621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 12, 2017, 08:12:57 AM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment

Thats what you have said is just an illusion.

* Cash is to be abolished. So yeah it will be not only offline but off grid lol.
* You pay enourmous amount of fees for a banking personel. A lot more than you pay for miners. You just dont see the difference because its involves inflation
* Vice versa
* Confirmation time of a cash might be instant but the electronic cash takes ages to confirm. Its long confirmation time is very abusable by the hackers. You just do not see the confirmation time because a third party like VISA takes the risk on your behalf.
* every day there is another bank that fails and need to consolidate with the bigger one. Its just when it crashes it will be huge.
* Because they are used to it.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: What is Usury? "De Florijn" project and interest-free credit. on: May 11, 2017, 10:20:49 AM
Every loaning on % has one mathematical problem. You are lending 100% of something and you expect the 105% of the same. Where are you going to take this 5% from? Many would say that they will take that money from the market, or from the estimated market growth. That kind of behaviour is called an exteriorization of the costs. The cost of transaction between the two individuals are being financed by the society and its need of growth to make the loan even physicly possible without causing the deflation.

You can not have a healthy economy where everybody else but me must pay the costs. Sooner or later such a kicking away the ball must end bad as there will be noone else to exploit. Thats the moment when the empires, by the way always builded on the usury, fail.

I believe much of the national "debt" is simply just money supply and it was never intended to be paid off. In fact, as you said, it can't be. Why do they always talk about the national debt as if it is something that we owe? If the national debt was completely paid off (which is physically impossible) it would wipe out all of the currency supply.

I do not know if thats what its called. I think you complicate the matters too much. Some of the numbers must be ficticious for the mathematics to be right. If those are those ficticious numbers, ok let them be. To be honest I do not know what numbers are real and what are not.

In the Bible you have described a monetary system for the Israelites that was to be different than the current Babylonian system. It involved clearing up the debt as a clean slate every 7 years. That was so because people back then new that Babylonian system is not sustainable as it was based on ficticious math (babylonian mysteries) that was done by usury.

I think some of the debt abolishment from time to time would be great, for the start. Its ficticious either way, so what difference does it make?

I believe Switzerland is going to become a bitcoin paradise country where everyone with BTC will go there and retire. In years time, Switzerland will give full support to bitcoiners, so you will be able to buy anything you want with bitcoin without the need to pay any taxes. ATM bitcoin machines everywhere.

For one. Retireing in a country thats expensive to live in, is extremely non economical and imho stupid. You want the most out of your retirement bucks.

Quote
Switzerland has always been a heaven for rich people to store their money hiding from their governments and avoiding taxes.

You have nailed it. Its the country bank law fiction to store the money in, not to live there. So the ATM machines are not going to accomplish anything.

Yeah sure those rich bastards may panic a little, because of the USA interventions, and some of them will buy assets like bitcoin or gold. But can any country be a haven for bitcoin? Why we need haven for bitcoin? Its not legalized yet so its haven is the world.

625  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: May 10, 2017, 06:29:29 AM
My worst decision I have ever made was sending some bitcoins to mtgox just before it crashed. I was greedy as hell. 20% arbitrage was easy money for me.

By the way I had withdrawn the money from mtgox so all those stories about it I took with a grain of salt. If I would only had not withdrawn previously I would have never send some btcs there.
626  Economy / Economics / Re: how i start a bussines with BTC on: May 08, 2017, 08:49:37 AM
In my opinion its way better to do buisness involving bitcoing and fiat not only bitcoin.

Bitcoin accepted here logo is a very cheap advertisement. You might get a dedicated costumers as well. You must address the middle class and services as this is the most likely niche of users that might be interested in paying with bictoin.

What kind of services you decide to do is your choice but services involving food and computers are the safest bets.

Thats just my 2 cents.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be created by Russia or China? on: May 08, 2017, 08:38:13 AM
Thats a possibility that either of this countries would like to create the semi deflationary currency. Both of those countries are possitive towards gold and negative towards the usd.

