6201  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ₿rainboss Currency Exchange Service {BTC/NGN Altcoins/NGN} NGN = Nigerian Naira on: November 16, 2019, 07:47:58 AM
Hello Boss, You've a good thing going on here. I would love to patronize your services soon. I just have one question though. It looks like your dollar/Naira rate is fixed at N350/$  – I'd like to know if there's no room for negotiation of the NGN/$ rate. Will appreciate your response on this.

Officially $1 = N361+, bank/black market = N370 +/- but you can chat me up and we'll see if your offer can be put into consideration depending on the volume of your exchange request.
6202  Other / Meta / Re: Source merit increase. on: November 16, 2019, 07:25:30 AM
but I don't seem to have much chance of doing that given the failure of  my mining thread in the beginners' section.

You ask alot from this range of users, how about Instead of restricting the discussion to certain range of users you open it for everyone but your merit rewarding will then be concentrating on the range of users you're hoping to read contributions from. Your criteria seems to encourage creating of new account to contribute while discouraging others to respond supposedly they had something worth saying as of when they saw the thread.

Could also be since the topic been discussed already has a focus user based individuals and most of them already spent most of their time in the mining board, they're not aware of this opportunity you offer.
6203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 15, 2019, 08:43:10 PM
In fact in the next match we may see City will lose some points against them and the only reason will be the pressure City have right now.

Chelsea has beaten Manchester City recently so it isn't an impossible task. Last season we were a one man team, as the boys just play around and wait for hazard to perform his magic but now things are different as Chelsea has transformed into a team effort team. City might be seeking revenge but I have strong hope in Lampard's just as I backed him from day one. Even though the game doesn't go our way, I'm quite sure the boys will put on an awesome display.

About the title, well we aren't after that yet so yeah I back Liverpool to go all the way. What we're after right now is a top 4 finish and probably 2nd position so it'll be an improvement on sarri's last season performance. Next season we're coming for the premier league title been the contender against the defenders (Liverpool).

6205  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are the campaign managers doing the job correctly? on: November 15, 2019, 12:28:54 PM
So now that you didn't give us any reference to work with, what are you expecting to hear from us, some generic response like he isn't or is a good manager etc. Next time you decide to bring up such senstive accusation, kindly drop reference as that's the only way we can examine the situation and probably call the manage to order as a community or alert the sponsors of the campaign. If you're not ok with been the whistle blower with your main account, the forum isn't against creating alts for such purpose.

You should also understand that signature isn't the only form of advertisment as the avatar/profile message campaign participants wear are also a form of advertisment so when the signature ads isn't doing the job, the other ad medium steps in to do the job.
6206  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] FDCC Flamengo- Copy of another failed project, ITL (Italian Lira) on: November 15, 2019, 08:57:35 AM
Just went through the two projects announcement thread and the similarities is exactly as you stated, I'm having the feeling this isn't just a case of plagiarism but also a scam attempt from the same scammers that launch the previous projects probably, that's why the teams pictures irrespective of it been fake haven't be posted to avoid drawing attention to themselves.

Tagged the new project for Plagiarism. Good job OP
6207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Projects Scamming Bounty Hunters on: November 15, 2019, 08:41:35 AM
This is a free market meaning there isn't anything anyone can do about the ongoing situation of hunters getting aduse as slaves. The only way to avoid been scammed is to stop patronizing bounty campaign, the previous trick of joining a campaign because of the reputation of the managers, aren't even save this days as there isn't any guarantee of getting paid. Sure the manager might not have the intention of scamming the hunters but since they don't have a say on the project filling their promise of token distribution you can't blame them most times as all they do is just management of the participants.

To also minimize the risk of getting scammed you can build up your account to be eligible to participant in bitcoin signature paying weekly campaigns especially those managed by well know manager as funds for the campaign are usually had by the managers.
6208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current Phase: Qualification. on: November 15, 2019, 06:41:27 AM
Match results are in, just as I previously predicted, Ghana defeated South Africa, game ended 2:0. The biggest wins so far came from the defending champions as they won against Zambia by 5:0 scoreline. Mo Salah's Egypt has already began this tournament on a low form by drawing 1:1 to kenya in their first home game, very disappointing if you ask me.

Round 1 matches continue today while round 2 begins tommorow. The tournament is already living to expectations as it isn't shy of goals and also filled with outstanding display by the players.
6209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank Cryptocurrencies Are Pointless, Says Ex-Federal Reserve Chairman on: November 15, 2019, 04:43:41 AM
Although as a cryptocurrency enthusiast advocating for decentralization is something we're always in support of because wee have tested this decentralization and seen the benefits associated with it but on a large scale, the involvement of government bodies in the industry through centralized cryptocurrency isn't that bad. Currently we already have centralized non government backed cryptocurrency and they're performing just fine but with the government involvement, it'll be taking the industry to a whole new level also strengthening the trust of the average citizen in cryptocurrency which will also be beneficial to bitcoin.

