6221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not secure ICO websites on: November 22, 2018, 06:53:58 PM
I noticed that some ICO websites are not hosted on a not secured website. Could that be a sign of a scam?

High chances but there are still some instances that they might able to neglect such basic thing for a website to have since we do talk about investments or funding which it do really needs security.
If I do see such stuff then I wont really tend myself to waste up time and money for this project. Security would be always the main priority for the safe of its investors. Not secure ICO website
indicates already something about on the project dev behind.
6222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to buy cryptocurrency for 10.000USD today.... on: November 22, 2018, 06:12:46 PM
Well, obviously Bitcoin(BTC). I don't even know what IOTA is being used for; I'm pretty sure IOTA is still purely speculation.

Iota is using a new technique. It is called DAG, so u dont even need to save the whole Blockchain.
Also Iota has 0 transaction fees so it is no need to have miners, it is more ecological.
I don't know if you are looking for a debate or is just looking for an opinion to which coin is better for you but it seems like you made your choice already with what you have written. If you personally think that IOTA will outgrow Bitcoin in terms of price increase then you should go for it, mjglqw just expressed on what he will choose on both of them.

Alright. I'm just going to clarify more. I'm really not throwing shade at IOTA at all. I chose Bitcoin simply because I personally think that Bitcoin has a higher chance of gaining success in the long term due to Bitcoin still being the better coin in the "currency" category. Whereas with IOTA, IOTA has a decent number of close competitors in the space. IOTA could possibly be more profitable in the long run, but I'm playing it safe and sticking with BTC.
Same goes with mjglqw on here. We do know the profitability chances on IOTA but when it comes on being somehow secured for long term then there no doubt. BTC all the way there not questions asked
specially now the price had fallen low which actually the best time to accumulate cheap bitcoins. If OP loves IOTA then no one can force him out on which one he would tend to invest yet we do have
difference choices.
6223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain or Cryptpcurrency? on: November 17, 2018, 05:38:00 PM
Hey guys, there are two different difenitions: Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. A lot of experts say that crypto is going to die soon but blockchain itself is a very useful technology. What do you think are they right? Do you think blockchain can exist without cryptocurrency?
Whose that expert you are talking into? I would say that those dudes are totally newbie when it comes to crypto yet blockchain and crypto itself is always been tied up.
Come to think that each coin do have corresponding blockchain being used depending on which platform and we can see several of it. So theres no need to choose up.
6224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tension about Ethereum on: November 17, 2018, 03:40:50 PM
Ethereum now down position number three coin of coinmarketcap. XRP now top two number currency. So what is your thinking about Ethereum trading? Now I am hopeless. Maximum time I trade by Etheum. So Now I am disappointed for downfall of ethereum

You would really be just upset if you have bought on the peak and tension on trading is inevitable rather than tensioning yourself it would be much better
to take this situation as an opportunity to buy cheap. No matter on what would be the position of ETH in the market top 3 isn't still bad and I would see that it can
able to reclaim its spot once again and also come to think off that unexpected things do happen with this market.
6225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why a lot of bounty hunters dislike KYC ? on: November 17, 2018, 01:48:37 PM
A lot of bounty hunters ask the bounty manager and the team of the project if kyc needed or not.
Why they ask about that?
Do you think it is good for projects and for bounty hunters to implement KYC.
What is the advantage of KYC for both.
I like to know from all and thank you in advance.
Because even most of them have filled KYC requirements and they can get nothing as per the result of their works.  In fact that KYC needs a lot of requirements and sometimes there was a chance to the project that they have already participated to become a scam project and this will put their data on the risk.
Yeah, it's like trading your personal information for their token but it turns out that you are the one who's been fooled by them. Most bounties these days requires KYC but sad to say most of the bounty hunters avoid that kind of ICO specially if they don't see such good result on their research of that project.
At any angle bounty hunters would really end up having no choice or the ones would really be on risk no matter which option they would take. Good
project selection on initial phase wont guarantee of success. You might succeed to earn tokens without KYC but you can possibly earn trash tokens. For now
KYC requirement do signify legitimacy but not all because there are lots of scams do exist.
6226  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are selling the wrong coins, because they are confused. lol on: November 17, 2018, 11:09:51 AM
This drop in the price are based on confusion between Bitcoin <BTC> and Bitcoin Cash.  Grin Grin Grin