China in my opinion is highly more likely to create bitcoin. Before you say that there could be no contendor to the USA high tech supremacy, I would like to point out that the USA has the supremacy only because of the financial supremacy. The education in that country is far inferior to the postsoviet education. Thats a fact. Many experts and many books states that fact. USA universities are full of imigrants, many of them are chineese and postsoviet are very inteligent and educated people. Some of them are staying in the USA some of them are going back to their countries of origin.

In my opinion the developers of bitcoin most likely are chineese that saw the corruption and injustice of american banking system and decided to do something about it. Chineese hackers that are working for government are known to be one of the best if not best in the world.

Another trace that might lead to China is that the Chineese are using bitcoin to get gold trading with the US.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan and the United States equaled the volume of bitcoin trades on: May 08, 2017, 06:27:50 AM
Guys imagine what happens if another country much like Japan were to adopt bitcoin as a digital currency, I bet we'll shoot up higher than $2500.
There is not a single project in the entire world which could give you $300 pure profit on every $1200 invested in less than 10 days.
I just f**king love you so much Satoshi, I swear that I will vouch for you on the judgment day, RIP for now my hero.
In a world where people are ought to get you and milk you he did the opposite, you can't find anything like bitcoin as it changed millions of lives and will continue to do so for hundreds of millions more in the future.

Firstly of we should be at 1800$ or so by your estimate. Japan is a very rich country. Its hard to have another country as rich as a Japan, as its in the top bracket. So the middle of the road to 2500$ per bitcoin (with two countries) is to have 1800$ per bitcoin (with only Japan). As you can see thats not the case right now.

By the way the government words are just words. Nowadays words are easily and quickly forgotten. Its just a new trend for now, not something that will stay with us forever. There have to be the need like in China to use bitcoin as a cash transfer mechanism.

Secondly there are not so many milions of bitcoin users. I would estimate that 0.1-0.2% of world population is a number much closer to reality. Thats 7-14 milion users.

629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitfinex Gap $70 Could Be News Coming? on: May 08, 2017, 06:12:44 AM
Announcements > Auditor Engagement
May 05, 2017

https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/202

i came here to post this same link but i honestly can not see what the relationship between "Getting an auditor from NY" and people relaxing their buying frenzy on bitfinex!

p.s the gap is about $10 now!

The frenzy, as you had put it or rather a panic, was eased by bitstamp helping out to even out the gap between those two guilds. Either it was the exchange was helping out or it was the new people in bitcoin, the japaneese investors that doesnt have the idea of the risk involved in the exchange that might go down.

But you can not overestimate the signal that people are not left behind and that there are actions that are made to help people. That kind of appeasements can stop most of the panics imho,.
630  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: BITFOOTBALL.NET - FULL VERSION RELEASED! on: May 08, 2017, 05:17:20 AM
Congratulation on the releasing of the game.

I have one issue in the game. I had a very unlucky set of events. I had 3 red cards and an injury in one match. I had collected 500k for new players if needed but I need 2 of them and those players where sadly very expensive to buy. I would need 800k to buy 2 of them.

Could you please allow me to buy what ever player for 165k I have left? Or is it impossible.

Edit: Oh I was allowed to play a match with 10 players. Weird. Have you changed that from yesterday?

Over the course of a few days, Time Tombs will appear on 10 randomly chosen planets.

Each such Tomb can be devoted to IPX, Harbringers or your own squad. Every 3 hours factions (and squads) receive 1 influence point per each tomb devoted.

You have intrugued me. How to know what planets are the chosen ones? Its kind of important to know if we are able to fight over them.

Are they modules or equipment? Is it possible to know if someone has some Time Tomb without landing on the planet?

633  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 06, 2017, 08:40:45 PM
In my opinion bitcoin may improve the sittuation of country when there is a serious deflationary or an inflationary problem.

When there is a serious deflationary issue everything can be used as a money to help the lack of money in a circulation. The more easy it is to be used the better. In times of a serious inflation in a country, where money is worth close to the paper it was printed on, the bitcoin becomes invaluable as a big help and convenience.

Bitcoin providing banking infrastructure to some poor countries is another way how bitcoin can improve the economy of country.

