6221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 04-Aug-2020] on: August 10, 2020, 03:22:54 PM
New campaign 1xbit signature campaign for Sr. Hero and legendary. Its $ based

Rates
Sr. Member = $.5/post
Hero/legendary = $.7/post
Newbie + negative trust... I recommend to add a warning in the table when listing that campaign (if it will be done eventually), just in case..

@Yatsan, I recommand to take a look on your investment in Yolodice. It is all time high after the same guy lost another +~25 BTC there yesterday. I am in 9% ROI right now!
6224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 10, 2020, 11:46:03 AM
In today's matches, I bet on the victories of the teams considered to be the home teams. Inter and Manchester United are, in my opinion, the main favorites of the competition and I would like to see them in the final. However, it does not mean that these teams are facing easy matches today. Especially the team from Copenhagen recently showed themselves from a very strong side, easily knocking the new Turkish champion.
Indeed hard games especially between Inter and Leverkusen. Both teams are good, made some mistakes in their leagues, Inter won two times vs Leverkusen a long time ago and the game will took place in Germany. Still can't get a decision but I think Inter has "slightly" better chance to win.
For Man United, I think it will be more easier game than the other, although Copenhagen is a quite good team. Man United with 2 goals difference tho.

Updated the table again after a huge change in my profit!

Didn't witness what happened but saw it few hours later yesterday.
It is big losses from him, same guy as the previous time, who has the first 5 spots in BTC weekly. +25 BTC this time and 22 BTC last time... I didn't see him yet but this is very hard to digest!
6226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 09, 2020, 07:28:59 PM
I do not understand why Pep never gets any attention, City is banned from champions league for at least 2 more years, he could just rip out his contract and go to Barcelona, whatever the cost is Barcelona could pay him that much anyway, this is the dude that had the sextuple with this team, that is unique and I do not remember any team that did that in recent memory, not saying he will do that once again but if anyone can fix this team and make them good once again, it is definitely Pep.

All of this "I gave my word to City and signed a contract, I will not leave just because they got a penalty" BS is useless, it was City management that did something against the rules and that is why Pep is not guilty if he leaves, on contrary he has that right to leave even more now.
Maybe because he is smart enough to know (or reassured) that the ban will be lifted? and because Barcelona is crap right now with many problems and no cash?
I think he made the best choice and it will be fantastic if he win the CL this season!
6227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: August 09, 2020, 07:24:45 PM
The hacked money relied in known addresses, once a transaction was made from those addresses it should be blocked and the money seized (corporation with law agencies ofc).
Then you have to introduce a trusted third party who will investigate and approve or deny requests for various addresses to be blacklisted, which essentially makes your mixer no better than a centralized exchange.

Now the hackers could send the money to intermediate addresses then to mixers. I am not very familiar with programming but normally it is not hard I suppose to implant a program that check if a hacked BTC address was connected to a new one being used, or maybe an alert system to inform those services that the funds are being moved from a known hacked address.
And in this scenario, you will be punishing users like me who like to trade peer-to-peer. If I buy some bitcoin and am unaware it is related to a hack, as soon as I try to mix it (as I do with most of my bitcoin), it's going to be confiscated from me even although I have done nothing wrong.
Well involving a third party isn't a must, I add some suggestions that doesn't necessarily involve it. They can build their own program, an alert system doesn't have to access data, neither the manual option should be a problem.
For the scenario you mentioned, yes it can cause many problems. What I suggested is for huge and "famous" hack involving mainly exchanges...and another example is what happened to twitter. I don't see how could a normal user addresses be linked to the hackers.
I understand your concern but mixers should protect itself and its legitimate users. I assimilate it to a small exchange service that you can find in the street, taking $ from thieves that just stole the bank and giving them back $ with other serial numbers. That service risks to be seized and followed in justice...Just improve yourself and verify the codes when you hear that the bank near you has been just stolen!
I hope you understand what I mean  Wink
6228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on new ATH on: August 09, 2020, 04:13:29 PM
There is absolutely no correlation with economy and possible fallout!
The crypto covid crash occurred at the same time as the stock crash, both markets move in the same direction.

I believe that we will have new ath but just because of the craziness going on in the stock market.
That parallel movement makes me wonder what the price will be after countries fully recovered from covid-19 impact...but at the same time in the short - middle term most people won't buy or involve in cryptocurrencies since they have difficulty to secure job, foods, rent...except maybe people in counties with a fallen economy where switching to BTC is more secure!
For the ATH I think we may see it at the end of the year if BTC continues its stabilization in +$11k
6229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: August 09, 2020, 04:03:32 PM
But i preferred to see some serious monitoring of the addresses containing the hacked money and freeze them once the money was sent...
As I asked of someone else higher up in this thread, how could this work? As soon as a mixer starts investigating where coins are coming from, where they are going, and keeping logs joining deposits and withdrawals together, then they have defeated their very purpose and no sensible person would touch them.

