Do you mean you were solo mining and it appeared you had mined a block and received the 250 BERN block reward only to not have it accepted by the network? This is called an 'orphan'. It happens when you submit a block at all most the same exact time as another miner. Unfortunately for you, the network accepts the other miners block before it can accept yours. It may appear in your wallet under the transactions tab with a question mark beside it now.

Orphans are a normal thing and you will see them even more often with PoS blocks because of the number of PoS blocks trying to be submitted by all wallets that are actively staking.

I hope I have shed some light on why it may appear your 250 BERN are now missing. If what I explained is the case for you, you actually never had them. If what I explained does not seem to be your case, please elaborate in detail.

With pool mining you remove a lot of the 'luck' involved with solo mining. While that same 'luck ' is needed, a group has greater odds. Power in numbers! When a group collectively mines they benefit by increasing the chances of a block being found and when they do find a block, the reward is divided proportionately based on the number of shares each worker submitted. Your BERN income can be more reliably be "guaranteed" with pool mining. With solo mining, especially if you are only using your CPU as is the case with in-wallet mining, you have no guarantee you will ever find a block. As difficulty increases, this only becomes more relevant as the odds diminish further.

Not a stupid question at all! In fact, that's a great idea and yes, it is possible. Pool mining is possible in-wallet already but, setting it up is not a very user friendly process, especially for non-technical people. I do need to make a new release that eliminates some hurdles for pool mining, P2Pool or not. I have many ideas I want to implement on the mining tab of the wallet alone, and I thank you for bringing another aspect one to the table I overlooked. I can not commit to an ETA but, I will do my best to best to free some time to focus on this.

It is a gigantic array, anyone would be impressed. On the solar mining topic, chack out one of my other projects, EverGreenCoin. It sounds like you might be like minded in my efforts there as well!

Over 700 online airdrop applications have been processed and 200 paper wallet airdrops distributed as of the time of this writing. I am currently making another 300 paper wallet airdrops to distribute at the Lordstown, Ohio General Motors plant. That said, it does not look like the number of airdrop participants will be reduced to 1 thousand. It may still be reduced from 10 thousand but, as of now, 10 thousand participants at 250 BERN each stands.

An interesting tidbit I just learned, this is the only General Motors plant in North America that has its own solar power farm onsite. I will snap some pictures of that also when I am there to share with you all.

I was trying to contact them via PM, email, and twitter for many days. None of which have had any response. Many of the other coin communities VixTrade "supported" have been saying it is a scam. Sadly, it does appear that way. I do regret any "association" BERN had with this or any other scam but, the only "association" was they had listed BERN.
