man dürfte pro adresse nur eine entsprechende hashrate zulassen welche in abhängigkeit von der gesamthashrate des netzwerks reguliert wird. um das 51% attacke problem zu umgehen. oder hab ich da einen denkfehler? EDIT: sozusagen in slots aufteilen. wenn man 100 GH/s als einzelner zur verfügung hat, das netzwerk nur 200GH/s stark ist, darf man zum beispiel max. 80 GH/s mit einer adresse minen. also irgendwie so in die richtung ist aber nicht ganz zu ende gedacht. so macht das ja BTC Guild freiwillig wenn sie an die 40% marke kommen lassen sie keine neuen user zu. sie regulieren das freiwillig, es sollte jedoch in code gegossen sein irgendwie ( BTC Guild's Mitigation Plan). |

Der ASIC wahnsinn trägt vor allem zu einer Konzentration von Hashpower bei. Statt zehntausender einzelner Miner gibt es eben ein paar hundert fetter ASIC Miner. Zur Sicherheit des Netzwerkes trägt das folglich keineswegs bei.
im moment muss die gier der leute genutzt werden um das netzwerk auf die "nächste" stufe zu heben. die ASIC grössen schiessen sich mittelfristig schon nicht das netzwerk weg mit dem sie den grossteil ihrer rückstellungen halten. hat man auch im märz (fork incident) bei BTC Guild gesehen wie schnell sie reagiert haben. längerfristig kann das aber nicht die lösung sein, da stimme ich voll zu. |

Das ist ja genau mein Argument: Die Gier erhöht die Rechenleistung im Netz, mit dem einzigen Zweck, mehr des festen Anteils/Ertrags an "mich" auszuzahlen. Mit der Konsequenz, das "der kleine Mann" nichts mehr reißen kann, weil der Ertrag die Kosten nicht deckt und der Fiat/Coin-Kurs extrem volatil ist.
Solange das minen von BTC billiger ist als das kaufen, bzw. dadurch Gewinn gemacht werden kann steigt die Difficult und stoppt erst wenn der Unterschied minimal ist. Das ist ein ganz einfacher Marktprozess nach dem jeder Markt funktioniert. das minen von BTC war spätestens mit FPGA (aber auch schon wenn man sich extra GPU Hardware dafür angeschafft hat) nie billiger als das kaufen sondern immer eine investion in die zukunft mit dem minimalen ziel, dass sich die investitionskosten amortisieren und man geichzeitig das netzwerk stärkt. die difficulty rennt dem preis im moment "meilenweit" vorraus, jedoch ist das eine voraussetzung damit Bitcoin in den nächsten jahren boomt. das vertrauen in das netzwerk, was de facto bei banking netzwerken besteht, bei Bitcoin jedoch dezentral organisiert ist, quasi selbstregulierend, muss langsam wachsen und diesen prozess werden wir in den nächsten monaten beobachten können. der momentane ASIC wahnsinn trägt entscheidend dazu bei. |

Und zum Solomining scheint mir der blinde Idealismus bisher auch noch nicht zu reichen. Es muss zwingend, dringlich eine dezentrale Poolmininglösung her. So schräg das auch klingt.
sehe ich genauso! ideal wäre im QT Client integriert. der miner connected dahin und muss sich um nichts mehr kümmern. als login gibt er die payout adresse mit. |

@ DAoneNonlyG : na 2 sind wir ja schonmal, bzw. 3 mit meiner frau wc, bierzelttische & bänke,2 grills, kohle und spiritus sind schonmal vor ort ... und eine wunderbar gechillte ecke von braunschweig wo die nächsten 8 wochen eh nicht viel los ist. essen und getränke müssen mitgebracht werden. kühlschrank und ne dusche zum abkühlen sind auch vorhanden und man ist mit einem schritt vom atelier im grünen weidenhof der hochschule. also, raus aus euren löchern, bevor ich's mir wieder anders überlege  allerdings habe ich momentan sehr viel zu tun und eigentlich kommen nur 3 termine in frage. der 11.08. , 18.08. oder der 1.09. . das sind jeweils sonntage und ich würde vorschlagen dass man dann um 15-16uhr die grills anschmeisst. gruss, tea könnte am 11.08. und 1.09 in BS. würde auch gern vor ort was spenden für den aufwand, natürlich in BTC  VG Gyrsur |

