The magic cards exchange is starting to look like paypal, except that paypal may be liable when they lose my money or let my document copies get stolen by hackers...

And can anyone make any sense of this stuff? My skills are decidedly not 1337. I know there are some bored internet sleuths out there, wanting to tout their credentials.

I wasn't saying that people wouldn't trust him if he admited to be a dealer, heck, i trust some dealers, but don't you think that if the LEA's asked one of the administrators here for all the info they had on this guy they wouldn't give it? And besides he wants to trade, so after doing 1 trade they woud find him, and prosecute him, even having a list of all the dope he sold and to whom... tell me about evidence gathering... they wouldn't even need a warrant or to put him under surveilance to throw him in jail!
6227  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who owns bitcoinforum.com and bitcoinforum.net? on: September 23, 2011, 05:46:34 PM

6229  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who owns bitcoinforum.com and bitcoinforum.net? on: September 23, 2011, 05:30:30 PM
no, just have the internet at my fingertips lol.
Any person can go to whois.net and find out who owns a domain.

bitcoinforum.com Private Registrant         bitcoinforum.com@proxy.dreamhost.com

Doesn't really give much information, does it?

It gives all the information he needs, an email address. Any private whois service auto forwards the emails they get to the domain owner, so that's a non-issue.

Maybe you can post your silk road user id to prove your trustworthiness Smiley

I sure hope you are joking... If not, than that's the most stupid thing he could do... FFS, admit in a public board that he sells drugs...

2) 3 words-- wordpress, wordpress, wordpress! Whether a trading site that seems to be confused about its identity that produces 1:28 minute mindnumbingly childish slideshows, or a "bank" run by an egomaniac, wordpress is an important part of any Bitcoin business idea as it truly shows your level of talent and professionalism-- none whatsoever!

3 words: http://bittalk.tv http://bittalk.tv http://bittalk.tv

You run out of halfassed custom blogging scripts so you went on using wordpress with a free stock theme?

Stop being a self-important prick.
6235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Largest Bitcoin Scam of Them All? on: September 21, 2011, 11:53:21 AM
Buttcoin1, just by looking at your website I came to the conclusion that you are a scammer, a pedophile and a motherfucker.

Prove me otherwise!
6236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tom Williams ~ The Smoking Gun(s) or Phin's Pholly on: September 20, 2011, 08:39:17 PM
If I had any money on MBC i would put the mounties on nanaimogold tail for the MBC fraud.

I guess he's saying that he has the database for all MBC users, so, he's 1 of 2:
The MBC operator aka Tom Williams
OR
The hacker who stole the money.

OR he could be Shane Smith, father of Dalin Owens, who owns mybitcoin.com, link2voip.com, and bitcoin4cash.com according to...

Well, there you go. Case closed. lol
6237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google wallet.. good for bitcoin? on: September 20, 2011, 10:57:45 AM
You do realize that Google Wallet is a huge data mining operation, don't you?
That completely defeats the purpose of Bitcoin.

It's TLS 1.0 that's broken, not SSL 1.0 ...
6239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need cash for my bitcoin on: September 19, 2011, 04:36:38 PM
In the past I found the best way to do totally cash transactions with a reputable member was to go through MadHatter's two web sites:  https://www.bitcoin4cash.com and https://www.bitcoin2cc.com

For what you want to do you would use https://www.bitcoin2cc.com to move your bitcoins on to credit cards which you could then spend anywhere.

However, when I go to these web sites they look shut down.

Does anyone know what is happening with these sites?

You can also try to contact MadHatter directly at themadhatter@i2pmail.org and ask him if he wants your bitcoins and what he will pay you for them.  I just sent him an email to ask him if he is still in business and will report back here.  You might search all the forums for his handle "madhatter2" and see what he is up to.

That would be smart, to contact the MyBitcoin scammer to see if he wants to buy Bitcoin... FFS... Why don't you ask Bruce Wagner too?  Roll Eyes