The average Crypto currency speculator does not understand the technical difference  between Bitcoin <BTC> and Bitcoin Cash. They read in mainstream media about a Bitcoin war and they think it is happening in Bitcoin <BTC>

The Bitcoin Cash fork has absolutely nothing to do with Bitcoin <BTC>, but these stupid speculators does not understand that, so they run for the hills at the slightest indication of possible instability.

The fork and the war is applicable to Bitcoin Cash not Bitcoin BTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the difference among people who do have knowledge on crypto or to those people who just jumped in into this market for the sole purpose on money-making
without even knowing the basics among coins or projects. Once they hear out a certain news they do believe directly without tending to make any research.
Sooner or later they would realize on the mistake they have done and would learn from it.
6227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the amount of Trading Pairs on an Exchange matters? on: November 17, 2018, 10:19:26 AM
These are the top 3 exchanges by trading pairs

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@roark101/top-3-exchanges-by-trading-pairs

Are the number of trading pairs available something that you look at when signing up to an exchange?

Number of trading pairs aren't a strong preference for you to rely on when making decision on finding an exchange. It would be much
more worth a choice on an exchange do have fewer but listing out the most potential ones in the market rather than seeing an exchange
that do have hundreds but most of them are shitcoins. Popularity+reliability+security+volume is the factors I'm finding for.
6228  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF chief is in support of crypto. Keep holding on: November 16, 2018, 06:49:44 PM
Acknowledging the benefits of crypto is a far cry from real progress, most people are now aware of the benefits of crypto. The problem is that many still want to see crypto fail because it's within their interests. Large banker sorts don't want people to have a faster and cheaper alternative because it takes money out of their own pockets.
You do really have the point and it is indeed part of the reality where these banksters or merchants would definitely love to see for crypto to fail
specially bitcoin because they able to saw that its mainly affecting on what they do have built. These common positive views from so-called popular persons
aren't really affecting too much yet most of us normal or typical crypto supporters would definitely have the same view after all.
6229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CASH STILL DROPPING AHEAD OF HARD FORK on: November 14, 2018, 09:03:51 PM
I'm not interested in following the news from any hardfork, it's like drama. for me it's enough, BTG is an unforgettable part.
For me avoiding Hardfork is the best choice to keep losing more. Grin
Yeah, its too risky to buy more coins on this kind of situation because usually the price will pump and when everybody gets in, the price will dump suddenly and that is what happening now. The BCHSV is actually doing good right now but how long it will take? Late comers on this coin might be on a higher risk. I just remember the time BCH appear in this market, there is so much hype and now the price is not good. Be careful on investing your money, just a little piece of advise.

Will try to study more about this new fork and know their real purpose on this market. Hopefully, they are here for a good business, will try to find out. Cheesy
and now it is happening, the hardfork bch has caused the BTC price to fall and the altcoin is following it.
I've said this is drama, people are getting greedy. very terrible. Angry
Drama is inevitable and actually I didn't really got surprised on whats happening as of now. Having issues with BCH hardfork together with
the current Craig wrights tweet which can eventually make such impact. About BCH price dropping, this is usual stuff because if theres an upcoming news.
Most of the time traders will definitely sell off rather than on accumulating.
6230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Need To Put Your Emotion in Trading ? on: November 14, 2018, 07:32:41 PM
When prices and assets go down, then emotions arise by themselves, and I made a sale and then bought it again below the price I sold before and automatically gets more coins than before. Then the coin price drops again, panic makes me stressed and emotional, finally I sold my assets at a cheap price again. That is why the feeling of emotion must be abandoned,  because we will suffer losses. This includes my worst experience.
Emotions is a great factor that contribute to stress on every person. If a person's emotion is strong enough to affect him, theres a greater chance of panicking because the person may think negatively and may make an unwise decision without even thinking of its effect. He might lose some of what he has because of it.
Its indeed a big factor that can affect anyone's decision not only on trading or investing but on all sorts of things in life. Each decisions can really
be affected if emotions would set in. Nether you are on a decision making situations if your mind cant able to handle it out.
6231  Economy / Speculation / Re: CSW's "hash wars" impact on BTC price? on: November 14, 2018, 04:11:05 PM
Craig Wright is back with his Bitcoin SV fork, and is showing strenght thus far with the amount of hashrate that is going to support the Bitcoin SV fork.

