Pale Moon no longer accepts Cryptocurrency donations due to the outrageous fees.

https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?t=17826

I expect we see a flood of services dropping Bitcoin in the coming weeks.

It's a REALLY bad sign when you can't even give away something that is supposed to be money.

Why dropping all cryptocurrencies? It's only Bitcoin that's currently relatively expensive to transfer. They could accept Litecoin instead...
He's just trying to find any news as fud lol 😂

Bitcoin is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 23, 2017, 05:46:45 PM
Ripple is a good option for investment in altcoin market since Riple is constantly moving its growth when all other alt coins is down for past few days. I guess Ripple should be competing Ethereum in future even though they are two different entities.

Ripple is not like other altcoins since it is a payment network for banks. However, this altcoin has good reputation within banks for their price and security. Ripple is one among the top 5 cryptocurrency as well.

Researching all the positives and negatives in crypto market, guess Ripple should be driving the crytocurrency market to the edge.

What people don't realize, is that xrp isn't just for banks. We can use it as a medium of exchange as a currency. It can already scale for mass adoption right now. It can be what bitcoin was meant to be and so much more. It isn't as centralized as people say it is.

The volume is picking up now, watch for violent push back up to 15000
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 22, 2017, 01:03:59 AM
Did anyone of you check the total market cap? I mean, of all Ripple coins, not just the circulating ones.

marketcap means nothing, you don't own a piece of the company

Wrong. Because you basically own a share of the total amount of coins. So there will come a time when all those coins will be placed on the market. Then goodnight.
Wrong, only a small percentage will ever come to the market. That's why market means nothing.

629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum will hit $1,000? on: December 21, 2017, 03:00:32 PM
All the other coins have gone up 3-4x recently while ethereum just sits there dead. Billions pouring in to Alts now and ethereum isn't getting any!
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 20, 2017, 08:40:38 AM
I know ripple will make some correction, like what happened few months ago. I know ripple is really good for long term. Because it is very good coin, there are lot of project in future. The only problem of xrp is too large volume. Really disappointing.

Actually LARGE VOLUME on XRP is very very good. Smiley really appointing
I think he meant large supply.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins To Be Added On Coinbase In 2018 -- Any Speculations? on: December 20, 2017, 04:31:02 AM
I think Dash and NEO are top contenders. I stole the below comment from a different thread because it's applicable.

Here are the requirements for the new cryptcurrency https://www.gdax.com/static/digital-asset-framework-2017-11.pdf
And Ripple just failed on requirement 1.1 - decentralization.

So I would exclude Ripple from the list.

Xrp developer thanking Coinbase for making a good decision:) it's already a done deal! Lol

633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins investing - Earn dollar and lose btc on: December 18, 2017, 02:30:32 AM
In general you should balance your portfolio. For me it is 65% BTC and 35% Alts.
It is true that BTC outperforms almost all Alts long term. Alts are especially good when BTC goes sideways or consolidates for a bit. If BTC is on a bull run I am more like 80% BTC and 20% alts.
All top 20 Alts have outperformed bitcoin this year
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 16, 2017, 08:22:54 PM
Coinbase isn't like any other exchange. Apart from being the biggest, it offers an on ramp for fiat in to the crypto market. Any coin that gets listed there goes parabolic and becomes a reserve currency that others can peg to. Coinbase has stated they will be adding many cryptos in 2018. NEM has been in the top 10 for a very long time, the only thing it lacks is volume which might change after catapult.

636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WILL ETHEREUM HIT $1000 SOON? on: December 16, 2017, 10:08:20 AM
Ethereum hasnt gone up nearly as much as all the other big caps recently, it has much more room to grow! It can easily hit 1200 by New Years.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 16, 2017, 08:13:10 AM
The masses have been zapped by a subliminal neuralyzer, I agree!

640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple ( XRP ) a good way to go right now? on: December 14, 2017, 09:10:03 PM
My biggest problem with Ripple is that the company owns so much of it and could easily kill the whole project. Not that they would, but it is possible. And with my risk management I am not willing to take that risk, and I would suggest you dont.

Your risk management should be more thorough, then you'd know what happened with remaining coins a bit earlier this month Cheesy

Yeah the company locking away their share was an excellent idea. Glad I bought in yesterday morning! Now to take my 65% wins or HODL... that is the true question...
This will be a period for Alts to grow for at least a month while bitcoin sleeps. The cycle continues. Leave it in ripple for a while and you will not regret it.
