6201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is dead these days, what next in the market? STO? IEO? on: December 30, 2019, 02:42:19 AM
In the last 2 years ICO has gone upto peak level with many projects.
Now ICO market is completely gone because of 90% projects fallen into scam category.
Many startups made huge money and in return they pay nothing.
So whats new these days as a trusted token offering model?

Crowdfunding of any kind should be stopped in my opinion, and they should just rely on angel investors or private sales, on private sales they will be facing their potential investors, and they should just list their coins in the market first and set up their platform before they invite the public to invest, but no public crowdfunding anymore.
6202  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should be tagged this user? He wants to create Doubler site and promote. on: December 30, 2019, 01:59:01 AM
He doesn't deserve a tag right now, but he will start promoting it, but I doubt if he is going to promote it here or he will use that account to promote that doubler, he might buy an account here with good rank or promoter it in traffic exchange or some other investment forum, or he might not once he found out the cost and he finds out that investors are wiser now.
6203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: December 29, 2019, 04:47:05 PM
Questions: Any videos about flipping there are no videos on English about this, and how many coins can I earn if I have computer mining in 8 hours daily.
I guess there are no vids in English that show how validation is conducted, however there is this semi official video in Chinese (I think). You don't need English voice-over explanation, process is simple enough to just understand by looking at it. Mute the sound and observe. As to how many coins in 8 hours of mining, I think it will be something around 37.5.

Thanks for this video my account is now a candidate status and will have to wait before January 2 before I can get my account to join the validation, I have bookmarked the date and looking forward to my first validation, how many validations do I need before I get my account validated and I read that on my third validation I can invite people, and do we have incentives if invite others using our code?
6204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: December 29, 2019, 09:06:02 AM
I just visited the idea website then downloaded the wallet and the node too. The synchronization process which I initially thought took a long time was very fast, maybe with the help of the node that I downloaded earlier. This project is very good for 2020 because the unique validation process plus this is very different from other altcoins.

Just got an invite code, download the software fully synched it and now I am on a candidate status next validation will happen 1/2/2020 9:30 pm on my computer I have no idea how this flip will be complete because there are no videos I just know I have to finish this in two minutes.
Questions: Any videos about flipping there are no videos on English about this, and how many coins can I earn if I have computer mining in 8 hours daily.
6205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Superstition in Number 13, What About the Casino? (Lucky Six) on: December 29, 2019, 02:14:41 AM
First, I will not offend anyone if he does not know or is wrong in his country, but number 13 is an "unfortunate number" and people do not like him.

Number 13 is associated with the Lucky Six, a game where numbers are drawn before you draw, 6 numbers in particular.
In this game, each of the balls has different colors, and by playing the "case" Plague number 13 is black.
For all those superstitious, this is very bad and brings a bunch of bad things

Now, people never pick 13 when choosing numbers, but I thought more deeply.
Maybe the machine has artificial intelligence that deliberately pulls out number 13 because it knows people are an unlucky number and people won't dial that number.
That is my guess, it may sound naive, but the scratch was 70% correct.

I am interested in your opinions on this, whether it makes sense and whether you agree.
If something is not clear to you, ask?

That's because there are too many movies about Friday the 13th, how unlucky it is and how scary if you associated with you, and maybe you are right that these betting sites will try to make the 13 to come up because people don't want to have an association with the number 13, and also surprised that you made a study on it.
6206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: December 29, 2019, 01:45:12 AM
We all are aware of bitcoin halving and most of the users are discussing about a possible bitcoin pump post halving which might or not not give pump to the value of altcoins. So do you think halving will provide openings for altcoins with a pump or altcoins will continue to be bearish in 2020?

Halving is what we've been waiting for talks of bearish should be minimal now, not all altcoins will enjoy a pump, only coins that's proven they're worth in the market will have a good chance to get a pump, but expect many shitcoins to try to get a life again because investors are going to look for new coins to invest and some of them are going to look further in the top 100 in the list, just like what happen in the last halvings.
6207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time for YouTube to vanish ... on: December 28, 2019, 11:07:15 AM
You will be surprised if you found out that Youtube is a millionaire maker, many new videos are going to be created because there is a lot of money to be made here, and it's still the number video sharing sites and will still be in the next five years, Uploader will not just leave Youtube, because it's part of their income and users, part of their habit everything are on Youtube.
6208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: December 28, 2019, 10:32:59 AM
I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?