Apparently Roger Ver and Jihan Wu aren't supporting it, hence why the "hash wars" terms. With Jihan's empire against Craig Wright's 70% current hashrate it's going to be interesting.

The reason I ask about BTC price is because if Jihan wants to ensure CSW doesn't win, he may be forced to allocate BTC hashrate into this developing clusterfuck in BCash.

Will this be a non event or speculators will try to get some BTC out of it from noobs that fall into it?

Damn, bitcoin cash doesn't look like a functioning coin to me.It looks like a private company,in which 2-3 shareholders are fighting against each other for a bigger piece of the pie,and it's all about money. Grin
I feel sorry about all the bitcoin cash supporters outthere. They were manipulated to think that BCH is the real bitcoin. How sad.
Anyway, there won't be any impact over the Bitcoin Core price.
I do actually have the same views too when it regards to this BCH fork drama as of now it do really acts like a private company.I don't really care on what those people are trying to prove out.
Momentarily it did able to affect bitcoins price as of this moment if we try to check it out but It wont really be permanent at all.
6232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you guess a bull run in this year? on: November 13, 2018, 08:10:55 PM
As far as I know bull run will happen this year. But until now price of the bitcoin and altcoins are very low price.
Most of the people who bought bitcoin and altcoin when the price is very high are waiting for the bull run because we want to get back their capital. But for sure bull run will not happen if they have many seller.
When the market is filled with lots of sellers, there will be a lot of negative information coming and otherwise if the market is filled with buyers, there will be a lot of good information coming. However, untill now I haven't seen any speculation about good information coming, so if this doesn't happen then the bull run won't occur this year. Bull run will have a process, there won't be a significant price increase and maybe to reach prices like ATH last year will take a little longer.
Not all the times we would really be heading on the same situation just like on last year or any other previous years. We might see some similarities but coming into future
it wont really give a guaranteed thing to repeat itself.Just like on what we are experiencing as of now.we are almost ending up this current year but we haven't see any news
about possible bull run coming which means we can presume already.
6233  Economy / Speculation / Re: How news influence the market. on: November 13, 2018, 07:40:57 PM
Friends, how do you find out fake news? Do you think he impact of this news  hinders the development of the market greatly, or the rates fluctuate only on major hype and fakes do not prevent the market from going forward?

