i'm worry about provably fair or not
-snip-
so who want try play on your site no worry for deposit

Unless you are not aware yet but this site is using Moneypot's API which means that the owner of this site cant cheat the players also there is no way for this site to tamper your funds or dont allow you to withdraw your funds .

Moneypot ensure safety to its player. You dont have to worry about being cheated and check it through provably fair mechanism yourself because Moneypot do it for you . Even better is that you dont have to worry about the site shutting down itself because your funds will be keep on moneypot.com and you could always withdraw it automatically

For more references on how awesome moneypot is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1020726.0

P.S : cant help myself, I am a moneypot enthusiast though
6262  Economy / Gambling / Re: Block777.com | Bet on who will mine every #xxx777 block | Huge wins every week! on: July 01, 2015, 07:11:06 PM
logical would be that if a pool has 33% of hashpower, return should be 3x of amount

You got the wrong idea about this game because this game isnt something sort of that kind. Basically this game is about a collective pot that the amount will be divided to all the winners proportionally according to their wager amount

i.e The winning pot has an amount of 1 BTC and Eligius is the pool that mined the xxx777 blocks

There are 3 addresses that bet on eligius to mined the block with the wager amount as the following

Address A : 0.01 BTC  >> 50 %
Address B : 0.005 BTC >> 25 %
Address C : 0.005 BTC >> 25 %

House takes 1% fee so 1 BTC x 1 % = 0.01 BTC and thats leave the pot with 0.99 BTC amount

0.99 BTC will be divided among the 3 addresses proportionally according to their wager so

Address A will receive 50 % x 0.99 BTC = 0.495 BTC
Address B will receive 25 % x 0.99 BTC = 0.2475 BTC
Address C will receive 25 % x 0.99 BTC = 0.2475 BTC
6263  Economy / Gambling / Re: TappaBit.com | A NEW PvP Social MINI Game | Play Now! on: July 01, 2015, 06:50:29 PM
I thought about that too but cant you do the outcome to be random?

This is a skilled based game and basically it wont be possible to code a bot that have a random outcome for such games. You can code a bot to pretend that it have a "random" outcome for the game but the fact is that the bot will only follow pattern coded within it

i.e you can code the bot to have these pattern

First game tap at 0.2 seconds
Second game tap at 0.4 seconds
Third game tap at 1 seconds ( to ensure player have a chance to win also pretending that the result is random )

Repeat the pattern all over for the bot and some people might think that it is "random" while in fact it is just generating pattern which has been coded within it. If someone is skilled enough to notice these pattern, then he can easily take an advantage for this and beat the bot

P.S : I used the word "TAP" since it matches the site, TAPabit
6264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COPA AMERICA discussion on: July 01, 2015, 05:40:39 PM
But for final, I guess Argentina can beat Chile in regular team

Argentina is better team then Chile

Argentina is much better team

One victory that overwhelm the opposition team and suddenly people said Argentina will defnitely win this match. This match isnt going to be easy for both of the team as both are a great team. Also the fact that this is the first time for Argentina to have such a huge goal difference doesnt mean that they will win this match

Regarding the referee to favor more of the Chille team, I'd say stop getting into delusion that referee favor them because they are the home country. Basically each one of us isnt a referee and we cant see directly what's on the field so it is pretty hard for commoners like us to judge about the referee action

Just to re-iterate, ICO's themselves are not scams.

Just to be clear as well, Im not saying ICOs are scams while in fact I do know that there are some legit project with ICOs and need funding for it . I should have made it clearer on my last post that Im merely pointing my experiences in using bittrex and YOBIT regarding how YOBIT keep on spamming your mailbox with X ICO for every Y hours or so ( should have made it clearer on my last post though )

Right now, the model for holding ICO's are not favourable to the investors. More governance is needed on what is delivered to the dev based on what they deliver.

ICOs will always be risky no matter how you do it as because there are chances that dev might buy their own coins , holds it and dump it when it is on the peak for it (Rinse and repeat the pattern for more profit). However just to be clear again, Im not blaming any ICO though. Merely it is more to each individual as not every dev have the thought to scam , some did deliver a great project

Also, providing a bankroll address with a signed message could go a long way in convincing people to play there.

The bankroll is not funded by OP, but by the Moneypot investors.

