
Because people know what will happen in this month, bitcoin will be on bull run again, maybe.
I guess bitcoin could reach $4000 in this month and people will be tempted to sell their bitcoin, and regret it later.
Do not sell your bitcoin, unless you really need to, don't have any other options.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 07, 2017, 10:28:59 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

Somehow, I really like people who admit their mistakes in the past, just like you did.
Since the first time I knew about bitcoin, my heart so interested about this technology, maybe because its price already higher than in 2009-2010.
But, I don't know, if I knew bitcoin since 2009, would I believe it? whether I would invest $1000 to retire in the future? I am not sure about it.
633  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-07] Bitcoin hits historical maximum while BCH hacked on: August 07, 2017, 03:41:57 PM
Bitcoin has reached over $3400 mark and will continue to rise, just like was expected for bitcoin cash that give free cash for everyone who sell it and poor for them who believe in it and they might regret the decision to bought bch. Meanwhile, free cash flow into bitcoin and now we've seen the result of it.
Bitcoin cash maybe has a chance to stand up again, but for now it has to bend the knee to bitcoin, the first of its name Cheesy, the King of cryptocurrency. Grin
Dracarys.
634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your current strategy? on: August 07, 2017, 10:35:36 AM
The strategy still the same all the time,
- Buy at the dip and do not sale when people panic sell
- Treat bitcoin as my long term savings, so just sell small portion when I need cash.
- Never tried cryptodabbler before, what is it? something that make your coin doubled? Most of them are scam
- Never risk bitcoin for daily trading, if you don't know how to.
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy bitcoin on: August 07, 2017, 06:26:27 AM
Is it the best time to bu bitcoin now? Or should i wait for it to drop a bit?

Current price is the All Time High, almost $3300 and look at OKCoin $3389 when I write this.
The rules are, buy whenever bitcoin price decline and sell at higher point. So, if you ask me, do not buy what you can't afford to lose, I mean you can buy bitcoin at current price but just a little amount such as 0.1BTC. Because after reach the highest peak, it will fall down maybe less than $2900 again. At that time, you can buy as much as you want.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: August 07, 2017, 04:59:52 AM
Bitcoin is promising currency, but somehow because of it's volatile value. How can bitcoin help the community? especially the 3rd world country.

The question is > how community help to develop bitcoin to gain mass adoption? not how bitcoin help the community because it just a digital currency.
We need to spread the words about the advantages of bitcoin all over the world, get more adopters, more retailers, merchants, business and companies to accept bitcoin payment. Especially in 3rd world country have to find a way to earn bitcoin, if more people use it and the value increase, then holding 1BTC mean a lot of amount for daily expenses.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain (FULL) on: August 07, 2017, 01:59:04 AM
Is there any one who noticed the jump of invested money to the ICO yesterday apart from me? Yesterday the total investment amount was $7.135 million and now the amount is $7.97 million. I think this is thanks to BTC investors. After BCC they invested their BTC or they sold BCC and invest their BTC to DIMCOIN ICO.

And today has reach $8,495,306 seems more people keep support this project, don't be late as we're on Third phase > Dimcoin give 15% bonus that will end on the 12th of August 2017.

Finally received my coins + token. so happy to getting into my wallet. Thanks Team Dimcoin. Looking for bright future.

I am wondering about this, and I guess dimcoin tokens distributed in the end of every phase. So, all you need is to be patient.
Everything will be paid off for everyone who invest on Dimcoin, they're just too busy regarding development right now.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcion and Segwit2x on: August 06, 2017, 11:22:54 PM
Segwit2x is a proposal that was intended for scale solution, to upgrades the bitcoin protocol which will be deployed based on Segwit 2Mb proposal.
According to New York Aggrement on May 2017 as the first time Segwit2x being planned, Segwit will be activated at 80% threshold signaling at bit 4 and upgrade to 2Mb (hard fork again) on November (if I didn't miscalculate).
How segwit 2x affect bitcoin price? You should know there are several advantages of Segwit, you can read in here https://bitcoincore.org/en/2016/01/26/segwit-benefits/
All those advantages expected to upgrade bitcoin and makes people could transact bitcoin easily than before.
639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 06, 2017, 03:55:08 PM
One of the biggest trust I have read here, thanks OP for sharing your opinion here, I think this thread must be pinned to avoid seing crying faces of another unsuccessful traders.

I agree, his experience in trading should be a lesson for other newbies who think that easy to make profit through trading.
Bitcoin really has advantages which makes it growing bigger over time, so no need to panic if its price drop back because in the end it will always recover.
We've been going through all this years with bitcoin and the cycle always repeated, keep holding your bitcoin and it will worth even more as time goes on.
640  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-05] Bitcoin breaks $3,000 to reach new all-time high on: August 05, 2017, 11:29:40 PM
$5,000 by the end of the year looks very likely. And I expect BTC to be somewhere in the $10,000 per coin to $25,000 per coin range by the next block reward halving (which is scheduled to happen on 17 Jun 2020)

And in 2022 BTC will cost $100 000
We are on same minds wave with you bro!!!

We started this year with nearly $1000 and 8 months later reach $3000, more than 200% increases and bitcoin price more likely to grow over $4000 after segwit be activated and maybe $5000 by the end of this year. And reach $10,000 in the next year, maybe slightly chance to, but I am not sure if bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2022. Well, anything can happen including price crash and I don't want to exaggerate about it and let the time reveal the truth for us.