I believed that news has a big impact to those people who are news believers. But to tell you frankly most news are fake, just to get the attention of others to buy this one or not to buy this one they have influenced to do that. And this is the cycle of this business actually.
But when it comes to trading in the market, news has nothing to do with it, that's the reality things happen at the present time now.
Most of them are really fake but with this kind of market it do easily reacts either it would pump or just dump on its price. This is the biggest thing
on where manipulators can make use of when they plan to get in they make fuds. This is indeed the reality which not only on crypto market do happens but also
this thing is happening ever since on traditional markets.
6234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Woman Arrested for $450,000 Crypto Heist on: November 13, 2018, 07:03:55 PM
Jezz, what's with these people stealing cryptocurrency from the other? People should do keep safe their belonging specially the cryptocurrency because it's so special and it's just like your own money or a credit card. We should keep our own private keys and passwords to a secure places and also the news is a bit blurry, i think they missed something in that news.
Not even our own money or credit card would really be safe or neither both ways when the time comes that a certain man would really be boastful to his possession.
This is why there are really instances of getting robbed because of such behavior. Even how much money we do have we do still need to be on low key not to make our money
safe but also to protect ourself from any possible harm.
6235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most profitable bounty tasks on: November 12, 2018, 07:25:09 PM
Hey guys, when you are doing a bounty program, which tasks do you usually do? Facebook and Twitter? My favourite task is a Youtube video review. However I think Bitcointalk signature is the most profitable. Do you agree with me?
Content creation/Moderation, Translation are the common task that do get out big portion of the overall total bounty allocation. Also on signature too but knowing participants on content creations or trans is lesser to signature which means it would really be divided only on small participants on all the stakes which in result getting bigger slice of cake than into other participants.Thats why sometimes its good to study up these skills to take advantage.
6236  Economy / Marketplace / Re: If Newbie Offers Investment on: November 12, 2018, 06:44:32 PM
In my opinion a lot of Newbie users are more trustworthy than older accounts. If the newbie can convince me, in a transparent manner that his or her project is worth investing in, I will. I wouldn't blindly invest into any project because of the accounts involved. The project has to be interesting, viable, profitable and above all, whomever is behind it must not be anonymous.
Same goes for me which account ranking doesn't really matter at all as long the proposal would really be completely transparent and it do convinces me.
Most people do really see most of the time that newbie ranking isn't trustable or less experienced but we wont know that those are just being created for the sole purpose.
Ranking on this forum doesn't mean completely newbie on outside world.
6237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto gains without trading on exchanges on: November 12, 2018, 06:15:37 PM
If you are saying about making the cryptos to grow then mining and the lending are the best because where we are generating new cryptos so if we continue to do we can increase our cryptos portfolio but exchanging means sometimes we will loss and sometimes we will be getting profits so there is no assurance that we will made more cryptos at the end of the day.
For mining then its right but for lending you do still have the big risk or tendency to lose up money too when the borrower didn't tend to pay you up on the due date but well no matter which way we do go, investment do really have always corresponding risk for you to lose up money. Talking on gaining crypto without the need of trading then mining would be the nearest possible option for you to take.
6238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Woman Arrested for $450,000 Crypto Heist on: November 10, 2018, 04:50:18 PM
Theft in crypto isn't limited to any gender it's become obvious.
There are a lot of tech savvy females out there. The market might be dominated by men, but this is gradually changing. Back to the story, there are more funds stolen in FIAT daily that dwarfs losses in crypto. Crypto is generally safer.
Comparing out stolen FIAT and Crypto we would really able to see the difference but we know that crypto isn't really fully adopted
that's why its understandable on having that way. Generally, users do really have the full responsibility on take care of our
assets by means of security we should take it seriously on all precautionary measures. One single mistake can really mess up all the situation.
6239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: November 10, 2018, 01:46:51 PM
Doing bounty is like wasting half of your time , we'll get lucky if we're paid on time. The ugly truth is some manager and team project treat bounty hunters like beggars, I really had a bad experience with moonlite bounty. They made bounty hunters look stupid and made all the excuses not pay. After collecting millions owner refused to pay.
I did feel the same thing where it do comes to a point that most of us bounty hunters will just keep on asking on when we would got be paid on all the works that we had done for them. After accumulating funds
they make delays on the distribution which supposedly those tokens are really meant for us hunters. They do really treat us on that way.
6240  Economy / Services / Re: Buy Email Database of crypto community members on: November 10, 2018, 01:08:14 PM
I have a database of over 10k persons who have good knowledge of crypto and also invested in icos, initial pricing is $100 but am selling at $20 to first 10 buyers
Escrow is allowed
- Where did you get that database from?
- I can generate random 10k emails and say they're top investors in all the ICO projects. Would you buy it?
- Are you authorised to sell these emails? No. That's a breach of their policy.
- Your email list is a pathetic scam to make some quick monies.
Don't expect for him to answer out your questions on where he do get those emails and as you said we can still possibly make on our own and sell it off.
I don't know why these kind of goods is being sold out since we do know that most of them are leaked out.If not then those are just random ones
pretending to be investors but they aren't on the first place.