Correct although that Ryan currently own most of it , however here is the proof of solvency from Moneypot regarding this

https://blockchain.info/address/1BHu79R3AV9x9EVMzKFW9Umq6HKprYRP2M

With the signature : Hy6Tdwc71fYsL9HoNWGT0y6S2pcd8L82U2Pqe5J2CVkyVKcM15j9uFoU+ItNMOU8vqVleXv3xJIqC25COjyhJrE=

You mean the source code is not your work, but the site is yours, right?

The script is using free Dan's dice script but the site is his

Moneypot is not gives guaranteed success to any site which is powered by it

Moneypot never guarantee that a site will be successful if they are using Moneypot's API, however Moneypot guarantee that the site is fair and the owner will has no ability withheld your funds even if he shuts down the site without notice
Making a gambling site is one thing with moneypot however getting players to try the site is another thing and basically we have around 3 dice site with the same layout with this one . Not to mention that there is a tendency that most people cant "let go" their favourite despite there are some sites that is better in every aspect

who will try to play there instead of staff because much hard to bet with that script

Its not hard, its simple and it has a hotkeys option to help with your betting but then it will not be enough to get people to play here regularly. Anyone can play here and moneypot guarantee that the site is fair

I very much doubt anyone has become a billionaire threwthrough gambling

There is no doubt that there are some people that are rich through "gambling". It need some skill and "luck" which most people dont have. The winner of the WSOP will receive millions of USD which serve as a fact that some people are rich through "gambling". PrimeDice 100 BTC leaderboard would serve as another fact that someone could be "rich" from gambling and thats of course is just a niche of the whole example

if they had the money to open a casino in the first place

Just to be clear, you can open up a casino of your own without any need to provide your own bankroll . Moneypot API allow anyone to open up their own gambling sites with no risk at all and your own bankroll is unneeded

For references : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1020726.0

according to Kelly formula

Thats a kelly criterion, basically it depends on the house on wether if they want to increase or decrease the maximum profit. Corrected some math of yours, it should be

Code:
1 x House Edge x Bankroll

It could be either 0.5x ; 1x ; 1.5x or 2x if they house are willing to take up some risk in order to lure in whale to gamble
6268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Differences between those gambling websites ? on: June 30, 2015, 09:41:01 PM
Meh for the faucet part , They are useless since last time I tested , there is website that yes they do give you huge amount of faucet but they don't allow you to Withraw

First thing first, I havent seen any sites that hold withdrawal due to someone that win it from faucet amount. Chances are your account could be flagged as faucet abuser or such.

Faucet is meant as a feature to help to try out a site however most seems to "hope" to be rich by gambling with it. Speaking frankly about faucet, it is one of the unique feature that differentiate each sites and that is one of the significant diffference among all the sites.
Some sites offer huge faucet amount, some offer none while some other offer a stackable faucet amount. Also be aware that there are more faucet lickers than actual gamblers ( even in PrimeDice it seems ) .

The part that i dont get is he didnt ask for Shipping fee's yet .. If he is trying to milk us for more he should be asking for the shipping fee's some might actually pay those.

He will not be pulling that kinda stunt anymore because it is too obvious already since he decided to milk by using his nonsense yearly fee. I thought this could be just his stalling tactics , left people out in question for several weeks or so but I dont see why he intended to do so.
Having a Q&A probably take less than 2 hours of his time, unless he is right now preparing for the best possible words to calm the angry community or that he had no intention on the first place for the Q&A since he is not prepared to do so?

And now hes gone dark for allmost a week

Not the first him that he do so isnt it and whats more astonishing is that there are still some people who "trust" him and sent him the nonsense fee even waited patiently for the Q&A . I would want nothing but to see him in jail instead of keep reading on his promises about all his nonsense
6270  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: June 30, 2015, 08:55:08 PM
Be careful betting here they are scammers. It's been 5 hours I'm waiting for a confirmation cause they didn't send enough fees.. This is the second time they do this.

I doubt that this is the fault from Directbet because eventhough they are sending with fee less than the standard miners fees, your transaction should be included within 6 blocks.
Unless you are not aware yet, there is currently a stress test ongoing right now and even with a standard miners fee, it will takes hours for it to be included within the next blocks. It needs average of over 50k satoshis to get it included within the next block for the current stress test so bear with it

- Get paid for ALL deposits made by your players

Am I reading this correctly that you will reward 20 % of every deposit amount from each of our affiliate deposit amount?