I have said, government operating their centralized cryptocurrency will open the general public eyes to the awesome of bitcoin as a decentralized cryptocurrency since when to access your funds can't be restricted and each individual will have total control over their funds on like the gov centralized coins. Blockchain provides transpirancy, trustworthiness etc having the gov adoption those feature will be a plus to the society.
6210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to know if your email address was part of any data breach. on: November 14, 2019, 10:37:37 PM
How secure is the site privacy wise. Can it be confirmed that the site isn't storing the email addresses input into their system and probably selling them to third parties to be used for email marketing.

I try to avoid reviewing my email to sites that shouldn't have them in the first place just for extra precaution measure most especially as I hate unsolicited email and can't stand seeing them in inbox.
6211  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies as an alternative payment option in Africa. on: November 14, 2019, 10:17:41 PM
According to this Binance research, a few African countries seem to be quite interested in learning about bitcoin, with Nigeria and South Africa on the top:

And Binance is seizing the opportunity to get as much Africans especially Nigerians on board as possible by offering them the ability to trade their cryptocurrency with Naira, and also withdraw from the exchange, thread; Nigeria Naira becomes first Fiat currencies to be listed on Binance. No doubt Bitcoin has impacted the enthusiast from Africa positively but this myth of bitcoin been Africa savior is the reason many projects are popping up daily scamming Investors from Africa with the cover story of wanting to save the continent. I previously replied to this thread; Akon endorses Akoin to save Africa which is proposing the same BS. When it comes to saving the continents economy,
Africa as a continent only its citizens can save themselves when they realize they have the power to do so. Cryptocurrency is just a currency on a blockchain and not some God economy saver as it's presume to be by many. Until we realized this, the scammers would still be taking advantage of our ignorance to make millions/billions of dollars.

The benefits of bitcoin (cryptocurrency) in the continent currently revolves around them been an investment opportunities since the citizens has lost trust in the traditional investment vehicles. When it comes to everyday utility purpose we're still far behind and that won't be happening anything soon considering the current infrastructure challenges like Internet or availability of cheap smart phone/computers etc although we're still optimistic that's why peer2peer transaction is quite common in the region.

6213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you Believe Volume of the Coinmarketcap? on: November 14, 2019, 07:10:11 AM
This is how it works, initially coinmarketcap were supposed to display the correct volume of all cryptocurrency exchange but since there isn't any medium to authenticate the volume been sent to them by this exchange, that means the exchange can easily manipulate their trading volume from within the exchange, most especially the small exchanges. From the angle of coinmarketcap I don't see any benefit in them manipulating the volume of exchanges unless they're been paid to do so therefore the blames has to be on the exchanges.

Correlatively, this trading volume manipulation also affect the price of coins listed on the site. Since there isn't any means to verify the actual trading volume if this exchange, it's safe to say they're all fake especially as the industry isn't regulated and trading volume manipulation can be observe in all exchange via bot trading.
6214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current Phase: Qualification. on: November 14, 2019, 06:35:20 AM
We're on top of the table for Group L thanks to goals from Victor and Samuel. After missing out on the 2019 AFCON to Algeria, I believe Nigeria will put in more effort to edge out opponents this round. In group L,

You mean lossing to Algeria in the semi finals right because we were at the 2019 AFCON and came back disappointed with a 3rd place position.

Update: Here are the result from yesterday's 13/11/2019 features, the table in the OP will be updated once Round 1 feature are over. The tournament is already turning into an interesting one with goals already coming from all angle.

Out of the 11 game played, just two ended goalless while three (2 from the goalless) ended in a draw.

I want to start by stating that what you think is very sad. On the contrary, I am very happy to create this topic.

I meant before now since there wasn't a thread to discuss Africa football on international break like the one we're currently on, it seems we felt left out so I decided to create one so we can hangout to discuss Africa football.
6215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current Phase: Qualification. on: November 13, 2019, 06:31:01 PM
I think it will be a great tournament as always and probably will see many good games. For me the top contenders if I were to choose 4 would be,Egypt,Tunisia,Cameroon and Ivory Coast although there are a lot of other strong teams participating here. This is also another major tournament where if we play with caution and study a bit our bets we may make some extra money here too.

My top4 contenders would be Algeria, Senegal, Egypt and Nigeria. As usual I will expect players like Ndidi, Mane, Mahrez and Mo salah to continue with their current form as displayed in the premier league.

Yap! Salah should be the key for their national team as he is one of the heart of Liverpool FC. I just hope that he does not get any injury from this international break. I really hate this international breaks.

