621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 18, 2023, 10:30:52 AM
Looks like the Warriors doesn't miss Draymond at all, since he was out they were already in a 2 winning streak.

And because of his absence, this opens up more playing opportunity for Trayce Jackson-Davis, who has been playing well in their win against the TrailBlazers. Though I don't want to get myself too excited on the win since I know myself that Trailblazers is not a playoff team, but the Warriors despite Curry was struggling, his teammates were able to step up, specially his splash brother Klay who scored 28 points that game.

Good thing they managed to win. But it's not that significant knowing they won against mediocre teams. And the Warriors only won by slim margins. The real score will be known in their next game as they will be hosting the Boston Celtics. If they can win that game then it's a sign that there is hope even without Draymond.
I'm doubtful about their chances of winning against the best team now in the NBA. Celtics are very conident now as they are enjoying a winning streak, the teams that they beat on their home court are much better than the current Warriors, so I believe the Warriors would really struggle.

I still remember when they have a losing streak on their home court when they lose to OKC, and Wolves twice, that's with Draymond Green, so without him, it's not worth trusting the Warriors. In addition, Boston might take this seriously as the Warriors are the team that beat them in the NBA Finals, they'll not gonna forget that.

If the Warriors can maintain a rank in the top 8, then they'll be fine even without Draymond. But they'll need Draymond during the playoff games. The deep experience, superb defense, and the ability to set up plays are just too good to be missed by the Warriors.

Surely they need Draymond Green as playoffs are a different atmosphere. With the Warriors experience, they'll beat a talented team that has less experience, just like what they did to the Kings last playoffs.
622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best decision you can take on: December 17, 2023, 09:37:24 PM
A good and Skill trader must know that in other to stay long and profitable in the market,
it very important we know when to stay off the market
This is right. Traders should not be greedy. As traders is winning during the day, he may be greedy and wants to win more. But at the end, he may find himself losing overall before the day is over. Also if a trader is losing, they should have a limit to their loss, once the limit is exceeded, they should stop trading. Losing is when traders are vulnerable to lose more.

Sometimes, a trader can be sure of the market, enter the market and the market will go in the opposite direction against the position opened by the trader. It is good for traders to know that they should not trade with the money that they can not afford to lose.
The problem with traders is once they achieved profits, they continue to chase for more profits regardless of the market condition. That greed will never be good for them, but will only ruined their trades and will lose their capital in the process. That is the reason why traders should always know when to stay off the market, so they can prevent theirselves from losing or they can set limits for their future losses.

While trading is to stay in profits, but going against the market will only make your trades miserable. So always know when to trade, and when to stop trading when it's badly needed.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 17, 2023, 11:42:18 AM
I'm on travel so I failed to give a timely update on the fight, but the fight turned out to be what we all expected it to be, a real slugfest between two undefeated champions.
But Bam Rodriguez proved to be a more resilient and more tenacious fighter than the two, the end came in the 9th round when Rodriguez knocked down Edwards for the first time in his career seconds before the end of the round, Edwards did beat the count but the corner did not allow him to continue into the 10th round.

Rodriguez Vs Edwards  round 9

Jesse Rodriguez knocks out Sunny Edwards in 10 rounds and is now unified champion

Edwards made a wrong decision to go toe to toe against a boxer who is a power puncher than him. I think he should have made an in game adjustment, like doing some reality check about his KO percentage. However, I'm still impress with his performance, I can see some durability in him because he lasted 9 rounds and it wasn't him who gave up, his corner did. Overall, I can say it's one of the most entertaining fights I've seen this year.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 17, 2023, 10:50:55 AM
In the last game, I also have TNT to win by 11+, actually had some parlay with Meralco with the same winning margin, so wish me luck for this risky bet.

Risky indeed but with the chemistry issue as the Beermen will be parading a new import, i think there's a chance that TNT would win with that margin. As for me i am just betting simply for TNT to win here, risky bet too as SMB's confodence is high following their win the other night against Ginebra Kings.

TNT -1.5 @1.89 vs Beermen

Good luck to us.

edit: seems no chemistry issue for SMB tonight as their new import is not yet player, still Aska as SMB's import for now.

That's still a good bet though as obviously RHJ is way better than Aska. I like that -1.5, and it seems like this would be a close game. TNT is leading at the moment but just a single margin.

