621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2017, 04:47:08 PM
Yes, bitcoin is fast and easy. If people agree that bitcoin can be a legal tender just like money, then I guess I prefer to use this.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: May 14, 2017, 04:43:22 PM
hmmm, let me think. I guess its the fastest way to earn and lose money. Sometimes, in bigtime way.
623  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: May 13, 2017, 07:55:58 PM
Yahh, I guess it will be boring. Plus in a big scale. Mother Earth will no be able to handle us in that kind of situation. Imagine, new baby's were born every second and if people could live forever that will be a scary.
624  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: May 13, 2017, 07:41:28 PM
Taxation itself is not a theft. Its just a way of collecting money from the people to create a better environment.  The problem is the people handling the tax money. If they are good then we are good, if not then we're in trouble.
625  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: May 13, 2017, 07:37:23 PM
Because the time when we where born it is already existed. Its like we are belong to a pack (religion). As long it serves us for our purpose to be in line with our human existence its all good.
626  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You Waste Your Life On The Internet? on: May 13, 2017, 07:27:31 PM
Only sometimes. Internet is a very powerful platform/energy that anyone can use for good and for bad.  If you use it for constructive purpose then it will be very useful and not waste of time.

628  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: May 12, 2017, 09:36:34 AM
As of now, I think I am nearing 1 BTC in my offline wallet and I am grateful and excited that bitcoin continue to rise, which means it increase my dollar holding equivalent. I am thankful that I joined in some successful ICO before, it really help me earn additional bitcoin.

You seems to be Newbie but you have nearly 1 btc means that's really great. Have you bought the bitcoin or earned it via any project? Only ICO will not be provide this much income in short term right. I have 0.3 bitcoin in my electrum wallet. Other than that I use to exchange the btc for my personal use every month. If there is any project involves in bitcoin I can earn using Web development and analysis means guys let me know! I am ready to do it.

ICO means investing on a coin just like IPO in stock market.

Time price is above ICO if you see in terms of btc however it is up in dollar.

It's actually above ICO both in USD and BTC terms (most of the TIME tokens were sold during the bonus period)

The good thing is that this is a real project and considering that this is till below the ICO price in BTC it will surely strive to go up.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: April 24, 2017, 09:06:01 PM
I was browsing the NEM rich list and was surprised to see so many stakeholder accounts that are now empty or displaying balances of <100 XEM. One account once had 15 stakes bought from the NXT AE but now only has 25 XEM. Had they not sold, that would be worth over $1 million at current prices. I know it's good for distribution but still, ouch. Sad

On the other hand, there are also accounts which started off with a small amount of XEM and accumulated more over time. Several supernodes started off with only a small fraction of a single stake. Smiley
they sold their xems and now they are  Cry Cry Cry Cry
 Cheesy
good for the distribution as you said

those who are in the rich list before can still buy.
its still not too late to actually buy hundreds of thousands of nem. if they sold their, the cheap nem still are for sale on exchanges. the more buy orders however will make its price surge. but definitely, its cheaper still. having just $100 will get you thousands of it.

For this reason for me XEM interesting quality of investments .
XEM it's cents . XEM it's very cheap . Smiley

Because NEM have 100 billion supply. I am not saying NEM can't reach 100 billion US dollars cap market but come on. Time will tell.
NEM have 100 billion?
1-if you did a basic research of 5 min you wont say this number 100 billions but anyway
2- mathematically the THE NUMBER OF COIN supply  DOESN'T MATTER AT ALL . yes zero null nada
it is even better to have a big supply to avoid the problem of big divisibility like the btc is suffering from.

big supply will be like

send 500 xem to my mom for anniversary

small coin supply will be like

send 0.0000005 xem to my mom for anniversary

what is the better for you to send 500 xem or 0.000000005 xem

bitcoin supply is too small an issue a problem and an annoying headache.
and i think it is stupid to replicate the errors of bitcoin
we must bring something better than btc otherwise, why are we here in the first place.

If you understand my post you won't go beast mode. Yes there are 100 BILLIONS in supply that is why it is cheap. Should I prefer 500 over 0.00000500? Yes obviously.

633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BellaCoin [BELA] - scrypt coin - Annoucement on: April 23, 2017, 01:00:58 PM
Why is bela coin dumping like mad...its like d programmers aint serious....i regret buying it really

Days ago there were speculations that a giant investing company is joining bella. I think it was the reason the sudden doubling of price few days ago. Now no more news on that big company. Didn't reached an agreement I assume.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Portfolio on: April 16, 2017, 07:20:25 AM

Dumped my STEEM last night with more than 20% gains. I also sold some of my SC earlier worth my capital and i'll be holding my gains in SC for long term. Sold all my Eth and short it at Polo. GNT still sleeping. XMR will be moving soon as yearly forking just finished successfully.  Grin
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Portfolio on: April 13, 2017, 02:43:08 PM

XMR - I am really expecting this coin to reach back to 0.02 easily.
GNT - Maybe 10k short term tp?
STEEM - In the last few days this coin is easily 15k to 18k. Now it seems it went lower than I expected.
ETH - Easy 0.04 in few days.

XMR is a really strong coin i'm expecting that will climb the peak to 0.1 in some months/1 year, GNT i don't know what it is, steem was hacked when the value was at 600 k satoshi, there is no way this coin can recover anymore, the dump destroyed it, and eth is strong enough to hold that position until pos kick in at least, looking forward for it

Thanks for the insights sir. I agree with you regarding STEEM. I am just actually trying to short trade her and currently I cannot exit. Few days ago I bought SC. It was perfect entrance as yesterday it was pumped hard.

What are you holding right now sir? I am interested especially your long term coins.

Thanks SC. My 2018 Christmas would be great. I will be buying more after I sold some at 84 sat.  Grin

Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

Its good too hear your plans, just like me i don't have much BTC in my wallet and besides since I go trading also for a bit I've been busy looking at the charts and also for some paperworks in office. I do also have a long term plan for my BTC and ill just go with the flow when time comes  Grin
I'll tell you dude, you will not get the success in trading if you aren't focus on it, some people quit their job to go a full time trader because if only you
can do it well you will get a better income than you are getting in your day job. I realize the possibility of quitting my day job in the past as well but I'm still hesitant because I need to prove it yet that I can already make a consistent income to support my family and people that rely on me.

I can say I am also in this situation. Sometimes it feels good to analyze that scalping in trades is enough for a living. But as what an expert says before "You can only prove you are a good trader when you are still winning even if the market is bearish."
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Inventor of PoSP! on: March 28, 2017, 07:38:32 AM
It great now we no longer have to deal with Cryptsy coin FUD but the question still remains over the funds from CBX foundation being used in Spark ICO.
If there is no benefit or development for CBX as was originally stated in the ICO plans then shouldn't these coins be returned to be held and repurposed for CBX only development and not another altcoin project?

Is Spark going to be launched or what?

Storj to Migrate Decentralized Storage Service to Ethereum Blockchain

Long based on the Counterparty protocol, a top-level software that runs on the bitcoin blockchain, the move positions Storj as the latest blockchain firm to transition operations to ethereum, or at least away from bitcoin.

Great. The Ethereum network is becoming wider than ever and it will continue to do so.
