621  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: November 13, 2022, 01:43:54 AM
The struggle between the decision of being your own boss and working under someone is becoming more difficult to make as economic situations become tougher. From evaluation around me, self proclaimed entrepreneurs are quitting entrepreneurship because of difficulty in maintaining a business and reduced sales due to reduced purchasing power from people, an effect of the economic situation. Office workers on the other hand who also have been on one salary grade for a long time now are becoming fed up with how their monthly salary is no longer sufficient to secure a comfortable lifestyle for a month also due to the higher cost of living. What do you think is the way forward?

it is undeniable that many bankrupt entrepreneurs and workers in promising places can no longer maintain their sources of livelihood because they are laid off, not even a few of the middle class become poor and unemployed, and not even a few sell their houses to meet the needs of their families.
This is a very difficult case to solve, and many governments in any country are looking for a solution to this.
again this is correlated with inflation which causes purchasing power to decrease in line with rising commodity prices.
I think if you have the ability as a creative and innovative content creator or something else on social media, I think it's quite relevant today.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Can our work be turned into a full-time investment? on: November 12, 2022, 04:17:35 PM
Under the current situation, many companies are facing bankruptcy or layoffs at any time, and we do not know what we will face tomorrow.
Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency? If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
Do you have better advice for work?
when indeed you are fired from the company, the option to calm down first is the most effective in my opinion, rather than directly looking for a replacement job directly.
but maybe the condition of each person is different, depending on how the situation, and needs. A wise decision is a decision that considers the current situation first.

I can't give you more advice, as I don't really know your current situation.
As long as you are still working in the company, I think showing the best performance at work is the solution, basically the company will retain employees with the best integrity.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 12, 2022, 05:21:20 AM
The majority of crypto collapse always comes from the centralisation part and of cos the human greed, what do you think is the proper solution for these? To avoid hurting crypto investors and how to guarantee that their funds is safe with any platform, either Staking, Lending or Trading.

What is the way forward? What solution do you think will be effective?

nothing is truly secure in the blockchain system on a platform, they will definitely have their own weaknesses so that hackers can take loopholes to enter the system. In addition, you should also understand that with the consent given at the beginning of your registration before agreeing to it, we cannot blame the platform if it is your negligence.

the best solution is to find a platform that is responsive to unusual transaction activity and can compensate its customers if it is the fault of the platform itself.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: November 12, 2022, 04:28:05 AM
Yes, I experienced this when I first entered the crypto world, the ad showed a crypto project collaborating with a big or well-known exchange. Then I clicked on the link in the ad and filled out the form provided on the website. After a few hours, there were a lot of notifications in my email, I thought they were normal notifications from social media and ignored them. after 2 hours I want to open my portfolio on another crypto exchange, after several times of verification I did but can't log in, I tried various ways to enter but still can't. it turns out that the notification that appears in the email is a notification to change the password and cellphone number. became a lesson for me to reset the project that was in the ad even though it was on behalf of the biggest exchange. this will be very dangerous for us especially if we have a lot of our altcoin savings on an exchange.

not only that, for now, there is a lot of bad information (FUD) circulating in the media about people asking about security related to many big crypto projects going bankrupt.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs vs Solopreneurs on: November 12, 2022, 03:20:28 AM
Currently so many countries all over the world are reporting high inflation rates and recession is starting to kick in. As a result, some businesses are closed-down while some other are hanging by the thread. However, we see some of these solopreneurs on the internet gain more followers, become brand ambassadors etc. My question is are solopreneurs especially social media influencers recession-proof?