By the way, what happen to the Bolts vs Converge game, it was a very clear cover already but it looks like Bolts allow the Converge to come back in the 4th quarter. A once almost 30 points lead end up a 6 points win only, it was very disappointing to the bettors as for sure they were already expecting an easy win.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: December 17, 2023, 04:56:18 AM
Props indeed to Paul for winning the fight in the first round. Not special though.
People doesn't care beccause in the first place this fight does not gain hyped compared to his previous fights.
Probably people got fed up already with him cherry picking his opponents just for them to look good and win easy fights, and this happened as expected.

Who is Andre August by the way? A real boxer? A cab driver who sometimes do fights? Yes, Jake Paul can knock out so many professional boxers. He just have to choose carefully.

Now a Youtuber is finally a real boxer because he's defeated a real boxer who looked more like a Youtuber than the Youtuber himself. Lol.

Not a very popular fighter but had a good record prior to this fight.

As you can see in https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/651075, he had 10 wins and 5 of that came from KO, while only have 1 lose, (2 now).
if we would judge on his reccord, we can expect he could give a youtuber a fight but Jake Paul's talent as a boxer was underrated.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 17, 2023, 04:27:59 AM
They are up now with a big lead, but can't be too confident they'll win as they could melt anytime.

You were right, although the Warriors won this game but at some point the Brooklyn Nets were able to take the lead. Warriors barely cover the spread as they only won by 4 points while the spread was -3.5. I would say they were lucky here but if it was against another team who are stronger than the Nets, they would probably lose.

I think the good bet was the over 235.5 as the game went over, 244 was the total scores accumulated for both teams.
627  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: December 16, 2023, 02:01:28 PM
The list of trusted casinos will be incomplete because most people post casinos they promote in their signature. I don't say that they promote scams because majority of casinos that run signature campaign, are also very trustworthy but my point is that there are many good ones that used to promote in the past but no longer run signature campaign and those casinos are missed in these posts. One of them are Bitsler.com, Sportsbet.io, Primedice.com, Bustabit.com, Bustadice.com,  Bitcasino.io, Blackjack.fun and Wolf.bet

There are other very trusted casinos too like - Stake.com, Livecasino.io, Freebitco.in, Fortunejack.com, Duelbits.com and some others. You can check out casino in my signature too. In overall, if casino runs signature campaign and doesn't have negative trust and unsolved scam accusations, then you can gamble in that casino.

For OP to be able to get the response from the gambling site he is playing with, it's better if he'll play a gambling site that has an active ANN thread in the forum. With that, I think most of the gambling sites that are currently running a signature campaign have more active ANN threads, so IMO, it's advisable to play with them as complaints can be easily address upon as they will continue to impress the community so what they are spending for advertising will gain positive results.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 16, 2023, 11:15:06 AM

As we all know lossing in gambling is way more frequent but it can be recovered by a single huge win.
That's not what I want to experience in gambling. With that kind of strategy, you rely so much on luck so you can win big and you'll be in profit, as for me, I like to enjoy a slow and consistent winning in gambling, but as what most people have shared, this doesn't happen to us, so I'm here trying to prove it's possible but only until I can show some proof.

So controlling oneself and bankroll management is the key to keeping our gambling venture in the green side.  Know when to stop is the key.  If we feel luck is not on our side in our session, it is better call it a day than push things out.  This way we can minimize losses while maintaining a healthy bankroll.

Green side means profit for you? Well, bankroll management alone could not help, there's a lot more to consider particularly on being smart in choosing your bet, and of course choosing the right game for you.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll! on: December 16, 2023, 10:50:41 AM

It's true that the second option is more painful but does managing your bankroll only mean always playing the same amount on each bet? I don't think so, on the contrary... I believe that an elastic rule is always the best option for managing any type of betting option Wink

There are different ways or technique to manage the bankroll effectively, and the main goal here is just to keep this bankroll grow, or at least make it last longer if you fail with sports betting.

