One thing still unclear to me (assuming it was indeed a scam) is why he hasn't severed all communications and just went poof.

Because any big money lenders who could potentially take action are either privy to info that no one else has or are just still convinced by is presence that they will still get their money back.

There it is !!!
The first step!
And in such a long sentence without kommata Wink

for my lender,

am hereby paying back 60.5 BTC to Apollon, which are

25 % return on capital in the form of 10 % of weekly compounded interest.

Thanks for your trust and lucidity, Apollon

We do not promise everybody 20% interest, just to those who want to take the risk.
Who want to take *what* risk? The risk that you'll decide not to pay them 20% interest?

Quote
We are not running a Stock Generation.
What's the difference? Your pitch appears identical to Stock Generation's pitch.

Quote
Of course every 'project' offered by us has a different risk, but also a different interest.
In other words, you may or may not pay out on any 'project' based on factors that you won't disclose. What sane person would give money under such terms?

Quote
There are also projects, with no risk and fixed payouts.
Sure, as much as you choose to offer them for as long as you let people keep money in them. That sounds a lot like Stock Generation, doesn't it?

Quote
We can promise such high rates as we do some investments on our own and also lend some btc.
We speculate with the coins or try to support other projects.
But you don't promise high rates. You make it clear that there's some unspecified risk that the high rates, and even the principal, won't materialize. And you do not make it clear under what conditions principal can be lost. Effectively, you're saying "You might make money, I might keep your money, it's risky. And I won't tell you what determines which of these two things will happen."

Quote
Besided this facts, there are many users which like our projects and are satisfied with them.
The same was true of Stock Generation. You've yet to explain how this is different.

Quote
JoelKatz please let us/me know, how to proof that this isn't a 'Stock Generation', we're willing to do (nearly) everything.
Explain what the "risk" is precisely and how someone who loses money can tell whether this is because of a legitimate risk that didn't pan out or merely because you decided to keep his money.

All you've said so far is, "You might make a lot of money. Or you might lose money. It's risky. And we won't tell you what the risks are or how we decide whether you make or lose money. It's up to us." Sorry, that's something only a scammer would say.

Your pitch is precisely like this: "Lend me $50 and I'll pay you $10/week. I'll do something with your money that makes money, and I'll share the profits with you. However, it's risky. I might have to stop paying you at some point.." That's just not what an honest business does, because it not only suggests but explicitly allows you to just stop paying because you'd rather keep people's money. You have to say *what* the risk is so that if you do stop paying me, I know it's not just because you decided you'd rather keep my money.

The scam with Stock Generation is not what they did -- with one very minor exception, they kept their promises and did what they said. The scam is the offer itself -- we might or might not pay you based on factors we won't disclose. And that scam offer seems, at least to me, to be your offer. If I'm missing something, please correct me. How is your offer different from the classic SG scam offer?

Please stop being jealous that your chain - letter busted and ours is still running Wink

Feel free to invest in german honesty, if you canīt get rid of your looters at bitcoinmax and the Federal Reserve Wink

If you think, as a bitcoinmax lender (but why not principally?), that you are a honest person and you should get a legal claim on your invested coins, then please feel free to PM me,

Would it not be reasonable for payb.tc to talk to pirates lawyer …

I personally believe he has none and neither needs nor wants one.

But if anybody knows pirate's lawyer, it would be a good idea to contact him quickly to make sure first that he exists. Why has that not happened yet?

Pirate has said he would give that information last Friday. Pirate however did not give that information. I personally would like to talk with Pirates lawyer

Why donīt you just get you one, when thinking of playing your hand, instead of twiddeling thumps?

He may still doesnīt even need to waste some of the loot for a laywer, as the PPT OPīs are still circelling around

panic- hoarded coins and themselves Wink   ---good luck to the goats---  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww

@pirateat40 | The PPT that didn't' comply

does that mean every single other PPT 'complied'?

let's see if their lenders report having coins come in... that's the only thing that matters and i've still seen no evidence of that occurring.

Sorry payb.tc if "changing OP" is misunderstood in english as "replacing you..."

itīs ment by me as "stop to twiddle your thumps, stop insisting on loosing our claims,

stop destroying the future of bitcoinmax" !  (there are greener pastures straight ahead)

Do finally , what common sense dictates or you wonīt be able  to panic - hoard your

coins much longer.

Op is interprated in zykloogish as the "Operating (original) Post", which defines bitcoinmax ToS.

Zyk, I apologize, but you are officially the FIRST person that I have used the IGNORE feature on.
Every time I attempt to read one of your posts, I want to poke my eyes out and hit my head against a wall.....

Sorry,
bitlane
+1 Except for the being sorry part.
Man it feels good to ignore zyk, I recommend it to everybody.
For once I wholeheartedly agree with bitlane. It's a pity I make it a point to not ignore anyone.

See why I asked you not to quote him.... Mr. Dong? Tongue

The best feature to the ""ignore" button is that the "very-established users" , can be

proven of not having been ignorant to the facts they read, but rather wanted to be oblivious to them !!

And thats why bitlane tries to free his synapses, enabling him to withstand exposure to synaptical overload Wink

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you.......

Psy apperently tries to enter the ring already Kiss

the bitcoinmax  spreadsheet should be sent over to pirate@40

hes going to use it as reason to not pay out  over a million dollars

his reasons for even asking are highly suspect anyway ,i think most would assume
hes been buying up the reduced  priced debt anyway and getting the account specifics
will help him pay more bitcoins to accounts he controls and haircut everyone else

it doesnt mean payb.tc can walk away from the whole mess either ,he has a duty of everyone who invested to help get their coins back

he was happy to take a cut when it was paying every monday so he should at least be seen to be helping  people get their coins back out of his failed investment

if that means voluntary details sent to pirate ,i think people with coins at stake should be allowed the option to apply to get them back

Would it not be reasonable for payb.tc to talk to pirates lawyer before moving on? since pirate is changing terms should we not at least wait until pirate explains?

for all i know pirate will void ppt accounts because operators let in coins that were not theirs. i mean why not, if he can change the rules after the fact why not just keeping changing them?

Gooooooooooooooooood morniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing Pals !   ready for another eye - poking and head - banging Huh Cheesy

Its not pirate who makes the rules, you ignorants!!, neither your Stockholm - feelings for payb.tc !

We still life in a Fiat - world, where the rules are made by sleazy laywers and judges.......and there are precedents, how patsys will be treated in such a case!!

care to comment?   :   http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203513604577142602812291424.html#articleTabs%3Darticle