True, that would really be devastating for Liverpool's premier league campaign if Mo Salah does get injured, the physicality of the tournament posses the possibility of injuries but since this is just the qualification stage I'm quiet sure the commitment won't be that serious to risk injury considering all the big players are already aware of the competition presently in club football especially the premier league.

I hate the international break too but love the AFCON tournament since it present an opportunity to see our Africa exports (Africa footballers playing outside Africa) display for their respective countries.
6216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is diversification into different coins really a good advice for Newbies? on: November 13, 2019, 02:45:47 PM
I still based my reasoning on this school of thought, if you're a newbie that picked interest in investing in altcoins per se then investing in different set of projects is a perfect strategy to combat the risk of losing all your investment capital, just on one altcoin but if you joined the industry without any prior knowledge and wanting to diversify then the suggestion above should be the perfect strategy i.e you buy bitcoin and go buy other assets like stocks, company shares etc.

We'll always have those who'll be interested in Investing in altcoins, these set of Investors should always diversify, the rule of not 'keeping all your eggs in one basket' per se has to apply here since recent stats are indicating progress in selective altcoins compared to the general altcoin market. Although on a general note, they're investing in a particular class of investment "cryptocurrency - altcoins (to be specific)" but atleast their funds aren't tired to a particular project.
6217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current Phase: Qualification. on: November 13, 2019, 02:25:32 PM
The match of the round for me is Ghana - South Africa. Definitely not as polarizing as when the South Africans take on Nigeria, but there's still plenty of talent on display and a lot at stake, both teams would be expected to lead the group, the question is, who tops?

When was the last time the South Africa men's football team qualified for the AFCON? Hopefully they can make it out of the groupstage this time around although I don't think they'll defeat ghana. The most recent games (including international friendly) has either ended in a draw or Ghana winning by 1/2 goals margin so i guess the case this time won't be any different although the South Africa team are quite competitive abd are quite capably of winning.

Concerning the match, I still back Ghana to wins with a one goal scoreline difference considering they'll also be having the home ground to their advantage. Ghana is currently ranked 51 via FIFA Global ranking while South Africa is ranked 72.
6218  Other / Meta / Re: Do we need at least one merit source per local board section? on: November 13, 2019, 11:27:06 AM
Before you suggest appointing a source to all local board, how active are all the local boards. What discussion are ongoing on those boards that can't be discussed on the english board. Users of boards that aren't that active should be able to use their earned smerit to merit worthy posts on the boards. One thing I put into it considerations is the fact most local board patronizers can also communicate effectively in english so if a local board isn't that active per se then the board doesn't need a source to avoid the abuse of the system since supply (smerit) will be greater than demand (posts).

I only support applications (although not sure if it has any effect on the outcome) from users their local board are very active and in need of more smerits to encourage more quality discussion on the board.
6219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Akon endorses Akoin to save Africa on: November 13, 2019, 09:16:57 AM
This won't be the first time such lies have been used as a cover story to scam millions of Africans or the cryptocurrency community in general. We had similar story with the like of Floyd Mayweather, DJ Khaled and the most recent Ronaldinho all promising to change the industry with their self proclaim cryptocurrency or coins they endorse. They all turned out to be scam with the Ronaldinho cryptocurrency turning out to be just a ponzi scheme shitcoin.

Akon might mean well because from his humanitarian services we can all see he has the interest of Africans at heart but what does Akon know about cryptocurrency? Those sponsoring this project are those who'll benefits mostly from the million Akon's reputation will be fetching them. Don't fall victim to this type of scams, even bitcoin can't serve Africa as a continent only its citizens can save themselves when they realize they have the power to do so. Cryptocurrency is just a currency on a blockchain and not some God economy saver as it's presume to be by many. Until we realized this, the scammers would still be taking advantage of our ignorance to make millions/billions of dollars. Be vigilant, if it's too good to be true then it probably isn't true.
6220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current Phase: Qualification. on: November 13, 2019, 03:38:30 AM
In earlier competitions Cameroon would have gotten an automatic ticket to the competition by virtue of being hosts, but they have to also partake in the qualifying phase now. Well, I expect they would qualify easily from their group,

I was also suprise when i notice that too, tried googling but couldn't find any answer, could it been because they weren't the original nation to host the tournament? Earlier Ivory coast were supposed to host but it was later announced that Cameroon would take over as the hosting nation. This to me could be the only logical explanation why a host nation is also contesting but also on Wikipedia it already list Cameron as qualifiers due to they're the host nation.
The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations host, Cameroon, will participate in the qualifiers with the team guaranteed a spot in the finals regardless of its ranking in the group. Their matches and results will count in determining the qualification of the other teams from their group.

Nigeria opponents aren't that strong so definitely they should be able to make it out of the qualifications process. Nigeria will be playing Benin tomorrow as other match will be played (view OP) what's your predictions? I predicte a 3:1 goal scoreline in favor of Nigeria considering it's a home advantage match.