Outside of a poor countries with a big financial issues bitcoin can help the sittuation of a people that are in bad economical sittuation by providing an easier way to earn tips.

I do not understand the purpose of this topic. Why should bitcoin have such a mission or function? Interestingly, as the time passes, you guys are coming up with interesting questions and curiosities...

Moral issues are always important. Unless you are a psychopath that is.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: May 06, 2017, 10:58:19 AM
I have 4 short advices for everybody. Maybe they are more about trading than investing, but investing involves a little trading.

1. Be patient in waiting for the right moment that is relativly riskless to buy or sell.
2. Stay calm. Even if you had made a mistake its not going to help you to get mad about it.
3. Believe in your first thought. Mostly its the best idea you can get, if you stayed patient and calm that is.
4. Stick to the plan. Its not helpful to change your plans as its usually emotionaly driven.

You just can not go wrong with those ideas. Those are plain and simple and maybe obvious to many of you but I think thats the best advice anyone could give when it comes to trading/investing.
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: FOMO IS REAL on: May 06, 2017, 10:07:32 AM
FOMO had stopped, for now. People were afraid that bitfinex users were going to buy all the bitcoins because they were so hungry for the bitcoins. Pun intended.

Now there will be a testing of the nerves with the double top that just had brewed. Thighten your seat belts boys. Holders gonna hodl, panicers going to panic and people buying low going to buy low.

We don't know when we'll next see a bear market, and by the time we do it'll probably happen when the price has reached much, much higher and this current price seems low.

I do not see the bear market in the near future but I hope to see some option of relativly cheap coins.
636  Economy / Speculation / Re: I can see that the bitcoin specualtion sub has matured! on: May 06, 2017, 10:00:04 AM
Bitcointalk was always the place for payed shill bears that spread doom and gloom and people that are easily euphoric.

Just wait for the right sittuation of euphoria or panic on the market and you will see both groups ready to spread havoc again. Give them a chance will you.

638  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Dwarven Bitmine - Upgrade your mine and earn up to 15 000 satoshi a day. on: May 04, 2017, 09:47:33 PM
I was supposed to ask whats wrong with the event. I saw that the fellow dwarves were a bit lazy during the first days of the may.

btw the event is a nice idea. Dwarves without fighting with the monsters are not the same. Not just diggy diggy hole, not that diggy diggy hole is bad :p.

Maybe you could make some dwarven explorers upgrade that search for some treasures or such in the future.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: A Federal judge in new York has not recognized bitcoin as money on: May 04, 2017, 08:31:00 PM
Its all comes down to a regulations that are uppon bitcoin exchanges. Thats the reason why the bitcoin must be considered as an asset. Those exchanges operates with fiat money and bitcoin/alts. The bitcoin users are to be controlled by the exchanges because it involves the fiat money, not because it involves bitcoins.

I would guess that if an exchange would work only as an exchange that trades with bitcoins and alts, it wouldn't have to comply with all the banks regulations concerning its users.

I think the bitcoin is not treated as money because the banks have nothing to with it and the money is defined as a bank notes, that are to be regulated by the banking laws. Hence its impossible to regulate bitcoin, its folly to treat it as money.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: May 04, 2017, 05:58:44 PM
You should add that in the article you are reffering to, all comes down to an american families. The sittuation in different countries are different to eachother.

For example in Poland where I live people have a much lower funds compared to the Usa. When an average american family would have to live by the polish standards they would think that they are living way below the poverty level. And believe me that its possible to live here without a debt. Ofcourse there are a lot of people that are in debt, don't get me wrong. Its all a matter of perspective

Its all about the expenses of a person in measuring how well off someones is. People that win the lotteries tickets usualy ends up with a debt after all. Its a fact. Your expenses depends on how rich you think you are. Its the problem of americans and their media that lies to them about their financial sittuation.

Yes ok. Maybe the americans are getting poorer by every day. But that definatly doesn't explain why their expenses does not meet their incomes. The only thing that can explain this is that they have a huge debt per person and it is the debt that is cutting their incomes. There is no other explanation outside of lying to themselfs about how rich they are. Thats the second explanation.
