6202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why not to invest in bitcoin? on: April 26, 2018, 08:33:34 AM
IMO the only really good reason to not “invest” in bitcoin is due to the fact that you don’t have the necessary means to be able to afford to do so. Like many investments, bitcoin is risky as well as all cryptocurrency. Also bitcoin is truly not meant as an investment. It was created as a global payment system.

6204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: April 25, 2018, 09:30:30 PM
They are similar to and extent. As a licensed financial guy and gambler, the latter is much safer/smarter. It’s fun to gamble but keep it within your means. Bitcoin is a gamble too, I really like this calculated risk!
6205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: April 25, 2018, 09:28:10 PM
A good gambler is like a good investor. Study, stay within your means, practice, and take well calculated risks.

6209  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Sol Noctis Binary Eagle on: April 25, 2018, 04:10:49 PM
These coins have been consistently selling from $475-550 USD's for the past 6 months, if not longer.  Right around where the recent auction sold.  IMO that is current market value.

BONUS ADDED- EACH LOT Labeled "+ PENNY" will include a loaded BTC Penny.  4 coins will be loaded consisting of .001BTC, .003BTC, .003BTC, .01BTC ...the kicker is you don't know which coin will include which amount...I will be sending Ticked a list of 4 public keys at random to load once the auction is over, and by the time you receive your coin you will be able to check how much was loaded on it.  We both thought this would be fun.  (GREAT IDEA TICKED)

YOU MIGHT NEED TO REFRESH MULTIPLE TIMES

Lot 1- TOYS  + Penny

With the exception of the fiero toy (I just like those), all of these items were inherited to me by my grandfather.  They are all vintage 1982-83 never been opened. (yeah, the D&D dragon box is beat, but the toy is pristine).  When cleaning out his garage, I stumbled onto a pile of boxes filled with toys.  Turns out he had a business importing LJN/other toy goods, & shipping them to a partner in NJ for retail.  This is what stock was left.  For 20 years, we didn't know that every christmas he took a bundle of these and donated them to toys for tots.  These items come from a history of charitable nature. One step further, My grandfather was first generation American, a very DIY man. There wasnt a year he didnt keep a garden. Some years more lush than could be walked through. fruiting enough vegetables to give to the entire family and then the local neighbors. Tomatoes, Zuchinis, grapes, cucumbers, peapods, corn, eggplant you name it. To ensure proper conditions, he used his own horses' manure for fresh soil, and yes of course, even kept bees.  All in all, I felt these items were representative of a man who put forth the efforts to properly sustain farming and ultimately generosity towards all things human or otherwise.

As far as value use, this lot, if I eBay'd piece by piece, would be ~ 400. the triex's have 3 settings and generally net about $20/ea, standard rough riders ive gotten from 15-25. they all run on a single AA battery and have headlights. I may post a picture later. fun little toys. The Japanese Converters...transformers (sepcifically the maladroid with gun) ive seen fetch up to 75+.  The ET set, maybe 30ish.   But mid you this, this stock never saw shelves.  Much of it has no price label. even far less common. Dragonne is 50+ all day. and Mercion 15ish.

Lot 2-Paper Wallets  + Penny  Info- 3 different Polymerbit including 10 Gluden, 10 Garlic 100 Gluden, plus The Mag 7 (missing one note)info here-https://physicalbitcoins.co.uk/product/the-magnificent-7-thug-life-posse/

Lot 3 + Penny - BYOB #127 - you know the original retail price + another 8 oz silver.  5 old Egyptian style silver replica oz's were included for a reason.  Honey...its the only food that doesnt go bad.   Mummies have been found with vats of dried honey, all it took was a little heat and that shit was good to eat again. Just fascinating to me. The cryptocracy DIY coin is of a limited 100 coin run.

Lot 4-Scano Honey

I requested this be in its own lot.  This honey is for someone who truly LOVES honey.  Sourced directly from the producers in Scano, Italy (a mountain village population 2k winter, 10k summer), My girlfriend's extended family makes their livelihood producing this succulent goo.  It looks clearer than anything Ive ever called honey before, but taste sweet, clean, and delicious in a way I can't describe nor have I encountered elsewhere.  The twice yearly allotment that makes its way to the states is fought over internally amongst the family. When I told them of this initiative, they were happy to donate for such a cause.  They've been keeping bees for generations, speaking further to the fact that sustainability in bee farming needs to be maintained, and select groups are doing so.  The best vote is to vote with your dollar (or bits) and buy from either local, or vendors who are known to practice proper methodologies.  I hope this lot goes to an appreciator of flavors.  Fantastic in your tea or used as a glaze. For tea, this shit is potent, itll last.  If you want it on top of your melted brie. God help you, Ill get a case in order for you next time.

Lot 5 -Anonymous Bullion Coins + Penny -Four 1 oz .999 silver & 3 .999 copper coins- new lot added by Ticked

Lot 6- Graciously donated by ZipReg! ( Sale thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3224029.0 )

6220  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Ready to Ship] NaTTyMiNd SAMSARA 5 Oz Silver Wallet (Sales Thread) on: April 23, 2018, 02:00:49 PM
Is there supposed to be a wood piece to hold  the coin in place inside the case..like Buck has posted ?

This is an oversight, I will send you an insert. Long strict short I had to swap the original inserts for a custom insert - my bad.

All good, hold tight on sending it. Will be in touch later today. Thx!