but in my opinion, this depends on the brand that is their sponsor in the media and their work contract, of course they will be affected if the sponsoring company is hit by this recession, when their job provider or company survives the storm of the impending economic recession, it is very possible for solopreneurs to endure. On the other hand, if the employer company goes bankrupt, the influencer will also be laid off from his job. However, unlike content creator influencers who present their activities on social media such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, their income is calculated from the number of viewers, subscribers, and advertisements on the content. Of course, the more followers and viewers their income will increase, and ignore the recession.
626  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time management on: November 12, 2022, 01:37:09 AM
True, living our daily lives requires time management, especially if you have a job or dream, from waking up, working, hanging out with friends, etc. to going back to sleep, you must have good time management to make you disciplined in your activities.
why is it so important?
Time is a gift from God that is continuous, has a limit, cannot be replaced and time is a moment (opportunity). If you can't make good use of your time, you will slow down the success of what you have planned in advance.
Recording what you will do in a notebook or daily calendar is an example, I think it is more effective to write it down on items or places that we often use, such as smartphones and laptops.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: November 11, 2022, 02:44:05 PM
it would be nice if you are a newbie maybe it's better to invest in top altcoins,
because in the top 100 altcoins you can be sure the altcoin fundamentals are good and there are no problems,
it's just that according to price you have to analyze it, because it's impossible for prices to always go up.
it would be better before doing that we have to study fundamentals as investors, of course, we know together the risks of investing in crypto, and we often get mental attacks, if we can't manage ourselves in this case, not a few people become stressed because the market is too volatile. After that, make sure in advance the funds to invest, whether for the long term or short term, indeed the top 100 altcoins are a good place to invest, but not a few of the top 100 and even the top 10 are losing money, so this is where you read the fundamentals and you have to be very careful about projects and ecosystems that an altcoin runs on. I think in a situation like this Bitcoin and Etherium become an alternative to invest in the long term.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: What is Inflation? A Crash-Explanation on: November 11, 2022, 01:48:51 PM
Feel free to chip in more information you are most willing to share within this thread, or better yet, tell me how you and your family is being affected by today's inflation rate!
inflation made it difficult for my family to meet their daily needs, and again my family's brick production factory as the family's main livelihood is now bankrupt. This is due to the increase in production operational costs which are increasingly expensive, plus workers who ask for a salary increase because they are aware that the cost of living is now increasing, but the worst thing is that the price of bricks cannot be increased because consumer demand is very rare, somehow we maintain it, but we decided to close the factory because they suffered a lot of losses, now my father and mother become agricultural laborers and farm to survive from time to time, currently life is very simple because the price of daily necessities is very expensive for us.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: November 11, 2022, 01:03:01 PM
Yes, that's true, many cryptos are not finished and fail along the way, but for me, this is a field of natural selection that tests how big a project is. Maybe this is an opportunity for us to find out which projects are strong in times like these for where we invest, Of course in such a time there will be many failed projects that have poor fundamentals and systems. and those who can withstand this storm are those who will fly in the next season. I think, if you have a favorite crypto that you want to buy at a low price maybe now is an opportunity for you.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: 23 Countries Now Abandoning US Dollar on: November 11, 2022, 03:29:54 AM
If the countries abandon the US dollar, establish a new currency, what will be the impact on the US dollar?
Of course, when more and more countries de-dollarize, the dollars that are used as aforeign exchange by other countries will be returned to their home countries so that the dollar will experience obesity in the circulation of dollars in its own country and lose its value, and it is very possible to cause hyperinflation in the US. but the US government and the FED will not be so stupid as to let it happen, they will definitely do everything possible to make other countries that have a relationship (debt) remain dependent on the dollar. raise interest rates, for example.
631  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat in trouble on: November 11, 2022, 02:48:37 AM
Inflation is a term virtually everyone is associated with and in one case or the other, is battling with in their economy as the cost of living a comfortable life is now looking like an illusion. According to statistics, a total of 95 countries are battling this scourge and with government policies not helping and the fiat failing woefully, it would be common sense to turn to Bitcoin.
Yes, that's right, this FIAT currency will continue to experience inflation from year to year, why is that?
The more the population in a country, the greater the need to finance their lives, the need for commodities from year to year will increase, while the commodities used will decrease, so that the scarcity of raw materials causes a company to have to spend more. This is what causes the price of goods to rise due to increased operational costs and high demand. the last one is the government's fault, which prints too much money so that the circulation of money is too large, the circulation of money and goods in circulation must be balanced.
while for Bitcoin, I think it should be pegged to gold so that its volatility is not too volatile and helps maintain its value if it is to be used as a global currency.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: November 10, 2022, 02:17:13 PM
I think it's wise to invest smartly against 2024, there is high tendency of hitting it big in crypto from next year to 2024. I advise you put reasonable capital on bitcoin and few funds in altcoin. Don't sleep on this one. It's a banga!! Let's make this money together.