For me, the easiest and the most effective is the flat betting type, like allocating a certain percentage on your bankroll, however, as you keep gambling and you already are convince you can be profitable, it would be dumb of you if you won't think of increasing of bankroll, so most likley it will change as the longer you gamble, you'll become more aggressive with how you manage it.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 16, 2023, 08:17:44 AM
When you get a suspension, it is automatically cut from your salary, NBA players get paid per game basis and not per year basis to be fair, we do talk about per year basis because its easier to make the calculation that way, but they actually do get paid per game. That means, if you play all 82 games and you get paid 82 million (nobody does, just to make it easy example) that means you get paid 1 million per game. Injury doesn't count into that, if you get injured then you get paid every game as well, but on the game day, not beforehand, not afterwards. So when you are suspended, that means it will be cut from your salary, or at least that's the normal conduct, don't know if warriors would make a special case for Draymond and pay him, but they do have the right to not pay him if they do not want to, its in the contract.

Draymond Green has a $100 million 4-year deal. There's still a yearly computation because NBA salaries usually increase each year until the whole contract is consumed. So Green is averaging $25 million per year and paid around $300k per game. His 5 days suspension when he choked Gobert cost him over a million then. Yet here he is again punching someone in the face.

So it seems like losing a million doesn't bother him at all. Well tbh, if I have around $200 hundred million worth of assets and another $100 million coming into my bank account in the next few years I wouldn't mind losing a few million as well, especially when I bet a lot.

He probably didn't care as he wasn't suspended the first time, Draymond had a problem that needs to be fix and the NBA will assure he will only be able to come back once he fulfill all the conditions. Draymond is an NBA champion, won championships with the Warriors being one of the leaders, so this is a huge blow for the Warriors as a team, not only that Draymond loss millions due to this suspention that he won't be paid for not playing, but more so, the damage he brought to the team because of this reckless action.
631  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What thread can earn newcomers merit on: December 15, 2023, 09:33:25 PM
We all know the beginning stage is not easy as a newcomer needs to be patient. Atleast he or she should be getting no matter how little some reward for their resources in terms of time and materials.
I joined the forum and all I told some people around me about it, the next question is," how much have u earned", I was absolutely discourage as I remained mute till date.
I would like to clear that we enter this forum not to maximize earning merits but to learn a lot from the forum. Therefore, we should not jump into earning merits because it will definitely be hard if you chase it without adequate knowledge and learning experience. But, enjoy being a newbie while you are still in the process of learning. Your merits will come later on when others would think your posts have already improved and are now high quality posts.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Food for thought on: December 15, 2023, 07:58:22 PM
For those working for government or an entity, try  to  start a small business and grow it gradually while still doing your 9am- 5pm job.

We might not feel the importance of it until we have been lay off from the job.
I have a question for those working for an entity or government, if you are being sacked today, what will be your faith? Will you still be financially strong, can your other sources of income keeps you going or you will be devastated by the loss of your job.

In this current economy, it's suicidal to have only one source of income.
If you must live well you must be ready to grab the bull by his horn am make life changing decisions by having more than one source of income.
Don't put your financial destiny in the hands of your bosses, you might not know the importance of having your own business till you have been sacked. think about it.
Sometimes, it's easier to say than done. Who would not want to have a business of its own, aside that it adds on your source of income, the way to earn and save big profits is faster than what you get from your salary from your main job. Unfortunately, not everyone is given the opportunity to start a business. Most likely, our salary from our job is only enough to sustain the basic needs of the family, saving some spare money to invest on a business is actually tough and hard.

While those who are given big opportunities to have their own business, they should learn to maximize their productivity to ensure bigger profits, because not everyone has the capacity to start their own business.
633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow the technique if you have zero trading knowledge in crypto on: December 15, 2023, 07:11:28 PM
This is really risky, trying to trade without having sufficient knowledge on trading. You should not be trading in the first place, but increase your knowledge first about trading and how it will be done successfully and profitably at the end of the day. But upon analyzing your post, if you have been successful on your trades, most likely you are not actually a newbie in trading but only a newbie in your rank in the forum.

However, you are right there when you say do not expect more of profits than losses. Because if you are actually trading, you will realize that there are more possible losses first than gains, so never expect to be highly profitable in trading as you might only get frustrated in the end.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be enough to buy 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin every month? on: December 14, 2023, 09:21:39 PM
I'm preparing for the college entrance exam to go to college, so I can't make money from working. I get about $100 of allowance from my father every month. I use all of them to buy bitcoin because I can use father's credit card for expenses such as food, clothes. I can buy Bitcoin on a satoshi basis every month, but when I see people buying Bitcoin basis on the internet, I feel like I'm too behind myself. Maybe they have a much higher income than me because they have a job. I think I can only invest $100 a month for the next year or two, would that be enough? I am worried about missing big bull market with halving and etf approval.
Everyone gets the same opportunities with bitcoin, but if you invest in bitcoin consistently regardless of the amount, you will definitely have an edge over other investors. But let's not think about it because there's no competition with bitcoin profits. However, being a student investor, I feel like you need to prioritize your studies first before you decide to take the risk investing your allowance. There is no guaranteed profits with bitcoin, so you have to be aware on that before you expect quick and massive profits from Bitcoin.

