@solex: Personally I would imagine that its a few large groups that brought this rally on. Not 1 person, no, but maybe 2 or 3 groups. It's climbing high on relatively low volume. Not convincing, is it? Someone's been working hard though to move the price up over the past few days. The question is why? And will it work?
Thats because there are no more asks...  It was 150k 3 weeks ago or so. Now just 73k. so gox has no more coins - the whale can go to the futures exchange and start shorting, short more contracts than coins he has, and then start a massive dump |

The lions share of SDice is on bitfunder, and compared to btct the bitfunder ActM price is a steal at the moment About 20-25% discount, although the thing can't be arb, it's surprising why anyone would buy on BTCT given you can take your BTC to BF and buy there. trust me, I tried to get my BitFunder/WeExchange accounts running yesterday and I finally gave up... pain in the arse. There are 2,000,000 S.Dice shares on bitfunder. Each one will get .00035/share?
That means 2,000,000*.00035=700
So let's say half of that goes to ACTM. That's 350.
That makes the price go up to .0075, assuming that no more sell orders are placed.
I believe in ACTM, and we'll get to the moon, but just like btc too fast too soon will only benefit speculators.
There about only 900k shares of SDICE, but your buyout price is off by 10x, there's about 3200+ BTC |

nope: 1) if insuring was free, then implementing it would be a waste 2) if it had a cost, it would be a disservice to users: a way to con them into giving us more money without real benefits 3) if we did it anyway, we might end up into a paradox where if a user loses (x-1) times in a row, it's better for him to lose his next bet than to win it For point 3, since the game is "random", a user cannot intentionally cause a loss. |

While MTgox has withdrawal problems the price is going to stay artificial high, and possibly bubble slightly as people use alternative means to cash out. (by buying bitcoins from Gox, pushing price higher and selling on other exchanges)
That happened before when gox reached 115 briefly a few weeks ago while other exchange were hovering below 100. However, exchange rate at other exchanges are also rising this time around. |
