6221  Other / Politics & Society / Re: all lives matter only until black lives matter is a faschist slur on: July 20, 2020, 10:26:01 PM
there are a few things where blacks are disadvantaged.
such as living in run down neighbourhoods where its low income families meaning less tax going into treasury and more going out to support incomes. which the causes budget restrictions on things like redeveloping social housing, creating more social housing and also funding schools

BUT
white people also have low incomes and in the same neighbourhoods with the same local schools and local stores that dont offer fresh veg due to the price of tinned veg being cheaper and all that people can afford.
low income families cant afford gas and an oven to boil veg. the most they can handle is a tin opener and a microwave. so even making veg cheaper then stumbles into the household bills of preparing food
Then blacks aren't in disadvantage. Smiley
Blacks and whites share the same living standards. It's not even a racial issue, but a character issue.

i know we are living in the era where businesses can get cheap labour by outsourcing manufacturing abroad or replacing staff with automated machines (heck even mcdonalds are doing it with their touchscreen kiosks)
Although machines are taking humans jobs, it's not bad. Just look how many opportunities first world countries (the most developed technological ones) have to offer. By a quick search on the internet it's possible to see the disponible offers for these countries that aren't disponible for the rest of the world. So I think there isn't any excuse for a first world citizen go rogue.

so trying to find that pivotal starting point of expanding employment that can roll into causing more positive lives, is not easy
the main problem with manufacturing abroad is because the exchange rate has be motivated to keep asian countries low so we can buy stuff from them cheap. however a switch where the GBP/USD is low compared to asian currencies wil make it more expensive to buy from there to inspire local manufacturing and also get asia to buy from the west which would put more funds into the west. instead of the west putting funds into the east right now
West can only overcome east mass production if they totally automate the process. In human competition west will always lose, as western citizens don't accept the same working standards easterns do. Easterns accept to work more for less and without protesting for labor rights. How can be western market competitive if it goes on the exactly opposite direction?
6222  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 20, 2020, 09:37:47 PM
Keep in mind internet adoption didn't reach everywhere yet, as its implementation is still too expensive in some places, consequently local communities don't have enough resources to pay for the installation (anthem) or to pay for a satellite internet monthly subscription.
And without internet, virtual transactions aren't possible, even if people were seeking for this. I think it is the main challenge to overcome physical transactions and to adopt a fully digital system, but I expect satellite internet investments are going to increase soon as it's the most practical source of signal as far as I know, what will make the service cheaper, covering the whole world with signal. When this happens we will be ready to phase out physical cash completely. Older people will have to adapt to it as they did before towards vehicles, electricity, television and more...
6223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from the Past: When bitcoin's price stabilised on: July 20, 2020, 08:23:33 PM
It's like that saying *fools rush in*, isn't it?
I know there is a lot of pressure from people on the internet saying bitcoin is dead always the price start falling, so it's important to be very focused on your goal: if you believe bitcoin's potential and if you have been following its progress since the beginning don't change your mind just because some non-adopters are badmouthing bitcoin and making fun of its enthusiasts, otherwise you will be the one prejudiced later, not them, as you are the one holding these coins.
6224  Other / Politics & Society / Re: all lives matter only until black lives matter is a faschist slur on: July 20, 2020, 05:04:58 PM
I think media and corporations aren't stupid, it's just part of the plan to destabilize the country and create chaos. Media, corporations, social movements, politicians... All of them have a role on this novel: corporations fund social movements that are protected by politicians and this chain is endorsed and kept by the media and its celebrities who work to make common citizens accept normally the violence, riot and degradation as the protesters were just fighting for their rights. It's not happening only in United States however.
6225  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't buy facemasks for the coronavirus! on: July 20, 2020, 05:03:37 AM
It is sad to see that there are a lot of people who are not believing to what face masks can do, I also saw a video posted by NowThis where a lot of people in the United States doesn't believe that face mask are effective. I think it is the main reason why their country is the no.1 in terms of having infected person and also in terms of death related cases. It is better to wear face masks than to weak oxygen later in hospital. Our lives are matter and if we want to not get infected with other infected person, be sure that we are wearing face masks.
On free countries where the politics are polarized, like United States, there is a lot of sabotage to inflate the numbers and drive the common sense/public opinion against the establishment's targets, in this case: Trump's administration and supporters.
There are several cases of people who didn't die from coronavirus, but they were counted as if they did on the statistics. On the other hand, at strict shady countries where free of speech is limited or masked by authorities, the number os deaths is underestimated, as there isn't transparency, then it causes a false impression some countries are being very effective combating coronavirus, while others are being disastrous.
6226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: July 20, 2020, 01:05:39 AM
Meanwhile bounty hunters are losing time promoting projects that can be aborted at any time justified by any shameless excuse. But I can't blame solely developers. If these scams are still running it's because there are still bounty hunter applying to join them... If there weren't anyone, projects would have to raise their standards and pay at least minimum decent rates to their promoters. And having to pay something worthful, scammers would think twice before launching their coins.
Who cares about giving out worthless tokens, what scammers are doing is to promote the project and you get plenty of people doing that and they are only looking to raise more money and then start again with a new name, this is the kind of scam we used to see from the start and people who join the projects without any background verification will suffer. To start a project the amount of money anyone need to spend is minimal and all you need is an attractive website, so expect scammers to come up with innovative ways.
Exactly, it's too easy for scammers. Their only *loss* are these worthless tokens.
But I mean if bounty hunters claimed to be paid in decent crypto currencies, developers would have to make a larger initial investment to run their projects, what would make many scammers give up using icos to earn money and deceive people, as they would have to really invest resources from their pockets into the project. However, as you said and I agree, scammers always come up with innovative ways... But it can't be an excuse for people on the other side stop fighting them back!
6227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: July 19, 2020, 09:02:13 PM
At the same time, one shouldn't be that surprise because most of the so called new projects are run by scammers with want to scam bounty hunters of their hard earned coin. I have decided to pay less attention to any untrue story about any coin. I do my research very well about any coin. And have been doing a great job in that area.
That is true. Just look what these developers have to lose... Nothing! They don't put any money from their pockets on these projects to pay promoters. They are just paying worthless tokens created from thin air.
Meanwhile bounty hunters are losing time promoting projects that can be aborted at any time justified by any shameless excuse. But I can't blame solely developers. If these scams are still running it's because there are still bounty hunter applying to join them... 6228  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Now You And Your children Are Not Safe in Biden's America on: July 19, 2020, 08:10:44 PM
It's not any secret the leftwing ideology increases criminality where their ideas are applied. Even the leftists know it and when they see people are aware about these facts they put someone more *moderated* as their candidate on the front line, that is why I think they preferred Biden rather than Sanders, because they knew an assumed socialist wouldn't please american people to guarantee them a victory.
However a moderated leftist is just the guy who will clean the way for the extremist come next without resistance.