wie war das? Difficulty folgt dem Preis? und warum haben wir dann mindestens 20% Difficulty Erhöhung jedes Mal? Na weil sich sonst das minen nicht lohnt UNd warum soll der Preis steigen? Litecoin wird zur Zeit eher gemined als gehandelt - und das würde bedeuten, dass wenn mehr leute minen, vorallem, da es sich ja "lohnt" würde es mehr verkauft werden was eher zu einem Sinkens des Preises beitragen würde.. Ich denke nicht, dass die halbierung der Coins pro Block irgendeinen Einfluss auf den Preis von Bitcoins haben wird - und noch viel weniger auf den von Litecoins.. Das wurde doch auch schon 1000* diskutiert. Ja besteht ein Zusammenhang Zwischen Preis und Difficult und der Einfachheit halber kann man die Reward Halbierung auch als Verdopplung der difficult ansehen. Difficult folgt Preis und nicht umgekehrt. Wenn der Preis steigt steigt auch die Difficult, wenn die Difficult steigt, hat das keinen (zumindest sichtbaren) Effekt auf den Preis. Auch wenn der Wert von LTC rein speculativ ist, denke ich das diese Regel hier auch gilt. Weniger LTC pro miner bedeuten außerdem, das jeder einen größeren % Anteil an den geminten Coins verkaufen muss um keinen Verlusst zu machen, also wenn überhaupt einen Effekt, dann sinkt der Preis dadurch. die Netzwerkpower wird nächstes Jahr so mächtig sein und damit das Vertrauen in Bitcoin auch, dass wir die 500 sehen werden... geb auch ma meinen senf dazu ab, ist die logarithmische scale, deshalb auch die preisangaben rechts logarithmisch, also die man sich oberhalb der 500 vorstellen muss. das könnte bedeuten, dass wir nächstes jahr um die zeit bei 500 sind. ...BFL who ordered their casing before refining their design got lumbered with a crapload of Jalepeno cases that didn't fit. Has Bitfury showed casing? If your not comfortable with what your investing in and the design team behind it, walk away. definitely, they have at least pictures of all components. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=251966.0EDIT: my guess is, they are nearly ready with most of the parts surrounding the chips. they are waiting for ORSoC, so they have time to make trips. after the chips will arrive (maybe end of August) there are two possibilities: everything will work as expected or like BFL it will not. I had seen that, the guts are there, but no casing, which is a nothing for Bitfury investors to worry over, as long as no future casing inhibits airflow, but casing is what the previous poster was concerned about here. Also, you do realise the CEO of ORSoC, the CTO of ORSoC, and a lead ASIC design specialist of ORSoC are on the board of directors of KnC alongside Sam and Andreas, and that KnC share the same building as ORSoC? ORSoC actually accommodate KnC, there's no trips to be made, design is not outsourced, or contracted, it's in-house, around the clock, which is a huge advantage they have over competitors paying consultants that have no equity stake for a few hours here and there... ok, thank you for the information. I remember you visited KnC in the past. And where will the chip manufacturing happen? Also in Sweden or in a other country. |

This means miners of 1 T/Hs or more will be sold for the price of one 500g/h BFL miner

The chips need to be made, before the miner can be made. I cannot read anywhere a first hand statement about a miner product. |

So, if I read this correctly, FastHash plans to be shipping chips in October - not hardware incorporating these chips. Does anyone see a fault with this observation? And if there is no fault, then where would one buy the hardware to utilize the chips?
so much bla bla without any usefull information in this thread! hashfast.com is speaking only about chips as of my information so far: Our first chip, the Golden Nonce (GN) microprocessor, is in the final stages of development. The GN will ‘tape-out’ and be sent to manufacturing in August. Fabrication will take a little bit over two months, and the chips will ship to customers in October.

Das Verfahren wurde eingestellt. BFL hatte sich zwar geweigert ein Rückzahlung zu leisten aber nachdem ich es der Amerikanischen Handelsaufsicht gemeldet habe, hat BFL mir die 15,000 USD zurück erstattet.
ok, gut für Dich. bitte gib nähere Infos damit man weiss wie man vorgehen soll. bitte auch einen "proof", dass es sich wirklich auch so zugetragen hat wie Du es darstellst. nichts gegen Dich persönlich, aber dieser platz hier ist einer der "härteren", und man muss entsprechend auf der Hut sein. vielen dank! |
