6221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin on: August 28, 2018, 02:14:38 PM
Is this really happening. I think this will be huge support for existing of bitcoin. Recently,I heard that Samsung started to accept Bitcoin on 3 countries. It is said that customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.

Yes they do and is always great to see those big whales joining to the market. As we can see in this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4722925.0 they start accepting bitcoin in 3 countries, lets hope to see them accepting payments in all the globe soon.
6222  Other / Meta / Re: what is actually our mission in the bitcointalk forum on: August 28, 2018, 01:34:09 PM
what is actually our mission gathered in this bitcointalk forum, what just looking for money what the fraternity between countries or between cities .. please his explanation Huh

The mission is to spread the bitcoin word, to help newbies and to make a business opportunity for all users. Most of users join as new members on the bitcoin world making the basic questions, and after some years they end teaching to the new users.

To build one community was for sure another mission, and they do it right. We can say this is the biggest bitcoin community in internet now.  Cheesy
6223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Claims being lost... on: August 28, 2018, 02:42:06 AM
is it possible that the bounty that i joined is a fake one.??

Yes it is,lot of icos end that way.

Is it possible that i can lost my claims during the campaign period?

is possible that you and other tons of people lost their claims if the ico is a scam.

This is a hard way to learn, but at end you get the lesson, if you will junt to a ICO, read all you can about the business and who is behind it, that help a lot before start wasting your time on a scam.

6224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is possible for beginner can long term hold Altcoin? on: August 28, 2018, 02:26:33 AM
Can you suggest me which one is best Altcoin coin hold for 2018? Huh

There is not best altcoin, but there are lot of different features on coins, and one of them is staking, if the idea is to hold, then clam coin is a good option, because with stacking you can generate new coins while you hold them, it have an average of 1 clam/day for each 1000 clams you hold. And we know 0.1% daily sound awesome, the problem is if the coin goes down, i have seen it in the top of $13 and now is at $2 if you buy them at $10 and get the 0.1% daily but it crash to $2, then will be hard to recover that $80 lost and the 0.1% daily will become 0.02% of the initial inversion. until the coin recover from that crash.
6225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there's another way to pay in the future? on: August 28, 2018, 01:37:43 AM
Im thinking like an micro chip implanted in our body. This system is not out of the picture because how we discover things every year, it is not impossible that in the future this things may happen and it will boom like btc.

Those microchips are based on the NFS technology, maybe we will see more like that in the future but now that technology is vulnerable because if you put the terminal close to the chip it will charge the payment, so you can be walking while the man behind you take your money just walking by your side.

I think cards will be rolling some other years, and then users will pay from their implanted chips or their phone.
6226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BMW now accepts Bitcoin as a payment! on: August 28, 2018, 01:34:24 AM
Well, that's a cars seller who acept bitcoins, that doesn't mean you can buy a BMW with bitcoins at any sell point. And this is normal, some years ago i remember a guy selling a Lambo for bitcoins, and that was a great business becuase bitcoin was at $250 in that time, so, the seller hit the moon.

Some other big companies already accept bitcoin as payment (like dish), and with time we will see big firms doing it too.
6227  Other / Off-topic / Re: The value of time on: August 27, 2018, 05:56:22 PM
After drinking 8 beers and then go to the toilet, but you see 5 persons waiting for the toilet before you, that's one of that moments in life where each second counts and become an eternity. I can think in more examples for this, but this is the most fun one  Cheesy I't makes push yourself to the limits, lol
6228  Other / Off-topic / Re: where you are spending your most of time on: August 27, 2018, 05:11:15 PM
Hello every one
Im doing a servey. Please do vote this and answer it.
where you are spending your most of time, on this forum or on social sites like fb and twitter.
And why?

this forum is for me better than any social network, and yes, i spend more time here than the time i spend i Facebook, social networks are nice to waste time, but this forum is a great place to teach and learn about bitcoin.

While more involved with the forum you end spending more time on it. But at end it worth it.
6229  Other / Meta / Re: Just an idea on: August 27, 2018, 02:56:46 PM
Would be nice to have a list from the scam icos, but maybe could be an external project that the forum, something like https://deadcoins.com/ project.

To find all the ICOs could be a hard task, butt if you find a fast way to find them all, then you have half of the project done.
6230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can I create new private key on: August 27, 2018, 01:49:16 PM
I entered an invalid  private key and a pop up window had the following:" the text you entered is not a valid key.
This mean your private key have a problem, if you write it by hand be careful with 1, l, I... or other similar characters, but if you do it direct with a QR. each wallet have different steps to import privatekeys:
Electrum: https://support.btcprivate.org/403137-Bitcoin-Private-Electrum-Wallet---How-to-sweepimport-Private-Key
Bitcoin core: https://www.bitcoin.com/guides/how-to-import-and-export-bitcoin-private-keys
Blockchain info: https://blog.blockchain.com/2014/06/18/tutorial-the-import-export-feature-in-your-blockchain-wallet/
Would you like to use the entered text as a paraphrase and create a private key using a SHA256 hash of the paraphrase?
Is better if you fix it your self before involve some one in the problem  Tongue But we will help you to find a solution.
6231  Other / Off-topic / Re: Easy Twitter on: August 26, 2018, 06:57:53 PM
Great list, those are some nice tools i have used in past to manage the followers and avoid the bots. But at end i like more the other side of twitter, to be the man behind the bots  Tongue now i have a big number of accounts and they can spam hard with the codes i have for them. But sadly i realize this was doing damage to the social network and i stop using them. Now i only use one account and that's not managed by bots, its managed by me.
6232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly $ 1 billion worth of Ethereum is in ICO projects on: August 26, 2018, 06:42:38 PM
Pleas don't forget to post your source. If this is true then icos are the right way to get a ton of ETH now day's, and it's normal to see icos selling their stock because they need bitcoin to support their coin once it join to a exchanger and they need money to send to their pockets too  Cheesy