At least have their own analysis to suggest other people join in investing their money, we must realize in a situation like this many people keep the value of their money, which makes them be careful with spending their money. if it's just baseless speculation you better know what to do.
This situation is indeed very difficult everywhere, I myself feel uneasy with what is circulating in the news for my assets in crypto and Bitcoin. but after twisting my mind, many major media have been reporting about crypto and Bitcoin since its rise in 2021, its popularity was unstoppable at that time, which made many new people from various parts of the world enter into trading. I think, more and more media reporting about the rise and fall of crypto and Bitcoin indirectly introduces it to ordinary people. My confidence increases because almost everyone in this world has a smartphone and television so it is easy to receive information circulating.
I can't imagine what it would be like if Bitcoin started to rise significantly (bullish) from its slump (bearish) maybe it will reach its new ATH every week.
I realize this will not go as expected, it will definitely take time and stages to achieve it. but now is a pretty good time to enter a market that not many people do.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO CRASH on: November 10, 2022, 06:05:40 AM
maybe this is the impact of various events that have occurred in the last few months such as the domino effect of Covid-19, the climate crisis and food crisis in parts of the world, the rise in inflation, the economic downturn, the panic about the imminent global recession, the war between Russia and Ukraine, and again the market has not yet fully recovered from his injuries from the events of Terra Luna and Terra USD in last May, plus the recent bad news from one of the largest cryptocurrencies FTX is threatened with bankruptcy in times like this.
all these events make it easy for people to make FUD by linking all the events that occur to make everyone panic and secure their assets in crypto so that there is an unnatural decline.
maybe if I hadn't experienced something like this in the past few years, I would have done the same to be afraid and secure the assets I have. but it's different from now, I'm more happy because I can save crypto and BITCOIN at prices like today for the long term.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta fires 11k employees - Effect of economy or being bullish about metaverse? on: November 10, 2022, 03:18:41 AM
Which one you think might be the actual reason? Don't you think Mark had gambled quite heavily in an uncharted territory and put the existence into huge risk?

In my opinion, this baseline is due to the slow economic growth in the US this summer, and maybe even worse in the fall, besides, investors sent their shares so there was a decline in META shares from the start year. that's because investors are not happy with the allocation of funds made by Zuckerberg for financing into the METAVERSE project of $10 billion per year and Reality Labs, which manages the METAVERSE project, has lost $3.67 billion in its operations. on the other hand, the reason why META fired 13% of its employees was due to increased competition such as with TikTok and the loss of advertising signals which caused revenue to drop significantly and was driven by inflation that is now happening everywhere.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear not, and be bold to move on. on: November 10, 2022, 02:01:47 AM
3) Fear of pain: There are some people waiting for the price of cryptocurrency to decrease to $15k before they can buy and hold for future purpose, because they heard that the people that bought at $16k or $20k last year 2021 made it, that the same thing will happen to the price to decrease to the same amount before they can buy that will cause them pain, because cryptocurrency market is unpredictable.  My advice to newbies is to do everything possible within their power to remove the spirit of fear and wear the spirit of boldness in this bear season so that they will be part of those that will celebrate when the price increase higher in the market.
What is your opinion?

In this paragraph you just explained "buy low and sell high" and everyone wants to do that, right?
I disagree with your statement that "the cryptocurrency market is unpredictable". In my experience, all markets are predictable whether on exchanges, crypto, and others. of course with certain elements such as news sentiment, technical analysis, economic developments, and many more. Moreover, many experts reorder and analyze what will happen in the next one to two years or the next one to four years, isn't that their prediction with all their knowledge and experience?
I suggest, don't start if you only rely on "possibility" without reset and knowledge, how will you become a strong holder or trader in this world if you only rely on possibilities without a knowledge base?
636  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 09, 2022, 11:37:06 AM
As far as I've read, CBDC has no intention of replacing paper money, but CBDC issues digital money to give people choices about the type of money to use to make transactions easier. I think that paper and metal currencies will always be the main and legal currencies in transactions.
as stated by Tommaso Mancini Griffoli (Division Chief in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department IMF) CBDC has great potential and risk, so it is not possible to completely replace fiat currency “So I don't think we will arrive where we only have CBDC. I don't think that we will do it," said Tommaso in the G20 Advancing Digital Economy and Finance Side Event agenda.
if what you're asking is when is everyone using digital currency? maybe I will answer when everyone can and easily access the internet anywhere and anytime without much disturbance.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 09, 2022, 06:25:01 AM
And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?

