According to coinmarketcap.com there are 668 coins on their site all trading. Do they all do something different or are there a lot of copy cats and if so, what do the 100% copycats have value?

Even though I am a noob when it comes to the issue of coins but with my little understanding, I don't see any difference in what this alts are offering simply because they all have the same objective which is to dislodge bitcoin so either way they have in achieving that objective, to me its still the same thing afterall. |

The bigger idea of Bitcoin is that it will challenge the corruption of central banks and destroy the system that keep the masses poor while passing free printed money to themselves and their banks. Problem is I don't see Bitcoin ever being mass adopted. What I do see is the very rich and often corrupt (Chinese officials for example) using it to shelter their money. Bitcoin will sadly end up being the elites version of prepping, the average man in the street won't be holding Bitcoin but their own dicks come the economic collapse that is coming.
In short Bitcoin will help many of the super rich become richer...that's all.
The simple reason why the elite will always have their way in any society is simply because they are exposed and educated to such movement. Even if we change from bitcoin to another form of currency, the elite will still have their way. How do a poor man who does not even know about how the internet works will know about bitcoin or which money does he have that will warrant him keeping some? |

I'm wondering how can you trade with bit/altcoins when you're under 18 years old. I currently need to transfer some ethereum coins (earned by mining) to bitcoin and eventually to real cash. I know that you can use LocalBitcoins.com, however you can only trade bitcoin here. How about altcoins?

Most sites that accepts the minimum of 18 years as a pre-requisite to trade, does so in my opinion simply because of the fact that that is the age of being an adult in most countries and because they also want to protect themselves from offering services to minors. But in my own way, I believe the moment you can own up to actions then you are good to go and for someone who is able to be exposed and earn some bitcoins, to me irrespective of age, that is taking responsibility. |

there are a lot of us demand shop that accepting bitcoin as payment, but from this forum i found out that there are some people unwilling to spend their bitcoin, so I want to asked If you found a shop that accepted bitcoin and fiat as payment, which one will you used?
if you are using bitcoin then maybe today 1 apple is 0.0008 btc , but tomorrow with 0.0008 btc you can buy 2 apples, but if no one used bitcoin for shopping then there won't be any shop that will adopting bitcoin anymore
so what will be you choice?
I will continue to use my Fiat since currently where I am, there is no place to buy anything that accepts btc and if I say I want to go online the amount I will be paying will be more considering the trust issues and other costs that will be embedded in the cost of the goods. All I need to do in curing myself of such stress is just to convert then buy. Simple as that. |

What if bitcoin gains much more value than you anticipate? So what happens when 1 satoshi reaches the price of 1 dollar?
What kind of arrangement is made if payment is requested as Cent? Can the bitcoin core be modified?
If that should happen, then it equally means 1btc has increased to another extremely high position which I feel it wont get to that without attracting attention that might want to curtail such influence. However, if that eventually happens then we should be ready to pay for a $1000 for transactions fee or even more than that. |

Things are looking up in my opinion.
This is some thing one needs to constantly be reminding himself or herself even in our daily life endeavors that irrespective of what I'm going through, everything will be alright and also in the case of bitcoin, whether ETF or not, the future is still as bright as ever and no matter what SEC thinks at the moment, we are one step closer to the goal. |

The robbing actually depends because over here, law enforcement agencies and not only cops rob on a daily basis without anything to stop them although their authorities makes us believe that they don't condone such behaviour but we all know everything is scam. Where a cops will stay at the motor park in the name of security only to extort motorists.

Its seems this does not seem like something worth while at least not in this way op is going about it. Opening an account and on that same day announced a signature campaign at the same time, that day is last active. Maybe when he returns, he can get to it right.

I must say its really sad to see a project so promising in the last few weeks enshrined in controversy few weeks after. Although not part of the campaign, but I saw the aggressiveness in participants coupled with the nice rewards attached to it but seeing all this reports coming from every angle, its really unfortunate. And I hope this project can recover which is going to be very difficult.

The same way there are different levels of developments of countries so likewise the same way they cannot be the same in accepting bitcoin at the same time. Several infrastructures will need to be put in place and that infrastructures is not available in abundance to all countries in the same form. So its going to be a gradual process.