Personally i don't like icos at all is hard form me to trust them, but with this nice amount of money i should get more involved with them.
6233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to retrieve bitcoin from deceased brother on: August 26, 2018, 06:28:00 PM
Hello,  my brother passed away last week. Yesterday I heard he had purchased bitcoin a long time ago. What do I need to do to be able to sell his bitcoin as part of his estate.  I have no bitcoin wallet app from him.  Don’t know password. There is no will, although I can obtain an attorney who can legally appoint me as administrator of the estate. He lived in Miami, Florida. Thank you for any help

One thing you can do is to get the passwords from his web browser and try to open the wallet with those passwords. This is not a 100% working method, but if you have luck then he use the same password for some things.

Other thing to do is to take a look to his important files, some people store paper wallets in a printed sheet, if that's the case then you can import the wallet and take the btc.

Hope this tips helps Wink and i'm sorry for your brother always a family miss brings pain  Cry
6234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year? on: August 26, 2018, 06:06:50 PM
Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year?  After the $18,000+ rise, bitcoin has not yet recovered from the great fall. Will it continue to go lower and lower? Or do we have hope that it will hit high this year?
What do you think fellas?

Yes my friend, bitcoin will fall, and we will not see it at $20k this 2018. Is like the first time it hit $1k remember it drop the next year to $250, and after some years the bump comes. So is good time to hold money in USD and then buy cheap bitcoins  Wink
6235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of questions and answers are the same on: August 26, 2018, 06:04:00 PM
So, reading the first 2 pages of topics on this forum I have noticed that every single question is either:
- Will Bitcoin be the most amazing thing ever?
- Will bitcoin crash and burn?

Almost every answer is exactly the same:
- It will be amazing because "I believe", "I have faith" etc etc
- It will crash and burn because it has no value/too volatile/the secret world society will not let it be mainstream, whatever...
- No-one knows but I will write a ton of words which say that.

Whether Bitcoin ends up rising in value, replacing global financial systems, crashing etc etc the answer is nothing more than NO ONE KNOWS....
Your "faith" "belief" etc in it is irrelevant, unless you can manipulate the price, news, etc you have no influence over its success.

All you are doing is taking a gamble/speculating.... you may get lucky or not.... just make sure it is money that won't ruin your life if it all goes away.

I bought some bitcoin because I am greedy and want it to go up in price so I can sell to someone else for more money.
Is it the best investment.... of course not....
But is it fun, hell yes!

Trading it can be fun, like going to a casino where you think you know how the cards are stacked.....

I don't think is just random questions, each day we have new tools to spaculate with bitcoin, even that day news are a tip to know how markets will change, but at end is all speculations, as you say we can't really be sure about what will happen. But people some times get good hints for markets from users on this forum. For example, if we read in the news that china and rusia are banning bitcoin, then is a hint to move the inversions wisely.
6236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help me Install Bitcoind for a fee on: August 25, 2018, 07:54:55 PM
Can somebody help me install and set up bitcoind for a fee on a hosting server?

The easy way is to run a script who make the job for you https://github.com/joshmg/bitcoind

As the article say:

Quote
These scripts will install the bitcoin-qt daemon on your Debian machine.
The daemon is run under its own user; its data us located in its home directory.

You can use git to get the file with command line https://github.com/joshmg/bitcoind.git, then run it and you will get your bitcoin node running after download those +200Gb of the past blocks.
6237  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰 ETH-JACKPOT.com - Ethereum Jackpots For All 💰 on: August 25, 2018, 12:33:54 AM
I just take a look to the site, looks like it's having lot of bets, and congrats for that.

The only thing i don't like was the frontend, you need to add a better design and a attractive interface for the users. I will give it a try soon and hope to hit those jackpots.

Would be nice to see BCH option in that site.
6238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Question on: August 24, 2018, 10:50:45 PM
There are 21 million Bitcoins and nothing more. There are 17.2 million Bitcoins in existence. There are 3.8 million Bitcoins left. How much will the last 100 bitcoins sell for?

This is a speculation question, and the only way to know the answer is by a time travel. But we can be sure of one thing, when that happen the markets will panic and there will be a mega bump in the price. Since there will not be more bitcoins mined then the ones who have bitcoin will not let them go easy. So, it will be a nice moon for btc and maybe one of the biggest bumps in bitcoin history.
6239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what's the difference between blockchains? on: August 24, 2018, 10:22:50 PM
like there is ethereum blockchain and bitcoin one. or not?
can u give me some trustable resources to learn it?

All of them are blockchains because have the same root, and that's the blocks with transactions on them, but at the same time each blockchain have it own rules, for example, bitcoin blockchain have blocks each 10 minutes, and clamcoin blockchain have blocks each minute. As we can see each blockchain have it own rules and that's what makes them different.
6240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: August 23, 2018, 11:45:37 PM
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet. In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??

This is not just a theory, is already happening on China. Let me share the source with you: https://bitcoinist.com/china-escalates-cryptocurrency-ban-will-block-124-offshore-exchanges/

Is like all the illegal stuff, while the police doesn't know you have it, then you are safe. It remember me when Canadian Gov. ban Just-Dice, at end the owner from that site send the cash back to all the investors and users before the gov take it. But it can happen, Govs have the power to shut down a site and take all the money like they already do with Silk road.
