621  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: March 07, 2024, 10:35:08 AM
I believe there are a couple of posts from attention seekers (one of whom clearly has ulterior motives to oppose icopress becoming merit source, probably on the basis of being overlooked/rejected when he applied to join campaigns managed by icopress) who have opposed therefore the vast majority of members that have posted in the thread are in favour of his application.
Yes, I agree with you, I don't really want to say anything about those attention seekers because they won't be successful in their attempts no matter how hard they try. Icopress is a well-deserving member, he has done a lot for the forum, and those who understand his importance will always support him and his application. He's hard-working himself and he support all those members who work hard.

I can say that Icopress is a pure-hearted and a professional person, someone like him will always be recommended by those members who understand his worth. The service Icopress is doing of this forum is appreciate worthy and I will always support his application and I'm very sure that soon Theymos and other high authority members will also consider Icopress's application and make him a merit source. Hope that day will come soon.

Welcome to the forum. It looks like you're already familiar with the forum and that's why suggesting you basic things isn't needed at all. I only suggest you to find a good manager and run a signature campaign of your platform in order to have good exposure on this forum.
623  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC created new ATH before Halving: are you surprised? on: March 05, 2024, 08:40:32 PM
  • Are you surprised by this event?
No, I'm not surprised because I was sure enough that BTC reaches a new ATH in March to May after seeing the buying pressure that the Bitcoin had due to those ETFs. It's just the beginning, we may see price correction but after that I'm quite sure we will see another such rally. Previously, I was thinking that Bitcoin would cross $100k when bull run gets intensity but now I think that Bitcoin could possibly reach $120k or even cross it when bull run reaches its full intensity. A new ATH before the bear run starts would be anywhere from $120k to $140k or even more than that.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every time a new Bitcoin Block is found, US prints $69 million!!! on: March 05, 2024, 06:39:50 PM
Every fiat currency will continue to depreciate, Bitcoin to raise against them and the US dollar is not an exception.

Soon it will be crystal clear that someday 1sat = $1 and even exceeds this while The discussion about why individuals should invest in bitcoin would become why countries need to invest in Bitcoin.
Fiat is not sustainable and it will finally have to face huge inflation spikes over the years until it's fully devalued. But, since this topic is mostly related to Bitcoin and US dollar so comparing other fiat won't be reliable. If US continues printing that much then surely in years US dollar will lose its value. But, Bitcoin's supply is limited and when US dollar and other fiat currencies continue losing value, Bitcoin will continue gaining value.

It's a bold statement to say that 1 Satoshi will be $1 because for that Bitcoin will have to reach $100M per coin which's unlikely to happen in a decade or two. However, I'm pretty sure we will see 1 Satoshi at $0.01-$0.05 in two decades.
625  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: March 05, 2024, 06:23:01 PM
a campaign manager is supposed to read many of the posts made in his campaigns. That's a great opportunity to Merit the good ones (and remove the users with bad posts from the campaign). That's not Merit abuse, it's doing a good job.
Yes, that's very true, a campaign manager gives enough time to reading posts made by the users who are enrolled in the campaigns that he's managing, and thus it becomes easy for him to notice good posts. And, it's true that such campaign manager can merit all good posts in the campaigns that he's managing and there's nothing wrong in meriting good posts even if you're meriting someone who's part of the campaign that you're managing.

I believe Icopress can do both jobs brilliantly without any issue. We all know how much contribution he's doing on this forum and as a merit source he'll be able to contribute even more by sending merits to the posts that need those merits. I believe Icopress can be one of the best merit sources of this forum and that's why I think Theymos should definitely assigned him as a merit source.
626  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 05, 2024, 05:45:41 PM
What is your opinion on this?
I think chasing your losses is what led you to gambling addiction and that's why I never recommend something like that to any player. Most of the addicts that we see today are those people who always try to recover their losses and win more and this in doing that they end up losing more money and that makes them gamble even more.

The more one gambles the higher the chance of getting addicted to it, and that's he main reason why we see most of the gambling addicts. Those addicts are the ones who somehow can't forgive themselves for the losses and they try their best to recover the losses and win, but we all know that they won't win.
627  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH was just broken seconds ago! on: March 05, 2024, 05:40:15 PM
I was sure that today we will see a new ATH and that become a reality. Who knows that we may see huge pump, a pump with huge intensity during the halving event that might push the price of Bitcoin to $75k? I'm pretty sure that institutions like BlackRock, Grayscale, and other such ETF institutions will purchase more Bitcoin in order to own most of it.

There's also a chance for MicroStrategy to purchase more and more Bitcoin, and all those things will keep adding market cap in the Bitcoin and value of it starts growing. Halving is going to be another great indicator for us because after it the number of mined bitcoins decrease to half and thus those big players will try their best to own as much Bitcoin as they possibly can.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Monte Carlo fallacy on: March 05, 2024, 05:31:35 PM
That's just a fallacy and nothing more, in actual gaming nothing like that happens and most of the gamblers are sure examples to prove that. This fallacy brings fake hope in the minds of the gamblers and they think that it's a strategy. Sometimes we see consistent sixes in dice while other times we may see consistent 1's, and that proves the phenomena of Monte Carlo Fallacy is just a part of someone's imagination and not a part of reality.

