what is the commission on the bet?  I could not find information about this.
All information is on the official website.  You need to carefully read what is written and not ask stupid questions

Its obvious that this project hired a bumping service to create a fake buzz in anticipation of its ICO date. However, what they may not be aware of is that their thread is no longer being bumped when newbie accounts comment in it.

Whatever service you hired that promised you more exposure tricked you. I'm willing to bet it was Vitor Services. You should probably ask for your money back.
6243  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: October 09, 2019, 07:52:18 AM
Looks like someone's on their way to having the most inactive flags against their account  Grin
I now wonder who does have the most inactive flags to be honest, no doubt some good scambuster.

I think it's me now, because another bankera paid shill and a scammer moris2025 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2305878 opened a new flag in my profile yesterday.

False flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=799

This is becoming really annoying. If scammers will continue this way, I will go to guinness book as a world record holder of false flags.

You can add another one to your tally:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=831

And JollyGood one to his:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=832

Those Bankera guys are still pretty cheesed off at you! They came in with guns blazing, fired up about 25 different accounts, and are still created more even after their thread has been locked.

Also while I'm here, here's 3 more stupid retaliatory flags that should also be opposed:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=828
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=829
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=830

They are in retaliation for this flag, which should be supported:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=827
6244  Economy / Reputation / Re: Mentally sick scammer tagging DT members and opened wrong flag against me on: October 09, 2019, 07:48:07 AM
He also opened these retaliatory flags:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=828
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=830

I opposed all 3.
6245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: October 09, 2019, 05:30:43 AM
I'm really liking the Giants to cover the spread against the Patriots on Thursday night so I have taking that and I have also put on a small parlay for Sundays games.

I think that's a good bet... No reason for the Pats to try to run up the score, and I think the Giants will put up more of a fight than the Skins could. I predict the Pats win by 14. Right now the spread is 16.5 -- you should be safe.

I have Daniel Jones, the Giants' new QB as my backup, but there's zero chance I'm playing him this week. Gonna wait until Carson Wentz has a bye week.

New poll up:

[259] NEW ORLEANS
[260] JACKSONVILLE

You all deserve a rain of merits. Which I cannot give in my current state. However, the fact still exists. May love rain in clumpy droplets upon you all. No homo.
6247  Economy / Reputation / Re: The-One-Above-All Mentally sick spammer. on: October 08, 2019, 10:38:40 AM
As i mentioned i the header of the topic that person is clearly mentally sick. He is suffering from  Paranoid Schizophrenia.

People with that disease are unreasonably suspicious of others. This can make it hard for them to accept the reality. That mental disorder is giving him rise to fears that others are plotting against him. Shell I lock this topic ? Because there is no way to convince a schizophrenic that he is wrong.  Please advise.

I have a feeling they feed off any kind of attention, even if its negative, so perhaps closing it is for the better. The only reason to leave it open would be so they can continue to confirm everyone's suspicions that they are indeed psychotic and/or a troll (as if there was any doubt by this point). However, they will likely continue doing this in other threads until they are banned, so, might as well close it. Just my opinion.

I guess in this "Ask Me Anything," you can ask anything, but it doesn't include replies.

I'm quite certain CH is fully capable of bearing responsibility for his actions. He chooses to be an troll and unfortunately the forum tends to favour loud obnoxious characters. Ignoring is the right thing to do but for a certain category of hypertrolls that's not a deterrent. Plus there is always a handful of users who will engage him, either out of pity, or they're enjoying the drama, or they just don't know him yet.

I think the hypertrolls are so addicted to the thrill of being engaged with that they will go through long dry spells of being ignored just to savor that sweet morsel of attention when they do get it. But you're exactly right: people engage with them for one of those 3 reasons. The 4th reason would be they forget what the definition of "incorrigible" is - the overarching, definitive feature of a troll - which I admit I have been guilty of at times in the past. Its human nature to hold out hope for somebody even when the body of evidence suggests there is none, I suppose.
6250  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: October 07, 2019, 02:28:36 PM
While this thread is more about CSW's ongoing attempts to defraud the cryptocurrency community, I was interested in reading more about what Ray Dillinger (Cryddit) had to say about the block size debate, and found some interesting tidbits. Here's a few of his musings on big block forks, from an interview last year:

Quote
Technically speaking, there is not much wrong with any of these forks. They address certain problems in different ways slightly favoring the interests of different groups, but not seriously to anyone’s disadvantage.  None of them was entirely without technical merit.

On the other hand none of them make more than a tiny amount of difference.  None helped with the bandwidth or transaction volume by anything more than a small constant factor, so the problem they were supposedly about solving was not in fact solved, nor even very much affected.

So while none of the proposed changes were objectionable in themselves, there was really no *very* compelling reason for any of them to be implemented.  Each of those ideas is merely a stopgap that pushes the rock down the road another foot or two without moving it out of the way. If you want to move that rock out of the road, you will need a much more powerful idea.

