6241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRO NETWORK , Disrupting the Airline Industry on: September 19, 2018, 01:50:50 AM
All noobs praising this project? I don't have any issues with noobs, but hey, is it just coincidence that only noobs are praising your project with one-liner post?
Can you compete with this another similar project - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5032445.msg45891299#msg45891299 ?

If you are really supported by the above-mentioned airlines, can you give us articles citing your partnership with them?
Also, the linkedin profile of your CEO just return to your homepage. Care to add proper links?
6242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BitFly - Payment solution for air travel (10m USD private pre-sale) on: September 18, 2018, 11:23:06 PM
Any press release from these big companies that you are collaborating with?

Also, any reference links of your team members?
You already raised $10M as you claimed, then, maybe, you can provide us your profile links as well as your big time advisors.
Profile link is just one step in validating your credibility here. Thanks.

Of course. Once all of the legal stuff is out of the way, invested airlines will tweet about our partnership, with an official statement coming in the first week of October.
In the next few days we will do an interview with our CEO and Christoph Mueller of Emirates Airlines that will discuss the first steps in the partnership. Official introduction of the whole development team along with social media profiles will be done somewhere in between the interview and the first official statements from our partners.

Great! Will wait for those official statements from your partners.
Credibility is important nowadays, as most projects can design a very good exit once they got their money.
This is a very promising service as travelers can be found across the globe.
I just hope everything is real and authentic here. This might go somewhere if handled properly.

6244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Patron - Sharing Economy For Influencers on: September 18, 2018, 10:09:49 PM
What was wrong with the original announcement made in February?  If the devs won't respond there, they why would they magically decide to respond under this new post?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3019979.0

Also, why didn't you link the website to this coin?

You hide information, yet you want people to trust you.  Stay classless!

That's one major problem of most of the projects here.
Lack of proper communication with the users. Without active involvement in the community, people will slowly go away.
So, how can they implement such influencers' platform if they don't even know how to handle their supporters?
6245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💰🔥💰 [ANN] QUICKCORE - Digtial Mining Revolution - Efficiencies & Power 💰🔥💰 on: September 18, 2018, 07:54:52 AM
this is an innovation to increase energy levels and make waste energy again with professional processing, this is a system that can become an asset in the future, because currently more energy is needed, innovative projects like this will be increasingly needed

Yes, this kind of project is much needed in crypto mining industry.
However, the success depends on how the the team can deliver their objectives here.
Usually, the engagement with the community from the team behind a particular project is only active at the beginning.
But, later on, their interest subsides. I hope, this is not the case here.

Also, by any chance, is the team gonna be disclosing where they are renting facilities?

6246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PCS] CIERVO - Platform for The crypto trading Industry and investment on: September 18, 2018, 07:23:40 AM
Scam.
You could at least put some effort and pick something else than at&t voice for your vid and make some fake linkedin profiles.

Can you provide proofs why this is a scam?
They are anonymous team at the moment, but I think, it's too early to say that this is another scam.

By the way, the team needs to translate this part into English -

6247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-SALE]CryptoVilla.io - AirBNB for Crypto World -Unique Two-Tokens Model on: September 18, 2018, 05:01:44 AM
Hey, TimeTeller. Our way to solve the fake photos issue is manual moderation. So no one will be able to place a flat on our platform without careful processing. We'll approve the ad only when we'll be sure that it meets our standards. Sure, we can't exclude scam requests, but we'll do our best to control it. Video call also could be requested. Anyway, we are going to bring this process to perfection. Also, keep in mind that host gets paid only after guest confirms arrival.  Although, of course, we understand that nobody can provide 100% quality online.

Regarding the price thing. Actually, our lodgings will anyway be cheaper then on airbnb or booking. We cover the part of price that usually is paid by guest with tokens. Also guest earns tokens during the conversion process so he is able to spend the tokens he earns to book a flat.

Actually, we have an idea to introduce fiat payments later, but we don't want to promise it on this stage.