Hi. can i still apply? i see there are 19 names in spreadsheet. does that mean it is full now?

Yes, you can still apply and if any other participant won't be able to complete the review on time then I'll add you in the list and remove that participant.
630  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 05, 2024, 05:21:41 PM
A casino is like any other business where they can change policy whenever they wanted, so there is no assurance that they will stay a VPN-friendly casino, therefore we should not be confident and play longer using a VPN but it would be better if the casino will give an advance notice if they will change their rules.
You're right but as of current time they are VPN-friendly and when they changes their rules then we may say such thing. The OP wanted to know about some of the current VPN-friendly casinos and I guess he got some good answers via this thread.

Let's say in future if any of those change their rules then we won't be considering them as VPN-friendly but as of now they are VPN-friendly and that's why we can surely suggest them to the ones who want to know about VPN-friendly casinos.

I fully agree that what you said is also true but we should think about now of the present moment not of the future when we are into gambling.
631  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 05, 2024, 02:36:56 AM
A few more hours to see a new ATH, it almost touched the previous ATH but wasn't able to cross it. Hope to see another pump soon today that may give us a new ATH.

634  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 04, 2024, 10:22:10 PM
I'm not sure about all those casinos that are VPN friendly for long term because in initial stages all of the casinos allow VPN users to play on their casinos but when the player wants to withdraw the money then those casinos ask for KYC and original country details etc.

However, I have been on a few of casinos where I have used VPN and I had faced no issue while using VPN. In that list I can say that L0tt0 is the casino whose owner said that he's not interested in KYC and he wants everyone to play without any restrictions. He's also committed to allow VPN users on the casino and the ones with VPN can also withdraw without any issues.

BC.GAME is another casino that's in the list of VPN-friendly casinos. It allows VPN users to play and enjoy some gaming experience on their platform. BC.GAME is a top class casino but the good thing about it is that it's a VPN-Friendly casino and allow VPN users to enjoy wide variety of games.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏸🏓🎾The Racquet Sports thread [Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis and more]🏸🏓🎾 on: March 04, 2024, 10:05:03 PM
Thanks for creating this thread, Badminton and table tennis are also my favorite games. I used to play those games when I was a kid and it was a really enjoyable experience. I have also noticed that there is no thread about those sports but I am happy that you have created the thread, and I hope that we will see some good activity on this thread from now on.

I don't really have much information about those top players of table tennis and badminton but I guess once we get active on this thread then we will learn a lot about those players. Badminton and table tennis are quite good games, I'm not fan of the squash game, but I'm sure I'll get interested in that one as well after learning about it.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin PUZZLE ~1000 BTC Bitcoin Challenge Transaction Page on: March 04, 2024, 09:57:55 PM
I haven't visited that page since a long time, because it's really hard for me to solve such puzzles, however a few people are really good at solving those puzzles.

It's sometimes a fun activity to solve those puzzles but I believe that only those who have very high IQ may be able to solve such puzzles. And the rewards are also good for those people who solve such puzzles.

So if they remove the private keys from the puzzle page then there might be something behind the scenes. What I think is that the site wants to make puzzles more tough for the users, however I'm not sure about that.
637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 04, 2024, 09:51:09 PM
A new ATH is on the way just need a single pump and we will see a new ATH. This is going to be the week when we will see a new ATH and it's the time to celebrate. Go BTC go, just 2k more and a new ATH will be there.
638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 03, 2024, 09:00:38 PM
One more pump is all needed to make a new ATH. If we see another rally then surely we will have new ATH.
639  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 03, 2024, 07:30:20 PM
Now to my question. If you "vouch" for someone that they are trustworthy and they take a loan, is the person who vouched putting their reputation on the line?
Yes, if you are vouching for someone then you will be responsible for the dealings. Let say if you vouched for someone that he's a trustworthy person and he pays loans on time, and after your vouch a lender agrees to give that person a loan.

That person has got the loan because you vouched for him and the lender trust you not that person, if he somehow doesn't pay the loan back then the one who vouched will be responsible. And, there is big chance that the one who vouched may end up paying the loan if other party run away.

On this forum we can see so many members run away after taking loans, Sashan's lending thread is a good example for us to see such people. I believe one should try his/her best to not vouch for someone else because if the other person doesn't pay the loan then it can impact the reputation of the one who vouched for that person.
640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Alive ?! on: March 03, 2024, 07:19:38 PM
To be honest no one knows that either Satoshi is alive or not but most of us believe that he is still alive. Some people think that Hal Finney was Satoshi Nakamoto and they also believe that Satoshi is no more. But none of those can prove that really that Hal was Satoshi.

In actual, Satoshi left Bitcoin community because his main idea behind creation of Bitcoin was to create something that would allow humans to transfer money without relying on centralized entities. Satoshi is our hero and even always remain our hero.

He left Bitcoin community intentionally and I'm very sure that he won't reappear again. He is just anonymous and he will remain anonymous forever.