It would be like trying to making every Tor node monitor all the traffic that passes through them and only allow what is deemed "acceptable". It defeats the very purpose of a privacy enhancing service if a third party can monitor and censor you at any time.
No no, I did not mean to monitor every single transactions made.
The hacked money relied in known addresses, once a transaction was made from those addresses it should be blocked and the money seized (corporation with law agencies ofc).
The worst scenario is to monitor those addresses manually whenever a new block is issued...
6230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 09, 2020, 02:47:50 PM
Nah if City able to beat Lyon, they will meet Barcelona or Muenchen in semifinal.
Only 1 team from Barca, Bayern and City will make it to the final... The job was easier in the other part for one of those teams.
PSG, Atalanta looks better to follow at least rather than ATM vs Leipzig which failed too much in Bundesliga..
Friday match (Barca - Bayern) is the best imo then Atalanta - PSG.
6231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 08, 2020, 09:33:31 PM
haha. A new generation of great coaches from legend midfielders? Pep, Zizou, Simeone, Frankie and now Andrea. I am a fan of Andrea when he was a player and I don't know how good he will be as a coach.
Yea read that news few hours ago and I was like lol, let's see how Pirlo gonna make Juventus great again Cheesy

... But Messi was awesome today....
-snip-
That the resume of the match in fact and hopefully will be too in the next time vs Bayern or else they will be knocked!
For Chelsea 2 defeats with 3 goals difference vs Bayern, that number 3 lol!
6233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: August 08, 2020, 07:16:40 PM
Updated the table for the second time this week since as you noticed there is a big change.

-snip-
Well that is a good strategy. The only problem is a long time crash of a selected coin, which is hard to happens with the major cryptocurrencies!

BTW someone is going crazy on BTC

6234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: August 08, 2020, 05:51:20 PM
Chipmixer is present again, but not the fault of the mixer as it's their service to mix coins regardless of the purpose of the clients.

Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC

I don't know what would be the implication to the mixers since this is a popular incident, and I've heard some mixers before that are popular in the forum that was closed or the owner decide to close. Anyone who knows, is chipmixer safe here, or they should worry on the possible actions of authorities against them?
You are talking about bitmixer, it was a decent one at that time. I don't blame personally any mixers since they are offering what it should be a legal service to their clients. But i preferred to see some serious monitoring of the addresses containing the hacked money and freeze them once the money was sent...
6235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 08, 2020, 11:03:51 AM
Agnelli spoke yesterday and he said, "we will take some days, we will talk if we will continue in this direction" and other stuff.

He said as CR7 will stay, Paratici and Nedved will stay, nothing on Sarri so he is on the list of possible people in the firing list.

He also said he wants younger people in the team.
They better rebuild his ineffective defence strategy and stop receiving goals in every game seriously...

8 hours to go for the games and to know who will pass between Barca and Napoli!
6236  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has hit ATH against Turkish Lira on: August 08, 2020, 10:51:55 AM
Swoosh.

Yes, fiat are made to be flatten and lose their value through inflation. I'm not just aware that Turkey has lost that much although in my country, we're also dealing with this.

We're doing a good thing that instead of saving our cash in the banks, we have it in bitcoin. The more we hold, the better strategy that we're doing to flee from the devaluation and inflation of our money.
Gold before those last ten years, and bitcoin since have been the safest assets to secure your money from devaluation of FIAT which affected many countries outside the biggest economies.
Recently bitcoin increased very well but reaching ATH in several currencies is due mainly to the devaluation of FIAT rather than a big jump of BTC which is sad for those countries.
6237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 08, 2020, 10:35:01 AM
wow after a shitty restart for Schalke 0 and being at the bottom of the table considering only games after restart, they have to face the indestructible Bayern. What a bad luck!

Is it better to play Bayern in first round or later on, maybe even during Oktoberfest ? I would always choose to play them in the beginning of a season, where they are still more vulnerable and have to find their rhythm. You can only "win" at Bayern, because nobody expects you to get any points there. Playing a freshly promoted team is way worse imo (more to lose, unknown team, normally super motivated).
Well it is true, better losing 3 points at the beginning than later and especially vs fresh team. Just thought about the psychological factor of successive defeats for Schalke...

If bankroll that your money will be part of will be 10x bigger than you will reach less random outcome 10 times faster.
Interesting suggestion to divide your money between many bankroll but it will take much more time to monitor, unless it is done every few weeks or months maybe + the site is very trustworthy since it can closes at any moment or turn scam of course.
Anyway, for the moment my investment in YD is red, I may update the table later.

So far so good, 80% of the profit vanished after 10 days lol. I said once that it will take 10-15 days for my profits to turn red again. Red here I come  Tongue

As mindrust correctly noted, mathematics works in your favor, so the longer the distance, the more stable your income will be. Therefore, your pessimism should end soon. You have already invested for a period of more than 2 months, I will be very surprised if you do not have a stable tangible profit on a distance of 3 months.
We all agree about the long term which is technically +1 year. However I am aware of 2 pro gamblers picking everyday up to 1 BTC and sometimes more which made the profits lately negative. Of course losing is a possibility but I doubt they will risk 22 BTC again  Wink