This is great news for crypto users who are at the same time travelers.
Also, video call might be one of the best ways to confirm the real condition of a certain place.
I hope you will expand your operations other than Europe, maybe Asia soon. So many tourist destinations in this area.
6248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MASTERNODE] Trepco Protocol - Trust Reputation Program on: September 17, 2018, 05:33:43 PM
36-page whitepaper is not bad at all to start with. But, I hope this is not just another MN project selling their coins thru discord.
Targeting about 10BTC is already more than enough to initiate your developments.
Actually, if you have your expertise as you stated, you don't need that much.
You just need to pay maybe couple of exchanges, no need to list in several exchanges, as you are only starting the project.
You can do that later on. We will see if you really want to deploy your protocol or just for easy money...
6249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] THANATOS - The Blockchain Solution For The Funeral Industry on: September 17, 2018, 06:46:32 AM
Even if you give half from your 1 trillion supply, you will still get money out of this.
I'll check again later if your website is up and edit my post..
Maybe, I can see something valuable in here???

6250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Bitball Treasure (BTRS) - Fork of Bitball (BTB) #NoFakePromises on: September 17, 2018, 06:39:23 AM
what's the goal of this project?
Hi, Bitball Treasure is generated for rewarding Bitball contributors and have more functionality in future.
We don’t want to reveal all our plans yet, as there are lot of copy cats and scammers out there.
But we will reveal more in time.
Regards

That's a generic answer. Name derived from byteball?
Fork of another project. So many tokens out there that have no usage at all.
I wonder if you really have plans on this one.
Giving airdrops as part of the project is really not a good sign.
Yes, you are addressing the mass adoption, yet, they will just dump those tokens once it hit the exchanges.
Afterwards, no turning back. Those who bought will be left as bag holders, waiting in vain to get back their investments.
6251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-SALE]CryptoVilla.io - AirBNB for Crypto World -Unique Two-Tokens Model on: September 17, 2018, 02:16:19 AM
I like this ---

Sometimes the photo from the website is very different from its actual condition.
And do you think, the booking price in your platform is competitive with AirBnB and other booking sites?
Conversion from fiat to your token might cause inconvenience to some of your customers.
Unless, they are well-versed or at least familiar dealing with cryptocurrencies.
6252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SMILE TOKEN [AIRDROP] 50,000 SMILE Tokens Available Now! on: September 17, 2018, 01:43:26 AM
Actually, a large number of people are battling different conditions of unhappiness in life.
And most people prefer to keep that condition within themselves. They are scared what people might label them.
Very few admit their condition and look for help, because of what the society will say about their lives.

Your goal is commendable. But, implementation is another thing.

Maybe, add also your team members on your website. It will add credibility on your project.
Also, Q3 is almost over. Did you tap some of therapy associations that can help you realize this project?

I really hope that this is not just another project that will go to waste.
A lot of people need this kind of service. You'll never know, this might help save a lot of lives.
6253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will always be against cryptocurrencies? on: September 16, 2018, 11:56:59 PM
I think it's wrong if a bank opposes cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency is very supportive in transactions... Because this is electronic money that is useful for the future... I think, the bank will someday receive cryptocurrency in their business...

Banks are slowly utilizing the blockchain technology. Same technology behind the cryptocurrency. In the future, banks will use this cryptocurrency too depending oin the demand from public. If the community is big enough, its an opportunity in business especially  for banks too.

As a matter of fact, big banks are now working behind the scenes to integrate blockchain in their system.
If they will not accept such kind of blockchain innovation, they will be left behind.
Of course, at first, they are hesitant with the usage of cryptocurrencies because of the disadvantages that it brought to them.
But, the time is really changing so fast. More and more users are becoming aware of the benefits of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
So, banks are now adopting this revolution. The truth is, blockchain might be the answer to their recurring problems (i.e. transparency, fraud, and so on.).
6254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🚀[ANN] PLAYGAME : POWER YOUR GAME ECONOMY WITH BLOCKCHAIN on: September 16, 2018, 11:33:11 PM

The above statement, I believe, is very important for the gamers.
If this platform will push thru, they might attract a huge number of gamers.
And remember, this is a multi-billion dollar industry. So, they need to establish their credibility and capability to build such kind of gamer platform.
Earning huge amount of money here is just like eating peanuts, if in case, they can make this a reality. Good luck then to PlayGame!