I don't know which way they want to lead the America. This time to shake hands but they are fighting with each other.
I respectfully don't agree on this. If Trump thinks children are not safe in Biden's America why should he shake hands with him?
It would smell hypocrisy or connivance to me. Trump has popularity because he has personality and doesn't try to please adversaries like traditional politicians do.
6229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 19, 2020, 07:17:30 PM
I expect we pass through this pandemic stable as we are doing at this moment. If bitcoin is able to stay stable while traditional economies are falling it's without doubts a great achievement for the digital currency, what can boost new investments in bitcoin futurely.
If at the end of this our national economies are too weak and crypto currency is at least stable, our countries can even take advantage of crypto currency and adopt it at least through an experimental level: adopting and incentivizing adoption, investing and accepting investments.
It can be a method to attract external money to the country (investments).
6230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: July 19, 2020, 06:39:35 PM
Most food stores (supermarkets) make small profit, but in quantity from its customers. Any adoption they make on their systems need to be worthful when they analyze how much percent of that public is going to be benefited by the adoption.
Then for now it's not interesting for supermarkets owners as this adoption will benefit probably less than 1% of their customers, and if compared to the profit they already make with fiat it's even less interesting. Bitcoin adoption must increase first among individuals before supermarkets and food stores in general start adopting this.
6231  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you feel safe going outside? on: July 19, 2020, 05:50:32 PM
and I even drink vitamins and eat healthy foods to keep my immunity strong.
That is the most important protection you can get, to keep your body healthy and well fed. The mask and alcohol measures are just secondary.
Actually, after watching a documentary about a russian hermit family living at taiga by themselves for decades that was discovered by a group of geologists who probably infected most of the family members who become sick and died suddenly, as their immune systems were weak and they didn't have other people around to pass diseases to each other and fortify their immunity, I start thinking if the safety W.H.O protocols are really benefical.