Code:
we will give you 20% of every deposit made by one of your players

Having such generous affiliate system will lead your site to be abused as someone could pretend to referr a person while in fact he is referring himself. Make a deposit and pretend to spin a few BTC then withdraw them up once they have got the referall payment.
Also to make it much more "legit" , someone could pretend to spend 10 % of the BTC that he deposited and lost but the fact is he will still be on profit for another 10 %

Few things to fix up
#1 You should consider to change it based on wagered amount not deposit amount since it is pretty easy to abuse

#2  spelling to fix on your affilate system pop up

PRICE PER DEPOSIT  >> should be percentage per deposit ( much more like it )

Also that each time I open the sites and it is loading, I saw the words "cargando"  (should be "loading" )

because last draw result looks like choose a person by choice

Last month raffle starts on 21st May and there were only 10 days for the previous raffle. Immediately after Bjorn posted about the raffle , I PMed him asking about this wether is it allowed to bet 1 satoshi at 98 % chance

is it allowed to bet 1 satoshi at 98 % chance to get the raffle ticket ?

Yes, as long as it is a non-zero bet you can do this all day long if you choose. The way our site is coded raffle tickets will be this way for the foreseeable future, good luck!

P.S : I dug through my PM just to find this  Smiley

Soon after he clarified on this, I tried the site and roll 1 satoshi at 98 % chance all day long almost for 24 hours daily (unless my connection stop) and during the 10 days there's only me and another user TRINITY that is rolling on the site daily.  I got 650 tickets within 10 days and submitted all of them. Just to be clear that is 650 x 500 = 325k rolls and back then the sites's roll was never as fast as today ( it was still slowish until 27th )

For references that the faster version was released on 27th

Version 1.13 (2015-05-27) fixes the following issues/bugs:
#21: Make sure that AutoBot runs at highest speed possible (result: about 2.5-3x as fast at max speed)

Conclusion : Be fast and be lucky . Most people tend to avoid a new site while in fact I urge people to try on a new site and atleast have some impression on how things work. I was lucky and faster to get on the boat  Wink .

To be honest, I was only rolling for tickets when the first time I came to this site but once I saw their dedication to be here for a long run and how they turns suggestion into reality , I decided to stick with them. Anyway goodluck with the raffle as I am saving mine for next month perhaps  Wink

As a matter of fact using cold wallet is pretty inconvenience for some people. That is why people tend to store their BTC in an online wallet and also exchanger which allow them to withdraw it instantly if needed. Also that not everyone is a tech guy that know how to secure their BTC in cold wallet properly.
This will be another reason BTC will have a hard chance to replace traditional bank as because any wallets that connects to the network is pretty much risky while on the other hand using cold wallet is inconvenience

Therefore the idea to make a BTC bank or rather call it BTC storage is pretty much a good idea which that will serve as a storage only "bank" and takes fee from this service. This would be a good service to provide some security for those who dont know how to secure their coins properly . This will encourage people to shift from traditional bank into BTC as well

-snip-
does they don't know how to do this?
-snip-

Sadly not everyone even understand how BTC works. You can even check this number of people that dont even know how to sign an address, asking about halving , blaming a site when they have waited for hours but their balance is not updated which in fact because there are no blocks found yet. Of course this is just niche and also that I do know that in some part of the world there are person that dont even know how to use Ms. Word
So yeah this could help people more as people love convenience dont they? The more convenience a life , the more people will love it more.

I think the imprisonment of funds in accounts really pisses people off.

Indeed, people love the ability to spend their funds in a matter of seconds and BTC offer it however every wallet that is connected to the network isnt safe, so thats kinda countering each another there

you say its pretty common to have 20 rolls rolling above 49.50 on a 100 provability chance?

Indeed it is, this is not the first time someone posted here about 20 + loss streak and as a matter of fact alot of people has posted the same things over and over again so for me it is pretty common here ( you can check few posts back ). There is nothing wrong with it and you are just not "lucky" with your rolls . You will need to learn about provably fair ( I gave you the link above ) and you can always check wether your rolls are rigged or not . Simply follow the steps on the website to verify your rolls

Here another link for you http://dicesites.com/tools and from the sites you can check that the probability to get 20x loss streak is about 0.00011637% . The number is close to zero but it is not impossible so with that being said, conclusion is that you are unlucky to have 20 + loss streak
6276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 30, 2015, 11:04:05 AM
I repeat, 2 stricks streak of reds in over 20 bets placed busting my dice rolls!