But if you insist investing, then buying monthly with $100 is better than not investing at all. But always bear in mind that you have to hold it for long term before you see yourself enjoying your profits in the future.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe you can win on sports betting by analyzing a betting lines only? on: December 14, 2023, 01:45:52 PM
Betting lines means you don't look at the statistics anymore?

Well, it's hard to tell as personally I haven't done that myself. Maybe it will work for some using their experience in sports betting but most of us probably are not doing that. As we continuesly gamble on sports, we try to experiment on different method to win, but the harsh truth is that until now, we haven't found the right method to win consistently.

We may win, but it's only for short term wins, actually many can do that but few are only capable of winning long term.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll! on: December 14, 2023, 01:10:21 PM

Of course no. Never change bankroll if isn't affordable, this is a big mistake and can lead to several issues Sad

Many gamblers makes this kind of mistake, it's the bankroll that gave them a problem as they don't know how to manage it.

Here's the scenario. In case you have $1000 total bankroll gambling for one day, scenarios are.

1- You do flat betting with $100 per wager and you had a 10 losing streak.

2- You lose all your bets, you start with $100, then $300, and lastly $600...

Which of the two experience is moare painful? I'll choose the number 2...the reason, lack of discipline in bankroll management.
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling FOMO like I am? on: December 11, 2023, 06:13:33 PM
Its not surprising to see everyone get tempted with FOMO since bitcoin position is really doing well, although it's price is currently showing a price decline. But we all know it will skyrocket again and reach another new heights. However, if you have already gained sufficient amount to hold for long term, then no need to FOMO, at least you have lessen the risk of losing. But for those who wish to FOMO, my only advice is, invest at your own risk. Spend an amount that you will not be needing to pay your bills or rentals.

Even myself, I also feel riding with this FOMO. And most likely, I will get there soon once I have gained spare money to invest.
638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should newbies do in trading? on: December 11, 2023, 05:38:45 PM
Newbies should at first observe the market. Don’t rush and deposit huge money in the trading account. Instead go for a demo account and try to trade there. See tutorials and basics of trading from the internet and practice it in the demo account. Once you feel confident and see good results, use those tactics with the real trading account. You will get better in trading as you gain more experience. It’s alright to lose money at the start, it will help you to make strong while trading now.
Using demo account might be a good start for newbies to learn how to trade without the risk of using real money. The intention here is that you will be exposed to the real scenario in trading, and what could be the possible strategies that will work for you so you can manage the risks when you are already trading in live. Although demo trading account may not guarantee your real success in live trading, but it will be a big help as well so you can practice trading without the risk of losing money.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 11, 2023, 02:05:24 AM

By the way, have you see the first game? The import of Meralco just erupted with 54 points, that guy was legit, he played like Bradley Beal, do you agree?

He played exeptional basketball in his debut. Not too long but he go some moves, I like how he keep the Meralco Bolts and offensive team from a defensive team, if they could keep him their regular import, Meralco has a shot of winning a champion. Hopefully I'm not overreacting though, it's just one game but he played impressive basketball already.

Anyways, have you bet on the Magnolia -6.5? That was a trap, I was thinking Magnolia would be able to easily beat SMB since they are undermanned but the game goes down to the wire.

No JMF, Ensiso, Romeo, probably more? Still manage to keep it close, and CJ's shooting was very poor. I don't understand why Magnolia didn't blow them out. There must be something happening inside?  Grin
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 11, 2023, 01:30:32 AM
Lebron won the MVP, I thought the award should go to Davis. Was the criteria for judging is the overall performance in the in season tournament or just the finals? Because if it was the Finas, Davis was the one beasting, so he should have won the Award.

Anyway, we saw the lack of maturity of the Pacers, it wasn't what I expected to be honest, I thought somehow they'll be able impose their dominance but we didn't see that, their star players were bothered by the good defense of the Lakers.
