6221  Economy / Economics / Re: Public Benefit Corporations on: February 20, 2019, 04:06:47 AM
I think it has been still about profit with the shareholders. The traditional corporations were built to have maximized profits and also dependent on what the government stated/signed in that public benefit. It has always been to seek profits whether it's private or public entities.

I think they are essential to the economy on the fact that it serves the public and benefitted by the public. Additional work can also be generated, employing those who don't have a job.
6222  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcoin ATM Machine dito sa Pilipinas existing 3 years ago na pala? on: February 20, 2019, 03:40:22 AM
Narinig ko na nga yan na meron Bitcoin ATM, and I guess, yan pa din lang?

Anyways, I saw a supplier of ATM Machines in Laguna that I think supports Bitcoin or something. I know there's a company there that has it displayed on its tarpaulin and advertisements. Not sure kung mag kano lang yun or kung pwede ba ikaw ang bumili or something.
6223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Meet Than and Then on: February 20, 2019, 02:34:06 AM
The English language is a mystery yet to be solved. Lol

I didn’t realize there was so much confusion over these two words.

There can be a lot of confusion around the English language like misplaced apostrophes, your/you're, its/it's, could/would/should of, there/their/they’re, fewer/less, to/two/too, who/whom, etc. There are tons of it, you just have to be proficient enough to really apply them.

I guess knowing that you have made a mistake is a start of improvement and correcting them means you have learned.

6224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 19, 2019, 11:42:46 PM
Valentines love in Crypto huh?

It's just that Cryptocurrency has enabled me to become more open-minded to the financial world. I know I could support it knowing the facts that are with it, especially in BTCT. We all know it is worth supporting, why not loving it also? I guess it could count as love too.
6225  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Other sections for this forum? on: February 19, 2019, 10:59:35 PM
+1 Off-topic and Marketplace. Wink
Our local board is like off-topic right now. Creating such board Off-topic (Pilipinas) will just create more spam posts, it won’t help anything aside from members spamming everything they want to post in that board.
Surely it will be spammed by a lot of Filipinos but I think we can just report those spam posts easily and the moderators could easily delete them. There could be a lot of meaningful discussion towards other topics but there are a lot of topics currently in the Philippines that can be talked about that is not related to Bitcoin.

Marketplace (Pilipinas) will be helpful, a place we can trade anything, e.g.; I would like to buy some bitcoin using my PHP, let’s say deposit to your bank account (some banks do not have fees on deposits) or anything the seller wants using our fiat, by doing these transactions, we can avoid any transaction fees from any bitcoin service provider here in the Philippines. Also, on that board people can create some lending services that will help those who are in need of assistance with regards to finances, of course people who has the capacity to repay (marunong magbayad, hindi yung merong amnesia pagsisingilin na, at sila pa galit).
Supporting that kind of service would be nice. Person to person has always been the goal of bitcoin right? I think trust would be the basis with that because how can you say that someone has the capacity?
6226  Other / Off-topic / Re: get money from fun things on: February 19, 2019, 01:49:22 PM
So what's the point of your thread, really?

What I get from this is that if you do fun things, you won't be paid an enormous amount? I know that you need to do hard work to bear fruit. There are a lot of successful YouTubers, Gamers, etc., that are paid a lot of money and has sponsorships.
6227  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be Aware of those Dodgy Exchanges Support telegram account. on: February 19, 2019, 09:36:38 AM
This is good to know, especially that I’m active in Telegram as well.

Anyways, it’s not just in Telegram but everywhere. You could see it in different platforms where you could PM someone easily. In social media, Twitter for example. There are a lot of bots that PM’s you and somehow lures you into something that would benefit them. The most recent encounter to something close to that is in Discord. They could PM you as long as you have a common server there.

Remember to be always be vigilant.
6228  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pano mag simula sa crypto? on: February 19, 2019, 09:18:44 AM
I hope you find the time na maging active dito sa Bitcointalk at mag stay ka dito. Madaming possible opportunities ahead but for sure you need to work hard on it and it wouldn’t be that easy. Especially now na kailangan ng merit para mag rank up, etc. Paunahan lang din talaga.

Anyways, if you find the time at the Beginners Section here at the forum, complete naman yun. You just need to read and explore and possibly post more.
6229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's angel in disguise on: February 19, 2019, 03:52:02 AM
I somewhat understand what you mean. Imagine if you have an ordinary person who suddenly rose to fame because of something he/she did, like a viral video. We all know a video or two that concerns that.. Anyways, then people start to talk about him/her, and we all know that it is inevitable that there won't be any bad mouthing. I think that's one of the reasons why people are talking about it. They like gossip, talking about negative things, and it spreads. I think this is another way to think about it.
Agreed, this is the way through which we see more users getting into the cryptocurrency. Till date very few success stories can be seen without any kind of promotion. One amongst is our bitcoin, which has spread big through word of mouth. As it is high risk asset, even if we promote through different sources we'll have the same number of users at present.
I don't think there are a few success stories, there are a lot but the negative overcomes it. We cannot be sure to what extent it could extend, whether it would interest people or make easy judgments without knowing the prior stuff that is needed. It may have been spread easily due to its enormous amount price volatility which in a way makes risky people enter it.

6231  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 19, 2019, 02:57:37 AM
We rise, we fall. That's just how the world works and if you cannot contain the hardships and you might as well find someone to help you. We all have weaknesses, and it won't be shameful to ask for one. We all need the strength to continue and remember all the mistakes that you did.

