I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.
What are your experience: positive or negative.
Fortunately, all my coin on my portfolio are still safe and intact, there was pressure to sell but I prefer to sell some my gadget than to sell some of my coins, I think many share your experiences because we have seen the market is dipping as the holiday season is fast approaching and there's none to blame as long as you did not sell them at a loss. |

Hello everyone, I've been observing BitcoinTalk since 2014 but never posted before, probably because at the time I still was in the learning process I guess. In the meantime me and a couple of friends coded from scratch the "WZ Platform" (I don't yet wanna disclose the full name) which is basically a huge collection of services created by us such as faucet, casino games, lottery, advertising network, mixer, currency exchanger and much more. This platform will accept several currencies starting from the most popular ones: Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin that will also be available on the faucet. (probably the first ones to do that?) Since our budget may not cover casino's potential big losses we decided to introduce bankroll investments for those interested in investing in our casino throughout a smart algorithm that calculates how much money is required to keep us going so it distributes the dividends accordingly until the user receives back the original invested amount + X net profit. Do you think it may work/succeed? What's your thoughts? I'm leaving here some screenshots taken from current alpha version: We have to see it first before we can tell that it is going to succeed, we need many Cryptocurrency related projects and websites no wand if yours will serve a sector of our community, then it will be welcome, we only shunned projects, whose intention is to only scam investors and just want to set up a fly by night project. |

This is just if, new projects are finding it hard to list on top exchanges because of listing funds but since market is not in a good season why is top exchange listing fee still that high? Top exchanges are not making it easy for new projects to list on their exchanges or am i missing some good information?
And about binance IEO is there anyone on here who can tell me more about them? i mean if a project like eminer can conduct IEO on binance why can't others? is there some kind of agreement like taking IEO fundraising fee after IEO is successful?
Damn i wish new projects can just have their chances as well, now that bitcoin is losing its value things are getting more harder for new projects
If exchange listing has become that easy and that cheap, we will have tons of new projects launching because they can get listed in a big exchange right away, listing in big exchanges is like advertising, coins will have a good exposure to traders and investors, and of course, they have a very strict screening, this is the reason why only good coin can enter big exchange. |

Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every proje ts before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible

ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results
With the way things are going, people are giving up on Bounty hunting, it's now like gambling you never know if the coin you are promoting will have value at all not, reaching a soft cap is almost impossible, getting it listed in a top exchange is really tough and making investors buy the coin is a very tough task, so you see, every project will go to three very hard phases now that makes you think if it is really worth it.. |

Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.
1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them
2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too
3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.
You should replace the word newbies to all or everybody, as even experts and old-timers of this forum can fall victim from these scammers, we all know these scammers are getting better now, and they can make a project looks good in paper, it's everybody's battle to fight these scammers not only for newbies but for old members as well. |

I do able to read up that Yobit timezone is +3 GMT so if we do base up on forums time then that would be 6PM estimated.
Some says that the post count will depend or vary on when the time you've joined the campaign.I dont know if its true.
Try to observe yet it do update every 3-4 hours as per say.
It was really difficult if it depended on the time that I participated in the campaign, I could not remember  I work according to the forum's time zone, so I don't need to customize it to my time zone. The problem is the bot's time zone. It is completely different from the forum's time zone. I will continue to look at today. Bot is counting posts very strange. I'm not sure, but sometimes it looks like he is changing hours of the day and everyday it is different. I found the way to be 99% sure that posts are counted for specified day. I just make gap between 5pm and 9pm forum time (UTC, GMT) It means till 5pm posts are counted for same day, after 9pm posts are counted for next day. Posts written between 5pm and 9pm - lottery. This gap can be also just 2 hours, between 6pm and 8pm (forum time), but then i will not be 99% sure.. I also experienced that also but I am lucky to always catch the right time to post, if you think the bot changes the cache time, then make a post after the forum time was reset and wait for the bot to cache your one post if it caches it then, you are on track of the bot time's zone, complete your remaining 4 posts, but this is not a guaranty, we have a confirmation that the bot really changes it's cache time |

Let's see first if we can break the $9k barrier prior to the end of the year. The thing is that we have seen many times in the past that we thought we're already in the bullish/bearish pattern, however, the market moves in the opposite direction. Which only means that the market price is really hard to predict, no matter what this so called experts are telling us.
not possible to have $9k price by year end. unless we all sell that high. it may even go below $6800 tomorrow because it seem to break the support. if $6500 will also be breaks then expect the $3k. jesus, no christmas this year. the popular analyst is right this bearish pattern will once again try to break the $3k support. lucky are the ones who figured to exit at $9,000. I also do not believe that it can reach $9000 at this point of time we are barely 15 days before the end of the year and I don't see big news that will have an impact on the price to go up to that level, but we have seen how the price moves with just one whale or group of whales, but it's a good way to end the year if we can reach $9000 before the year ends. |

Then go the easy and safe way by buying it in aa reputable exchange like Coinbase, don't go for new exchange, it's very risky I have seen one guy got scammed for trading in a new exchange, and do not consider the price, some new exchanges are manipulating the price so they can sell cheap and attract investors, only trust good exchange even if they ask you to do KYC, because they are under government supervision. |