That is pretty common thing to have in PrimeDice actually

How is it random rolls and how is it fair?

You need to know about provably fair. Basically provably fair prevent / make it harder for the house to cheat the rolls. The rolls number are generated randomly with a combination of server seed and client seed so

Algorithm(Server seed + client seed) << Client seed will be whatever you wish to put in there and that means each time you change your client seed the roll number will be different

For more knowledge about this visit http://dicesites.com/provably-fair and if you think you are being cheated you can verify the number here http://dicesites.com/primedice/verifier

Person who did this is no joke thats for sure.

Definitely no joke at all and it seems that they have made PrimeDice their primary target ever since launch. Also the fact that they/he have/has been mixing the withdrawal ever since his first time using the account Nappa / Kane https://blockchain.info/address/18dMBap634aESPTeD3FGcAgJ2S9n4qtBTZ

From the email address, IP used and other things that have been done. This guy know stuff on how to cover up his tracks and I doubt that he wont be stupid enough to keep a stash of coins in an address or put them through exchanger as chances are he might split them up into few address in smaller amounts

So you mean PD has earned over 10k btc from the gamblers? Good profit, I thought PD has earned over 50k btc from gamblers

MICRO get this number from the wagered amount x 1 % house edge because there is no data about PrimeDice's profit since it is privately funded. Currently PrimeDice has 1M BTC wagered so roughly that is around 10k BTC in profit . 50k BTC is 5 % of the wagered amount which is quite impossible I'd say even for PrimeDice

6278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 30, 2015, 08:58:55 AM
This is what we call as a gambler's fallacies because most people think that with 98 % chance to win they will get 2 loses every 100 bets and so on while in fact that every bet is dependant and you will always get 50 % chance to either win or lose . It is highly unlikely but it is possible that there will be 50 loses or more in a 98 % chance however the probability for it to happen is close to zero ( but that doesnt mean that it is zero probability to happen )

Well gambler's fallacy is not exactly that, it's more like someone bets on red and after 10 reds in a row he thinks there is more possibilities of getting a black when in fact they are the same, always no matter what.

Im stating another example of it and if you hasnt realized my main point yet , I bolded them anyway. The main point of a gambler's fallacy is that people think that there is a possibility of X happening after Y or that X will happen because it is suppose to happen (math calculations) while in fact that each bet is dependant
Nothing to argue here, merely a different example about it I supposed, atleast this is what most gamblers fall through I supposed

P.S : I could be wrong on this
6279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 30, 2015, 08:11:19 AM
i thought that you can not lose 10 times in a row then i had 13 lose.
then i though 13 is it, then i had 15 and so on.

It's not actually martingale

It is a variances though with X base bet, multiplier Y and increase on loss Z percentage.

@tigertatas, so whats the catch? Your newest screenshot shows that you again increase your wager amount just before it hit your desired roll amount ( what a luck again ) but from your newest screenshot shows that you are - 14 clams on your profit if you compared it to the previous one

EDIT : just realized that it seems to be a different account
6280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 30, 2015, 07:18:32 AM

Judging from the several IP that is used throughout the process, it seems like this guy is no jokes at all and is prepared to take down the house. Filing a civil lawsuit isnt going to be a good idea as going into the legal way will eventually be a backfire to PrimeDice as well. This could cause the site to be inspected and of course it will be discovered as an illegal site (?)

Even if they are able to find out the person behind all this, wouldn't it potentially not stand in court because the person could deny everything and deny knowing anything about the same seeds on multiple acconts ?

There's no point on bringing this to court or file a lawsuit as I believe most BTC gambling sites are now on the "dark sides" so bringing this matter into court will only bring much more damage to the site as that will be the same as exposing an "illegal site" to the court .  Everything will be fine if Stunna will be able to locate the coins and get it back though however this is highly unlikely if the coins will be staying in a wallet instead of going through an exchanger

Moreover, if they bring that man on court for that, it will even be re-examined the fact of bitcoin case, making it more denied by the government, and making it prohibited to play on sites like this one.

Much more damage to the sites than a benefit from it, yes