The internet has an algorithm that can suggest you to visit certain websites depending on what habits you do when using the internet. suppose you use the internet to visit gambling game sites, with that internet algorithm responds to the IP and email that you use frequently to visit online gambling and makes you the target market for gambling platform advertisements, so a lot of advertisements about gambling come to you when using the internet.
maybe when I use the internet to view news about politics or fashion other than those related to gambling, the offers that I will receive from the internet are online buying and selling platforms, related to fashion and services websites about government or politics.
If my personality is like that, I'd better replace my communication device with a new one, including changing my cellphone number and email. The next step is to stay away from the gambling environment. If that still doesn't work, I think, I should stop using the internet for some time and stay away from friends who play gambling and then improve my personality and mindset first.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTX became the second Luna? on: November 09, 2022, 05:13:05 AM
the news sentiment that this is a tragedy of war between the two giants Changpeng Zhao (Binance) and Sam Bankman Fried (FTX) makes other crypto asset holders panic, including BITCOIN holders, causing blood to rain in the market if this FTT catches up with LUNA, the impact will be making traders, holders and investors distrustful of crypto as a future asset, of course, this will be very dangerous for crypto trading in the future if that happens. and maybe if that happens it will make the trauma market long considering what happened before with Luna and Terra USD.
I hope this doesn't last long and find the best solution for FTX and Binance to take a middle ground.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 09, 2022, 02:58:56 AM
Commission jobs really pays well over most of salary base job especially if the work is continusly and projects are always on long-term based. But the reality here is, only those who acquired a good portfolio and skills are those who actually feel the big benefits of doing a commission job.

On the other hand, salary based job are mostly pays with average salary. Only professionals with such good skills are bound to be eligible on a much higher salary rate.

We really need to work wise and hard to achieve that high paying salary.
Based on your statement, I conclude that any work returns to ourselves, whether in commission work or basic salary work depending on the level of ability and our work in doing it. Broadly speaking, the significant difference between commission work and basic salary work is in terms of time placement.
commission work is usually done by resellers, resellers get a salary from the sales that are shared with the company or the owner of the goods sold, want your position as a senior or junior the more you have more customers, the more salaries and bonuses you get.
while the basic salary job the better we work the greater the chance to be promoted to a higher position and get a higher salary.
Yes, both have different classifications of advantages and disadvantages, but if asked to choose from the two, I prefer commission work, because it doesn't really bind my time and I don't feel dependent on one company.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: November 09, 2022, 12:11:12 AM
contentment and happiness, because no matter how many achievements, money, cars, and properties you have, without happiness and contentment, you can never satisfy yourself, you'll always be missing a piece.

Contentment leads to happiness yes but we can not tell our self how successful we are, it depends on the outsider to say. Although inside we can be fulfilled but success itself is not what we can say of ourselves but it is the public that will quantify our success based on different criteria and comparison with others, such criteria include your age, education, pair group, social glass, family history and inheritance because those also play some roles to how successful we can be.

If you consider the way to measure success is by how the public judges, of course you will never be satisfied with the success you get. I think it's only right that you don't feel satisfied and happy with what you have achieved if you have that mindset.
we as humans must always remember and be aware that basically humans have advantages and disadvantages, therefore interpreting humans have their respective limitations.
Assumptions or public judgments are very wild and their respective or varied points of view, you can't make everyone like you, there are certainly many who criticize or even insult. Maybe you will feel tired if you are looking for happiness and satisfaction depending on other people.
if success is the same as happiness, the ancient Greek philosophy (Stoicism) asserts that "happiness comes from what we can control" which means that it is contrary to your opinion, because we know that public opinion about us cannot be controlled. .

In my opinion, the definition of happiness and success is to have an affluent life and always can feel grateful for what you get.