Btw, $2000 is not small for me. It's a significant amount that I would be willing to work for. I try every kind of trading, and I managed to stick to one and thankfully there's Gunbot to automate it.

6233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: February 19, 2019, 01:36:13 AM
I was one of what called "gambling addict" and I am happy I have done things to prevent it and stop being an addict in gambling.
I still remember the days where gambling was my life. If my friends invite me to play gamble, there was an urge and excitement I possess and I can't even decline a single invitation for playing.
What are the preventions that helped you stop your habits? I think that's a great way to practice self-management and improvement. I'm just amazed that you managed to prevent yourself from being addicted to a controlled person.

If I lose, I always do my best to find a way to have more funds and play again because I couldn't accept that I lost and I need to get my money back. In the end, as expected I will lose the game and the flow will repeat.
I think that's the most common habit of people with addiction. They are finding ways to feed their needs and neglect all the responsibilities that you have.

Play - Lose - Find a way to have money - Play - Lose - Disappointed.
The moment I realized ain't doing it right, I did my best to forget gambling and started to think about my future and plan things to work out.
Basically, the addiction cycle I guess.
6234  Local / Pamilihan / Re: House and lot for sale using crypto's in the philippines on: February 19, 2019, 12:54:02 AM
...unless if you are a big politician who has hidden your asset in crypto. Just like Pacman, do you think he has a lot of Bitcoin now?

Also take note, that politicians aren't well convinced with digital money, and yes, even Pacquiao, I also doubt he holds more than 10BTC, it's true that there are  news that he made an investments but where? He's not an active trader and that is a fact, he's not even active on congress and how can we believe that he's active and still using crypto? He isn't a miner also, I'm just thinking that he just converted some of his money into BTCs just to show to the public that he is fond of using crypto.

Maybe they just don't like the idea of not being sure in what they are investing? The advisor of Pacman might have an idea so that he could invest this X amount of money then just see what would happen. I think it's not Pacquiao but another person who manages his funds or something. He will be just enjoying life, he deserves it too.
6235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: February 18, 2019, 03:18:00 PM
You should stop when you can reach 0.05btc and decide not to continue playing gambling. But you hear the sound that keeps telling you to play again and again, and then you continue. That is a good lesson for you, make it your last lesson in gambling and when you are lost in any amount, you should take a break first before you continue. Take a deep breath and make a decision and it's better to quit gambling for that day, and you can try in the next day.
I do regret not stopping and realizing that I had already made money. It's just human nature. It is a good lesson but I know I have experienced it as well. It's not the first time I experienced it. That's why I'm not feeling right about myself.

Don't let the gambling control over you !

Sometimes I kindda confuse why people can't control or even got addicted while they are already realize that they are making wrong decision to keep gambling. It's not a drug , Remember this !
Whether it's a drug or any other similar types that can be addictive, it can still be harmful to you. You wouldn't understand because you haven't felt it. It's not as easy as far as I can observe.
6236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: February 18, 2019, 11:21:14 AM
Control your greed bro, Thank God you did went bankrupt after gone nearly very low.
Whike gambling we need to have control on the money and also in our mind that when we have to get out, don't ask your brain because it keeps wanting again and again.
I know, and I know that I have failed to control myself and I regret that a lot. You know the feeling where you should've been. I was supposed to eat, but I still wanted to continue just because I want to profit. Maybe take it from the heart?

Apart from enslavement, gambling do likewise pick up terrible notoriety from general society since they figure betting can just prompt loosing which is a bit reality yet in the event that you can control yourself.

At that point there is no issue with it. conceivable arrangements with it is limit the season of playing and make yourself occupied on some different tasks. however, for me I think betting cant get me dependent since I once in a while have money to bet. a great many people do likewise like me, so how might they say that betting is addictive where it is costly.
How about gamblers who only gamble from time to time like me? I think it would be harder to control that game, but I can regulate myself gambling by itself. What I mean is that I can not go to a gambling site for months, but once I go again, I might not help myself.

I can't wait to see this in action. It lets me want to create a design too, but for me, it would be playing cards. Lol.
6238  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 18, 2019, 09:55:35 AM
Upon checking the coins.ph app, it looks like the eGiveCash is okay? Has anyone try it again? Maybe they have resolved some issues concerning it. Ang haba ng parang description or notice in the app itself. It's nice though. At least kahit papano, nakabalik na yung service na gusto ng iba. I haven't tried it yet, btw.
6239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🎥 [VIDEO LIST] debates about Bitcoin & Cryptocurrencies on: February 18, 2019, 09:44:19 AM
I have always been interested in your avatar, and it's just now that I managed to visit it. It's a helpful website, compiling everything that is related to cryptocurrencies. Very nice. I think every time a newbie starts asking what to do with something, like simple questions, I might refer them to your site. Lol.

Anyways, those debates would be interesting to watch. I'm watching this thread for future updates also.
6240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 18, 2019, 07:25:16 AM
Wow, that's tough. I think it's somewhat recent also, basing on your post.

I have a similar situation that I have tried to chase some losses, and I did manage to get it, but I wasn't satisfied. I was greedy, and that's the moment I knew, I effed up. It's not a great feeling and would never be enough to return to the original state. As you said, I think a lot of people are suffering like this. Maybe it's in human nature, and we cannot escape it. All we have to do now is to save money instead of gambling or invest in the correct things, and not entertainment.