A very high staking coin, I hope this one will have long lifespan here in crypto.
Any whitepaper on the works?

What are your plans after listing this coin in crex?

6256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ➤➤ [ANN][Bounty][FECO] FairEco - Trusted Crowdfunding Platform for the Community on: September 16, 2018, 10:18:58 PM
When will you hold your ICO?
There's nothing stated on your roadmap. Sometime this Oct??
10k eth as soft cap is high enough and difficult to raise that amount.
Why do you need such huge amount to begin with?
6257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITTORIUM [BTOR] [CRYPTONIGHTLITEV1] [NEW] [POW] English Thread on: September 16, 2018, 01:35:19 PM
this is the first thing I saw, and became the latest breakthrough from the crypto world, but it needs to add a lot of information, like an interesting whitepaper, so that it becomes a benchmark for this project in the future

Identifying this as the latest breakthrough from crypto world is quite a big feat.
Seems not appropriate though, in my opinion.
Since, even basic features are nowhere to be found.

the whitepaper will arrive soon, and the blockexplorer/website are in production.

Everyone is aiming to be the global payment system, but, I doubt this one will pull it off.
Many projects have more credibility to attain such work.
And how are you going to get huge number of users on board?
6258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MN/PoS][AIRDROP] BITSLICE - Blockchain Solutions for Crypto-developers on: September 16, 2018, 09:49:37 AM
Whitepaper not yet available?
Another anonymous team selling MN coins via discord.
The set price of $0.1/slce will easily go down to 1 cent, when they hit the exchanges.
That's the usual scenario of a project without solid backing.
Actually, even great projects with concrete plans fall to that kind of scenario.
So, what's with SLCE that deviate from others?
6259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Purple - A highly scalable and decentralized smart contract platform on: September 16, 2018, 09:42:55 AM
---
What is the story behind Purple?
It started out as a mere curiosity in the technology powering Bitcoin and Ethereum and has since evolved into a thing of it's own. The main motivation behind building such a platform was the lack of tooling and ease of use for developing decentralized applications which along with the issue of scalability are the main impediments of mass-adoption. To this day there is no platform that offers all required properties which are: complete decentralization, scalability and ease of use. Most provide only one or two of the three. Purple strives to achieve all of the three.

Do you have detailed plan on how to address those 3 important properties of a coin?
Many altcoins are already addressing such features. But, up until now bitcoin is still the popular cryptocurrency that go mainstream.
Even if there are disadvantages of using the bitcoin network, still, most people prefer to deal with it.
Because it is already an established cryptocurrency, people already trust it.
Then, how are you going to establish the trust on your coin? Mass-adoption is really one of the hindrances in making a certain project successful.

IMO the only problem with Bitcoin is the fact that it is slow. It achieves the first point but fails at the second point and there hasn't been much thought given to the third, but the third point is not that important since a third party can develop a shiny interface for it. The main two points that do not really go together in any current cryptocurrency are scalability and decentralization, they either have one or the other. Most see PoS as a solution to this but it is inherently flawed by the fact that it relies on a few trusted parties to make the network function which is centralized.

Purple achieves both decentralization and scalability by adding an additional step besides Proof of Work, thus removing the transaction throughput bottleneck but maintaining it for allowing nodes to participate. As I have said in the first post, Purple's consensus algorithm is alike to PoS in the sense that they are both stateful i.e. both have a set of designated nodes that process pending transactions. What is different is the way in which those nodes are chosen, in PoS a node is eligible if it deposits a fixed amount of tokens in an address. In Purple, nodes are required to provide a valid PoW and such they are always being shuffled. Thus, the chance of any set of chosen nodes to collude is much smaller than that in Proof of Stake.

I appreciate your explanation. But, the main problem still lies on mass adoption.
Even if you design this project to have those 3 features on, still, you are relying from the community who will really utilize your platform.
Without large following, great features are almost useless. As most of time, the value of the coin depends on the community.
And, it would take at least 6 months to years to build such true community. They need to see real progress and usage here. Good luck!
