6201  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: March 30, 2019, 07:51:09 AM
Why will you want to hack into gambling sites? To take back what already belongs to them? I guess you could do that on some unsecured and centralized websites.  If they could do it on crypto exchange, why not gambling websites.
It would be difficult or impossible on blockchain gambling though
6202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese Poker, Classic and Open Face Thread on: March 30, 2019, 07:47:22 AM
Sounds interesting. What could that be? Is it different from other kinds of poker or because it is located in China or it is a blockchain thing?
Thought gambling is not tolerated in China by the way.
6203  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Any one here receives this porn blackmailing on: March 30, 2019, 07:42:48 AM
You should report the crook to your local police. Local police does work with their international counterparts to track down  international criminals. I don't think he is watching you. But if you suspect he does then put tapes on your front cameras.
This is why I dislike the creepy things called front camera or webcam. I have them all sealed with tapes.
6204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of Offchain Solutions for Crypto Coins on: March 29, 2019, 05:26:31 AM
Counterfeiting on Lightening Network really possible? If yes , how possible? Who could do the Counterfeiting without being detected or getting caught? How can Counterfeiting be possible when transactions on LN are not with real Bitcoin. Has anyone successfully Counterfeited on the network before or this is mere speculation?
6205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x growth over the last month on: March 29, 2019, 05:24:38 AM
This is a good achievement but I don't think the platform have a chance, just look at how many forum in the space that have come and shut down trying to compete with Bitcointalk.org, the project seems to be late to the space and will require a lot of funding to market and brand the platform for it to be attracted to users

Is it really trying to compete with Bitcointalk.org? I don't think so. It looks like a blogging site while bitcointalk.org is a forum. I think the site was created mainly to serve bounty hunters who had no website to create and post contents. It will probably a general blogging site now
6206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x growth over the last month on: March 29, 2019, 05:21:32 AM
Oh Bounty0x owns Publish0x too? I have seen it mentioned alot by the company but I never took note of similarity at the end of their names. I have some bounty0x tokens I got from tips on Telegram, guess it is not enough to experiment with it on publish0x
6207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap faking volume on: March 29, 2019, 05:18:25 AM
There has been a lot of complaints about related problems on coinmarkcap. I  suspect they are getting different prices from different exchanges with wide price difference. Coins affected by this may be newly listed coins
6208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pension funds bringing money to Bitcoin. on: March 29, 2019, 05:14:43 AM
Decentralized pension fund will certainly be a good one if done right.. It would be great to have it packaged in viable decentralized Nation.
Blockchain is the best to keep funds long term without fear of losing it to hackers or poor economic management
6209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter moving towards blockchain? on: March 29, 2019, 05:12:31 AM
Seems op does not trust the blockchain or something.
Of course it is a good thing if they move to Blockchain. But I don't they will. They are probably going to use some blockchain coins while having their data  on centralized data storage.
6210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: March 28, 2019, 08:25:43 PM
Depends on the project. If it is a solid viable project with serious team and  unique products, then I will most likely hold long term.  People shouldn't accept substandard tokens though.

The above are some of things every investor/should research about a project before accepting it coins
6211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction also a result of trauma? on: March 28, 2019, 08:19:48 PM
Addicts are probably troubled souls looking for happiness or fun stuff. Once they discover the fun stuff they find it hard to abandon such experience for the old sad experience.
Addicts need to consider looking for safe alternatives that are beneficial and make them happy
6212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: March 28, 2019, 08:17:42 PM
It seems sports is less risky even though I don't know both games very much. By the way I thought the chance of winning a dice are much lower than the 95% due to the probability factor.
6213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Block Chain going to be the only option for the Gaming industry ? on: March 28, 2019, 08:14:07 PM
It definitely will not.  Centralized gaming platforms will still exist for taxes and regulations in some cases. The centralized gaming platforms could  take advantage of blockchain cryptocurrency and smart contract while still remaining centralized.
6214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: March 28, 2019, 07:31:01 PM
It is much safer than poker if you concentrate a little more on established cryptocurrencies. If you need poker or gambling-like experience then you should trade the unpredictable low volume coins
6215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to minimise the trading fee? on: March 28, 2019, 07:12:32 PM
I would advise you not to get too comfortable with the words "regulated crypto exchange" . When you keep all your funds on the exchanges and they get, hacked or stolen, you probably won't get it back or it will take you too long to get it back.
Regulated exchange indeed.
6216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at a Non Profit? on: March 28, 2019, 07:07:29 PM
Bitcoin would be the most suitable cryptocurrency for this. You could buy and sell Bitcoin anywhere in the world through peer-to-peer platforms like LocalBitcoin and paxful. If you can access these and similar websites in those countries, you probably would able to trade the with local traders on the platforms

Any alternative is cryptocurrency Ethereum. You can buy and sell it locally here: https://localethereum.com/
6217  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a new crypto exchange take a place in the market? on: March 27, 2019, 08:22:10 PM
No, it is not monopolized from what I know. If your friend's has a unique product and services, he  will most likely do well in the market. Nobody is monopolizing anything. Cryptocurrency is not permissioned products you can easily build empires around and monopolized it.
6218  Economy / Economics / Re: North Korean dissidents selling Ethereum-based post-liberation visas on: March 27, 2019, 08:08:43 PM
Visa on a blockchain will be an interesting one.
Best way to use it would be on a blockchain based Virtual Nation. I imagine that a nonfungible unique Visa on the blockchain could also be made in picture form and stored on IPFS or somethingBTC
6219  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin on WhatsApp Coming on: March 27, 2019, 08:05:58 PM
Aren't Facebook and whatapp  sharing the upcoming Facebook coin on their platforms?

Sounds a bit like Telegram Pajar. That of Telegram is capable of multiple-coins transactions and tipping within Telegram.
6220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: March 27, 2019, 06:28:13 PM
Maybe gambling addicts and those who care  should be inquiring whether playing for fun could lead to addiction. Some say the "fun part" is probably why some gamblers are trapped in their addiction. This is probably true.