The same could happen after this pandemic. People are protecting themselves too much with masks, alcohol and social distancing, what could led many of us to just weak our immunity more and more. Once we have to return to our normal duties, in contact with other people our bodies will be weaker and simple diseases will take us down...

For an example: it's like that child who can't walk on barefoot, play outside the house, get caught in the rain and so on... Because the mother is super protective. It will surely affect the child not only psychologically, but also physically.

6233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Medalist Bought Bitcoin on: July 19, 2020, 12:23:08 AM
To introduce celebrities into crypto universe is a smart movement from many crypto exchanges and other related businesses, as they work promoting not only crypto currencies, but also crypto businesses. Although I can't assure this athlete is being paid to promote bitcoin in this case, I see no problem on this.
The range of this kind of advertisement is too long: celebrities can reach not only their fans and followers, but also at media vehicles in general. The only issue is when celebrities start promoting ponzi schemes or the called shit coins, but that is not the case here.

6236  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 18, 2020, 09:30:56 PM
If combined with other sources of income you can rely on bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but never solely on them. I say this because we shouldn't put all our hope in a currency, that is just a mean of payment or a store of value to generate passive profit, not a production method.
Only goods and technology production can rebuild a country solid and those should be the main sectors to rely during crisis times, keep currencies secondary.
6237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: July 18, 2020, 09:07:27 PM
What would be the purpose of banning crypto the first time
Their purpose of banning crypto in the first place was because they see crypto as a threat to their national currency and power. However, I'm surprised that the Indian government decided to raise this issue again after they have supported bitcoin because India is also kind of centralized country but crypto related company CEO are already fighting against the new bill.
Surely in next few days some new good news is coming because if authorities going to ban this then its going to hurt in many ways few days back two biggest crypto related exchanges announces they are going to invest millions of USD in India for better security and better environment of crypto trading so government will do some middle way as they don't want to lost this all.
I think they aren't going to ban anything too. Even for government there is much more to lose than to win with a bitcoin ban. But I see there is a lot of politics going on the background of this discussion in India. Some sectors want its ban, while the supreme court doesn't agree on this.
What I see is that even big fishes connected to government may have be into crypto universe, so it creates a division of opinions on this matter, where each one defends their interests, and consequently creating an indecision on what to do towards bitcoin.
6238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: July 18, 2020, 08:19:57 PM
In fact crypto universe is lacking opportunities for who wants to perform tasks, execute micro jobs to earn without investment. Many people talk about affiliate marketing, freelancing, blogging, translation... But it is too hard to make profit from that as there is a lot of competition.
People are looking for jobs or tasks they can do and be hired immediately, being paid right after (in useful currency, of course, not dead coins), after all that is the american way of life which really works and all people around the world would like to have access too on their countries, isn't it?
6239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Altcoins Failed To Win Over Bitcoin on: July 18, 2020, 07:27:01 PM
Well, bitcoin was the first crypto currency to be developed, all the rest was just a copy of bitcoin somehow, furthermore altcoins don't bring any notorious practical benefit if compared to bitcoin.
The one which most approached to bitcoin was ethereum due its platform, smart contracts, but still it wasn't enough to overcome bitcoin, what means if an altcoin wants to do this, it has to bring something more exciting to crypto universe.

But keep in mind it's not impossible for an altcoin to *win over bitcoin*, just because something didn't happen by now it doesn't mean it will never happen, especially on this volatile universe of crypto currencies where changes happen suddenly and without warnings!
6240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin Technology. on: July 18, 2020, 07:01:35 PM
In your own opinion, what will be the impact of this revolution to ;
1.The governments.
2.To business.
3.To Individuals.
4.To World bodies such as IMF, UN, WTO etc

As I see you can put governments and world bodies such the ones mentioned by you together, as they have the same interests, plus they will act on the same direction towards bitcoin, in other worlds: against the called *revolution*, although I don't like this term very much.
On the other side there are some businesses and individuals who are really freely and act independently. Do you really think they can stand against so powerful forces wishes? It looks a lost battle for me... What some people want doesn't matter when you look who is on the opposite side and how powerful they are.