Hint: the "much more powerful idea" isn't limitless blocks.

Edit: he also said this, which was seemingly overlooked by HardFireMiner:

And the technical problem with scale is real.  I haven't seen any worthwhile approach to dealing with it - not the one I suggested nor any of the others.

Thus, resurrecting Cryddit to support your big blocker argument is just dumb.
6251  Economy / Reputation / Re: The-One-Above-All Mentally sick spammer. on: October 07, 2019, 01:49:08 PM
He should absolutely be banned for trolling.

There's no question about it. Every single one of his posts under his TOAA alt is attacking other users on the forum. Every. Single. One.

He's never contributed positively to any aspect of the forum, whatsoever. I honestly don't understand why theymos puts up with him.

He says he's not a troll but he continues to rehash the same tired points after repeatedly being shown evidence that he is wrong. That's what a troll does -- they ignore all reasoning and rationale in order to continue pointless, all-out flame wars.

In the time since CH / TOAA started his crusade against me, I've only become a more trusted member of the community. It hasn't effected my standing negatively in the slightest; on the contrary, its probably increased my standing.

Until theymos bans him, there's not much we can do except for continue to ignore him.
6252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: October 07, 2019, 04:44:02 AM
Did terrible on the early matches I got lured into the 1st half handicap of the Pats which was like -7. Later on, I broke even after a few risky live bets taking the under 2nd half on the Bills game, Cardinals and the Packers moneyline.

I'm pounding the -9.5 Chiefs spread as my last bet the Colts have been scoring a lot but Chiefs will likely cover.
What do you think? Is it time to load up on the chiefs to win their game being down 3 going into the 4th quarter? Undecided
Even though their few couple of drives were bad mahomes can put this one out of the fire to keep their unbeaten streak alive and go 5n0 on the season.
Odds were 5.00x for colts pregame for them to win.

That did not go the way I expected it either! Just goes to show, every week there's at least one major upset. Mahomes still racked up decent QB points but didn't come close to posing a threat to my lead. Our league's scoring system is a bit wonky but I won by a margin of 23%.
6253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: October 07, 2019, 12:40:36 AM
took packers also this week, think they have a shot at the upset.

so packers, raiders, giants and broncos for me all underdogs lets see how this goes, so far this season has been ruff for the team comming in as a underdog but think that will change this week Tongue

3 for 4, not bad.

I'm up about 3 hours early today, ready to go to the only place in town that plays football games. Hope they have coffee.

Patriots trounced the Skins, and I'll be darned my fantasy team has its highest score ever. I'm actually set to win, thanks to stellar performances by Michael Thomas and Aaron Jones. I don't think there's any way Mahomes can overcome the deficit of my opponent.  Cool
6254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 06, 2019, 04:44:56 PM
after the Craig wright stalling is done, this being a civil case and all, can't he say the so-called trustees have run off
with the keys for the supposed satoshi tulip fund and simply declare bankruptcy?

Thus clearing his situation with the court and the Australian Tax Authorities....for whatever BSV or whatnot he has
managed to scam so far?

Seems to me that is his only out, if as most suspect, he has no 'last man standing' to access the so-called Tulip Fund
of the development coins of bitcoin until Jan 1st, 2020.

Only one problem with this: there isn't a Tulip Trust fund.

Oh, and about this hv_ tool. He is totally delusional and not worth quoting.

You're right. Usually when he's wrong on just 1 count I can let it slip, but being entirely wrong about everything forced me to respond. I would be best to put him on ignore.

And I would merit your post if I could but I am flush out for the moment. So have an honorary +1 WOmerit instead.
6255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: October 06, 2019, 11:23:15 AM
Looks like I'll be watching the Chief/Colts tomorrow at 8:20 AM, as its the only game I can watch in real-time, unless I want to watch a game from 1 AM to 3 or 4 AM. I'll be rooting against the Chiefs as the opposing team in my fantasy league has Mahomes, who puts up points like a beast, and will probably be the reason my team loses.

Would you guys take the Colts at +11 on that game? Probably not right?

I'm looking for an easy money bet. Can't believe you can still get 10% on the Patriots ML vs the Skins. The actual line is at 16.5, which I think isn't high enough.

I should have mentioned if you do insist on interacting with it, this is the preferred way to go about it. Thank you for not quoting its text, I appreciate it.

Does that mean I am in your good guy books?  Grin

I don't have a good guy book. Well I had one once but I had to scratch out "God" from it, so it was then empty, so I burned it for warmth one abominable winter night.

Now the only book I own is Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-tung.

Yes, to be honest I was just doing some experiments in the name of research.

I'm amazed that nobody has caught on to the "bump" system, outside of a handful of threads. People are too ingrained in the old way of doing things to notice change.