I have not experienced that in the past, but in the past two new years I did not gamble because I prefer to drink and eat and be merry I have a whole year to gamble, but right now I just want to reflect on the past year and plan of the future and I start it by having a good drinks and be merry this new year.
6209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum co-founder Secretly Sold $11M Worth of ETH on Christmas Day! Got Outed! on: December 28, 2019, 09:30:16 AM
Are they unbeliever to sell their coin at a price that is to low from their all-time high, he could just wait for the right time to sell and at ten times fold of what's he's going to get now, but some people are right, it's his share he has the right to sell it anytime, even at a loss, I just hope he will still remain loyal to the Ethereum cause.
6210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: December 28, 2019, 08:55:22 AM
2019 is a year of struggle, so many projects are struggling.so many investors are struggling to find the right coin to invest and they are struggling to have faith in those coins, that they invested in, 2019 also is a good preparation of the what's great going to happen in 2020, although a very hard year for me I still have faith, that 2020 is big turn around on what happen this 2019.

6212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the Ethereum co-founder is a major selloff? on: December 27, 2019, 12:11:39 PM
It’s been confirmed that the mysterious 90,000 ETH sent to Kraken on Christmas Day was an Ethereum co-founder looking to quietly cash out.

We now can say for sure that it was an Ethereum co-founder who tried to slyly sell off his ETH stash during the holiday.

Source link here

For sure, this guy would really want to have a “millionaire lifestyle” of spending Christmas!

Although we respect their reasons for selling tokens (even me of course), it’s just that he cannot escape of being “quiet”. Thanks to the blockchain technology, everyone can track where the funds are moved, especially the co-founders which they disclose it to their community.

I have a question to all of you, especially the Ethereum community. What is your reaction about him moving his 90,000 ETH for the purpose of spending it during the Holidays. Is it okay or he should have cashed out only a little?
I'm one of the guys that are very bullish on Ethereum, after reading this I feel sorry for the guy Ethereum is still a strong coin, and he could have sold, a few and just sell some more again next year, but that his decision, I just feel this is the wrong time to sell his shares and why now why when it is higher than the price he has sold it.

6215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: December 27, 2019, 03:01:46 AM
I’ve been into Bitcoin since 2014. It’s always been my main thing, however I’ll admit I got swept up in the 2017 cycle and got burned on quite a few projects. I eventually consolidated back to 100% bitcoin.

Now I find myself in a situation where I really believe in Ethereum as the only other viable project. I’ve been accumulating Ether to the point where now I’m 80% BTC, 10% Eth and, 10% USDC (prepared to buy more BTC when the time is right).

I’m preparing for Eth 2.0 staking. I see all the Defi projects built on Eth. The stablecoins, the ecosystem. If Eth fell, it would bring a huge chunk of the crypto market down with it. So for this reason, I can’t see ethereum really disappearing. It’s the only crypto that I’ve actually used (I bought something with USDC, an ERC-20 token).

That said, I am concerned about those stolen $100million in Eth. That can depress the value of Eth for years. I’m concerned about the constant hard forking, the constant delay of Eth 2.0, and the general amateurish feeling of the project. I hate that Vitalik, and the ethereum foundation dumped their bags on people at the ATH.

Part of me wants to just sell my Eth for BTC and not look back. Another part of me wants to keep buying Eth as it goes down.

Any intelligent insights on this forum? Not a pissing match, not a shitcoin shill session. Just honest feelings about Ethereum from other veterans in the space.

I'm also do not see Ethereum going down to its position, I strongly believe that it is secured in the second spot, so many tokens are relying on Ethereum, I am very bullish on Ethereum in fact 20% of my portfolio is Ethereum, Bitcoin being the main, even if there are few ICO or IEO that build their token in Ethereum, there are still who use their platform for educational or company only token.
6216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Will You Bet Or Gamble Before New Year, Or On The New Year on: December 26, 2019, 04:02:56 PM
I want to know will you gamble before the year-end to try to get the most before the year-end or will you prefer to gamble after the new year to welcome the year, or will you prefer to do both, I'm having second thought betting before the year-end I might end up empty-handed, coming to the new year, and I'm also having second thought gambling in a new year I might end up starting the year with a lost.

6218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Half of all Phishing Sites Now Have the Padlock Sign on: December 25, 2019, 02:59:47 PM
So many or almost all of these HYIP's are hosted in a secured SSL, because any website operator can buy a comodo to encrypt it and makes the site legit, but it doesn't guaranty the site is legit, it's not even a factor I looked when looking in a project, the plan, the people behind it are some of the things that you need to look but never the site's encryption.

6220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 25, 2019, 01:41:20 PM
I'm just curious about what people think about their main purposes to play gambling. Usually, we only know that people play gambling because they expect to be rich (earn money). Are there any other common purposes of a gambler why he/she plays gambling daily? Let me know what your purposes are, mate. Thanks

People are choosing to have fun in spare time, there is also an option to become an experienced gambler, whatever choice you will make I'm sure that you will also accomplish that as well if you want to gamble in your spare time and have some fun, you can do that but you will also become experienced and might end up a playing for money too.
